Originally released in 2018 on CD and digital stores, Los Angeles emcee Pawz One and Dutch producer Robin Da Landlord release their album "Sell Me A Dream: Flowstalgia" on vinyl.

After meeting on tour in Europe, Pawz One and Robin Da Landlord began working on their first single "It's Like That". Both the single and video were well received and the two went back to work on a full project. Their efforts blend creating a sound reminiscent of an era when style and substance were supreme. With a collaborative mix of sharp rhymes schemes and gritty drums, Pawz One and Robin Da Landlord are here to counter the trends on "Sell Me A Dream". The album is entirely produced by Robin Da Landlord and includes guest features by Prince Po of Organized Konfusion, MED and VegaMonster.

Inspired by Abba, early AC/DC, Beefheart and the dark heart of outsider pop, The Beyond and the Better Way is a record featuring warped orchestrations, extended autobiographical rants and sumptuous performances by a collection of Glasgow's (and Ireland's) finest musicians and singers The Gorgeous Pouting Mr AR is a pseudonym for Ronan Breslin - a recording studio owner, composer and academic who teaches sound and music at The Glasgow School of Art.

Ronan comes from an Irish family of musicians, with the most notable being his brother Niall Breslin, who helmed the iconic Irish band "The Blizzards" before becoming a highly regarded mental health podcaster and now presenter on BBC Radio 3. Niall's stellar guitar playing features on many of this record's tracks. The recording will be released on the 23rd May via Strength in Numbers Records on vinyl and digital platforms and will be accompanied by an online collection of song- related essays (aka rants). The album is distributed by Last Night From Glasgow. "The songs explore OCD, politics, anxiety, grief, regret, rage, lost love, but also reflect on joyous moments that define the transition from fearful child to fuck- you adolescence and finally reluctant adulthood. The album title song 'The Beyond and the Better Way' is morbidly confessional; however, it is also a statement of resilience, positivity and optimism for the human condition. Soul Clap and Haven Star join forces for vibrant collaboration ‘Gone Stumblin’ on Crosstown Rebels.

Landing on 23rd May 2025, the track brings together years of musical evolution, late-night studio magic, and the unmistakable essence of a true party anthem. Genre-blending US house visionaries Soul Clap return to Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels with a deeply groovy and emotionally charged new release, teaming up with South Florida’s rising star Haven Star for the striking ‘Gone Stumblin’ - ushering in a new chapter of collaboration and cosmic storytelling.

Rooted in a near-mythical session at Brooklyn’s legendary Marcy Hotel, ‘Gone Stumblin’ began its journey with keyboardist John Camp crafting the original chord progressions and top-line melody. After years of floating in digital limbo, the track resurfaced thanks to Soul Clap’s Charles Levine, who reimagined it with a fresh twist and brought in Haven Star—whose soulful delivery launched it into orbit.

At just 24, Haven Star brings fresh energy and vintage soul sensibility to the table—having shared the stage with legends like Patti LaBelle, Jeff Beck, and Sam Moore, while cutting her teeth across genres from orchestral pop to funk-fuelled house. The original mix merges heady keys and rich chords with a bouncing, crisp low end, while the ‘Dub’ strips it back and introduces trippy sonics and heavy low-ends for after-hours introspection. ‘Unifying Force’ leans into Soul Clap’s psychedelic ethos, before the ‘Bonus Version’ of the title cut offers yet another club-ready rework with added punch.

The project by Jens-Uwe Beyer and Thomas Venker boasts a remarkable origin story. In 2017, Venker, co-founder and co-editor-in-chief of Cologne’s Kaput magazine, hosted a gathering at Beyer's house, bringing together journalists, creatives, and musicians. To mark the occasion, the pair decided to join forces for an impromptu ambient-electronic performance, presenting themselves as a two-man band. That evening, donned in special costumes designed by artist Sarah Szczesny and fuelled by a generous amount of Japanese whisky, Hasan Poppu was born. Over the course of the pandemic, the duo thought about creating a record based on the live recording of their premiere show. However, the synergy of their collaborative creative energies led them in entirely novel directions. Their self-titled, double-sided album traverses a wild and raucous terrain, moving swiftly from hybrid noise-techno to giddy party ecstasy, to strange and shadowy atmospheres.

