2026 Repress

Buttechno digs into Berlin's club psyche once more on the second chapter of X-Berg Dubs, which twists his sound into something murkier and more inward. Squashed breaks and flighty dub techno blur with jungle-adjacent sidewinds, all wrapped in rough, lo-fi textures. These tracks don't rush the 'floor, they slowly subvert and seep into it. Overdriven delays, ghosted guitars, and smudged rhythms unfold on 'Dark Loop' with 'L Dub' setting a glitchy, Burial-esque vibe, while '2080 Dub' drifts deeper into echo and decay, but with retro garage chords and 'Stone Dub' is a pure stoner dub.

Phil Berg is back on the label, with his highly anticipated return. Four tracks that
continue to pave the way he laid in 2023 with his Raid EP.

Titled Iso, the EP is a study in reduction and discipline. Phil builds each track around a single guiding tension, rhythmic loops that breathe and shift injecting different emotions as each sound passes.

Phil Berg first appeared on SK11 in late 2023 with Raid, one of his biggest and most accomplished releases to date, an EP that made an immediate impression across techno fans worldwide. Iso's four productions here, each with their own identity, each showcasing the same commitment to craft and precision that defined his introduction to the label.

The EP is a statement of intent for Phil in 2026 and one of SK11's strongest releases of the year.

Known for her flawless deep pads and dubbed-out sound design, Luna expands her sonic palette here-fusing deep and dub techno foundations with ambient textures and subtle progressive influences.
While staying true to her aesthetic, the LP explores more raw, dancefloor-ready territory. The release also features two tracks that delve into dreamy ambient and classic dub realms, highlighting her range and versatility.

Composed of the techno heavy weight Obscure Shape (formerly known as part of Shdw & Obscure Shape) and classically trained musician Conrad, BERG AUDIO is proud to welcome the duo’s exciting new project, URBAN CC. Focused on the raw side of house & dub techno, the pair’s debut release is already supported by some of the industry’s key players, setting an incredibly high standard for both their future productions as well as live performances that they have been working on during the past two years. URBAN CC’s “The Introduction” also gives the label a chance to showcase a wider array of genres, by releasing its first drum and bass output, something the well-regarded imprint has been planning to do for a long time, and is eager to keep on doing. After appearing on some of the label’s key releases, dub maestro Andre Kronert is back on BERG AUDIO doing what he does best : dubby, reduced, and highly efficient dancefloor breaking tunes - Incl. a highly awaited repress of “Triton”.

Techno heavy weight Obscure Shape continues his journey on the raw side of house & dub techno as URBAN CC (Now a solo project carried solely by him, following its origins as a duo) with the second installment of his “the introduction” series on Berg Audio. Nils Berg has been a cornerstone of the Swedish jazz scene since the turn of the millennium. Known internationally as an innovative bandleader and collaborator, this release places the spotlight — for the first time — on Berg’s work as a composer for large ensemble.
Paid To Cry is the result of an intensive collaboration with the Norrbotten Big Band, one of Scandinavia’s most acclaimed jazz orchestras. Drawing melodic clarity and emotional directness from composers such as Burt Bacharach and Kurt Weill, while embracing the raw courage of Björk and Sun Ra, and the pulsating minimalism of Steve Reich, the music forms a sound world that feels both familiar and entirely its own.
This is contemporary big band music without nostalgia: physical, vulnerable, and expansive. Written with deep trust in the individual voices of the ensemble, the compositions allow space for both collective force and intimate expression. And what an ensemble to breathe life — and tears — into this music.
With fifteen musicians moving as one organism, Paid To Cry carries enough air, rhythm, and resonance to lift the listener far beyond genre boundaries. It is music that dares to be emotional without explanation, and powerful without grandstanding — inviting the listener to feel first, and understand later.

Philippa Pacho launches her new record label, 'phorum,' with a powerful debut release from Phil Berg. Titled 'Thrust' the EP delivers four expertly crafted dancefloor tools, offering a solid selection for any serious Techno DJ.

Spulenmusik proudly presents its debut release SPL001 – Spule/Eins. A deep dive into modular techno crafted by Idu Berg, Ranya Hilgert and Franco Rossi, three artists united by their fascination for raw voltage and hypnotic repetition. Driven by analog circuitry and precision sequencing, Spule/Eins unfolds as a sonic sculpture of tension, groove, and pulse. From warehouse floors to late-night sessions, this record embodies the pure essence of modular techno: stripped, dynamic, and alive. Spulenmusik, handcrafted frequencies for the underground.

Berlin-based Buttechno has reputation for being one of techno's hardest hitters, but this EP of 'X-berg dubs' is as much about the tease as the impact. 'Tech March' opens proceedings, ruthlessly combining the kind of low end thump beloved by Autechre and LFO with snaking, junglist frills, making it dark and brooding but also irresistibly danceable all at the same time. 'Dub 22' gives us his unique take on dub techno, speedier and flightier than the genre's usual template and much more rhythmically embellished too. 'Hypno Dub' is similarly way uptempo but lithe and light, murky stabs poking through the filters, before 'Grey Dungeons' goes full on old skool junglisms, like an early Ram or classic Moving Shadow affair from the early 90s, all voodoo vocals and tense, splintered snares. Dub be good to us.

The less you know about Strange Darling before you see it, the better (forgive us for tip-toeing around context). But you can safely listen to Z Berg’s exceptional soundtrack safely without spoilers. Director JT Mollner and Z initially bonded over vintage single artist soundtracks as a days-gone tradition of filmmaking. But what they have produced together is evocative of New Hollywood, 70's-exploitation, right down to the soundtrack you want to have in your collection.

After several years, revered dub techno craftsman Andrey Pushkarev finally return with a solo release - Simbioza. Taking its name from the Romanian word for symbiosis, this release is a testament to creative exchange, built entirely from collaborations with dear friends & artists that have crossed Pushkarev’s path numerous times during his 20 years long musical journey. While staying true to Andrey’s signature deep & dubby aesthetic, the release also includes the artist’s first drum and bass output, featuring Los Angeles based Svetti’s haunting & mesmerizing vocals. The EP will be released on the well regarded BERG AUDIO during the month of September 2025 - limited vinyl copies.
