Moulton Music proudly presents House of Moulton Vol. 1, our first-ever vinyl series. This release digs deep into the Moulton catalog, highlighting some of our biggest tracks alongside exclusive and unreleased remixes that you won’t find anywhere else.

Side A kicks off with a fresh 2025 mixdown of “Work.Groove” by Mark Farina and Homero Espinosa, followed by a brand-new remix from Hotmood who brings the funk with an uptempo, driving version perfect for peak-hour sets. We’ve also included the acapella of “Work.Groove” for DJs and heads who like to get creative.

Side B goes even deeper, starting with an unreleased remix of “Burning Hot” by JT Donaldson and Seven Davis Jr. This version captures the essence of Moulton’s deep house sound with analog synths, tough beats, and signature funk. Rounding out the release is David Harness and Tedd Patterson’s Main Afro Mix of “Black Music” by Franky Boissy and Roland Clark, a powerful and soulful cut that closes the record in style.

Twin Dots is a brand new Music label founded by Alexia & Just1 based in Berlin exploring the interplay between sound & sight. The first release on the Twin Dots is by Moroccan/French DJ & producer Kizoku.

In Arabic, "Suad" suggests happiness, yet these nine tracks navigate more complex emotional terrain – bittersweet foundations supporting quirky, smile-inducing melodies born from contemplative moments.

"Suad" documents a musical journey from sample-heavy constructions toward more synthesized landscapes, paying tribute to the hip-hop Kizoku loves, from its organic roots to electronic contemporary developments. Each composition is a carefully assembled patchwork of sounds, transformed through his distinctly dreamy yet melancholic lens.

The vinyl release features a trippy illustration by Achot, whose dripping style echoes Kizoku's sonic world. Roger brought Achot's artwork to life through analog animation, adding his own experimental touch.

Braiden, an artist synonymous with the UK’s underground continuum, makes a powerful return after his hiatus with Raindance, a four-track EP of original productions on his own Off Out imprint. First emerging during the post-dubstep era with standout releases on Joy Orbison’s Doldrums and iconic Dutch imprint Rush Hour, Braiden carved a unique path as both DJ and producer through long-standing residencies on Rinse FM and NTS, where his boundary-pushing selections became essential listening.

The record channels the energy of the club and the scene he emerged from, blending freshly explored influences into a focused yet diverse body of work.

The EP opens with its title track, an unruly and visceral cut that channels early grime’s skeletal power into a hypnotic techno landscape. Clattering claps, cascading strings and a guttural bassline drive it forward, shimmering with movement and wired with an unpredictable edge. Touch The Sky, featuring a vocal contribution from multidisciplinary artist KESH, follows as a meditative centrepiece — a weightless, emotional interlude hovering with restrained melancholy and awe. X5x ramps up the energy again, urgent, euphoric, and devastatingly effective, its acid-licked synth line and thunderous kicks recalling the vastness of late-night warehouse catharsis. Lagrangian Point closes the EP on a different axis altogether; a time-dilating drone that strips away the percussion entirely while retaining the physicality and ethereal tone that runs through the EP.

Also a visual artist and photographer, Braiden’s finely tuned aesthetic runs through the record, with him self-designing and photographing the artwork printed on a full colour sleeve. Raindance arrives as a meticulously crafted statement: fierce and cinematic, a notable evolution from his earlier single-led releases, with additional mix engineering support from friends Joy Orbison and Objekt.

"Hayden James is an LA-based Australian producer and DJ who makes electronic music that speaks to a wide range of audiences. From late night clubs to festival main stages, from sunrise to sunset, Hayden's music has soundtracked moments with friends around the world for the past decade.
It took award-winning music producer Hayden James one song to become a sound of the Australian summer. ‘Something About You’, released in the heat of December 2014 by Future Classic, lit up the pop music scene and gained Gold Certification in Australia. Today the artist’s electronic pop music has hooked a global audience on his sound, with a collection that has amassed over half a billion streams."