Including remixes by YPY, Hibotep, Lena Willikens, Efdemin and Barnt, the 11 tracks span a dizzying array of experimental dance-facing styles. 'Die-Biden' kicks off as a high-vibrational vocal experiment seemingly voiced by a sentient German vocoder. 'Kodō' follows, featuring Venker's playful mantra set against a stomping beat. Willikens' reimagining of 'Teiko' transports the track to obscure realms inhabited by strange creatures emitting ungodly sounds. Meanwhile, Efdemin's take on 'Ekusutashī' pulsates with a kinetic buzz. Flipping over to the B-side, 'Sakura' is a euphoric wall of drone punctuated by eerie whispers and mystical singing. Then, the second installment of 'Kodō' takes a fresh trajectory with a touch of Barnt’s electronic groove stylings. Finally, Hibotep's 'Shojo no yo ni flp' serves as the finsher – an unrepentant trance belter that disintegrates into sampled fragments. Loosely translating to "broken pop music," Hasan Poppu is informed by Beyer and Venker's shared love for Japan. The band takes their cues from the country’s rich sonic cultures while also drawing on Venker's wordsmith background and Beyer's flair for melding melodic tech-house with song-based synth-pop. Originally out on Beachcoma Recordings, Hasan Poppu’s debut album gets a new lease of life on Osàre! Editions with a digital and limited edition cassette tape release. Following the departure of Wire's drummer Robert Grey in 1990 WIR had risen phoenix like from the ashes of the acclaimed UK post-punk band after and were created to fulfil the final phase of Wire's Mute Records contract. With a more sequence based sound, WIR saw the band breaking all their own rules by creating a new sparse electronic music with Graham Lewis singing most of the vocals and even cannibalising their own catalogue by sometimes sampling their own older material. WIR was, however, not a long-term project and besides completing their only album, The First Letter, their only other activities were a very small number of gigs and two multi-artist "conceptual happenings" under the name I Saw You. One of these was in Clapham in April 1992 on election night and the other in Vienna in Feb 1993. On that Vienna trip, in addition to playing the gig, the band recorded a radio session for the Austrian national broadcaster ORF which was organised by Peter Rehberg - later the person behind MEGO & sadly no longer with us. This was released in 1996 by Touch on CD and consisted of two long tracks with a running time of almost 25 minutes. Once the short run of CDs had sold out, the rights technically fell to the band, and pinkflag released it - digital only - in 2007 and now released on vinyl for the first time. The remastered 2025 vinyl / CD / digital edition adds a newly recorded, Taylor Swift style re-recording of what is undoubtedly WIR's most pop moment, the dark brooding shadows of So and Slow. The version released here is based on how the band played it live, so, inspite of being instantly recognisable, it does not follow the arrangement of any previously released version.

Die aus der estnischen Metalszene stammende Band PRIDIAN wird ihr Debütalbum "Venetian Dark" über Century Media Re-cords veröffentlichen. Ihr moderner, energiegeladener und atmosphärischer Metalcore mit futuristischem Einschlag erinnert an Genre-Größen wie Northlane, Spiritbox und Architects. Beim Songwriting legen PRIDIAN den Schwerpunkt auf cineastisches Storytelling und ein starkes narratives Konzept in ihren Texten, ihrer Musik und ihren visuellen Elementen. "Wir wollen Songs schreiben, nicht nur instrumentenbasierte Musik. Singlehit "Radio", "Licht Aus" sowie natürlich der zeitlose Top 20-Erfolg und Club-Klassiker "Tango 2000" gehören zur deutschen Musikgeschichte. 1983 fand noch ein drittes Album ohne Clauss statt, der lieber Belfegore ins Leben rief, aber 2009 die Band reanimierte und 2011 in neuer Besetzung das Album "Zeichen Auf Sturm" (Gesang: Sabine K.) über Unique/Electriqie Mud herausbrachte. Seitdem spielen Nichts live, veröffentlichen Deluxe-Ausgaben der drei 80er-Alben, kehrten in die Charts zurück und wurden zu Pandemie-Zeiten von DJ Hell mit einem Remix ihres Kulttracks "Eingeschlossen" bedacht. Mit der neuen Frontfrau Nina H. wurde seit 2022 an neuen Songs gearbeitet, was Ende 2024 zu "Nitroglycerin" führte und nun im fünften vollem Nichts-Werk Gestalt annimmt. Mit "Tiefschwarz" kehrt die Band zu den düstersten Wurzeln ihrer Klangwelten im Update zurück, schließt an Tracks wie "Eingeschlossen", "Tango 2000" und "Schwarze Gedanken" oder eben auch erwähnte Belfegore ("All That I Wanted") an. Ein Sound getragen vom charakteristischen Spiel Clauss' und seinen intensiven Gitarrenriffs, garniert mit hypnotischen Beats und donnernden Drums, gelegt auf ein Fundament aus Bass und Elektronik. Die Texte - mal direkt, mal poetisch, mal rau, mal sanft - zeichnen eine Reise durch die Schattenseiten des Lebens, melancholisch, kraftvoll und ungeschönt. Singles "Kugel durch den Kopf" und "Alien", der Opener "Maschine oder Mensch" sowie der abschließende Titeltrack sind nur vier von 10 starken, neuen Songs. Nichts entfalten eine klangliche Dichte, die sowohl bisherige Verehrer*innen wie auch neue Fans in den Bann ziehen wird. Das stringente musikalische Konzept wird durch das von Katharina Sieverding lizenzierte Artwork noch geadelt: die weltweit erfolgreiche bildende Künstlerin und Fotografin aus Düsseldorf gab für "Tiefschwarz" ein Bild aus ihrer Reihe "Die Sonne Um Mitternacht Schauen" frei, welches gänzlich und ohne überlagernde Schriften das Sleeve-Artwork ausmacht. The “Circus Life” concert was an unforgettable live experience, recorded with 16 musicians in a unique “In the Round” format at the circus in Bucharest. Tarja was joined by talented vocalists, including her brother Toni, and a mix of musicians from various stages of her career.
The concert captured the joy and camaraderie among the performers, with Tarja opting for a minimalistic approach to her wardrobe to prioritize the music. The whole experience, marked by togetherness and spontaneity, became a cherished memory before the world shut down in 2020. The setlist spans her career, featuring greatest hits such as “I Walk Alone”, “Until My Last Breath” and “Innocence”, as well as fan favorites like “Victim Of Ritual” and “Demons In You”, showcasing her evolution as an artist.
The show was originally included as bonus content in the strictly limited and sold-out Mediabook and Box Set of Tarja’s 2022 “Best Of: Living The Dream” release. Eleven is a magic number in many cultures, for us maybe it is… or not, anyway our eleventh release is going to be something special with vinyl again as the main format after some only digital releases.

