he voice of the 1983 soul smash “Love Town” features on these two songs recorded in 1995 but only released now for the first time. Booker Newberry III was an original member of 70s soul group Sweet Thunder (“Everybody’s Singin’ Love Songs”). Mike Stevens is the UK sax player who in the early 90s collaborated and played on productions for Wag ‘Ya’ Tail (a version of “Expansions” released as ‘Xpand Ya Mind’) and Dreaming A Dream (a version of “Mister Magic” with Solar DJ Louie Martin) before joining Take That as a regular musician and Music Director.
In 1995 Booker was visiting the UK and worked on sessions which remained unreleased until now. A cassette of the songs was given to soul DJ Richard Searling in the early 2000s, and his plays over the years has lead to an insatiable appetite for them to come up. “Just Can’t Give You Up” was originally by Mystic Merlin, “I Can’t Forget About You” a soul gem Ronn Matlock first released in 1979, now both given the powerful Booker Newberry III vocal treatment only he could give.

Border One pushes his sound to new extremities with this latest EP on Token 'Spectral Tension'. Known for his driving, melodically abstract productions under eye twitching pressure, the Belgian artist takes his celestial signature and puts it to the test. These four tracks embody his sound: dancefloor experiments from a modular laboratory.



Exceptional in his sound, Border One adds 'Spectral Tension' as his seventh release to the Token catalog.

London based imprint SHIBUI follows up with a second 12" on the label, with a four track EP from Brennan.

The story has been told by Bogota based artist Felipe Buraye who has been releasing steadily on the best international labels for you to check out, while also co-curating his own label called “From the Void Above”. Releasing under Buraye as well as his alter egos “The Voltaic Continuum” and “Dream Architect” allows you to see that there has been an immersive amount of work put in from this artist, therefore there is tons of music available whenever it’s on digital or vinyl format. It can safely be said that Buraye has got your audio needs covered. From A1-B2 the essence of the artist can be felt within his personal style that brings the Unitology to life. The artist has been a close friend of the label for a while so it is an utmost honour to finally have him on board with his signature flavour of music flawlessly executed.

Buttechno digs into Berlin's club psyche once more on the second chapter of X-Berg Dubs, which twists his sound into something murkier and more inward. Squashed breaks and flighty dub techno blur with jungle-adjacent sidewinds, all wrapped in rough, lo-fi textures. These tracks don't rush the 'floor, they slowly subvert and seep into it. Overdriven delays, ghosted guitars, and smudged rhythms unfold on 'Dark Loop' with 'L Dub' setting a glitchy, Burial-esque vibe, while '2080 Dub' drifts deeper into echo and decay, but with retro garage chords and 'Stone Dub' is a pure stoner dub.

Moods & Grooves Records proudly announces Turn-A-Round, the long-awaited return of D. Wynn & The R-Tyme Production. Marking his first release since 2002 on KMS Records, D. Wynn reconnects with the deeply soulful Detroit sound that defined his earlier work—timeless, emotive, and built for the dancefloor.

At the center of the release is “Love Ain’t Easy”, a heartfelt, soul-driven track featuring vocals from Record Time favorite Lavell Williams. The song carries special significance as Williams’ final known musical recording prior to his passing in 2018, giving the record both emotional weight and historical importance. Italian producer Deyayu delivers a powerful new EP on Party Tricks, channeling emotion and subtle melancholy into four striking cuts. Blending elements of progressive, deep, and tech house, the release is designed for late-night energy and golden hour moods, capturing the feeling of first light, where rhythm meets reflection.