'Don't Turn Your Back On Me feat. Pauline Taylor' originally featured on US house innovator and Basement Boys co-founder Teddy Douglas's ‘I’m Here’ album in late 2024. It's a true soulful house anthem with funky bass and a glorious vocal that was primed for a A-list remix package. Douglas himself opens up this package with joyous organ chords and soft melodies lighting up the smooth, seductive drums. Swiss DJ and producer Shaka goes next as an artist who has spent decades blending acid, Chicago, and Detroit influences into his own tunes on top labels like Nervous, GooD MooD, and Mister Bear Records. His 12-inch Club version strips things back to go deep and dubby before rebuilding with sunny melodies, expressive organs, and proggy guitar licks that bring joyous energy and real dance floor unity.

Next is NYC DJ Tedd Patterson, a true originator, resident at Ladyfags’ Battle Hymn party and a regular at Horse Meat Disco, Berghain’s Panorama Bar, and Glitterbox, as well as releasing on Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Defected, and more. His sophisticated remix boasts a warm and bouncy sound, complemented by soulful vocals that lend richness. Then it's seminal NYC favourite Danny Krivit, who is part of the cult Body and Soul crew, is a renowned remixer and editor with hundreds of credits to his name on the most important labels in the scene, and is resident DJ at New York’s legendary 718 Sessions. He draws on his vast experience to edit the original into a playful disco stomper, complete with neat guitar riffs and zippy synths, all bursting with joy as the funky beats roll on and the lush vocals soar to new heights.

Mélange is a new community and online platform for young emerging artists based between Europe and Australasia.

The first of the label’s VA compilation album, just released,spans corners of electronic and world music and weavesbetween classical/ambient sounds and UKG, Jungle & Disco. It’s a commitment to multi-genre discographies and the need for more established career paths for young, gifted artists.

With early support on the vinyl from Four Tet and Haai, our goal is to help share and further establish European and Oceanic sounds with music lovers everywhere.

Black vinyl LP. Following 2019's acclaimed self-titled debut album, Metal Preyers take the left hand path into a gloomy backwater filled with haunted creatures and fraught with peril. "Shadow Swamps" again finds London-based Jesse Hackett handling the music and Chicago's Mariano Chavez fashioning the album's visual identity, which this time includes a short film and book for a fully immersive experience. "Shadow Swamps" is the soundtrack to a pitch-black fairy tale about a father and daughter as they journey through a swamp avoiding gremlins, red swines and crater creatures. Musically, it pivots between the clattering Czech new wave experimentation of "Valerie and her Week of Wonders" composer Luboš Fišer, or the magical, eccentric lounge of Birmingham's Broadcast, and the grinding industrial grot of Italian pioneer Maurizio Bianchi. This time around, Hackett has roped in production assists from his six year-old-daughter wonder Nyasha hackett who used phone memos to record herself singing - veteran Metal Preyers collaborator Lord Tusk, and Manchester-based painter, DJ and producer Richard Harris, aka Sockethead. The crew inks an unsettling, richly textured sonic landscape, with claws of rhythmic smoke curling around chiming otherworldly xylophone, disembodied fiddle drones echoing over screwed 'n chopped beatbox dirt and half-heard magical vocals buried under clouds of white noise. When it comes to Latin soul, Bobby Matos And The Combo Conquistadores 'Tema De Alma Latina', has to be up there as one of the heaviest tracks ever recorded. This much-loved Latin workout has been rocking dancefloors for years with its infectious, driving energy and pulsating rhythms. Released in 1968, the 'My Latin Soul' album on Philips Records now receives a welcome reissue on Mr Bongo. It’s a sheer delight throughout and a premier example of the Nu Yorican sound that was thriving in New York in the ‘60s.

From a young age, the Bronx, New York-born Latin jazz percussionist Bobby Matos found inspiration through the conga drum masters Mongo Santamaría and Patato Valdez (who he had informal backstage lessons with) and timbales legends Willie Bobo and Tito Puente. Bobby was drawn into New York's club scene and began playing in the vibrant ‘60s beat / bohemian Greenwich Village cafes, followed by stints in a wide range of different venues. These included Bronx dance halls and after-hours clubs in El Barrio, through to the elegance of Carnegie Hall, Central Park concerts, and off-Broadway theatres.

