On its latest must have release Roots Recordings takes us to the West Coast of the United States which has traditionally been a hotbed of deep, dreamy and dubby house. This is the first ever vinyl outing from Los Angeles producer Mullie Graf. There are two original cuts on show: the sub-heavy, hypnotic and increasingly acid-fired chug of 'One More Chance' and the deeper, dreamier, warmer and partially organic 'Hang On', a cut that recalls the trademark sound of San Francisco's Dubtribe Soundsystem. Fellow Californian producer Natural Rhythm provides remixes of both, following a tough, acid house-meets-dub-house pass

Ken Christensen (ECB) brings his long running Love Athletic project to the label on side A, joining forces with Sean McNulty to deliver an enticing blend of rolling, locked-in beats, soulful vocals, restless cowbells and psychedelic TB-303 acid lines. Jobu (Freaky Behavior) remixes, wrapping warming synth motifs and echoing vocal snippets around a deep tech-house groove. Over on side B, Dan Laino takes over with 'Under the Lights', a chunky and bumpy slab of lightly garage-influenced deepness. This in turn is reworked by Cory Wells, who opts for a more hypnotic and locked-in vibe.

Demarkus Lewis is known for his ability to deliver house music at a deeper level while maintaining the energy that keeps the dance floors moving, Demarkus Lewis has grown to be one of the most respected dance artists in
underground house music today. With just about 30 years of DJ experience he has has traveled and shared his craft with the world over. His music has found its way onto labels such as Large Music,Subtractive, Moods N Grooves, Kolour Recordings, iRecords, Phoenix Recordings, Viva Recordings, Guesthouse Music, Kingstreet Sounds, Pogo House Records, Plastik People, Spacedisco Records and his very own labels Grin Music/Grin Trax (Just too name a few). His cut "Every Night" instantly draws you in and hold keeps you moving using a thick bassline and kick pattern, key stabs and a vocal that binds it all together. The B remix is by Gil Aguilar who takes the dedepness and adds chug. This record sold out fast and there are only a few remaining copies left.

House music legends NATURAL RHYTHM deliver a 4 track EP of some of their finest work. This release has the vibe that will get people up, keep them moving and keep the trainspotters looking.

The A side kicks off with an infectious bass-heavy hypnotizer from DEMARKUS LEWIS. FRANK AMODO's remix adds a funky twist with a rubbery bass line and filtered keys. JOSH STONE crafts an absolute masterpiece of chunky disco that will be played for years to come on the B side.