Berlin-based duo Disguised land on Mutual Rytm with a splash of signature driving techno on ‘Nightrun’. German-born, Berlin-based pairing Alvaro and Domenik are Disguised, a duo that feels closely connected to their favourite club RSO and its Robus Floor, where most of their musical inspirations happen. They head up their own label, Inherit Records, and also host parties at Berlin's new C115 venue on the Berlin highway. Already this year, they have dropped an impressive collaborative EP with their studio partner and close friend Fabio, aka FANK, who features on this EP with his own vocals. Their sound is always defined by driving drums and hypnotic melodies that build up to intense dancefloor peaks, and here they showcase this to its fullest on their Mutual Rytm label debut via five vinyl-only cuts and three digital bonuses built and crafted to make a lasting impact. The powerful 'Where Thoughts End (ft. FANK)' rises up through the ground like an oncoming train, as drums rumble, synths peel off the groove, and moody voices have you looking over your shoulder. 'Nightrun' is glitchier and more textured, with a fractured energy that keeps you on your toes. A1 “Rip Meine Maschine” is Labelheads Tom Peters’ absolute favorite from the EP. A twisted roller driven by a distinctive male vocal, hypnotic groove and restless energy. The track became a closing moment during Tom’s latest US tour, where he played BASEMENT’s Studio in NYC, Vice Underground’s warehouse party in Los Angeles and Midnight Service in Miami.

A2 “System Effect” moves into a more dreamy and emotional direction. Floating vocals repeating “this is the sound” drift through housy pads and spacious textures, creating a track that feels both euphoric and trippy at the same time.
B1 “GA_Entry after 7AM” rounds off the record beautifully with spacey atmospheres, analog synth work, echoes and reverbs. It feels like the afterglow of a long night, designed for the early morning hours on the dancefloor or the journey home afterwards.

BERLINCIAGAY is a statement. A different perspective on Berlin club culture. Less aggressive, less functional, more emotional, dreamy and intimate.

Given that Yoshitoshi's roots are ingrained in house music, it's only fitting to start the re-release campaign with Eddie Amador's classic House Music.

Released in 1997 it went on to become a global phenomena with its hypnotic hook and infectious Not Everyone Understands House Music that has become the preach anthem for generation of house music lovers.

Farron is back on Shaw Cuts with his next EP called ãHuman LanternsÒ - a tale of social jealousy and long-standing rivalry transformed into 4 bass-heavy broken techno tracks.
The two wealthy kung-fu masters Lung and Tan are embroiled in a long lasting game of perpetual one-upmanship. Vowing to show Tan up, Lung enlists the aid of a man he defeated in a duel years ago in fashioning a masterful lantern for the upcoming festival in which both masters will compete. ãWe Are The WaveÒ and its noisy fragments and broken rhythmics led by a hefty stormy bassline, underline the tension and aversion between the two competing masters.
But the eccentric artisan is more interested in seeking revenge for his old defeat, in taking away everything Lung holds dear. The bass-driven ãSwitch OddÒ and its sharp percussions and phat kick underline the ulterior motives of the shady character.
The evil villainÕs plan of revenge contains kidnapping several beloved women of Lung, skinning them alive and using their flaps of skin to create the ordered lantern. ãGX100Ò and its fast-paced drum pattern carried by virulent synth fragments and raucous pads, epitomises the merciless act of violence.
Tan and Lung falsely accuse each other but feel constrained to eventually team up and hunt the criminal together. ãTalking To ThemÒ rings in furiously and chases the enemy with its rolling bass, chopped vocals and stomping drums, but the villain is sneaky and recalcitrant. Griffé is back and starts 2024 on a high note with Five Ten, Lausanne based producer & dj, co-founder of Flight Mode. His Surveillance EP highlights his love for acid, breaks & electro while delivering a gloomy and anguish atmosphere. Four powerful tracks for the darker hours of the night.

Frenchman Franck Roger seems to be in something of a purple patch right now, with a steady stream of succulent deep house vibes flowing from his studio, most often on Seasons Limited. 'In Motion' is a perfect set builder with its traditional deep house groove infused with whimsical melodies and a sprinkling of percussion that gets you ready for more. 'SH Time' is named after a choice piece of Roger's studio gear and swirls with lovely smeared pads, and '6th Track' closes with some persuasive swing and just the right amount of vocal heat. Early doors, late at night, outdoors in the sun, this is a useful EP for real house heads.

François X closes The Skin Between Us with a final chapter that sharpens his vision.

Where Part I explored heritage and tension, Part II brings clarity — two new tracks that affirm his belief in techno as something lived, not abstracted.

Before I Knew The World is immersive and weighty, built on reverberant kicks and magnetic pads. In Memory Of is more direct — a driving, knight-like piece balancing percussive force and tenderness.