Later relocating to Los Angeles, Bobby played an important role in spreading Latin music far and wide. He became an inspiration to many on the jazz dance and acid jazz scenes in the ‘80s / '90s where his recordings were picked and played, becoming prized collector items amongst DJs. The track 'Tema De Alma Latina' was immortalised as a classic for many, after being featured on the Gilles Peterson’s Street Sounds Jazz Juice 5 compilation in 1987. A captivating listen from start to finish, the album features other treats such as the dynamic album opener ‘Nadie Baila Como Yo’, the blazing flute led 'Mambo Maxims', and the blistering piano shuffler 'Raices'.

A truly iconic Latin classic whether you’re being reunited with it like an old friend or discovering it as a fresh new find.

In a fusion of science and sound, Kalocain's debut vinyl release, "Genetic Memory," unfolds an eerie tale. "W.N.G." opens a portal to an ancient world, where forgotten tongues unveil cryptic secrets. "Genetic Memory" weaves ethereal connections between ancestral recollections and the present, warping the fabric of time. "Ivermectin" delves into the surreal realms of molecular melodies, as if sonic DNA deciphers sound's enigmas. A favourite selector for many within the underground, UK-born, Ibiza-based Miller has built a reputation for his hypnotic, low-end-led productions and seamless ability to weave obscure rhythmic patterns into immersive DJ sets. Founder of the Real Gang collective, he honed his craft as a resident at Ibiza institutions The Zoo Project and Ibiza Underground, where his dynamic, vinyl-focused style earned him recognition as a key player in the island’s grassroots scene. This natural progression has since led to the launch of Tomodachi, his new club, an intimate space that refl ects his artistic ethos and evolving infl uence on the island.

Harley Maxwell, meanwhile, brings a raw energy to the project, blending his sharp vocal delivery and lyrical edge with Miller’s meticulous production style. Their collaborative debut at fabric, during Miller’s all-night set, showcased a shared ability to push conventional boundaries, as they provided a fi rst glimpse into the music that would in turn become ‘Caviar’.

The EP opens with the title cut, a stripped-back yet infectious roller that glides between deep basslines, textured percussion, and subtle melodic fl ourishes. ‘How It Runs’ follows with its sharp drum work, zippy synths, and a playful groove built for the dancefl oor. Rounding off the release, the vinyl-only ‘Dreaming Experience’ sees Miller step out solo as he delves into deeper territories with hazy atmospherics, creating a tripped-out late-night journey. Diving straight into the breakbeats for a classic atmospheric workout, Side Effect sees Aural Imbalance utilise the timeless Hot Pants break with a juddering, detailed beat pattern which sets the tone for a delightfully dreamlike track. Inspiring washes of floaty, subtle synthwork sail serenely across bassy seas - an inquisitive, tonally perfect 808 sub rising and falling below like distant waves, far away from land.

A2 - Blue Light
Panning, swooshing effects and filtered breaks introduce Blue Light, dancing gently before presenting us with an elegantly sombre synth that surrounds the ears like a calming comfort blanket. A clutch of discreet melodies develop throughout, hovering over the breaks like a living watercolour, begging you to shut the noise of the world out and allow this expertly crafted atmosphere to soothe your core.

AA1 - Cascade
Clouds of wistful pads wash over delicate hi hats as Aural Imbalance smoothly introduces Cascade, an immensely tight, break-driven track with a beat pattern to die for. The breaks are crisp and intense in the mix with swathes of inimitable ambience flowing as the 808 dutifully rumbles below. This track is a classic, impeccable fusion of atmospherics and breakbeats that make you move, and will fit any discerning DJ setlist.

AA2 - Different World
An inspired, melodic underwater kaleidoscopic introduction welcomes a fitting closing track to the EP, Different World. Conjuring images of playful marine life dancing in the filtered light, a serene landscape of sound rides analogue old-school breaks laden with dense kickdrums and excitable hats. The track develops with quiet intent, effects constantly added and retracted as the breaks flow, effortlessly.

