With releases on Brooklyn’s Major Records and UK imprints Non Stop Rhythm and Indulgence, DJ Split is a breakthrough producer putting his own stamp on the classic Chicago house sound. For his Shadow Pressings debut he has conjured up five original club cuts that will work their magic on any dance-floor worth it’s salt.

Last Night Baby sets the tone with taught 909 beats, punchy bassline stuttering vocal hits. Piano chords and a smattering of melodic chimes and just the right amount of musicality without taking away any of the raw energy and turbo-charged grunt. Treading a similar path but upping the BPM’s, XNXX goes for the jugular with gnarly FM bassline and frenetic groove.

Flip over for Can I Tell You? which goes a little deeper with a rolling bassline, filtering Detroit pads and strings whilst Step For brings touches of acid, banging 909 toms and vocal chops. Closing out the EP we have One In A Life Time which turns up the jack factor with snappy 808 snares, mechanical bass line and deep stabs. DJ Split is a man on a mission to bang the party and has come prepared with his piñata fully loaded with big, fat beats n basslines.

Olsvangèr joins Craigie Knowes with ‘The Core’ EP. 4 sophisticated club tracks spanning the spectrum of the Olsvangèr sound. From bumping house on the title track ‘The Core’ to darker club atmospherics on ‘Goldman’s Propeller’ and outright techno bounce on ‘Lunar Kiss Baby Whale’. The record is rounded out with the blissed-out breaks of ‘Lava Luva’. A truly spectacular and versatile record to cover all points in the night, get some!

One year on from the release of the critically acclaimed 'Breathe... Godspeed' for Bristol's Timedance, Verraco - aka JP López - returns to announce Basic Maneuvers, his debut for XL Recordings.

Sonically, the project reflects this physical and emotional shift from the more introspective beauty of Medellín to the vibrant energy of Colombia's capital, Bogotá. Basic Maneuvers reflects movement — between scenes, sounds, and cities — pushing forward Verraco's cross-culture sound; one that collides South American dembow rhythms with maximalist synths, UK soundsystem bass culture, meticulous IDM sound design, with the intensity and precision of techno.

Across the EP, he expands his range with the main single, a powerful 4x4 club-ready edgy banger, a dubbed-out stepper "Total" and "sobe sobe", a grime-infused collaboration with legendary Kenyan-Ugandan rapper affiliated to Nyege Nyege, MC Yallah, that celebrates the deep-rooted connection between the underground dancefloors of Africa and South America. Basic Maneuvers is a bold statement of intent from one of electronic music's most vital and exciting producers.

R.A.N.D. Muzik welcomes Berlin’s 11:68PM to the label for an EP of
dub-infused tech house.

His 2019 debut LP ‘For The Ones...' saw Yelfris delving deep into his Yoruba religion and its shamanic chants, subtly infusing those deeply personal elements with electronica and live instrumentation creating a beautiful pulsating soundscape. In purposefully mutating the acoustic sound of his trumpet he adds depth without losing his power and tenderness. Manifesting an adventurous and experimental shift in his composition, drawing on his classical training and love of jazz whilst at the same time delving further into the world of electronica. With the LP’s impressive palette of epic, cosmos-weaving trumpet melodies, fuzzy keys and psychedelic textures at their disposal, Quantic, K15, LCSM, Osunlade, Maxwell Owin, Contours repurpose and rework some of the album’s key moments, bringing an injection of dancefloor - friendly sensibilities to the proceedings.
With this offering, Yelfris’ incredible musicianship is re-contextualised for a new audience, making itself right at home on the dancefloors of the world.

Two long-awaited tracks which hold a special place in the label’s soundsystem, rich with rhythms and encouraging melodies: morning hours synthy Phoenix by the Ukrainian scene godfather Borys and a bassy, Memphis-like, minimalistic techno from Unai Trotti hiding under the new alias Yzer, on the flip side.

M-Scape is a solo project by Japanese DJ/producer/remixer Makoto Nakatani.

Urban Reconstruction is a release that blends House, Techno and Broken-Beat in a very skilful way.

The title track is, dare we say, a Los Hermanos sounding track that holds both the energy and harmonies Gerald Mitchell would produce.
'I Do' is house on a broken beat tip while 'Freedom' got more of the M-Scape sound fusing House, Jazz and Techno.

Ending the EP is 'Let The Drums Play' which is not far from what electronic-Jazz pioneer Mark de Clive-Lowe does and a great way to end an EP that makes a stellar debut on Local Talk.

