Beide Formate erscheinen als limitierte Deluxe-Editionen. Die CD im Hardcover mit 24-seitigem Booklet, die 2xLP im Gatefold mit 32-seitigem Booklet, beide Formate mit Glanzmotiv. Fink veröffentlichte 2024 sein hochgelobtes Studioalbum "Beauty In Your Wake" und tourte anschließend ausgiebig um den Globus.

CTMF covern The Saints! Featuring Nurse Julie am Lead-Gesang! Die schwarze Vinyl 7" ist limitiert auf 300 Stück! Nachdem Billy ,(I'm) Stranded" gekauft und 1977 The Saints als Vorgruppe von The Jam gesehen hatte, dachte er, dass es eine coole Idee wäre, in naher Zukunft ein paar ihrer Songs zu covern. Schnellvorlauf ins Jahr 2025. Während sie bei einem Mittagessen ihre Silberhochzeit feierten, meinte Billy zu seiner Frau: ,Vielleicht sollten wir ein paar Songs von The Saints covern." Mrs. Childish (die Bassistin von CTMF) nickte leicht und meinte: ,,(I'm) Stranded` und versuchen wir es mal mit ,Untitled`." Ein Aufnahmetag wurde ordnungsgemäß in Jim Rileys berühmten Ranscombe Studios (ein semiprofessionelles Studio am stinkenden Ufer des Flusses Medway) gebucht. Die Childishes, begleitet von The Wolf (Mitglied von The Skins), stellten ihre alten Kisten in einer Ecke auf, probten ein paar Mal schnell durch - um eine Vorstellung davon zu bekommen, wie die blöden Songs liefen - und Jims haarige Pranke (stell dir die Hand eines Werwolfs in einem Hammer-Horrorfilm aus den 60ern vor) drückte auf die Aufnahmetaste und voilà! Jetzt habt ihr genau diese 45er in euren Ohren. Da man klugerweise entschied, dass eine weibliche Stimme diesen beiden Charmeuren eine frische, glänzende Note verleihen würde, übernimmt Mrs. Childish den Gesang, während Billy auf den Hintergrundgesang degradiert wurde. So sieht's aus!

Farbige Vinyl LP gepresst auf "Random Colour Eco" Vinyl. Am 16. März 2025 haben Johnny Moped zwei Sets im The Prince Albert in Brighton gespielt. Am Nachmittag spielten sie ein Akustikset. Nach einer kurzen Pause mit Fish and Chips und Eiscreme wurde am Abend eine komplette elektrische Show dargeboten. Der Wald im Pazifischen Nordwesten ist das Leitbild. ,Eternity's Pillars" ist nach der Fernsehsendung aus der Mitte der 1980er Jahre benannt, die von der Jazz-Visionärin und spirituellen Guruin Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda kreiert und moderiert wurde und sich auf ihren unerschütterlichen Glauben an die Fähigkeit der Musik konzentriert, spirituelle Transzendenz zu erreichen. ,Raise the Chalice" ist nach einem Schlachtruf benannt, den die Hardcore Legende des Nordwestens, Ron Guardipee, Mitte der 1990er Jahre oft ausstieß. ,Reverential" zollt denen, die vor uns mit den schwersten Lasten kamen, Respekt und lobt sie lautstark, wobei Musik und Kunst als Materialien für einen Antiphon dienen. British techno veteran Justin Berkovi joins Somov with three timeless recordings that bridge pounding minimalism and emotive ambience. Cemented in the 90s history books Berkovi's sound lives on as always with timeless energy and emotive power. Adding to the release, label head Ignez contributes a remix of 'Step Up'.

Renowned Vienna-based keyboardist and producer Philipp Quehenberger is known for his improvisational approach to electronic music. With a history of notable releases on respected labels like Cheap Records and Editions Mego and his energetic live sets, Quehenberger has built a reputation for a distinctive sound.

His latest release, the vinyl EP "Hot Water", comes as the inaugural offering from the newly established label "other machines".

Opening with "Emortal" a slowed down four on the floor beat is acompanied by a heavy bassriff and wobbly psychedelic synthlines, the record picks up speed but maintains its dark but catchy vibe with the house -like "Heaven" featuring strings and another wallshaking bassline.

