Its his first album since the 2000 release (Sondag) on Paper Recordings RePap offshoot

Last year's single 'Wonder' feat Kurt Maloo on the label was a day one sell out here at All Ears and marked a significant maturing of Rune's trademark sound.
The influence of Norway on the world's forward thinking Disco scene & beyond is more than evident, with countrymen like Todd Terje, Prins Thomas and Hans Peter Lindstrom
all leading the charge for years now. The creative cauldron of the infamous 'club in a public toilet' Skansen has much to answer for !

Krasava is a very much vocal led project, with a cast of featured vocalists which includes Norwegian popstar Anneli Drecker alongside recent collaborator Øyvind Blikstad.
The album is steeped in Norwegian folklore, visually and musically and the gentle lilt of the Norse/Balearic sound, sits comfortably alongside more Cosmic flavours, Rock and beautifully crafted pop.

Hypnotischer Tiefgang kann auch hell und freundlich sein, wie Marcus Sur einmal mehr unter Beweis stellt. Da ist das stimulierende Pochen und entrückte Klingeln von The World In Small Doses. Da ist die hintergründige Dramatik und perfide Vielschichtigkeit von Masquerade. Da ist die verträumte Stimme von Ann Jasmund, die sich über den warmen Wogen eines wabernderen Klangteppichs ausbreitet. Und da ist der verspielte Basslauf von Magnetic Ribbons, dessen schwerelose Synthesizer- und Piano-Zitate Mollono.Bass zwischen die perkussiven Rhythmen seines wundersamen Frequenz-Universums entführt. Das dubbig glitzernde Original gibt es als Zugabe für die Digital-Version. Leicht verdaulich und doch sehr gehaltvoll - wie gute Musik für den Sommer sein sollte!

Jackmaster Cunt EP is the 5th release from Sound Black. Its a departure from the Lady Blacktronika's signature slo mo sound taking us on a journey into jack. She's got 4 deep groove laden tracks here to please the hardest of deepcore house fans and the deepest of hardcore house heads. The tracks here borrow largely from the sounds of Chicago and New York/New Jersey in the 90s, sounds near her heart. These are the roots revisited and brought back to the future of house.

Sometimes things trun out different than planned. That also applies for remixes one does for other labels: "The Lost Remixes" features two personal favourite Remixes by Sascha Dive, now seeing a release on Vinly for the first time.

Fantastic new LP on Pin Cushion Records featuring eight superb tracks of the finest funky rock, folk and soul. The A side kicks off with the awesome funky monster 'Save Me', an absolute dancefloor bomb with slamming b-line from Nanette Workman's self titled 1976 LP. Next up is the super funky 'Lucky Lost Sin', a wicked female vocal funk-folk-jazz cut that also works well in the clubs, followed the great uplifting vibe of Rory Block's 'Lovin' Of Your Life'. Closing this side we have the wonderfully laid-back 'Santa Cruz Mountains' taken from Eddie Callahan's hugely in-demand and impossible to find 'False Ego' LP. The flip side features the excellent 'Spill The Wine', a great Rhodes-driven workout from Eric Burden's WAR, followed by David Amram's 'Message To The Politicians of the World', a killer spoken word track over a sweet melody. Next up is Friends Of Distinction's 'Light My Fire', an amazing funky cover of the Doors' classic taken from their rare 1969 Highly Distinct LP and last but not least a cool breezy summer groover from Bay Area band Kingfish whose lineup included the legendary Bob Weir, founder member of The Grateful Dead. A superb selection of tracks, not to be missed.
