Ninja Tune favourite and sometime lo-fi house pin-up DJ Seinfeld continues to prove he was always about so much more with a new collab alongside Confidence Man that he describes as "quirky, naive and an ode to all the summer flings out there". It came about after the pair hung out a few times and enjoyed each other's company and the tun itself has already been something of a mini classic during festival season. As well as the original with its catchy drum loops, pop leaning vocal hooks and lush strings, there is a cheeky UK garage version that has even more irresistible bump and a Carlita remix that reworks into something different but equally essential.

Rashad and Confidence announce the vinyl reissue of their debut album “The Element Of Surprise”. Though originally released in 2011, the melange of soul samples, classic breaks and favoring of lyrical storytelling / conceptual joints could easily have been released in the 90’s.

The 2xLP vinyl edition includes the 2019’s single “Desires” as well as two never before heard tracks from the 2011 sessions entitled “Non Stop” and “Feel It.” All tracks on the 2026 vinyl version are remastered!

Rashad, a Brooklyn NY emcee who sports a nimble and rapid flow excels at making anthemic choruses interspersed with highly detailed bars. Mit ihrem achten Studio Album präsentiert das von Journalisten oft als "Deutschlands unterbewertetste Punk-Rock Band" bezeichnete Berliner Trio ein Cover-Album das es in sich hat. Im klassischen "K-Tel" Gewand werden hier 12 Kracher der 50er, 60er, 70er und 80er Jahre abgeliefert. Allerdings nicht im üblichen, "wir spielen einfach mal alles doppelt so schnell-Hauruck Sound", nein, hier wurde mal richtig tief in die musikalische Trickkiste gegriffen. So kommen die ,Rubettes" im Gewand der ,Ramones" daher, ,Slade" im Sound der ,Stranglers" und ,Jimi Hendrix" sogar als waschechte Southern Rock Nummer a la ,Lynyrd Skynyrd". Von Uli Confidence dem Mastermind der Band und Betreiber des Berliner Kult-Clubs ,Wild At Heart" im hauseigenen Studio produziert, wird auf dieser Scheibe völlig ungeniert von klassischem Rock`n`Roll, über 70s Rock, Glam und sogar New Wave alles zelebriert, was der Kirche des Vertrauens lieb und heilig ist. Spaß-, Party-, und Unterhaltungsfaktor bis zum Anschlag auf Maximum gedreht, zündet hier ein Kracher nach dem anderen... 500 Stück weltweit, klassisch schwarzes Vinyl, durchnummeriert.

"Face The Fear" ist das zweite Album von In Strict Confidence und erschien im Original 1998 auf dem damaligen Kult-Electro-Label "Zoth Ommog", auf dem auch Bands wie Front 242, Frontline Assembly und viele andere in den 90ern ihre Heimat hatten. Nach dem Debüt-Album "Cryogenix" 2 Jahre zuvor, konnte auch "Face the fear" überzeugen. Beinhaltete es doch Hits wie "Industrial Love", "Alles in mir" oder "Hidden thoughts", die auch heute noch in Clubs laufen und auf Konzerten die Fans begeistern.
Nun, 27 Jahre nach Erstveröffentlichung, kommt das Album erstmals auf Vinyl. Dazu noch in transparent-weissem marmorierten 2-LP Gatefold Design und mit unveröffentlichtem Bonusmaterial.

Die legendäre Band "In Strict Confidence" läutet das gruseligste Datum des Jahres mit einem musikalischen Meisterwerk ein! Am Freitag dem 13. Oktober, veröffentlichen sie eine ganz besondere Kollektion, die ihre größten Hits in einem völlig neuen Licht erstrahlen lässt. Das Besondere daran? Alle Songs wurden komplett neu in einem faszinierenden orchestralen Filmmusik-Soundtrack aufgenommen. Klar erkennbar und doch in einer monumentalen Sinfonie neu erschaffen. The marathoner returns to Ahrpe Records with his emotional techno, the sensitive track "Confidence" as an opening. While "Muscle" provides light and summer vibes, the 16 minutes eponym track "Gazelle" closes the EP with progressive acid lines and trance influences.

PAPv006 delivers a refined blend of groove-led cuts primed for deep dancefloor moments. Max Kion opens the A-side with 'Revival', a warm, rolling track that builds momentum through subtle progression and soulful energy. Gi Gi describes his process as “dubwise sampledelia.” It begins with fragments and ends somewhere else entirely, destabilizing its source material until it stops pointing backward. A borrowed sound, looped and bent, eventually forgets where it came from; it stops referencing anything but itself.

This liquid sensibility shaped his earlier work, music that hovered between drift and propulsion, suggesting the dance floor without fully stepping onto it. Presence was implied, edges stayed soft. The center was always there, but diffused like mist on a screen.

With In Lieu, that center comes into focus. Half written in Texas, half in Australia, the shift isn’t simply geographic, but internal. The record moves with a coiled, anticipatory energy; the drums arrive with more force and the bass organizes the room instead of melting into it. It's dense with the feeling of more bodies in the frame. Textures still smear and refract, but they move around a clearer axis.

Where past records circled their core, these inhabit it, pulling closer to the body. “Some Of” and “Arque” lean into low-end pressure without abandoning his instinct for drift. "Pink Dirt" circles around mechanical drums and dizzying vocal chops, head-down and visceral. Elsewhere, voices gain newfound contour, materializing in “Downswept” with intimate musings and nearly forming a lead vocal on the title track before dissolving again.

