First time on vinyl. Recorded for DC's Black Fire Records in 1976, Theatre West's music never made record until now. Selected works taken from the master tapes of James "Plunky" Branch (Oneness of JuJu, Experience Unlimited etc). Hailing from Ohio and resident in DC, Theatre West was made up of musicians from Slave, Gil Scott Heron's Midnight Band, The Fabulous Originals, Malone & Barnes and others. Serious jazz-funk-soul selections via the vaults of Plunky and Black Fire Records.

Release Text Info: After a brief hiatus, here we are once more for the third release on Black/Tuesday Limited. For this installment, we've invited the Ukrainian Kirik to take the reigns. Tried and tested on dance floors across the globe, this EP has a track for every mood.

The title track, "Shape Les" is a sun-bleached roller that's sure to spread smiles across any dance floor. The ever-talented Iuly.B takes "Shape Les" and drowns out the sun as he crafts it into the perfect late-night bomb filled with mind-bending sounds to keep people locked in. Over on the B-side, Kirik washes any pain away with "Bruce Lee Say" - a beautifully crafted cut that warms the soul just like grandma's famous soup. "After Touch" closes out the EP with a guitar-infused ripper. Steeped in uplifting synths, mesmerizing vocals, and a swinging bass line, this one can fit in perfectly during any set time.

Nikki Nairs latest release for the new label Muy Muy Limited, based between Mexico City and Ponderosa CA, is a rich and textured testament to his ever evolving production abilities.

Evoking feelings of fireside reflection, this 6-song EP flows from rich ambient orchestration to hypnotic hymns + rhythmic instrumentation, while maintaining an overall feeling that evades description.

Fabio & Grooverider have been at the forefront of UK dance music for over 3 decades. This is the roots of their story told through music.

The 2 London DJ's are part of the DNA of the global Jungle / D&B movement and they have remained relevant, cutting edge, authoritative and essential to this truly underground art-form since it's inception. RAGE could arguably be the ground zero of Jungle. The party was started at London's cavernous Heaven club by Fabio & Grooverider in 1988, at the height of Acid House fever that was making it's way up and down the motorways, slip-roads, fields and warehouses of the M25 and further beyond every weekend, troubling the nation, the police, your parents and the press as it went. RAGE was a different beast, it certainly channelled some of that Acid energy but pitted it against the new and exciting sounds emanating from Belgium, Amsterdam, Detroit, Sheffield, Essex and Hackney and in turn created a new style, a new sonic attitude and energy in the process. Rumbling bass-lines, narcotic synth rushes and roughly chopped and sped-up breakbeats all merged into a style that we now know as Jungle. Nothing like this had been heard before, this was a brand new style and it was coming out of London's West End and Fabio & Grooverider were the people firmly behind it.

RAGE is approaching it's 30th anniversary. It's sonic and cultural legacy is still being felt today, Fabio & Groove are still shutting down raves and festivals every weekend all over the world with their superior DJ sets and musical knowledge guided by their pioneering spirit. This musical selection you hold in your hands, the first of 4 parts, sees them delve into their prodigious memories and record boxes to select a true musical representation of the very beginning of one of the UK's most unique and influential musical movements of the last 50 years. A never-ending groove and perfectly programmed synth stabs are coming out hot from Stephan Bazbaz & Assael Weiss who happen to be in the rooster of Audionik’s latest instalment.

The label’s third release strays away from conventionalisms the A-side includes a hypnotic yet groovy remix from mastermind Franco Cinelli. Perfectly low ends and a poly-rhythmic groove make this a unique piece of music The B-Side comes from the hands of Priku. The remix is borderline minimalistic, freaky elements and glitchy effects pair with convoluted reverb sounds that come and go entering new grounds in texture and sound. Don’t miss to have this one in your record case, it will come very handy.

Ascetic Limited is excited to present our seventh release returning with our VA series and a new design line from Plastica. Side A begins with Trastiber by Fabrizio Lapiana. Fabrizio's work needs little introduction, known for his ambient backdrops and mesmerizing melodies this track is a perfect fit for our catalogue and any DJ wanting to ensure a moody ambience and great for opening doors into deeper realms.
Secondly we have Journey with Castenada by Greenbeam & Leon, the duo from Georgia. The residents of Khidi club in Tbilisi, take us on a heavy set journey with their particular sound that ranges from tripped out to industrial bangers. A Journey with Castaneda is an ode to mind exploration and the psychedelic realms we can find within ourselves.
On the B side Aleja Sanchez, known for her pounding yet well thought out tracks, provides her track Sanctuary, truly mesmerizing from the Colombian mainstay. This track reflects in totality the sound we strive to provide on Ascetic Limited, pounding yet deep a perfect balance of body mind and soul.
To close it out, Cliche Morph s Sinusoid is a broken bass line heavy hitter with amazing sound design that will fit into any set, from the most moody to the deepest of selections. Overall a perfect track to close out our fourth VA selection, reflecting our concept as a label.

Italian maestro, Giorgio Gigli, makes his debut on Eclectic Limited with the spectacularly intelligent and timeless-to-be ''Moving Through Time EP'' which features 3 original techno gems and a special remix of the mastermind Samuli Kemppi using parts of all 3 original tracks. Techno is eternal, with this EP being yet another solid proof.

Stateside based DJ Aakmael has been making well defined rough and raw dancefloor grooves for some time and a joint collaboration between Flumo and ANMA sees him pushing out a floor filler laden twelve inch.

Architectural returns to Wolfskuil Records with 4 exceptional cuts on his 'Beautiful Life After Death' twelve inch. Complex sound design and a warm and open atmosphere go hand in hand with the Spanish studio wizzard's sonic world. From lush ambient in the title track, the addictive groove in 'Piedras' to wobbly modular bass excursions in 'Luminous Path' and moody textures from the abyss in 'Gris'. Architectural covers a lot of ground in just 4 tracks. Diverse and coherent at the same time, few artists have such a recognizable sound signature as the Barcelona artist.

ESS - Sometimes we need to revisit the past to discover the future. That's why we are so happy to present the incredible Electronic Speech Systems 'Capsule Collection' (by Dublin's electro modular warrior DeFeKT). A selection of his finest works from his three only releases in 2011 on 'New Flesh', 'Takeover Recordings' & 'AC Records' have been remastered to form an electro tour de force.

We pull the trigger with his deadliest of weapons 'Trigger My Sequencer'. A full throttled four-to-the-floor doppler dance werk out. The expelling of his drexciyan demons continues with the polar cap melting 'Thermo Drive', a deep dive into aquatic funk & electro dub waves.

On the flip, slicing chord stabs and pulsing signals launch us back into the milky way with 'Halley's Comet'. The fusion of Kraftwerk inspired grooves & pulsing alpha juno synth lines pair perfectly to make it a certified electro cult classic. Lastly JX10 brings it home with a beautiful arrangement and showcase of perfectly executed electronic architecture, leaving us speechless.