Live recordings of Humble Pie featuring both Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton are rare. These seven tracks, recorded in excellent quality by the BBC, show Humble Pie in their element onstage. For the first time ever, Marcal's "Thought Control" is available on vinyl to commemorate Enemy Records' 20th anniversary. Previously only available digitally, the EP figures some of Marcal's biggest tracks such as "Seroto"and "Manta Ray." This ep is part of a limited series of reissues and first pressings from the label's back catalog, headed by Dustin Zahn.



"Thought Control" takes on a slightly deeper and heady direction than his previous output for Rekids or Uncage. However, the drums are still slammin' and every detail is crystal-clear. Marcal's natural progression shows he is more in control of his sound than ever before.



Manta Ray starts the EP with swinging drums and shots in the dark that will keep people marching through the night. Nevoa is the most melodic cut on the record. It's moody, wandering, and tripped out enough to disassociate you from reality. Robotic Thinking is as rigged as it is funky. The strong, pedaling, unified groove is laced with vowel formants and pulsing sinewaves. Closing out the EP is Seroto, a steady headsdown tribal workout for those trying to find their way through the late-night fog

The 9th Riddim Dub School psychonautic explorations in the 5th dubmension. The first side brings us DARE! VAMPIE, a tune made by Prince Istari and Nozomi in courtesy of the Dubstressors. This was done while Prince Istari holds a Dub Science seminar. Here you go with four versions in a strip down dub style. Flipside brings synth line driven stepper SONIC ATTACK OF THE CIRCADAS. that one and the following two versions of DUBMENSIONAL SACNTUARY are both supported by the old Hohner Rhythm 80 percussion machine. Is Prince Istari dropping out from mid highschool with this release? Or will he be back for the 10th grade? we may see.

Following his award-nominated and critically acclaimed 2023 album Until Then, Danish guitarist and composer Rasmus Oppenhagen Krogh now presents his fourth album as a bandleader. "The title refers to the pillars that life and existence rest on," Krogh explains. "The moments, feelings, and meetings that form us as human beings, and that follow us the rest of the way. Snapshots that become defining for how our life develops." Musically, Pillars balances clear song structures with rich, intricate harmonic foundations. Krogh draws on influences from jazz, indie, rock, film scores, electronic music, and pop, creating a genre-fluid universe in which the ensemble"s improvisational voices shape each piece. Ten tracks, completely deconstructed and rebuilt by twenty Italian bands, each in their own sonic language. Manchester’s own The Slow Readers Club are set to embark on a special anniversary tour celebrating ten years since
their seminal breakthrough album, Cavalcade. Titled ‘A Decade of Cavalcade’, the tour will see the band revisiting the
album that set them on their path to becoming one of the UK’s most revered indie acts, while also marking an exciting
new chapter in their journey.
The tour announcement follows a milestone year for the band with their latest album Out Of A Dream landing at
UK Number 11 in the Official Charts in the first week. With growing momentum on streaming platforms and an everexpanding fanbase, The Slow Readers Club continue their upward trajectory, making A Decade of Cavalcade both a
reflection on the past and a celebration of what’s still to come.
A Celebration of a Pivotal Moment
Originally released in 2015, Cavalcade was a turning point for The Slow Readers Club, capturing hearts and minds with
its brooding, atmospheric sound and emotive lyricism. Featuring fan-favorite tracks such as Plant The Seed, I Saw A
Ghost and Forever In Your Debt, the album resonated with a generation of music lovers and laid the foundation for the
band’s future success. One of those supporters were the band James who personally invited The Slow Readers Club to
support them on a huge headline tour which brought them to a whole new audience.
Now, a decade later, the band will bring Cavalcade back to life on stage, performing it in full alongside other cherished
songs from their extensive catalog. The tour promises to be an electrifying experience, blending nostalgia with the raw
energy of and ambition that continue to define The Slow Readers Club today.

