Jason Wilkins aka Cammile welcomes Lello Di Franco to his long-running Adeen imprint. As usual the Italian veteran has an eye-catching selection of collaborators in tow. Chief amongst these is Javontte, who not only guests on opener 'Do It Right' - a nostalgic chunk of classic house/boogie/jazz-funk fusion - but also flipside cut 'Elements', a hybrid deep house/Afro-house/disco house bouncer topped off with poetic spoken word vocals courtesy of Yvette Garrett. Alongside the duo's original vocal mix, we also get a jacking, stripped-back Toddsonic33 take and a propulsive, percussion-rich 'Vocal Dub'. Elesewhere, Orlando Voorn lends a hand on the appropriately titled 'The Deep', and Di Franco offers up the languid, organ-rich mid-tempo house shuffle of 'Lely The SBT'.

Addict Records is a French label with a retro-futuristic aesthetic, inspired by Detroit and its pioneers.
Founded by David Ferret, aka DFXRADIO, it blends House and Deep Techno with influences from Northern Soul, Jazz Funk, and Disco, in a human and analog approach. After his successful debut on Limo Trax Yellow, Fragoso is joined by none other than DJ Vibe for a four track collaborative EP. With a career spanning from 1992 to the present day, DJ Vibe has been arguably Portugal’s biggest contributor to the house canon, notable for releases as Underground Sound of Lisbon, hundreds of remixes on labels like Tribal and Twisted, as well as for the prolific catalog of his Kaos Records. ‘The Train’ features 4 tracks tailored for big rooms in the tribal, driving style Vibe made his name with - highly functional and not to be missed.

One of the most popular French TV extracts of all time is the black and white image of a young and extremely nervous-looking Françoise Hardy being given a firm dressing-down by Mireille Hartush (the famous music teacher who ran La Petite Conservatoire de la Chanson in the 1960s). Presented here is her debut studio album Françoise Hardy (issued as The Yeh-Yeh Girl from Paris! in the USA). It was released in France in December 1962 by Disques Vogue with the catalogue number LD 600-30. Originally issued with no title, except for her name on the cover, the album has therefore colloquially become known by the title of its most successful song, Tous les garçons et les filles, and later reissues added this title. This sensational album compiles the twelve original French versions from her first three EPs released by Vogue during 1962. Hardy would also record versions of songs from the album in Italian (1962, four tracks released on singles have been added here as a bonus), English (1964) and German (1965). The opening track, "Isolation", takes the listener on a journey plagued by the sense of loneliness created by isolation. The ever-present melancholy slowly deepens into an overflowing anxiety without release. The eponymous "St. Virus" is a piece that considers the relationship between man and nature and the viruses that appear in it. They work in their own expected and, upon consideration, very honest way. Are we humans honest like this? Are human beings on some level similar to a virus? “Inherently Destructive” presents the idea of the unsustainability of the current situation. The events around us are fundamentally destructive for the individual person, for society and for the culture it carries. St. Virus is a personal soundtrack through Covid times.