House Music label Ascension on Wax are proud to present AOW003 - Toronto Hustle & Sean Roman - The Unity EP. This duo have had a real buzz to them of late with strong releases on Wolf, Local Talk and Freerange this past year. Now with AoW, this is another EP which truly delivers for the House heads.
Side A is complimented by vocals from Detroit legend Jovonntte, and a mesmerising remix by 90's Deep House pioneer Abacus. Side B is for those deeper, early morning hours with a hard-hitting dub mix followed by a Deep House roller. This versatile release is for those with a love for that iconic 90's US East Coast sound.
Support from Franck Roger, Dj Deep, Dam Swindle, Philippa, Felipe Gordon amongst may others.

Following on from the heritage-focused Iliads Series, Andy returns to the musical style that he developed across his previous 3 E.P.s on the label; where dark breakbeat Jungle-Noire meets Drum & Bass.

The E.P. features 3 tracks; two darker Jungle-Noire breakbeat-focused tracks complimented by a rather special Jazz-infused track that has a poignant political message.

Record is limited to 100 copies, numbered on sleeve

Spectrums Data Forces returns to New Flesh Records 15 years after his debut on the french label. Following the "Exodus"(NF02) and "Reencarnacion" (NFLTD05) releases, Granada based Jose Maria Moreno Vega proudly presents the "Trinity EP", a collection of groundbreaking mayhems characterized by powerful basslines, intricate drum programming, and dystopian atmospheres.
Pounding electro "form900" opens A side with a captivating track where arpeggiated melodies fuse into retro modern vibes in SDF typical signature. The invasion has begun!!
This well-crafted tune comes with a devastating remix from NF mastermind. Umwelt unveils of pure distinctive and instinctive analog beast, merging techno to electro-driven rhythms. Merciless!
B side kicks off with outstanding "Mind restore". Written under SDF techno side project C-System, this 4/4 monster of a track alternates between eerie atmosphere, IDM touches and futuristic sororities.
Last but not the least "7H3 F4M1LY" from 7053M4R14 (another Spectrum Data Forces moniker) reveals subtle and crystal clear stabs over groovy yet dancefloor broken rhythms.
Rarely has a release ever stuck so much to the world of New Flesh Records. Rush on it!

The second release on Afalinas sees Olekhar channeling house textures through tech-funk rhythms, accented by acid and electro influences. A fresh take for the dancefloor.

Planet E looks to the heart of Detroit’s club culture for the debut appearance on the label from Motor City mainstay, Mister Joshooa. A DJ and sound engineer closely intertwined with the city’s music scene, regularly found behind the decks at clubs like TV Lounge and Lincoln Factory and having previously appeared on Carl Craig’s celebrated Detroit Love compilation, ‘Settle Down’ introduces four tracks that cement Mister Joshooa’s lucid, far-out take on house.

Lead track ‘Settle Down’ distills the energies and influence of the scene into a rubber-jointed, rolling introduction that vibrates with energy and anticipation, nailing a bassline that could run for hours and injecting trippy effects, live percussion and out-there vocals drawing in dancers. ‘Snake Oil’ meanwhile strips things way back, squeezing plenty of juice for the floor from a tunnelling, lightly psychedelic arrangement, offering bang-for-buck deepness that’s no scam.

‘Stop Me’ continues to drive Mister Joshooa’s productions in even wonkier, even mysterious directions, its oscillating crawl and hypnotic melody primed to create a heady atmosphere, giving surreal or even sinister, depending on each dancer’s perspective. Finally, ‘Step Up’ offers the roughest, readiest ride to close, where classic drum machine programming reverberates against throbbing sonics and all manner of analogue weirdness, transforming into an outsider techno stepper from the darker side.

Peletronic comes back on Fortunea Records with another great 4-tracker! After his successful Hazy Jane EP and the broken beat contribution ‚Goldfinch’ on the latest 10 year anniversary compilation, he delivers us four brand-new contemporary and intensive cuts on here. Restless, the title-track of this record, is a sub driven deep house work out with boasting swelling loops and an irresistible vocal sample. Afterwards dreamy acid lines and energetic drum patterns prepare you for several ‚Timeless Travels’. ‚Malibu Orange’ on the B-side captures the elusive late-hours in the morning. And the record ends with the minimal flamboyant beats of ‚1160 Dub'. A lovely homage to his favorite district in the Austrian capitol. The Restless EP will come out on the 23rd of may. This record is limited to 200 copies. There will be no repress!