The story of Suffering began in the UK's West Midlands in 2012 and since those nascent days they have released a nefarious collection of occult black metal offerings, beginning with their debut album, 11, in 2018 and most recently the Symphonies: Diabolis EP in 2024. They have also built a reputation for intense, diabolical live performances, appearing alongside the likes of Esoteric, Ghost Bath, and Mol. The band recently signed with infamous label, Apocalyptic Witchcraft, with label founder Conor Droney describing Suffering's music as "dark, unflinching, and deeply atmospheric, exactly what we stand for." And now the first fruits of that new alliance are about to be unveiled, in the shadowed form of Things Seen But Always Hidden. Things Seen But Always Hidden is an enveloping nightmarish journey through temptation and spiritual destruction, an immersion in contrasting states of terror and ecstasy - it bewilders, consumes and possesses the power to change and scar. Each song seeps into the next, binding them into a grimoire of dehumanising ritual, yet they exist as powerful individual entities. There is 'Enthralled', constructed from classic black metal riffs and raw vocal exhortations_and something more, something imperceptible but profoundly affecting; 'What Once Was Shall Be Again And What Is Shall Be No More', a glimpse beyond the veil, a fall down the endless paths of inherited memory that binds you to this album, this place constructed from arcane sound; the fear filled and imperious 'Hell On Earth New Eden', driven by a ravenous, unholy hunger_each chapter in this tome of unmaking and desecration will burn itself into your mind. A fusion of blackest metal, ritualistic doom and unsettling, distressing atmosphere Things Seen But Always Hidden will never leave you, no matter where you run. Founded in Cologne, Germany in 1985, Pink Turns Blue's blend of atmospheric pop informed by European post-punk contemporaries and buzzing punk dissonance of Hüsker Dü (the band is named after the Zen Arcade song) immediately tapped into a new canon of sound that was foundational to the emergence of darkwave. Released in 1987 and now remastered by Josh Bonati for vinyl release through Dais, If Two Worlds Kiss is a seminal offering to the canon of dark wave's DNA - a liquid lesson in melody, mood, and pacing - each track continuously adding to the journey like a unique push pin on a map of melancholy. Defined by their dynamic song-writing, their debut added a new urgency and depth to guitar-driven gothic rock by allowing fast songs such as the lead single "Walking on Both Sides" to possess the same sullen punch and melancholy as slower anthems like "When the Hammer Comes Down", which derives its power on the downbeat. More rhythmic variety is added through beat-driven dancefloor tracks with triumphant singalong choruses like "That Was You", showing they could swing hard - as well as swirl_

Mikabomb wurde 1997 gegründet, nachdem Frontfrau Mika ihren langweiligen Bürojob in Japan gekündigt hatte und nach London abgehauen war, um eine Band zu gründen und sich dem Rock'n`Roll hinzugeben. Nur wenige Wochen nach ihrer Ankunft in England traf Mika auf eine 16-jährige Punk-Göre namens Agi, die aus ähnlichen Gründen wie Mika ihre Heimatstadt Peking verlassen hatte. Es dauerte natürlich nicht lange, bis Mika und Agi anfingen, ihre eigenen trashigen Pop-Punk-Songs zu schreiben. Mit Ergi, Mika Bass und Tomoko, die die Band vervollständigten, fingen sie an, regelmäßig aufzutreten und sich durch ihre immer ausgelassenen Live-Shows einen furchteinflößenden Ruf aufzubauen. Sie begeisterten nicht nur Konzertbesucher im ganzen Land, sondern wurden auch vom NME als ,die neuen Ramones" bezeichnet, vom Melody Maker als ,fantastisch" beschrieben und von Steve Lamacq von Radio One als ,die beste Band, die Japan je hervorgebracht hat" bezeichnet. So wurden auch viele Plattenfirmen auf Mikabomb aufmerksam, darunter Grand Royal, das Label der Beastie Boys, das im Jahr 2000 zwei limitierte Singles mit den Titeln ,Super Sexy Razor Happy Girls" und ,Heart Attack" veröffentlichte. Ihr fantastisches Debütalbum ,The Fake Fake Sound of Mikabomb" mit 15 Titeln kam ursprünglich am 2. Juli 2001 raus. Da es auf Vinyl schon lange vergriffen ist, bringen wir es jetzt wieder raus, weil Mikabomb wieder aktiv ist und in UK gibt.

