"Repeat Until Funny" stellt Simon Frontzeks Rückkehr als Sir Simon nach zehn Fanherzen strapazierenden Jahren dar. Produziert ist das Album von Rudi Maier aka Burkini Beach, mit dem Simon Frontzek in den letzten Jahren ein Produzenten-Duo bildete und am gleichen Tag sein Album "Best Western" veröffentlichen wird. So ergibt das die völlig unerwartete und umso mehr willkommen geheißene Wiederkehr gitarrenbasierter Songs, die mit vielen befreundeten Musiker*innen wie Maria Taylor, Sven Regener, uvm. im gemeinsamen Kreuzberger Hinterhofstudio entstanden sind. Es klingt wie Bright Eyes mit einem zünftigen Schalk im Nacken oder Arcade Fire in ihrer Discophase, nur ohne das lästige Sendungsbewusstsein.

The Paradise Projex is a reunion of key original members of former 80s UK soul band Paradise. Co-founder, songwriter, musician and music director Phil Edwards joins musician and producer Karlos Edwards and lead singer Paul Johnson for this brand new entity made of some friends new and old. The outstanding quality and investment in the music remain the same. Paul Johnson features on “Feels Like Home” and a new take on the 1983 Paradise classic “One Mind, Two Hearts”. Behind The Dykes is a 2LP compilation presenting the best bands and artists the Dutch had to offer in the period 1964-1972. The Netherlands were the first non-English speaking country to storm the Billboard Hot
100 with a string of hit singles from bands such as Shocking Blue,
Focus, George Baker Selection, Golden Earring and Tee-Set. This
2LP presents the bands that followed closely behind, with singles and albums that internationally have become highly sought-after records. Some bands with a rich discography, others with no more than one or two singles under their belt. Original singles of many of these tracks are currently offered and/or sold for hundreds of Euros on Discogs, and many original pressings were so limited at the original time of release that they are impossible to find.

The album is released under the Decca brand with the classic logos and labels. The full color printed inner sleeves contain liner notes about each individual band with the original single artwork, while the inside of the gatefold sleeve contains photos of the artists featured on this album.

Jack Jones is a spoken word poet, singer and songwriter. He moonlights as lead
guitarist in Peter Doherty & The Puta Madres. BBC Radio produced a documentary portrait of Jack Jones & TRAMPOLENE, entitled ‘Another Swansea Poet’ in
2019. Jack writes about everyday life, his upbringing, and offers his own social
commentary on the world.

Malice Records was a short lived, but hugely popular gabber offshoot from Kniteforce Records back in the early 90s. Focused on a direct, uplifting but hard and nails sound, it incorporated big distorted kicks with furious amen breaks and ridiculous riffs. Malice returns for this limited release, with beautiful artwork and on its customary white vinyl, with original artist Dj Psycangle bringing two unreleased tracks, made in 1995, straight from DAT to vinyl, and two brand new tracks showing that while the years might have passed, the talent remains…

Natasha has been lighting up dance floors across the globe with her energetic and eclectic brand of underground disco and releasing her music on the likes of Tropical Disco Records, Midnight Riot, No Fuss Records, Masterworks Music, Paper Recordings and Tribe.

This hot 2 track EP features 'Ninja Dance' a rousing disco stomper demanding your dancefloor attention with it's 'Dance, dance, dance' refrain. This is followed by 'Cissy' with it's strong diva vocal, pounding beat and funky as hell bassline.

Having produced full albums for numerous buzzing names in the last couple of years, 38 Spesh has become recognized as one of the most prolific beatmakers in the new era of hardcore Hip-Hop. So, to mark this achievement, he has decided to start giving fans the instrumentals to their favorite songs with a new series titled Speshal Blends. The first volume of the series includes beats off of Che Noir's Thrill of the Hunt II, Flee Lord x 38 Spesh's Loyalty + Trust, 38 Spesh's 5 Shots EP, and more. The title of the series is a homage to MF DOOM’s classic instrumental collection, Special Blends. Following the release of their brand new fifth studio album ‘The Absolute Universe’, progressive rock supergroup Transatlantic are pleased to reissue their much-loved sophomore album ‘Bridge Across Forever’ on Gatefold 180g 2LP + CD & LP-booklet. Originally released in 2001, and this year celebrating its 20th anniversary, the album saw Neal Morse, Mike Portnoy, Roine Stolt and Pete Trewavas producing the epic compositions that have become their trademark. The album was ranked #5 on the Prog Report’s Top 50 Prog Albums from 1990-2015, and is still a favourite of fans to this day. It follows the recent vinyl reissue of the bands debut album ‘SMPTe’.

Fake Laugh & Tarquin first became acquainted a very long time ago, before they were either Fake Laugh or Tarquin. Two humans in their late teens with a keen interest in sound, they would indulge each other in whatever conversation they could muster while loitering in the corridors of their sixth-form college. Their place of learning existed in a sleepy Sussex town where once a year, the skies are filled with explosions, while burning effigies are carried through the cobbled streets by inebriated locals. The two did not suspect that much would become of their light friendship - but in good time that would all change…

In the years that followed, the two young artists moved to London and embarked upon their own totally distinct musical journeys - Fake Laugh was playing in venues with ‘rock bands’, while Tarquin was carving out a niche for himself in the bubbling, lava-like instrumental grime scene, which brought a new kind of heat to the clubs of the city. His vibrant, unapologetically obtuse (and at times absurd) brand of club-music delighted the ears of listeners, the feet of dance-floor dwellers and the brains of music theorists - all in one fell swoop. Having released with Mr. Mitch’s crucial Gobstopper imprint as well as big-guns Rinse, Tarquin has become a household name in the homes of those that know. All the while, Fake Laugh was in his bedroom writing scores of songs and occasionally releasing collections of the strongest cuts on a variety of indie labels who believed in his talent for timeless melody, focussed through his own rose-misted, yet modern lens.

It wasn’t until the fabled summer of 2019 that Fake Laugh & Tarquin would make music together in the same room. The first session resulted in album opener Slow, a song which for the previous two years, lay dormant in an acoustic form on a dusty Fake Laugh hard-drive. Fake Laugh had the idea that perhaps the song could be transformed into something far bigger and better in the hands of Tarquin - a theory which was proven correct.

Throughout Fake Laugh & Tarquin the pair continuously confound the listener, fusing sharp and glacial synthetic elements with warm organic tones and heartfelt vocal performances. Money was written at the start of the global pandemic, a time in which people had more financial concerns than usual. Rejecting total doom and gloom, Fake Laugh & Tarquin turn this dystopian angst on its head and create a one-of-a-kind club mover that pulls inspiration from the super-slick grooves of early noughties stalwarts Moloko and Groove Armada. The album twists, turns, morphs and mutates until it’s peaceful conclusion in the form of existential piano-ballad Meaningless Thin