Pleased As Punch presents four tracks from the many shades of house. Groove P featuring Adeva's 'Hold On Honey' opens with a steady groove and bass he's known for, while vocals from Adeva carry you through the track. A2 follows with Saison's 'Keep My Mind'; a deeper, tougher sound they sometimes bring. Fresco Edits' 'You Are the One' adds classic disco flavour that brings warmth to the EP, while Capri's 'Sax Thing' closes with raw, sax-driven energy. Simple, solid tracks made to resonate.

British techno veteran Justin Berkovi joins Somov with three timeless recordings that bridge pounding minimalism and emotive ambience. Cemented in the 90s history books Berkovi's sound lives on as always with timeless energy and emotive power. Adding to the release, Ignez contributes a remix of 'Step Up'.

"Split the Lark" EP is a collaborative project between Georgian DJ/producer **IKAKO** and Spanish musician, DJ/producer **The Cap Boy**. Blending their distinct musical styles, the EP likely explores a fusion of electronic, House, Tech , break and acid soundscapes, given their respective backgrounds.

Way back in 1998, following five years DJing and organising free parties as part of Sheffield's Smokescreen Soundsystem, Andy Riley and Laurence Ritchie joined forces in the studio as Inland Knights. They went on to deliver a huge amount of high-grade UK house music, but it was on this EP - here reissued for the first time in remastered form - that they first showcased their distinctively chunky, DIY-influenced sound. Check first the squelch-and-bump of soul-flecked late-night roller 'Mud Substance', before getting your ears around the dubby bass, hypnotic beats and spacey licks of 'Souldoubt'. 'Deep In' is a strutting, energetic affair full of raw analogue bass and mind-mangling effects, while 'Spent Up' is a tougher and looser slab of deep house funk.

James Shinra continues his ‘Shinra Electro Company’ series with 4 acid-laced tracks exploring different aspects of his sound. Opener ‘Acid Every Day’ keeps it simple by combining hard hitting drums with a 303, while ‘Back’ adds a soulful touch with vocal snippets and dubby chords. On the B-side, 2 sub-rattling DJ tools.

September 26th, 1994 - Jamiroquai released a song that still to this day sounds futuristic. Blending electronic, funk, jazz, soul & pop.

The record was then famously remixed by the legendary David Morales, taking the song to a whole new audience and anthem level… giving the band their first ever Billboard Dance #1.

The iconic music video was directed by Vaughan Arnell & Anthea Benton, and features Jay Kay dancing around a blue room with multiple versions of him and the other band members appearing and disappearing. The use of motion control photography allowed for a seemingly continuous shot as the camera pans around the room.

2024, Michael Gray delivers a modern club interpretation of the classic Jamiroquai anthem on his Sultra Records imprint.

Keeping the original funk, soul undertones of Jamiroquai, he takes us on a housey ride of funky disco rhythms laden with hi-pitched synths, a soul oozing chord melody and grooving drum pattern that sits relaxed allowing the emphasis on Jay Kay’s vocal and new worked bass line to do it’s thing. A lovely alternative to the dance floor classic we all know and love.

Heady French minimal and tech producer Janeret makes his debut on reliable Leeds label 20/20 Vision in early 2026 with four slices of pure late-night propulsion and deep introspection. The French producer stays true to his usual balance of groove and emotion while sculpting a sound that feels weightless yet grounded. It's forward thinking but with some hints of familiarity that makes it all the more engaging from the off. Side A brings the lift as 'Xpress' shimmers with euphoria, while 'Wiggy' locks into a playful, percussive swing. Flip it, and 'A Certain Era' slides into acid-touched reverie before 'Ocean Dreams' drifts home in layered, meditative bliss. This is Janeret at his best.

In June 2025 Jazzbois performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival in Canada. The boys were approached by Rémi Hermoso to record a live session video in front of a small audience in Studio Fast Forward. The session was planned for 4 hours to have time to record with a small live audience, but Jazzbois went in and played 5 songs in only one take without any pause and were done with the material. They handled this recording session like all of them, do one take and be done with it. This way they can get the essence of the moment and not have to worry about making a mistake and starting over. All of these are part of the song, it's honest and raw as it was born right in the moment.