Manche sagen, es sei Albert Einstein gewesen, der das gesagt hat, aber ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass es Hristo Stoichkov war: ,Glück gibt es nicht." Manche Bands leben ihre gesamte Karriere von einem einzigen Song, was Experten als One-Hit-Wonder bezeichnen. Hier würden wir es wahrscheinlich einfach als Strohfeuer bezeichnen, etwas, das uns etwas vertrauter ist. Andere Bands schaffen es, ein oder zwei großartige Alben herauszubringen, vielleicht sogar drei. Darüber hinaus wird es schwieriger, Bands mit mehr als vier soliden Alben zu finden. Diese Bands haben etwas Besonderes, eine Art Magie. Jeder, der sie kennt, hat eine klare Referenz, eine Grundlage, ein Konzept, eine Art, Dinge zu tun, die einen fesseln und in ihren Bann ziehen, genau wie in diesem Fall. CRIMs fünftes Album "Futur Medieval" hält die Flamme ihrer vorherigen vier Alben am Leben. Es ist ein Killer-Album, voller Energie und Leidenschaft. Wie immer gibt es Hymnen, Refrains zum Mitsingen, den charakteristischen synchronen Punch in jedem Song und diese elektrisierenden Gitarren, die von der ersten Note an ihre Trümpfe ausspielen. Wie es in einem ihrer Songs heißt: ,"Nichts Neues?" Na und? Erwachsenes Vergnügen ist genau das, - Jordi "Unclu" Sabatés Ametller CRIM wurde 2011 gegründet und sind wohl die größte Punkband Kataloniens/Spanien. Diese äußerst leidenschaftlichen Musiker haben sich lokal einen Namen gemacht, spielen mittlerweile immer wieder vor Tausenden von Leuten und haben starke Songs, die in vielerlei Hinsicht eine sehr florierende Szene in Nordspanien vorantreiben. “Golden Flower – Live In Sweden” is the first official release of two concerts from Swedish television and radio archives of legendary saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Yusef Lateef recorded live in Sweden on September 13, 1967 with pianist Lars Sjösten, bassist Palle Danielson and drummer Albert "Tootie" Heath, and on August 1, 1972 at the Åhus Jazz Festival with pianist Kenny Barron, bassist Bob Cunningham and Albert "Tootie" Heath once again on drums. This is the second official release from Elemental Music in cooperation with the Yusef Lateef Estate, following 2024's Atlantis Lullaby: The Concert from Avignon. In Sweden was transferred from the original tapes and restored and mastered by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab. The limited-edition 180-gram 2-LP edition includes an extensive insert with rare photographs, newly-commissioned liner notes and interviews and testimonials from Kenny Barron and other musicians who were inspired by and knew and played with Lateef.

Finnish synthesizer virtuoso Kebu, together with Swedish singer Johan Becker (Secret Service, Fame Factory), presents his new single ‘Twilight,’ a powerful reinterpretation of the classic song of the same name by Electric Light Orchestra.

This song has special personal significance for Kebu – ‘Twilight’ is one of the songs that sparked his passion for electronic music and synthesizers.

One could draw comparisons with P.I.L, Holy Tongue, the hauntological sound of Current 93, the trippy off kilter hypnotism of Brown Rice era Don Cherry, and of course the solid foundations of Dub. This album is a compilation of hard-to-find 7" singles released in Kenya by the Audio Productions stable in the first half of the 1980s and most have never been released outside of East Africa.

Amongst others, it features artists such as Super Wanyika, led by the legendary vocalist Issa Juma, originally from Tanzania, who played a pivotal role in the Kenyan club scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Also featured is Orchestra Shika Shika, a Congolese band based in Nairobi, who recorded more than 70 singles for a host of labels. Their track included here, " Diana" is one of their very best and was the title track of their album released in 1983; featuring the sublime vocals of Jimmy Monimambo and Lovy Longomba.

