To celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their 7th album from 23 October, 2001 (their last with Brant Bjork), Fu Manchu is releasing California Crossing 25th Anniversary Edition. Recorded at the legendary Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California by the band and Matt Hyde (DEFTONES, SLAYER, MONSTER MAGNET), California Crossing is the band’s most commercially successful release. The 11 song collection includes “Mongoose” (as seen in a Toyota Super Bowl commercial, Sons of Anarchy, The Hot Chick, Boondock Saints II and more), “Squash That Fly” (their most successful radio single), “Bultaco” (featuring vocals by The Circle Jerks’ Keith Morris) and fan favorites “Separate Kingdom,” “Hang On” and the title track. Übertragen auf den freigeistigen Jazzrock der Band Kuhn Fu: Die Musik auf dem neuen Album "Katastrofik Kink Machine" springt mit Begeisterung und Verve zwischen Grün und Rot hin und her, und lässt die laue Mitte aus. Dem Wort Jazzrock haftet etwas Altbackenes an: Musik, in der seelenlose Virtuosität den Spirit und die Unmittelbarkeit ersetzt hat. Even before they made it to the record bins, three-man New York crew Fu-Schnickens created quite a buzz in the hip-hop community with the oddity of their group name. Once they dropped their debut album, F.U. Don't Take It Personal, their music turned out to be every bit as curious and intriguing.

F.U. Don't Take It Personal is the debut studio album from American hip hop group Fu-Schnickens, released February 25, 1992. Recording sessions for the album took place at Battery Studios in New York, New York.

The album peaked at number sixty-four on the Billboard 200 chart. By late 1992, it was certified gold by the RIAA, for shipping 500,000 copies in the United States. The album spawned three popular singles, including Ring The Alarm', True Fuschnick' and La Schmoove'.

In The Village Voice, Robert Christgau praised
Fu-Schnickens' ideas and illusory rhymes, calling the group 'rappers whose visions of fun, agape, and aural conquest remain open-ended, playful, and, face it, silly'.

Recorded at Grandmaster Studios in Hollywood, California by the band and Brian Jenkins (KYUSS, SCREAMING TREES), "In Search Of_" is considered a classic of the '90s and a pillar for the "stoner rock" movement. Highlights include the lead single "Asphalt Risin'," "Redline" and fan favorite "Cyclone Launch." This limited edition 2,000 unit run is pressed on Red Blue Vinyl & Custom Night Sky Vinyl with each LP in a printed sleeve with never before seen images and the gatefold package design includes never before seen photos of the band. When hip hop trio FU-Schnickens emerged in Brooklyn in 1992 with a unique style that combined high-speed rapping, dancehall chatting, and backward rhymes with Looney Tunes-inspired voice impressions and craftily arranged grooves, the Rap world had never heard anything like it.

Following up on their debut F.U.: Don't Take It Personal, Nervous Breakdown, originally released in 1994, proved that the Fu-Schnickens could deliver the goods. The album shows an improved lyrical maturity among all three members, but most noticeably Chip Fu, whose hyperactive flow has more hilarious, colorful cartoon imagery than ever.

Godzilla’s/Eatin’ Dust is the most popular release in Fu Manchu’s 30 year recorded history. It is the combination of what were originally 2 distinct 10” releases: Godzilla (1997) and Eatin’ Dust (1999).In 2018, Scott Hill (vocals/guitar) found the original tapes from the Godzilla recording sessions produced by Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age/Kyuss) and unearthed a secret that had been in his garage since 1996...The band had recorded 4 songs that had never been released. These extra songs are early versions of "Grendel, Snowman," "Strolling Astronomer" and "Urethane” (whose final versions appeared on 1997’s The Action Is Go) and a cover of Thin Lizzy's "Jailbreak" (which is a different version than the one which was released on 7” in 1998). The songs line up perfectly with the original tracklist, which includes the band’s crowd pleasing cover of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Godzilla” and fan favourites “Eatin’ Dust” and “Mongoose” (which was featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Toyota and included in the TV series “Sons Of Anarchy” and the films “Boondock Saints II” and “The Hot Chick”).In 2019, the band released a 2,000 unit limited edition of this new version in a triple 10" package. Due to the continuing demand after this version sold out, in 2020 the band issued a new limited edition version of 1,500 units neon green and white splatter double 12" gatefold package with 2 sided insert including the previously unreleased tracks at 45 RPM for the heaviest audio possible. Five years later, they are finally doing a repress of this 45RPM double 12” version on white with brown splatter vinyl in a limited edition run of 2000 units.
