"Atrocity Exhibition" ist der neueste Höhepunkt in einer langen Serie von Highlights: Im Verlauf der letzten Jahre hat Danny Brown mit vielen hochkarätigen Künstlern von Purity Ring bis Rustie, von ScHoolboy Q via E-40 bis hin zu Ghostaface Killah gearbeitet. Für den Posse-Track "Detroit vs. Everybody" tat er sich mit Eminem, Dej Loaf, Royce da 5'9', Big Sean und Trick Trick zusammen, und auch den legendären The Avalanches lieh er für ihr Comebackalbum dieses Jahr seine Stimme. Da er auf "Atrocity Exhibition" kein Blatt vor den Mund nimmt und gewissermaßen die hochprozentige Essenz seines kreativen Ansatzes herausdestilliert, hat Danny auch die Wahl der Gäste ganz genau darauf abgestimmt: Ihren schlangenhaften Gesang steuert Kelela im Fall des wahnsinnig finsteren "From The Ground" bei, mit B-Real von Cypress Hill ist ein alter Hanf-Fachmann für die tiefentspannte Hook von "Get Hi" verantwortlich, und mit Earl Sweatshirt, Kendrick Lamar und Ab-Soul treten gleich drei junge Hochkaräter für das ominös schillernde "Really Doe" zu ihm ans Mikrofon, die er derzeit für die besten Rapper hält, die es momentan gibt.

Rico found an old painting from his childhood and set it to music as he remembered the infantile feels behind those moments of painting over 30 years ago. While perfectly fitting the label's idea of presenting EXHIBITIONs, this interdisciplinary time travel truly grew into some unique and remarkable music...

Different Exhibition presents its first vinyl release masterfully crafted by talented Italian producer N:CK. My Turn is a blend of powerful and refined tracks fit for the most sophisticated dancefloors. All this is embellished with a brilliant remix by techno legend Dasha Rush.

Steven Osborne hat sich zu einem der bedeutendsten Pianisten der heutigen Zeit entwickelt. Seine Gesamtaufnahme der Rachmaninow-Präludien wurde von der Kritik als die beste moderne Interpretation seit
Ashkenazy gefeiert. Nun widmet er sich weiteren Meilensteinen des russischen Repertoires mit dieser Aufnahme von Mussorgskys „Bilder einer Ausstellung“ und einer Sammlung von Prokofjew-Miniaturen.
Mussorgskys Meisterwerk ist eines der beliebtesten programmatischen Werke des 19. Jahrhunderts. Es
stellt jedoch auch eine große pianistische Herausforderung dar, da die spektakulären Klangtexturen des
Höhepunkts „Das große Tor von Kiew“ höchste technische Fertigkeiten erfordern.
David Fanning schreibt über Prokofjews „Visions fugitives“: „Prokofjew liefert Momentaufnahmen seiner
charakteristischsten Stimmungen – mal grotesk, mal beschwörend und mystisch, mal einfach poetisch, mal
aggressiv selbstbewusst, mal so feinfühlig ausbalanciert, dass Interpret und Zuhörer sich selbst ein Urteil
bilden können.“ Osbornes subtiler und zugleich brillanter Umgang mit Klangfarben und Charakterisierung
macht ihn zum idealen Interpreten dieser Sammlung.
Diese 180-Gramm-LP, gemastert von Sidney Claire Meyer in den Emil-Berliner-Studios, ist Teil der „2026
Vinyl Edition“ von Hyperion.

The album is a conceptual work presented as an exhibition of inner emotions, told from the perspective of the Artisan: an artist seeking to express through sound what cannot be put into words.

Musically,An Artisan's Exhibitionis rooted in emotional, passionate and distinctive Frenchcore. The sound is intense yet intimate, driven by untamed energy but crafted with warmth, care and love. Rather than focusing solely on aggressive sounds or speed, the album emphasizes feeling and expression, using Frenchcore as a vessel for storytelling and emotional release. The story follows a journey from misunderstanding and exclusion to despair, anger, and ultimately insight. What begins as an uncomprehended message evolves into a confrontational struggle with emotions, where anger proves to be a misleading response. Only through learning to express his feelings does The Artisan discover his true purpose.

Lake & Palmer als Re-Release auf Vinyl.

Originally released in 1971, ‘Pictures At An Exhibition’ is the legendary live album by English Progressive Rock titans, Emerson, Lake & Palmer which charted at number 3 upon its original release in the UK. This is a 140g Black vinyl repress of the album to get this back into market for 2025.