The man in charge of production duties is well known for crafting merciless techno exercises all over the place, RNGD is not a newcomer at all, his roots come from the late nineties and you can somehow feel that into his modern tunes.

These four cuts have a strong link with the classic Birmingham school, Regis,
Downwards, Female, Surgeon… but with a personal and unique twist.

Direct Source is a clear example of what I mentioned before, a few elements are enough to make the funk happen: a solid sequence, proper drums and a hypnotic arrangement.

Same approach on 037, proper neural funk with basic elements administered properly. B side opens with Degradation, again with the same mantra, anabolic, gymnastic and physical.

To close the release Diabólica, providing the mental slice of the pie with the
occasional pad and vocal samples but yet energetic and direct to the floor.

This is the true spirit of techno, don’t be fooled for the new trends. Timeless is the word here.

The album was recorded on a slow summer day in July 2023 in the old theatre hall of KC Nona in Mechelen. Besides the room's lively acoustics and the conscious choice for an upright piano, the recording is characterised by the usual unorthodox playing techniques and carefully documented imperfections.
In contrast to their previous record Het Verdriet, which emerged from a research project on Flemish (folk) music history, this time the premise was to compose and collect new material without any concepts or limitations. The result is a chaotic blend of abstract and melodic work featuring both solos, duos and trios, two covers of pop songs and some occasional whistling and Norwegian lyrics.

De Wonderen is a testament to the beauty found in the small wonders of everyday life. As Guy Peters writes in the liner notes: «With this album that bubbles with percussive ideas and unpredictable contrasts, you are once again reminded that beauty is more striking when you have to wait for it, or find it in unusual places."

Het Mierenlied and Vader Ademt were released as singles with accompanying video's by respectively 3D and motion designer Robbe Callewaert and visual artist and ceramist Juliette Pons. The New York Graffiti Experience 1976 is a short documentary directed by Fenton Lawless, one of the earliest on film to capture the New York Graffiti scene. The documentary started life in 1974/1975 as a slideshow by Fenton Lawless andJustine DiIanni, the film's producer,including original photographs and backed by the song French Fry 97, which was later used for the full documentary as well as other music previously recorded in 1974 by Fenton and his band.


All the music has been previously unreleased until now so Unsettled Scores Records are beyond happy to be releasing The New York Graffiti Experience 1976 on 7" vinyl and digital download.

As one of the most prolific and influential producers of the last thirty years, The Hacker’s imprint on electronic music already spans genres, eras and scene revolutions. And still, there’s more. In spirited collaboration with friend and fellow French journeyman Endrik Schroeder, the first release from The Hacker & Endrik Schroeder Project eschews EBM excess or gritty electro. Instead, two introductory tracks slip into the continuum of evergreen underground techno, influenced in equal part by the digital soul of Detroit, and the futurist experimentations of Sheffield.

Quickly escalating from a classic beat to a hoover-rave ascent determined to fill the vacuum of any warehouse, ‘Puissance’ is an unapologetic anthem that doubles as an elegant and impactful introduction to the Hacker & Schroeder partnership. Hypnotising dancers with ever-more forceful acid oscillations, the pair masterfully stave off the pressure with a wide-eyed organ riff, played live and direct from rave heaven.

