Born from psilocybin mushroom-focused retreats, ANOTR’s second album is
a bold exploration of krautrock, disco, alt-soul, and the deeply personal themes of self-discovery and connection. Featuring shimmering disco, hypnotic alt-soul, raw post-punk/krautrock, and uplifting indie dance, the album marks the duo’s most experimental and introspective work to date ahead of their world tour.

The album also features collaborations with GRAMMY-nominated Cuban artist Cimafunk, PAME, Kurtis Wells, Leven Kali, and Erik Bandt. Italian DJ and Producer Jo Paciello makes his debut on Groove Culture with 'The Jazz Syndicate' a stunning 10-track album melting House with Jazz. An album with warm sounds that takes us back to the good glory times of jazzy house. Trumpets, saxophones and guitars grooves dominate the minor chords of piano and rhodes. First release on Saucy Lady’s own new label Dippin’ Records features double sider smashers. Starting with the A side, cover of Carly Simon’s Why, a classic funk tune produced by Nile Rogers that got a fresh new boogie revamp, produced by Saucy Lady herself and Yuki “U-KEY” Kanesaka.

With a more dance-floor friendly up-tempo treatment, it will guarantee hands up in the air and hips moving round & round ‘n side to side.

Flip side is another heater, a cover of the 80s hit slow jam One More Time by Phil Collins but sped up and turned into broken beats flyness, followed with a deep house remix produced by Daisuke Miyamoto, member of Orienta-Rhythm who’s had numerous notable releases with King Street Sound.

B side ends with an acappella version so you too can play with your own creative version of the classic. With limited vinyl copies, you don’t want to sleep on this.

LKDNV 10 EP - Various Artists

More than a year after its last compilation, Amsterdam’s Locked-in returns with a glistening selection of club-ready tracks further anchoring the label’s progressive groove while opening avenues to different sounds and scenes.
Blending minimal techno and ambient aesthetics, Hamburg’s Rupert Marnie opens up the A-side with “Half-Baked Spel”, a mysterious yet dancefloor-ready cut elegantly setting the tone. Norwegian house and techno DJ and producer A:G (Asgeir Giskegjerde) follows up with an escape into trance influenced sounds, delivering a playful, ambitious and infectious bopper. On the flip-side, Barcelona-based Aniano takes things one notch deeper offering a dimmed light minimal groover. With its moody atmosphere and catchy samples, the track gracefully hints at Perlon's catalogue. To close the journey, Frog Dog Records crew member Slacks from Philadelphia takes the listener apart with a very subtle emotional break composition, crafting an intricate and moving piece of music reminiscing of good times.
With four tracks stemming from different parts of the world, Locked-In once again showcases the quality of its curation and the consistency of its sound and vision. This release is dimmed to resonate on both dark and sun-drenched dancefloors.

Z Records returns with a Hustle-tastic 12" to light up both your life and DJ sets. It's the boss himself Dave Lee who kicks off with his extended rework of a bonafide Brit Funk classic in the shape of Hi Tension's 'British Hustle'. Featuring David Josephs's signature vocals over the chugging Caribbean rhythm track, its a song that's never received an extended club mix from the tapes since its first release in 1978. His second cut is a Re-Wriggle of a Funky Worm volume pumping classic that becomes a fat-bottomed house jam with stomping brass, ear-worm vocal hooks and Latin inspired keys. "On the flip' (as they say) is Foreal People's 'Tango Hustle' - a driving clav heavy, jazz funk workout complete with chanting dance instructions over various solos. After years of silence dedicated to side projects, DJENA makes a triumphant return with his solo EP, In Motion. A testament to his passion for eclecticism, this release seamlessly bridges house and breakbeat, enriched by a stunning remix from the legendary French producer DJ W!LD.

The journey begins with the title track, In Motion, a hypnotic breakbeat composition where deep pads intertwine with tribal vocal elements, evoking raw emotion and sonic depth. Four new and ultra deep italo-deephouse cuts from Jacy aka Giacy Bozzi from Bari in Southern Italy.

Jacy is running his own label Home Of House Records and is well-known in his comfort-zone, the very Underground. May it be for his contributions to the amazing „Welcome To Paradise“ Compilation Series on Safe Trip, being featured on Volume I, II and III or his records on Kalahari Oyster or Hot Haus Records.

All of these come with Jacy signature sound– timeless and deep tunes to stay, intense balearic feels that guide you through the night and revive the golden-era of House music.

United by the same impetus, Luche and Laton Raver are two producers and DJs based in Nantes, coming from the free-party scene and members of Esprits Sauvages and Chat Manik. For that new Acid Avengers split EP, they deliver four tracks influenced by the acid sounds of their youth : tribe, doom, belgium old-school scene. Here is a dark and electrifying EP, hypnotic and catchy, for those who like dancing for hours with the feet in the mud and the head in the stars !

Over the last ten years, Brazil’s Millos Kaiser has cultivated a reputation as a top-ranking selector passionate about bringing his home country’s underappreciated music to the world. After starting as a punk and indie musician in Niterói, Rio de Janeiro, he turned his hand to DJing in the late 2000s and relocated to Sāo Paulo. There, he spent the 2010s rocking city squares, warehouse parties and street parties with DJ Trepanado in the Selvagem duo before cofounding the celebrated Selva Discos label in 2017.

Since 2019, Millos’s focus has shifted to his solo DJ career and ventures as an edit maker, reissue compilation curator, audiophile bar co-owner, and now producer. Planet Trip Records has been very good friends with Millos for a long time and is very pleased to present his first original release, the Te Quero Perto (I Want You Close) EP, available in vinyl and digital formats.

Assembled like a DJ-friendly 12” for late 20th-century nightclub specialists, Te Quero Perto kicks off with Millos’ original ‘club mix’ and an accompanying ‘instrumental’ version (digital.only). Driven by an uptempo machine beat straight out of the mid-'80s, rave pianos, 303 acid bass, and an explosive Brazilian pop vocal sung by Juju Bonjour, it’s an absolute belter of a tune and a masterclass in in-period styling.

Elsewhere on the EP, Millos’s European friends Lipelis & Orion Agassi turn in an equally belting Latin Freestyle remix in vocal, dub and instrumental mixes (instrumental is digital only). Rounding things out, fellow Rio de Janeiro producer Paco Cabana throws the tune into a cocktail shaker before pouring a sunkissed, percussion-heavy reimagining for us to sip on. Front to back, it’s an all-killer, no-filler debut from a generational talent.

The A-side puts the fun in a funky psychedelic disco stomper complete with sing-along chants and breakbeats. Imagine an overlooked KID CREOLE garage dub cut. The B-side is a fresh take on classic Italo disco with analog percussion, vintage synths and his own guitar and bass.

At this point, Southern Italy's Giovanni Damico is basically an honorary Windy City Native. I don't think he's ever been to Chicago
but he certainly has status on all sides of the City. Damico's collaborations with Chicago's Star Creature kicked have spanned the
better part of the last decade with just as many vinyl releases during that time spanning 2 LPs, 2 EPs, a handful of 7's and an appearance on the 2020's Star Creature Vibes label compilation not to mention the over 20+ 12's and a dozen appearances on labels ranging from MCDE, Lumberjacks in Hell to Kalakuta Soul, Bordelllo A Parigi, his own White Rabbit Recordings and more.
That perfect blend of Tracky Italo Early Drum Machine, Bang the Box type of Proto House Electro Soul with adventurous and ambitious beats and melody combos pulled from a range of global influencers, mixing of electronic and acoustic instruments giving some of the most full body unique compositions in dance music, each being accomplished, evolving and truly unique.