Deep In Dis Intl. is back with another killer release, this time by Brazilian sound system culture precursor Rassan and his Don't Hesitate EP. It includes a remix by UK's rising DJ Producer Bailey Ibbs. It is widely known by now that the Brazilian electronic music scene is one of the fastest growing and its artists are gradually developing a unique style with a strong international influence. Rassan, co-founder of the Nice & Deadly record label is a promising talent, making noise with his 90's raver influenced productions.

A1. "Don't Hesitate" is like stepping into a time machine. Nostalgic piano riffs, classic breakbeats and catchy vocal samples. Perfect summer anthem.
A2. "Rota De Fuga" is one of those tracks that can really transport you just by closing your eyes. It has a darker, trippy and speedier vibe that stimulates and submerges you deeper into the night.

Regarded as one of the leading figures within the modern jungle scene, Newcastle’s Nectax returns with his second EP of the year, ‘Star & Shadow’, this time landing on London-based label Up Ya Archives. Championed by DJ Flight, Nectax was the first release back on her label play:musik after 14 years with Body Talk EP. At the end of 2024, Nectax was nominated for Breakthrough Producer at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards, further solidifying his position as one of the scene’s essential contemporary artists.

Dave Davis, a legendary name in Belgian electronic music, made his mark with classics on Bonzai Records, including the iconic "Transfiguration." Known worldwide for his DJ sets and as a vocalist under the alias JD Davis (Chab’s "Closer to Me," David Guetta’s "The World Is Mine"), he now teams up with ID10-T, a Swiss producer making waves with his raw, no-compromise techno style.

This release features two tracks crafted for peak-time dancefloors:

New on Sublease is label boss Steve Bug teaming up with Herve Solar, an emerging talent from Geneva whose debut was featured on Poker Flats Under One Roof series previously. The two artists first crossed paths at the Mixmasters retreat in Ibiza, where Herve participated as a student under the guidance of Steve Bug. Impressed by Herves material, Steve Bug saw potential for collaboration. Upon returning to Geneva, Herve sent Steve a few unfinished tracks, sparking the idea for a joint EP. The creative process involved each artist sending a track for the other to complete, with Steve Bug adding the final touches in his Berlin studio.

No Faith, No Dreams highlights a slinky, sexy sound that will instanty win over other DJs and crowds, and is also shared here via a remix courtesy of Jürgen Kirsch. His rework is a little tougher, stripping the sound down to ist essentials before bringing up the energy with a dubby bassline and intricate percussion. Swamp Frog is the 3rd track of the release, a grooving bassline providing the anchor for the rhythm and detuned chords that lend the whole thing a wonky, loose feel for the heads.

Jason Velo hails from Wisconsin and has been DJing for years, mostly in the rams of Chicago and Detroit house., He has recently decided to branch out into production and this latest outing comes on Noonish and is deep, groovy and minimal house for afterparties in cosy basements. Opener 'Dream Wheel' has diffuse, humid chords radiating out of a gentry bumping deep house groove, while 'Slow Burn' is just that with its horizontal vibes and gentle patter of drums over a nice rolling bassline. 'Lost Remote' is far less anxious than the situation it describes, though it does have a more eerie and cosmic feel than the others with its deft melodies and larger sense of scales. Tasteful stuff.

Best of all, it is friendly camaraderie, based around a loose theme of renegade mutant MC talents running wild. DJ 7L explains, All three of us are influenced by comics, sci-fi movies, TV, wrestling. 'What You Want' features the legendary Byron Stingily, a Chicago house singer and Ten City vocalist with a famous falsetto. Here he serves up a moody spoken word sermon over chunky house drums with a dark energy and late-night sense of soul. Electric synth patterns wave in and out to bring great drama to this full-flavour groove. 'What You Want' also comes as a more pared-back but still jacking dub with plenty of smart studio effects.