In 1979, Johnny Thunders, renowned Heartbreakers and New York Dolls guitarist, teamed up with Wayne Kramer, the legendary guitarist of Detroit"s seminal MC5, to form "GANG WAR" - an alliance that lasted the best part of a year. Johnny had just released his So Alone album, and Wayne was not long out of jail after serving two of four years for a coke bust. Although Gang War released no records and were without a label - at the time they were an underground act - in retrospect the collaboration is looked on as a "rock fantasy" supergroup. These live Toronto, Boston & New York recordings bear testimony to this unique partnership between two celebrated rock guitar icons.

"Having saved enough money during a tour with Peter Tosh to buy 4 multitrack recording tapes, Sly & Robbie asked Gregory to voice a few songs for them. Because they had played on so many of his hits, Gregory generously agreed to do it for free to help bootstrap the new TAXI label.

In 1979, Gregory Isaacs was by far Jamaica’s most popular artist, earning his "Cool Ruler" nickname many times over releasing hit after hit, most of which were produced with Sly & Robbie, who at 25 years of age were already the hottest backing band. Out of these sessions came hits like "Soon Forward", a fabulous cover of Bob Marley’s "Slave Driver" and 4 other potent tracks. There were no flimsy soul or pop covers: Gregory Isaacs, whose voice and range were at their peak, sang with clarity, depth, verve and confidence, with no unnecessary mannerisms.

A must have for any serious music fan, this crucial album features extended so-called "Discomix" versions of all the songs, providing listeners with a generous serving of the Riddim Twins drum and bass extravaganza. In addition to the original album, we have added 3 dub versions that were only released in Jamaica, as B Sides of singles, in 1979. These have never been reissued until now and provide a fascinating glimpse into Sly & Robbie's drum and bass sound, which revolutionized Reggae music at the time."

This compilation of the best of Gil Scott-Heron’s Flying Dutchman output was originally released in 1974 and pulled together tracks from his first three albums “Small Talk At 154th And Lennox” (1970), “Pieces Of A Man” (1971) and “Free Will” (1972).

Ace first reissued this album on vinyl in the UK in 2017 (BGPD 306) although that version came in a single sleeve with a printed inner.
This version restores “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” to its original Flying Dutchman format in a gatefold sleeve. The music and words - pressed on 180gm vinyl - are as relevant today as they were in the early 1970s.

Switch is the tenth studio album by Dutch rock band Golden Earring, released in 1975 as the follow-up of the band's international

All tracks have been 24 bit/192 kHz remastered from the original master tapes.

Frontman Chris Reifert was already a well-known force on the underground through his time as drummer with Florida's highly respected death metal combo Death. After playing drums on the band's debut album, the much acclaimed 'Scream Bloody Gore', Chris moved back west to the more open climate of San Francisco & formed Autopsy. The band released the demo 'Critical Madness' in 1988 & it wasn't long before Peaceville Records snapped them up in a deal initially spanning 4 albums.

The partnership kicked off in April 1989 with their debut album 'Severed Survival'; a brutal explosion of heavy riffs, tight drumming & a screaming vocal, rounded off with concepts of death, disease & diabolica. This was swiftly followed up with the equally genre-defining 'Mental Funeral' opus in 1991. Released in the autumn of 1995, Autopsy's then fourth & final album before splitting, 'Shitfun', was a glorious scatological gross out & exercise in the limits of extremity & a fitting end to one of the finest bands of a Doomed generation before their return from the grave in 2009 which has continued to go from strength to strength to the current day. This thirtieth anniversary vinyl pressing of 'Shitfun' is presented on bowel- busting limited brown marble- effect vinyl, including the original cover art & printed inner sleeve.

ROTTEN, FOUL, DERANGED!

Around the end of the 1980s and the first years of the 1990s bands like PUNGENT STENCH, DISHARMONIC ORCHESTRA, DISASTROUS MURMUR or MIASMA made a name for themselves by putting out some classic albums. "Been Caught Buttering", "Changes" or "Expositionsprophylaxe" were records spawned by Austrian hordes which were globally hailed by devotees of Death Metal. As fertile a soil Austria once seemed to be, throughout the last 30 years not one single Death Metal album was put out that would match the quality of the pioneers.