In Lieu moves with a newfound confidence, compressing inward, sounding closer to the source of its own pulse.

Ever-evolving Amsterdam duo ANOTR continue their forward momentum with the release of their highly anticipated third studio album, ‘Withness’, out via their own imprint No Art. Rooted firmly in dance music, ‘Withness’ sees the pair refine their sound into their most dance-floor focused and cohesive project to date.

Born during their global tour, ‘Withness’ was shaped in real time: written, tested and refined on dancefloors across the world. Originally released in 2017, Zara McFarlane’s Arise represents a classic moment in Brownswood Recordings catalogue. Just before the global spotlight landed on London's new jazz generation, Zara McFarlane was already forging her own path - connecting jazz, soul, reggae and Afro-Caribbean traditions with a confidence and clarity that remains striking nearly a decade later. Arise captures an artist operating with singular vision, creating a body of work that sounds every bit as fresh and forward-thinking today as it did on release.
The album also stands as an early landmark in the career of Moses Boyd, who produced and co-composed the record while serving as Zara's longtime drummer and musical collaborator. Years before his Mercury Prize-nominated breakthrough, Boyd helped shape Arise into a deeply personal exploration of heritage. The credit list is remarkable: Moses Boyd, Binker Golding, Shabaka Hutchings, Nathaniel Cross, Peter Edwards and Shirley Tetteh all contribute to a record that now reads like a roll call of British jazz royalty. Bristol, UK-based Soul artist Scarlett Fagan presents her authentic and alluring sound through two fresh tracks produced by Tom Emerald aka Endemic. Scarlett takes cues from Soul / Jazz icons such as Etta James and Amy Winehouse, infusing her unique sultry flair. After touring Europe as the front-woman of the Hawkmen and featuring on several of their 12" Vinyl singles, she released her debut solo album in 2022 titled 'Conscious' - Scarlett Fagan is clearly poised to leave her imprint.
Side A’s “Awaken” reveals Scarlett’s vast range of vocal abilities floating over the deep horn and organ laced break-beat track, this portrays a soulful confession about moving away from chaos and moving towards purpose. The Comfort enters the double digits of its catalogue with the label’s most ambitious release to date by Saudi Arabian artist Noboot, titled “Call and Pulsate”.

Fluid in genre yet wholeheartedly electro in spirit, Noboot’s creative output shapeshifts across the record: from four-to-the-floor acid-tinged propulsion to time-freezing illuminations, with neon-coloured synths, body-twisting low ends and piercing drum hits mutating throughout the album, and often within the tracks themselves.

Noboot’s capacity for sonic manipulation is on full display here with the pieces moving with a captivating direction and command. Sometimes gentle, sometimes dramatic, but always carried with a particular elegance and poise. To listen to the record from start to finish is to step into Noboot’s own conceptual world, one in which the artist has the confidence to take floor-oriented dance music and elevate it both in spirit and form.

There is composure and ambition in this approach. Tracks move the listener from one emotional state to another in the span of six minutes: not merely teasing transformation, but by fully taking the listener there. To deliver on that ambition requires control and idiosyncratic intuition. If “Desolated Delay” and “Timer Set” are striking examples of Noboot’s capacity for propulsion, “Meter Tired” shows the other side of their talent: the ability to make time feel briefly suspended in a weightless flux of cybernetic psychedelia.

To achieve this once or twice would already be impressive. To sustain it across an album of this scale is rare in electronic dance music, and makes The Comfort’s tenth release a defining moment in the label’s catalogue.

Fronted by fellow Brazilian artist Joni's soulful vocals, "Da Fonk" bridges classic house and contemporary club energy. Its stripped-back bassline and timeless groove have made it a fixture on stages and dancefloors around the world, while also marking a turning point for Mochakk, who has since become one of electronic music's defining artists, widely praised for his vibrant live sets in which "Da Fonk" has remained a staple. To celebrate the track's continued success, Nervous Records releases the 'Da Fonk' Remix Pack today across all streaming platforms, alongside a limited edition three-vinyl release available during Mochakk's long-awaited New York City takeover from August 28, 29 and 30.

Spanning three parts, the remix pack brings together a wide range of artists, each offering a different take on one of house music's most enduring records of recent years.

The first vinyl features Mochakk’s Original Mix and OG Dub of “Da Fonk”, in addition to a new Bass Mix from Marco Carola, whose signature rolling grooves and understated approach bring fresh weight to the original without losing its unmistakable feel. The second vinyl moves across a broad spectrum of club sounds. Australian duo Confidence Man inject their playful, high-energy style into the track, while Berlin's DJ Gigola delivers a sleek, club-focused interpretation. Spanning Portland, Bristol, London and beyond, Cold Light has evolved from a friends-and-family label into something stranger but more cohesive. It's a collective spanning Best Available Technology, Birthmark, Withdrawn, the wind between, CSNL and Rael, plus a wider orbit including Elaine Malone and Tony Onuchukwu. What began as a 2019 tour experiment and crystallised during lockdown into the Live at the Laundromat sessions has now fully matured into a singular sound rather than a patchwork of ideas. Dub sits at the centre, most clearly on the sprawling 'Fields in B', but the group folds in haunted boom-bap, gritty noise-rock and ghostly trip-hop with equal confidence. 'Riot' and 'I've Known Fires' both hover in that murky, half-familiar space the collective has made its own.