'Take You Back' is a surging house sound with deep bass and drums and whimsical synth patterns that dance over the beats. Analluring female vocal pulls you in ever closer to a track that is both emotive and physical, steamy but sensuous.

Francis Bebey was a visionary who explored the intersection of African traditions and global music long before it became a global trend. Born in Cameroon, Bebey's sound was an eclectic blend of his rich cultural heritage and his deep exploration of modern music, spanning genres from traditional folk and jazz to funk and electronic experimentation. As an artist, Bebey was ahead of his time, using his unique voice and instruments to forge new paths for African music to be heard worldwide. His legacy is not just in the music he created but in the way he opened doors for the global recognition of African artists, influencing generations of musicians, producers, and fans alike.

Agatha (Voilaaa Remix): Bruno "Patchworks" Hovart from Lyon is the brains behind the Voilaaa project. His latest EP, Moving Into Jazz, showcases his signature sound with four diverse tracks. Tom Esselle, staple of the South London music scene, hits his stride on Rhythm Section release Revolutions and Evolutions. Building on the success of his previous releases (Lou’s Groove on Rhythm Section’s Shouts 2021 compilation, Praise Bes EP on Wolf Music in 2022), his latest EP further showcases the breadth of his sound. Drawing on influences from across the house music spectrum and honing skills developed in the studio with Chaos In The CBD, Revolutions & Evolutions delivers a sound that looks boldly to the future while remaining firmly grounded in the classics.

The A-side is primed for peak dance floor action: Baddies features a mid-2000s RnB vocal that did serious damage when Bradley Zero played it at Circoloco last summer, while Plaything, a big-room tech-house banger, echoes Moon Harbour's tougher catalogue, or a skunked-out Gavin Herlihy.

The B-side is a slice of sunshine with One Of These Days, an uplifting daytime house track featuring a deft keys solo from Dave Koor (Albert’s Favourites, The Expansions, Modified Man). Harmonise rounds off the EP: a smoky, dreamy groover to warm up the party or lock it in during the early hours.

Tom has been producing music since 2010, patiently refining his sound. His 2015 debut, the choppy drum workout Until She Spoke on Wholemeal Music, became a quiet underground success played by luminaries like Ruf Dug and Gilles Peterson, and remains a staple in many a record bag to this day. The Aachen Jazz Files celebrates the pioneering spirit of NABEL Records—one of Germany’s most underrated yet influential independent jazz labels. Founded in 1980 by Rainer Wiedensohler, NABEL became a home for innovative musicians blending classic acoustic jazz with fusion, Brazilian rhythms, and avant-garde flourishes.

This compilation collects some of the label’s finest moments, including the soulful and Latin-tinged brilliance of Monika Linges Quartet (whose album *Floating* was reissued last year by PANORAMA Records for RSD Black Friday), the cosmic jazz explorations of John Thomas & Lifeforce, the deep jazz-funk grooves of Hipsters In The Zone, and the stunning, expressive vocals of Maria João’s quintet.

Nestled in the far west of Germany, near the Dutch and Belgian borders, Aachen has long been a hidden gem for jazz lovers. Its vibrant scene, fueled by music schools and the legendary Malteserkeller jazz club, cultivated a unique sound that resonated far beyond its city limits. In fact, the city didn’t just birth a jazz movement—it also lays claim to opening Germany’s first discotheque in 1959.

From London to Tokyo, NABEL’s releases became secret weapons for jazz DJs seeking deep, danceable cuts. The label’s trademark blend of acoustic jazz, fusion, and Brazilian influences made its way onto turntables in underground clubs and festival stages worldwide.

Expect elegant samba jazz, spiritual grooves, and modal masterpieces that capture the essence of NABEL’s golden years. Monika Linges’ contributions shine with her rich harmonies and heartfelt compositions, while John Thomas & Lifeforce deliver a perfect storm of fiery instrumentation and deep soul. Maria João’s early recordings showcase her extraordinary vocal range, and Hipsters In The Zone bring a forward-thinking, acid jazz-infused perspective to the NABEL sound.