Co-Accused are back for their first release of 2025 with a dose of raw and relentless techno from one of Glasgow’s most solid of underground forces Fear-E. 9 Darter EP presents four slabs of peak-time pressure, polished with the refined edge of the Posh End Music boss’s production. No surprise this EP is in parts inspired by the sounds of UK techno legend Dave Angel and in others of the general free-wheeling ethos of the 90s - feeling as relentless as a basement session in that golden era.

Fear-E has built a reputation as a beacon of putting out high quality club tracks through his career, releasing on the likes of Dame Music, Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and Dark Entries, while also running his own imprint Posh End Music alongside its hardcore-driven sister label Breakbeat Energy. His records are regularly supported by the likes of Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, The Hacker, Randomer, Jerome Hill, Marcel Dettmann, and James Ruskin, with airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music.

The third vinyl EP from Vision Collective Recordings based in Cork City Ireland contains
four new tracks by four different artists/producers covering various styles within the deep
house, electronic music & house music spectrum

Born at Theme Ltd, one of London’s most exciting new music studios in the heart of Camden, ‘Driver’s Seat’ is an unapologetically bold and enduring work. MICHAEL, staying true to his name, delivers a debut project that is authentic and unfiltered, offering a glimpse into his true self. Staying true to the ethos of Theme Ltd, he channels his optimistic spirit into tracks that radiate hope and possibility. ‘Driver’s Seat’ combines infectious raw technique with a mesmeric, intimate journey into the mind of a true artist. The collaboration with Theme Ltd is unmistakable, evident in the crisp precision of the audio. This is elevated by the use of their new Live Studio, acoustically treated to perfection by audio legend Paul Gilleron, who also lent his expertise to iconic venues like the O2 and Roundhouse.

‘Drivers Seat’ opens with ‘In The Rain,’ where veteran vocalist Chili graces the track with her soothing yet powerful voice, perfectly complementing a timeless R&B instrumental reminiscent of Anita Baker / Patrice Rushen. MICHAEL uses this introduction to immerse listeners in his musical utopia. The next track, ‘Drivers Seat’—the project's namesake—oozes effortless cool, with a memorable chorus and a captivating melody that leaves listeners both intrigued and enamoured by the enigmatic MICHAEL character. The B side continues the motif of positive self-expression and praise with ‘Satisfaction’ an optimistic celebration of love. The prospect of joy is more ambiguous in the ultimate track ‘And I Love You’ cruising down an infectious baseline, crafted in collaboration with resident producer Theme, the soft beautiful vocals take us to the natural end of a uniquely wonderful debut project.

12-inchers from Dublin disco messers Fatty Fatty only come along once in a while, but this summer they've got 2 biggies lined up for festival messing, sunset disco joy and eyes-down dirty basement feel...

Pablo and Shoey's 'Raw Human Emotion' EP features 3 tracks never before seen on vinyl and showcases the range of their productions neatly. First up you've got 'Raw Human Emotion Part 2', a track they provided for a Paper Disco compilation many moons ago. Chopping up sections of an old disco-soul stomper and getting deep inside the loops before rising to a joyous hands in the air climax, this is a peak-time winner that brings everyone together.

Flip over for two lost gems from the 'Do It Backwards' EP for Sprechen, which got lost in the chaos of the first Covid lockdown.

'Shoey's Acid Trip' is a peak time, hands aloft, laser reacher - acid preacher style slammer that builds like a bastard, while Pablo's 'Air Raid Dub' of the title track melds a wonky as heck bassline with a wicked boogie breakdown before slamming back in, rave sirens and all. Serious 3am tackle all round...And the likes of Justin Robertson and Severino of Horse Meat Disco agreed at the time, with the latter proclaiming 'Now this is something different...'. The whole EP fits that bill, and should do some serious damage around the place this summer...

This special EP is like a MixTape, a melt of old school sound (Forward Di Ravoltion" (A1) or "ZMK001" (B2), plusLive Set recorded... Actually this is the feeling i got when listening to it...
A question "chat is a live set" is asked here.

There are some special records... Singularity is the subject. more than ever !

ENJOY !

Mr. Computer sees two figureheads of Dutch electronics pay homage to the voice of electro disco, the vocoder. Figi and Luca dell’Orso team up to sing praise of a tool that has crossed genres and styles and give the little metal larynx deserved limelight on their own three track theatre. Rumbling bass is shot through with crisp snaps in the title piece, warbling vocals rising as keys dance in this wonderful collaboration.

