Lyssna Records Presents Znääe 002 – A Decade in the Making

We’re very excited to announce the release of ZNA002, a carefully curated VA that showcases an eclectic spectrum of electronic beats. This release marks a special moment for us, finally bringing Esoteric Workshop’s jazzy, stripped-down percussive grooves—10 years later!

Expect deep, intricate rhythms from Tom Ellis, blending minimalism with a rich, jazz-infused touch. A total banger from Levi Verspeek, bringing his signature Amsterdam flair to the table. And last but not least, it’s a huge honor to welcome Yansima on board, who shakes things up with a break-driven gem. LYSSNA!

Exciting new EP featuring the collaborative efforts of two talented music producers - Stockholm-based Weirdvin and Lyssna's own Flord King. The EP delivers a unique blend of electronic minimal funk, and atmospheric textures taking sails to the deepness of the Baltic Sea. Weirdvin, who runs his own successful Maraton label, has been a long-time friend and collaborator of Lyssna Records. This EP marks his official debut on the label and showcases his exceptional production skills. LYSSNA!

LYR002 'GDEP' sees Adam Stromstedt and Flord King split the credits with both producers getting one track on either side. A side 'SINBAD' by Adam Stromstedt is a 12 minute long piece that takes you through intertwining chord patterns and delay heavy percussions to create a multi layered low-end journey. B side 'Dapper' by Flord King is an already proven secret weapon of some of this scene's most influential DJ's. It kicks off from the first bar with minimal inspired percussion, dreamy chords and tight groove, a real cruiser.

Lyssna Records is a newly formed label out of Stockholm overseen by Adam Stromstedt, Flord King and Mohammed Al Harbiti. Two of the founding members, Adam and Flord, join forces to create a deep, jazzy and delicately put together debut. A1 'Shakshuka' is a track driven by jazzy percussion and soothing chords on top and a slightly off kilter bass groove. A2 'Det Eviga Mysteriet' straight away hits you with a more hip hop and soul inspired touch with well thought out vocal samples on top of a bouncy beat. Flip side starts off with 'Foul' a slow pulsating track that is perfect for those late night shifts on the dance floor. Finishing off the EP we have Mr. Tophat's rendition of Shakshuka, weird and delightful at the same time, just like a Mr. Tophat remix should be, BLU.