PANORAMA Records is a London-based label dedicated to unearthing and reintroducing rare and essential music to new generations. With a focus on jazz, funk, and global grooves, the label has built a reputation for high-quality reissues that capture the spirit of the originals while providing fresh context for today’s listeners. Their past releases have garnered support from tastemakers like Gilles Peterson, Patrick Forge, and Mr Bongo DJs.

Tresor resident DJs LNS and DJ Sotofett have for some years been developing a style at the club‘s Globus floor, and their new EP is a die cut of exactly the classic techno, electro, and house music they play.
Here are no productions drenched in reverb, no hi-fi obsessions or generic algorithmic patterns – this is Globus Trax, the duo's third release on Tresor Records, four tracks consisting of real TR-909 workouts, rude and driving basslines, live runs through the mixing desk, and a Blake Baxter cover version with LNS on vocals.
LNS & DJ Sotofett programmed an EP to perfectly fit their warehouse style of DJing, bringing out colour and variation in a spectrum more similar to a club compilation than a dogmatically reduced concept. With a single repeated vocal sample, Globus Trax opens bombastically with ClickClickClick, a dub -infused UK garage house track anyone in the world can easily describe in the course of a second.
Following this comes Gearbox which is a hefty slab of big room electro featuring a centerpiece arpeggio and the warmest harmonic pads on the EP's four tracks, which not-so-subtly makes reference to the pioneering band that shares a name with Globus and Tresor's home, the Kraftwerk.
The house vibe returns on Destination 909, which is nothing but a manifesto for the TR-909, where the beloved drum machine's jacking beats meet galactic strings and synthetic bass, only to be ripped apart in a slamming break that sees the machine take centre stage as it cuts in-and-out of the mix, again a clear nod to the duo’s sets in the club.
LNS steps up on vocal duties and DJ Sotofett keeps the 909 running for their final cut, taking a deeper dive into the realms of classic techno and paying tribute to “The Prince of Techno” Blake Baxter by covering his Reach Out originally released on Tresor Records in 1995.
The 12” was cut by DJ Sotofett himself at Manmade Mastering, where he resurrects the lost art of late-90s loud cuts with sonic presence and punch, optimal for the club-focused 12” format, and is the first to come in the new Tresor Sleeve, boasting an embossed logo on either side.

Over the past few years Eskimo Recordings have invited some of thebest crate diggers around to curate compilations that don't just reveal the hidden contents of their record bags but something about themselves too. Now, following in the footsteps of the likes of Bill Brewster and Psychemagik, producer, musician, DJ, writer and more, Richard Norris, takes us on a globetrotting psychedelic journey with the epic 42 track collection, Mr Norris Changes Brains.

For over forty years Richard has played a part in many of the UK's most important music subcultures. Whether sharing stages with the likes of Tracey Thorn as a pubescent punk in St. Albans, or running freakbeat nights in Liverpool and working at the pioneering psychedelic label Bam Caruso, co-producing the UK's first acid house inspired LP with Throbbing Gristle's Genesis P. Orridge or riding the wave of creativity that the second summer of love unleashed all the way to the Top of the Pop studios as The Grid, Richard's career has continually seen him work to expand both his own and the public's musical horizons.

With Mr Norris Changes Brains it's the most recent part of his mercurial career that he's focused on. Drawing inspiration from his post 2006 adventures as one half of Beyond the Wizard's Sleeve, alongside Trash's Erol Alkan, this compilation shows how a more connected world has blown the dust off a paradoxically sometimes straightjacketed scene. The result is a dizzyingly wide-ranging collection that explores the further out there reaches of worldwide psychedelia and dancefloor mayhem.

"A lot of these tracks are fairly recent discoveries, things that I've discovered from around the time I started working with Erol and going right up to today," Richard explains. "Whether that's from going out to play and finding new records in places like Istanbul or just connecting with people online from all around the world. Psych can sometimes be a sort of narrow-minded field, with everything having to sit in its specific niche, but more and more people are open to new sounds and that's allowed for a much broader selection."