Apparently, it took Brenton, an Australian settling in Vienna, to eventually put Austria on the map again. After having founded FESSUS with 3 other members in 2023, the quartet put out their first demo "Pilgrims of Morbidity" in the same year.

Now, two years after the very promising demo, FESSUS return with their first full-length. Cryptically entitled "Subcutaneous Tomb" the album's six lengthy songs stylistically continue where the demo left off. Whereas other bands focus on hyper-speed, over-technicality and brutality, FESSUS' brand of Death Metal is mostly played in moderate tempi with outbursts of speed and aggression scattered throughout the album. The songs are foremost characterized by memorable compositions and groove. Every song literally oozes with morbidity and conjures a dense macabre atmosphere. Brenton's vocals which are partly reminiscent of NECROPHAGIA's Killjoy are one of the highlights of the album. With his performance being equal parts versatile and deranged, Brenton spews vile bile and brimstone like not many lunatics before him. Although there are hints of other bands like AUTOPSY or PURTENANCE found on the album, FESSUS actually managed to come up with a sound that’s distinctly their own.

"Subcutaneous Tomb" is a perfectly produced album that those worshipping at the altar of morbid, rotten Death Metal can't afford to miss out on.

Since first arriving on the scene in 2009 with blistering inversions of shoegaze, Montreal's No Joy has always found formidable ways to reinvent itself. Now solely composed of musician Jasamine White-Gluz, No Joy has evolved over four studio albums and five EPs, defying expectation and genre, and cementing itself as something rare: a band without a category. Clearly sympatico at the time of collaborating, Fire-Toolz and No Joy (Jasamine White-Gluz) had both resituated to secluded woodsy milieus prior to the "Bugland seshies", as I now name the historic pairing. Together, they created an aural equivalent of a late 1980 I-d magazine front and back cover, with a non-problematic National Geographic hiding within. Fire-Toolz sums it up: "The collaboration really felt limitless. I didn't have to adhere to a certain vision in a way that made me feel like I couldn't be Fire-Toolz. I could easily relate to this album because Jasamine and I liked a lot of the same music, and I was able to be creative in ways that were freeing as if I was making my own album. " Both spent days driving through on empty rural highways listening to the mixes, and it reflects in the final product. With an open ear, many "influence eggs" can be detected by the listener. Garbage Dream House is Zooropian without any of U2's ego baggage. Seven-minute closing track Jelly Meadow Bright even manages to meld Stooges' Fun House out of control saxophone with the chill buoyancy of a high-end spa. Touching on respected, familiar genres and sounds while attempting to advance one's own isn't easy but Bugland manages to. What genre is it anyway? Is it even shoegaze when it could live happily on a shelf next to Boards of Canada and Autechre? The right answer is `yes'. What a lovely shelf `twould be as well. A marble shelf, with cyberpunk elements. Bugland`s a testament to White-Gluz's evolution and her ability to channel a wide variety of tastes into something cohesive that can descend into fine-tuned chaos, then out of that chaos with ease.

Peach Discs’ last EP of 2025 comes from DJ & producer Leibniz. Hopefully you can hear why we chose to wait till club season is fully upon us to put this one out – "Corridor" is a deeply heads-down, groove-forward record that casts an enveloping atmosphere across its minimal, tunneling arrangements built for dark rooms and long nights.

Across the EP's four tracks, Leibniz (real name Moritz Paul) picks a vibe and runs with it – themes persist, the focus narrows and what we get is something approaching a mood. Drawing inspiration from early 2000s techno records from the likes of Archetype while combining the ambient warmth of Kompakt’s Pop Ambient compilations and GAS releases with the clarity and weight of early dubstep and 2-step, he dived into a process of self-sampling, resampling shorter demos and ideas into full arrangements, or "making in-between tracks that help make the tracks.”

The pair of tracks on the record's A-side are made up of little more than razor-sharp percussion, billowing, restless pads and an infectious bassline, but it's the way these carefully considered elements are put together that do the damage on the floor.