JKriv takes us back to the bed for instalment #2 of his Bedits series, with a 4-track offering of pumping disco, Afro-boogie and breakbeat Brazilian bangers. Made where the magic happens, ready for the floor!

Xadenx Records returns with its second release from Uruguayan producer Lanzieri. Known for his uncompromising sound, Lanzieri delivers a heavy blend of warped electro, murky techno, and traces of hypnotic trance. These tracks rise with weight and intent—driving forward with cold precision and raw pressure.

Next up on Bosconi, the ever-persistent Italian outpost helmed by DJ sorcerer Fabio della Torre, comes a bold new chapter from label mainstay Lapucci—a familiar name to heads who remember his trippy debut Levitated Sensor Detector (LSD).

With Level of Control, the Florence-based Burbi Dub dubplate conjurer delivers a four-track EP that travels across moody electronics, psychedelic grooves, and off-world rhythms.

Kicking off the A-side is “Radio Controller”, a dark and melodic new beat jam with deep ‘80s roots—think obscure synths, rolling drum-machine funk, and a haunting vocoder line that crackles like forgotten transmissions.
Next up, “Einstein”. This one’s a jacking electro-techno burner, all drive and tension—built for those peak-time moments where things feel like they could go off the rails. There’s a cinematic sense of anticipation here, a nod to the cosmic weight of relativity and dancefloor gravity.

Flip to the B-side for “Level of Reality”—a trance-soaked electro weapon, laced with a screaming guitar-like lead and a soaring, emotional melody. It’s peak-time power with sunrise sensitivity—equal parts rave and revelation.
Closing things out is “Irabijanti”, a stripped-back, hypnotic afterhours tool with a fresh, effortless groove. Subtle nods to Middle Eastern scales and rhythms give it a dreamlike, drifting feel—like getting lost in the dunes of some alien desert.

Another must-have from the Bosconi mothership—Lapucci pilots us further out, not with a bang but with a slow magnetic pull into somewhere weird, warm, and wired.

Lawrence Asher shares his debut record on Berlin based Mood Waves. The French producer and dedicated record collector showcases a multitude of refined textures with this release, bridging the gap between pensive techno and IDM styles, with an acid attitude.

Lis Sarroca marks the tenth release on her Maai Records imprint with her debut vinyl release on the label, “Signals.” The EP spans four tracks, moving seamlessly between refined house and electro energy, tinges of Italo nostalgia and of course all infused with Lis’ signature uplifting touch. Since 2021 Maai has quickly become an essential label for tastemakers, and in parallel, Lis has been steadily carving out her path as an artist making this a milestone release of her journey this far.

Chicago legend, Green Velvet, returns to Toolroom as he locks horns with label founder Mark Knight and studio partner, James Hurr, for 'The Greatest Thing Alive'. A low slung, chunky affair that screams Miami Space terrace at 8am! Quirky, full of character and Green Velvets unmistakable vocal re-work of the classic 'Mannish Boy' from Muddy Waters pushes this record into a really special place. Green Velvet debuted on the label back in 2015 alongside Technasia with 'Suga', a record that went onto to be an overall Beatport #1 and remained as their highest selling track for many years that followed, the track also sits on an impressive 9m streams. On the flipside, head honcho Mark Knight, returns with studio cohort and DJs favourite James Hurr, as they take on one of House music's all-time classic records; 'Lady (Hear Me Tonight)'. No messing around, Mark and James offer up an alternative take to this stone cold classic, bringing the infectious vocal and iconic guitar riff to the forefront, mixing into a signature Mark Knight club heavy beat. Having previously collaborated on 'Make You Happy' with Todd Terry and last year's 'You Are A God' with vocalist Cari Golden, Mark Knight and James Hurr are fast becoming a killer duo in the studio, and throughout the scene. Produced through live jam sessions with machines and gear, Omar Akhrif’s music embraces the small imperfections that naturally emerge during the creative process. Eco Edizioni debuts in 2025 as an Italian publishing and recording project dedicated to mapping radical sound aesthetics. The label explores the territories of unconventional electronic music, giving space to forgotten productions that outline complex soundscapes through the experience of expert synthesis producers. The first vinyl release embodies this philosophy through a dialogue between different generations of the European industrial and electronic scene. The dark atmospheres of Okиho meet the analytical and methodic techno of Andrew Lagowski, taken from his 1995 album Prismatic.