Despite their disparate origins what does unite these tracks is that they aren't just there to zone out to on a bean bag as projections of swirling coloured oils and psychedelic patterns wash over you. Mr Norris may change brains but his DJ sets also move feet, and whether it's their killer guitar riffs, oscillating synths floor shaking drums or soulful Hammond organs these are all cuts that from festival tents to underground clubs have proven time and time again to get people dancing.

"With a lot of these tracks there's a kind of fun element in them," says Richard. "It's still psychedelia, but they've also got these solid, funky grooves. They sound phenomenal on the dancefloor and as much as these records might excite old psych heads, this compilation is also for a new generation out there who might have never heard anything like this before and, just like when I was 18 and heard The 13th Floor Elevators for the first time, think 'Oh, my God, what on earth is this and more importantly what else is out there?'"

Archeo delights us with this luscious and limited release featuring Quiroga's sleek jazz-house UFO "Snaporaz". This edition includes an exclusive extended version, a brand-new cut from the Neapolitan groover, and a completely cosmic overhaul from the mighty L.U.C.A. Operating at the nexus of future jazz, beatific electronics and deft house, Quiroga (Walter Del Vecchio to his nearest and dearest) has carved his own irresistible niche over the past two decades, gracing countless labels with nuanced body movers and forging his impressive Really Swing imprint, the original home to this melodic masterpiece. Tucked away on Del Vecchio's 2020 EP "Chords and Desire", the sunny and sultry Snaporaz fell foul of our communal pandemic preoccupation, missing out on the widespread acclaim, appreciation and ass-shaking it so richly deserves. Archeo steps in as patron, giving this Rhodes-led jazz-house heater the full 12" treatment it was born for. On the A1, Quiroga's extends the ecstasy of "Snaporaz", stretching its original elements into a loosely grooving, dopamine-deep delight. Sunkissed keys and tender pads ride the rhythm of a bubbling bassline while the sophisticated percussion snaps, crackles and pops in the background - the perfect environment for the P&P leadline to flourish. If that wasn't enough to have you slipping straight into your party pumps, Walter makes the most of the extra runtime with a HOT hand drum freakout down the final stretch, adding the most enticing icing to an already heady cake. A comparative cooldown follows in A2 offering "Escorpião", a fusion-tinged flirtation for aperitivo everywhere. Cutting back on the kick to save space for the swing, Quiroga leads us through a sublime sequence of hooks, riffs and solos, without ever overwhelming the ears but keeping the groove alive. It's a dizzying delight from start to finish and features one of the finest keytar and cowbell interplays you're likely to hear. The B-side belongs to the frankly legendary Francesco de Bellis, a house, disco, Italo and electro hero, appearing here under his deliciously downbeat alias L.U.C.A. Imbuing Quiroga's original with the atmospheric stylings of his Edizioni Mondo oeuvre, the Roman producer delivers a radical rework, slowing the tempo by 20 bpm and translating those jazzy tones into a drifting new age dancer for the cosmic crowd. Zero gravity rhythms meet mystical melodies uptown as the house hippies get down. Lest we overlook the batshit brilliance of the drum programming, L.U.C.A. caps it off with a bonus beats version sure to delight DJs and dancers alike in its otherworldly oddness.

Mutual Rytm welcome back Swiss DJ/producer Chlär for a bustling, high-octane return as he unveils his latest six-track EP, 'Intrinsic Drive'.

Swiss artist and mastering engineer Chlär's last outing on Mutual Rytm, his 'Optimized Grooves' EP, was a standout success that made an impact far and wide across the techno realm. It was another big step for the fast-rising producer, who is also a dexterous DJ that plays across three and even four decks in the club. A craftsman of sounds, his take on techno is full throttle and has come on labels like Iceland's NIX and Stranger's Self Reflektion imprint. Always looking to improve his sounds, he hits a perfect sweet spot with a fresh and visionary approach across six fresh productions with his 'Intrinsic Drive' EP, again showcasing exemplary creative progression in his ever-impressing production skills.

