BABYMETAL feiert ihr 15-jähriges Jubiläum mit ihrem vierten Studioalbum “METAL FORTH”. Nach dem
Erfolg von “METAL GALAXY” (2019) und dem Konzeptalbum “THE OTHER ONE” (2023) knüpfen sie
nun an ihre einzigartige Erfolgsgeschichte an. Das Album enthält 10 brandneue Tracks, die musikalische
Grenzen sprengen. Mit dabei sind einige Kollaborationen, darunter Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine) und Electric Callboy. Auch Poppy, Slaughter to Prevail und Sunset Kiss verleihen dem Album ihren
Sound. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Live-Hits “METALL!” und “TRATATATA”, die bereits jetzt die
Fans begeistern. Das Album vereint gekonnt Metal mit modernen Einflüssen und zeigt die Weiterentwicklung der Band. Außerdem wurde die Gründung von BABYMETAL WORLD LLC in den USA bekannt

Eins steht fest, Slime bleiben unberechenbar und erfi nden sich in regelmäßigen Abständen neu. Die mittlerweile nicht mehr ganz neue Besetzung ist erfolgreicher als jemals zuvor. There is a great backstory to Darryl Baalki. We don't know how true it is, if at all, but it goes something like this: he is an enigmatic figure raised alone by his mother, his only connection to the outside world was his father's record collection. As a child, he believed this collection contained all the music ever created. Convinced that new music could only emerge by reassembling its parts, he obsessively listened, memorised, and mentally reconstructed sound before making new compositions from existing pieces. This is his latest missive and it is deeply moving, from the percussive jumble of the opener to the earthy shuffle and seductive sax of 'Devil May Care' via the hypnotising trumpet leads of 'Nothing Will Break You'. Fans of Mo Kolours et all will love this.

Stars on 54's "If You Could Read My Mind" is a vibrant transformation of Gordon Lightfoot's introspective ballad into an energetic 90s dance-pop and disco anthem. Created for the film54, this rendition features the powerful vocals of Ultra Nate, Amber & Jocelyn Enriquez layered over a driving beat and prominent synth melodies that evoke the high-energy atmosphere of the iconic Studio 54 nightclub. An international success, it reached number 3 on theBillboardUS Dance Club Songs and hit number 1 on the Canada Dance/Urban chart. The b-side features the Hex Hector Remix Edit.

Chord-driven and dubbed out uplifting Detroit inspired Techno workouts

The original 12" versions officially reissued for the first time, licensed directly from Greg Henderson, remastered and cut at 45 rpm. A standout choice on any playlist, Master Force’s 1979 release ‘Hey Girl’ c/w ‘Don’t Fight The Feeling’ has become a staple classic across generations tuned into the soul-funk-disco sounds of late 70’s New York and all its makings. Originally released on both 12” and 7”, both singles had different mixes and are equally sought-after.

Classic early 80s New York boogie from Greg Henderson & Leugene Whitfield officially reissued on 12" for the first time, remastered and cut at 45 RPM.

Initially serving as the house band for Stax Records, organist Booker T. Jones, guitarist Steve Cropper, bassist Lewie Steinberg (later replaced by bass monster Donald ‘Duck’ Dunn), and drummer Al Jackson Jr. were instrumental in creating the “Memphis Sound.’ They recorded the basic tracks for well over a hundred records, including backing some of the greatest artists of all time: Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Rufus Thomas, and Albert King, all the while breaking barriers as one of the South’s first integrated acts. 1966’s And Now!’ is the first to feature long-term bassist Duck Dunn, who helps create a nightclub feel that alternates between some of their most aggressive recordings and most sultry. No stranger to being in the U.S. and U.K. music charts (in both the Hot 100 & R&B categories), the jazzy first single off the record, “My Sweet Potato,” landed them yet another top 40 placement.