The album Malnovnova is the culminating synthesis of this synergy, presenting itself as a manifesto of avant-garde sound engineering. The work pushes the Okиho duo’s research towards a totalising and hyper-technical electronic abstraction, where granular signal processing is mitigated by Lagowski’s atmospheric industrial layers.

The Is It Balearic crew has long held down all things blissed out and downtempo, and their once secretive but now essential side label Magic Wand is doing just as much vital work. Veteran house head Peter Blaker is next up after an already solid showing on Razor-N-Tape in April, and he offers two lush flips. The first is a chord-laced and gently waving rework of Kenny & Dolly that has a lovely new age wash, and the second is a more beat-driven and textured take on 'You Belong In The City.' It has a layer of percussion, big drums and a sort of rhythmic sway that is perfect for the outdoors.

Few tracks have left a mark on the underground quite like Tarantula. Now, more than a decade after winning "Top Track of the Year" at the 2011 Beatport Awards, Pleasurekraft's breakthrough anthem returns on vinyl with the iconic Original Mix on the A-Side and two powerful reworks on the B-Side, inviting listeners back into the unmistakable atmosphere of Pleasurekraft's cosmic techno sound.

Forever Records presents an extensive reissue edition of the first 'fully released' Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia album. Originally released in 1992, this is the first time the full, previously CD-only, version of Ov Biospheres and Sacred Grooves will be pressed on vinyl. The original LP and CD artwork from the various editions released in the early 90s has been combined and designed by the band, and the audio has been remastered with their full approval. As well as a new LP edition of the album, there will also be a uniquely numbered, limited edition available housed in a gatefold sleeve that comes with a bonus 10" featuring two previously unreleased tracks.

A snapshot of UK tech house in its formative years, OLC002 finds Rob Pearson laying down the blueprint for a sound he’d continue to refine through Evasive Records. Released on Online Collective—the label arm of South London’s Online Studios—this EP captures a raw, forward-facing moment in underground dance music.

The title track Slipstream leads with intent: tight tech drums ride alongside a chopped breakbeat groove, underpinned by weighty sub bass and warped melodic textures. A fluid lead synth drives the track forward, locking into a hypnotic, evolving flow built for the dancefloor.

Vortex channels early Detroit techno through a South London lens—crisp edits, filtered drum machine rhythms, and a hypnotic vocal loop combine for a stripped, late-night roller with serious intent.

On Metaphor, Pearson taps into the spirit of early bleep and warehouse house, fusing it with late ‘90s tech house sensibilities—raw, swung, and deeply functional.

The Metaphor (Bonus Beats) rounds things off as a pure DJ tool, primed for layering and extended blends.

A sharp, authentic document of a pivotal era, Slipstream EP showcases Pearson’s early command of groove, texture, and dancefloor dynamics.

We’re back! With two heavyweight artists of Spanish Electro: Dark Vektor and Robert Cosmic. Four tracks (two each) delivering pure electro with a sharp, energetic edge—exploring aliens, neons, and conspiracies.

This project was created to celebrate fragments of Brazilian underground culture, shining a light on the stories, sounds, and movements that shaped our scene.

We begin in Curitiba, with Rolldabeetz, a duo that became a milestone in the history of Brazilian electronic music. With Fábø’s restless vision combined with Soundman Pako’s 30 years of dancefloor experience, they created a timeless language that inspired a whole generation of clubbers.

These 4 tracks are fragments of that era, produced between 2010 and 2019, when Curitiba’s scene was exploding with identity and boldness. Each one carries the energy of those dancefloors at that moment in time. The sound blends influences of techno, minimal, house, and funk, designed for serious dance floors.