Up first is 'Dopamine Rush', a quickened techno pumper with synths peeling off the straight-ahead drums and locking you into a state of hypnosis. The title track 'Intrinsic Drive' is a tightly woven mix of drums, hits and bass that never lets up, while the supple rhythm is overlaid with alien sound designs to up the intensity. 'For Marco' takes a heavier path with darkened and more weighty kick drums under eerie synth loops. There is a real swing in the drums of 'Steady Pace' as the crisp hits and vocal fragments all up the ante, before 'Greedy Man' delivers a tough panel beater with skewed synths and an industrial undertone. Digital bonus 'May I Dance?' rounds things out with raw textures and unhinged loops that take you to the heart of a strobe-lit dance floor, shaping up another
mighty fine statement of intent from the ever more vital Swiss native.

AJ Christou returns to Crosstown Rebels with his captivating two-tracker, ‘Desire’. Manchester-based favourite AJ Christou continues his impressive start to 2025 as he steps up for his first full release on Damian Lazarus’ revered Crosstown Rebels imprint with his latest two-track EP, ‘Desire’. An exciting name within the contemporary house landscape, Christou has earned his ever-rising reputation with releases via influential imprints such as Hot Creations, Paradise Music, Cuttin’ Headz and Fools Gold Records - collaborating with renowned names like A-Trak and Robert Owens - as well as his own V-House Sound imprint. Now, with ‘Desire’, the DJ/producer and label boss delivers a refined yet electrifying showcase of his sound, blending rolling grooves and subtle intricacies.Title track ‘Desire’ opens the release with its deep, pulsating basslines, crisp percussion, and a sultry vocal line that lures listeners into its infectious energy. Synth-pop duo Marina Zispin return with their highly anticipated album Now You See Me (Now You Don’t), set for release on March 7 via Scenic Route.

Now You See Me, Now You Don't is the continuing journey through the ever evolving sound of Marina Zispin AKA Bianca Scout and Martyn Reid. As with their previous EP - the recurring themes of Life and Death loom heavily over the 10 album tracks. Irish producer and DJ Casper Hastings returns to the label in full force with a 6-track EP titled “Recreational Murder”, unleashing a lethal mutation of electro, techno and jungle, the release showcases Casper’s versatility as an artist who garners clear-cut expertise in his field.

Nodding to its foreboding title, “Tangerine Meme” follows suit with an increased pace, woven together by squelchy synth work, wobbly bass and a gnawed up vocal scattered throughout.

“Reaper” lands with a pitched-up vocal riff opening the track; the word LSD later echoing through the ghostlike atmosphere laid out by a snappy pattern of snares and smoggy distortion. Peder Mannerfelt’s remix of the track comes as a curveball and flips the B-Side of the record, upending the previously understated but ominous tone with thundering drums, whiplike percussion and in-your-face high velocity.

“Ruthless Romance” continues on the rapid tip, this time highlighting Caspers long-running love for jungle. With a spirited UKG-tinged sample layered over clattering drums and hardcore bass lines with the celebrated genre, this is the track that brings a chunk of quick escapism. The deconstructed “Good Medicine” closes the record with the return of stabbing bleeps, intense kicks and swirling psychedelics accompanied by a grunt-heavy sample to reflect the EP's theme a sense of dread lurking behind every corner. Looping full circle to that initial cinematic feel, the final track / digital bonus “Akashita” marks his solo instalment on the label with palpable effect.

Iam JDP ended up as the second limited edition vinyl release on the German underground label Freebreakz.FWD. Embracing influences from Chicago's Footwork x Juke sound as well as UK Bass Music, IDM and other electronic subcultures Sascha Müller and baze.djunkiii deliver a sparse, tense and wildly hypnotic take on the 160 bpm freeform movement, continously fusing and layering intermingling rhythmic patterns with ethereal vocal snippets, Trap- and Drill-infused hi-hats, an ever floating minimalist synth motif and deadly low end attacks for some of the most advanced dancefloors out there.