‘The Voyagers’ contrasts with a cosmic groove, certain to satisfy heads-down bleep purists, while dedicating time and space for the charisma and quirks of this machine-led dance to shine through, including emotional pads and whispering voices, par excellence.

On their debut album Seven Dances to Embrace the Hollow, Zurich-based artists Magda Drozd and Nicola Genovese, as Sopraterra, offer exactly what’s announced: seven compositions which, as they unhurriedly flow into each other, mark potential entry points to discover what might be lying underneath. By choosing Sopraterra, which translates to “above the earth” in Italian, as their shared project’s name, Drozd and Genovese indicate their own position in this archeological-looking endeavor, hinting at the potential for sonic explorations to produce deeply submerged discoveries.
Sopraterra’s object of inquiry isn’t easily grasped, traversing histories and blending influences alike. In a time-line-bending manner, musical signifiers from the past, along with specific tonal scales lifted from baroque and medieval music, get digitally synthesized. As sonic matter, the result is distinctly of today: a collection of electro-acoustic compositions that remain experimental at their core, referencing genres like post-rock, shoegaze, or psychedelic, while evoking aural memories of ancient times. Seven Dances to Embrace the Hollow pulls backward and pushes forward alike. Without ever forcing a didactic listening experience, musical motifs and archetypes are thoroughly investigated. But there is no scientific ambition at play here. Rather, the harmonies of late medieval Ars Nova or the transcendent elegance of Baroque chamber music lend their emotional qualities to perceived ideas of old times.
Oscillating between ambient and drone, the album’s seven brooding compositions bring primal connections to a universally shared past to the surface. In its multi-directional positioning, Seven Dances to Embrace the Hollow makes the case for embracing the confusion of warped time and paying attention to all that’s rather felt than seen.

Recently, for example, he dreamed of Gunnar, who had witnessed the rise and fall of electronic dance music, which had once held simple-minded creatures in its thrall. The beats had a peculiar effect on them, drawing them into euphoric trances. But Gunnar, allergic to its hypnotic frequencies, stood apart, unaffected. However, eventually, in a hidden enclave in the highlands of Reykjavík, he met Dr. Amara El-Amin, a neuroscientist fascinated by his unique immunity. Together, they discovered that Gunnar's resistance was a gift, offering insights into human consciousness and the power of music. Following the success of his recent single "Just A Flute Thing," DJ Scientist returns with his latest release, "The Baku Files". This project delivers another stunning instrumental Hip-Hop gem, built on rare samples.

The first track features one of Scientist's most captivating and jazzy Boom Bap beats in years, sampling Azeri jazz from the Soviet era. With vocal cuts taken from old rap records he crafts a unique fusion of cultures and eras.
Side B of the single is entitled "To See You," a DJ-friendly rework of a track by the renowned Soviet composer Murat Kashlaev, originally re-issued a few years ago on Spasibo Records.

These two standout tracks are available on the vinyl, while the digital EP offers additional material.

"The Baku Files" is a beautiful Rare Groove Hip-Hop release, perfect for DJs and Soviet groove enthusiasts alike. It comes with beautifully designed artwork inspired by Soviet-era aesthetics.

For us, this is a top five all time tune in the soul reggae canon and maybe Leroy Smart's best ever. An early one for Mr. Smart, this is the first cut of one of his most classic tunes, recorded in 1972 for producer Gussie Clarke and originally released on the early Tuff Gong label via Wailers' associate Alan 'Skill' Cole. If you're like me and you've listened to the original Tuff Gong 45 a million times, you may have noticed that the dub version was mixed from a different vocal take, with some lyrics not on the A side coming in to the dub mix. This alternate vocal take is also the one partially used for the 1979 remix cut on a heavily overdubbed rhythm. We had always desired to hear this other take in its original form, so naturally then we had to get the great Mr. Clarke to dig this one out of his archives to hear it as it should be. In comparison to the original released cut, it's a more spare take sans the opening harmonizing, and the lyrical changes give the tune a more pleading and less stubbornly declarative mood. For the B-side version we have an alternate mix again, which is actually the one Big Youth deejays over for his tune "Pride & Joy Rock." Consider this release a prime example of DKR's "never too much of a great thing" philosophy.

Killer previously unreleased mid '80s Tetrack tune finally out on road. Astute dubplate fiends may have heard this played by Rodigan back in the day, and others may know the Mighty Diamonds' later recording of the song. But the original cut is this one, written by Carlton Hines and performed by his group, the great Tetrack. Here it is in pristine quality straight from Gussie Clarke's master tapes, and mixed faithfully in style to the original dubplate cut, by Music Works' associate Curtis Lynch. Comes on the lovely "Dubwise Made in Jamaica" version of the Music Works label, which was used exclusively for dubplates cut at Gussie's original studio back in the early to mid '80s.