Production across the 12” is beautifully clean and sharp, allowing the rich analogue sound and robotic lyrics to be fully appreciated. Of course, as happens with the vocoder, those lyrics are just that shade of bittersweet. That brooding quality is used to full effect by Luca dell’Orso in “Fire with Fire”. A bold and daring melody is countered by a tale flecked with sorrow, the brightness and immersion of synths contrasted by the filtered and fractured human voice. Figi flies solo for the finale. “Moonlight (Vocoder Version)” dips words in a thick mechanical syrup, a story of burning love recanted to moonbeam rinses and bending disco bars.

A true celebration of man and machine.

Mr Hellfish invites Drokz for a ride !

Distant Victory is a tribute to the darker sounds with a touch synth-pop sound that embodied his previous releases in the years; The song carries forward the themes of the human condition in a pessimistic outlook that began with the LP ‘Soft Power’ in 2015.

For its latest release, Last Year in Marienbad welcomes back French producer Moonee, who delivers an EP brimming with his signature blend of euphoric and emotive grooves.

One of François Lefevre’s main aliases, Moonee explores the airier side of dance music, crafting deeply immersive sonic experiences that evoke introspection and escapism. While initially focused on deep house, his sound has evolved across recent releases, particularly on his Sandquest LP for OATH. His finely curated approach highlights fluid, intuitive soundscapes that invite repeat listens.

His new EP, Brotherhood, is perhaps his most refined and carefully poised work to date. The title track’s Glitched version opens with a sense of urgency, combining a stepping garage beat, lo-fi vocal snippets, and deep basslines. Existenzfollows, elevating four-on- the-floor energy with intricate rhythmic textures and a rich, orchestral-like melodic palette. Panorama rounds off the EP’s initial arc with playful vocal samples and an uplifting bassline—perfect for late-night city wanderings.

Closing out the release, Oath affiliate Moomin reinterprets the title track with an electro-infused remix. More understated than the original, his version builds gradually, offering a masterclass in energy control. For those seeking enriching grooves, entrancing melodies, and warmth, Brotherhood delivers. It’s a journey through electronic currents, shifting effortlessly between moments of calm and surging energy—press play and dive in.

"The Lost EP" is back on vinyl for the first time in almost four decades, a cornerstone of New Zealand's 'Dunedin Sound' of the 1980s. Faithfully restored with original artwork and insert, the EP is pressed on single yellow vinyl, still running at 45rpm and features six tracks of sublime pop from the pen of The Chills' mainstay Martin Phillipps. "The songwriter that helped kick off indie rock as we know it." NPR. Originally released in 1985, after the master tapes had been mislaid for 12 months, "The "Lost" EP' is the perfect mix of Phillipps' pop sensibilities and his often-dark lyrics. Doffing a cap to dream pop, garage punk, psychedelic whimsey and old school indie along the way, it's a band truly finding themselves. "Even at his most cynical, the tone of Phillipps' voice and the major-chord bounce of the music makes him sound in love with the world." The Guardian. 1000 copies worldwide

Marking their first release on Zodiak Commune Records, Minimum Syndicat unleashes the Revelation EP, a powerful showcase of electro on the first side and acid techno mastery on the flip side.
Featuring the hypnotic electro-driven "Knowing That We Know Nothing" and the collaborative acid techno powerhouse "Disclosures" with Voiron, this EP is a bold statement.
Belgian acid virtuoso G303 transforms "Knowing That We Know Nothing" and "Disclosures" into high-octane journeys, layering hypnotic 303 acid lines, pulsating bass, and intricate rhythmic structures.
A definitive release for fans of deep acid grooves and cutting-edge electro!

The 11th release on Random Vinyl finds Pax Romax featuring Brian Ice paying to respect to an original masterpiece while also serving it up for a new generation of ears. First up is the extended remix of 'Fade To Grey' which is a deep and cosmic disco workout with libidinous vocals. '2067' is a second production by Pax Romax that layers up jittery arps and twirling pads with a low-slung disco groove. The "Steve's Strange mix" is a codeine paced retro-future disco trip with standout synths and the Master Mix is more airy with lush pads up top was made by the late great Marc Hartman who passed away in August 2024 at only 58 years of age and serves as "Marc's epic swan song as we say, in Dutch," explains his label partner.

Necro State dives deep into emotional liminality — a space where anxiety, disconnection and introspection merge into a dark, immersive soundscape.

Across six tracks, NOAMM crafts a narrative that moves between restrained tension and cathartic release, drawing the listener into an inner journey that lingers long after the signal fades.

The Forest Is The Path‘ Onwards To The Endless’ veröffentlicht.