Flip it over and Ten Ten breaks the 4x4 spell for a moment, leaning into a heavily swung, garage-indebted sound inspired by the king of swing himself, El-B. "If my drums resemble just a bit of the ones of El-B, I‘m happy." We reckon he can be happy. Finally, TTL takes us back to the persistent, driving energy of the A-side, with just a hint of hardgroove flavour and the kind of wonked-out fx that always suits the B2 of a record.

The first single from the forthcoming Skinshape x Horus dub album, "Act Like You Know" is a soulful reggae reworking of Fat Larry's Band's 1982 classic, featuring smooth vocals from Andy Platts (also Mama's Gun, Young Gun Silver Fox). Produced using fully analogue techniques and recorded in the spirit of vintage Jamaican dub, this 7" is a perfect blend of oldschool authenticity and modern production finesse. Skinshape (Will Dorey) and Ben Bell (Horus Records / Lion Vibes) bring over two decades of collaboration and deep roots to this project. Known for their love of rare roots reggae and dub, the pair are now crafting original material with the same dedication to sound and detail that defined the golden era of Jamaican music. Released as white label 7" vinyl in plain white sleeve with dub version of Act Like You Know on the flipside.

Status Quo has endured for over 50 years and is known for worldwide hits and tours to millions of fans across the globe. This 12" blue etched single collects together some of the band's rare tracks from the late 1990s and early 2000s, in support of the 14 track CD compilation of the same name. Until now, many of these tracks have only been available on CD singles or editions of albums only available in one country. Fronted by Dutch-born singer and songwriter Michelle Hindriks, the band evolved into a duo in the studio with the addition of drummer Tim Spencer. CIEL's sound is both atmospheric and urgent-- heavy guitars, pulsing basslines, and driving rhythms providing the backdrop for Hindriks' haunting yet intimate vocals.

Think of a sound that sits somewhere between the hazy allure of Slowdive, the urgency of Wolf Alice, and the brooding cool of The Cure-- ethereal yet punchy, nostalgic yet fresh, and leaving room for wonky sound experiments through the use of vintage synths and samples. Visual art has as much a place in the world of CIEL too, where paintings and images can show you a different place and make you wonder about the environment, the characters, what is their story? Such as the work of Tilo Baumgartel; sometimes beautiful and strangely dreamlike, sometimes dark and nightmarish, but always mysterious. Having toured extensively and gained strong support from platforms such as BBC Radio 6 Music (A- list rotation), BBC Radio 1, Clash, and DIY, the band continues to push their sound forward. After two EPs and having toured the EU with Blood Red Shoes, in December 2024, CIEL joined The Jesus and Mary Chain on their full UK tour, further cementing their place as one of Brighton's most exciting rising acts.

RAW, RUTHLESS AND CEREMONIALLY DARK!

Only two years after its inception in 2023, the ominous entity hailing from Germany has come up with their first full-length. Consisting of 6 songs with the first one being an instrumental intro, "Fiery Paths" is a very convincing effort on all levels. Notwithstanding the fact INFERNAL PRESENCE has only been active for 2 years, their hybrid of Black and Death Metal sounds as if it had been composed by a seasoned band. Unlike many outfits whose songs consist of a salad of riffs randomly thrown together, INFERNAL PRESENCE are apt at cleverly composing their material by frequently alternating between different tempi and moods. Fast tremolo picked riffs akin to DISSECTION or MAYHEM are alternated with palm muted Thrash riffs or atmospheric slow-paced arpeggios reminding of WATAIN or ONDSKAPT.

In so doing the two-piece creates dynamic songs that succeed in truly capturing the listener's attention. Just listen to standout tracks like "Eternal Exodus" or the exceptional "Tomb Procession" with its slithering groove and you will see our point proven. Although, only sharing certain musical elements with said bands, the suffocating atmosphere of "Fiery Paths" reminds of NEGATIVE PLANE's first album or early SECRETS OF THE MOON. Fortunately, the production fits the material just splendidly, too. While being gritty and raw, thus emphasising the album’s ferociousness, it's still polished enough so that no detail gets buried in the mix.