For this edition, the label meets this duo of producers, that has been created by the musical synergy between Zonker and Daniel Gorziza, who go by the name – “SameSame”. This disc has been titled “Unconditional Society” and has been crafted with a mission to be brought to the worldwide dancefloors and to be foreseen by the adepts of the sound it conveys. The A side is opening with a deep trancey burner “Suspect Zero”, with time passing this side of the record is morphing into the prime-time speaker ripping sound of “Rip the Jacker. The B side will see more mellow feel to it and sometimes even could be said that the vibe turns relatively melancholic by the time the record reaches its natural conclusion. The words that have been shared do not translate the profoundness of the subject that the artists have carried through, but then again, sometimes them letters have to be present even if they are kept to the slightest. The frequencies communicate much superior to the words and by now you can stop reading this and immerse yourself into the sound.

Schwefelgelb is a Techno duo from Berlin, known for their raw but precise and cutting productions. Their reputation for a strikingly energetic live show brought them into clubs and festivals around the globe.

After launching their own label n-PLEX and releasing two original EPs on it, NPLX003 marks a re-release of their most successful record "Dahinter Das Gesicht" ("Behind It The Face"), which was released on aufnahme+wiedergabe in 2017 primarily. An established History of House hall of famer’, The Bomb’ is a 90’s house, party soundtrack essential that mixies electro, hip-hop and 4/4 house it features samples from Chicago’s ‘Street Player’ & Green Velvet’s ‘The Preacher Man’ fused into a disco-funk and house groove with edgy, funky, rough and ready beats and subtle latino flavour. It easy to see why its ranked in the 100 Greatest Dance Singles of All Time! Portuguese house producer Massivedrum is on remix duties. He has remixed dance royalty from Bob Sinclar, Axwell, Mory Kantè, Alexandra Stan, DJ Chus, Kentphonik, Yolanda B Cool among many others. He lends his house sensibilities and ear for the floor to enhance ‘The Bomb’ to new levels for an unforgettable experience. Besides the Massivedrum remix and it’s dub, also the full 14’51” minutes original version is available on this double A sided release! Celestial Echo returns with a proper UK soul classic — The Cool-Notes “I Forgot How To Love You”, back on 12” and cut loud for the dancefloor.

Hailing from South London, The Cool-Notes were one of the UK’s most consistent soul outfits through the late ’70s and ’80s. While many know them for their chart successes later in the decade, this early period shows the band in a formative state — warm basslines, tight rhythm section, rich harmonies and that unmistakable Britfunk feel.

“I Forgot How To Love You” is one of those records that’s quietly done the rounds for years. A favourite of Frederika’s back in the day, it’s about time it has it’s first ever reissue.

Presented on 12” in a clean company sleeve, this edition gives the record a new lease of life.

Two rare recordings from the archives of legendary producer Richard Hewson.

Rising Star (Cosmix) began life in 1984 as a vocal single performed by Debbie Sharp. Hewson reworked the original track into a percussive cosmic disco interpretation, aptly titled the “Cosmix”, experimenting with his newly acquired Bel Delay effects unit, which became central to his studio explorations at the time.

Deep Song dates back even further, to the late-70s Richard Hewson Orchestra period - the creative blueprint that would later evolve into Hewson’s cult studio project, The RAH Band. Written, produced and assembled by Hewson in his home studio before additional strings and vocals were layered in, the track was inspired by his deep admiration for Miles Davis, particularly the landmark album Kind of Blue. Deep Song was originally released as a B-side under a mysterious alias in 1979.

Trevor Linde returns to Harmony with his long-anticipated second EP, further refining his characteristic sound. Peripeties of Stray Intention moves effortlessly between hypnotic tension and rigid groove structures, balancing precision with raw emotional depth. Drawing from years of meticulous sound design and live performances, Trevor Linde delivers a body of work that feels both emotionally charged and physically commanding, a carefully sculpted journey at the very core of his sound.

Yorkshire's underground has always run deep and this double pack from one of the region's finest new labels, Hearlucinate, makes the case well. For this double album, Leeds mainstay Tristan da Cunha has done a careful excavation of Scott Featherstone's DAT archive featuring music recorded under his Triform alias entirely on analogue hardware. The results are simultaneously timeless and urgently present, and the kind of machine jams that only reveal their full power in dark, hazy rooms. 'Harmony' has a dark and sleazy soul, there's muscular drum weight to 'What Is This', 'Basic House Rocker' has an anxiety-riddled sound that's alive with twitchy acid electronics and 'Chimes' marries vast, swinging kicks with Detroit soul. Wonderful.
