Continuing its incredible run of high grade releases, Silat Beksi's Modeight imprint turns out its 14th record with mighty Moldovan producer Dubfound. Spread across 4 tracks, his "No Time For Wind" EP winds its way through a classy and cutting edge minimalist house vibe. The A-side begins with the mind bending, "Mishkitsunami", a raw and raucous cut. Following on we dive deeper into "Clouds Are Flying Down", a fluid and enigmatic slice of pure rhythmic flow. On the B-side the irresistible head bumping groove of "Wet Heads" kicks things off. A collab with fellow Moldavan compatriot Dupostim. That electric bassline set to be surefire winner with club goers. And finally, title track "No Time For Wind" finishes things off with its graceful after hours hypnosis. A perfect fit for Modeight, Dubfound brings the heat in emphatic fashion.

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new V.A., Each artist brings their own unique style, resulting in six tracks that are distinctly different from each other.

French producer Akyki, opens the DANCE with a wicked funky beat and catchy sounds. His music is a real injection of good vibe.

Cene & Esqueena, this Italian duo continues to make us dance with energetic Synths, captured during a live jamming. Every note is a pure groove feeling.

The young french talent HRM concludes the DANCE side with edgy electro sounds and seductive vocals, perfect to spice up the dancefloor.

Alex Vincent, German producer opens the LISTEN side with a mix of gentle electro sounds and IDM influences, sweetened by warmly snuggly melodies. A deep journey of sound to be shared intensely.

Jonny3snareS live performer from the UK, invites us to “escape” into a parallel dimension with his magical music, Synths and Drums run hand in hand harmonizing perfectly.

Foreign Sequence, from France, concludes with an IDM track with full and powerful sounds enlivened by delicate acid melodies. It is the perfect ending that encapsulates all the emotions of this EP in one track.

In these 4 tracks are a fine mix of atmosphere, intricate electro and techno drum foundation, with warm hues of melody that seep smoothly into the imagination. It's old school minimal approach creates max quality in feelings like that of its early 90s Detroit and UK style ancestry, while never losing touch of the future in its sonic impression on imagery.

A detour into classic Chicago sound is here as well, check the lush acid house hybrid remix of “East At Dawn” from the fine talent of Gilbert…Pure and confident with moods spanning sunlit electro combinations to melodic trips of introspective acid techno sensation, “Multitudes” by Mihail P is choice for mind and body stimulating destinations.

Hurdslenk is back on KEY with a proper 2x12 heavy hitter. The classic KEY sound, oscillating between relentless peak time energy and funky, textural grooves.

Opening with Horizon on the A1, Hurdslenk wastes no time in setting the tone for this release. This high energy stomper is packed with sinister vibes and metallic highs, driving an intense, full power track thats tailor made for peak time moments. Its merciless, unyielding, and primed to dominate the dancefloor. A2 Dust keeps the energy high while introducing a pneumatic, distorted feel. Hurdslenk leans into abrasive, visceral realms over here, delivering somewhat of a raw, industrial edge. Its dryly funked techno pulse is unforgiving, making it an ace for those seeking hard hitting pressure with a tactile quality. On the flip, Hurdslenk shifts gears. B1 adopts a stealthier approach with a rolling bassline and dusky, atmospheric strings, allowing for a mesmerizing throb to invite listeners into a deeper, cerebral space. Its hypnotic and expansive, ideal for building tension while keeping the floor engaged. B2 brings a playful touch with its tunnel groove, adding an element of fun to the darker journey. The C side strips things back, displaying Hurdslenks ability to craft raw power with fewer elements. Finally, the D side closes the release with a slightly more hypnotic descent. The intensity lowers, guiding you into darker, more texturized waters, where rhythmic intricacies and detailed layers come together for an immersive, atmospheric end.

One of those tracks which glides yourwaist left to right without too much thinking at all. 'Ioulos' insteadredirects us to a darker space, invaded by metallic bleeps anddystopic glitches. A story of intrigue and intensity, which iscontinued on the flip side with B1 'Loced'. It is a rough one forsure, but also injecting a sort of playful, funk-marinated feel.Last but not least, B2 'Elekt' is our standout favorite. First release from Lisbon's leading dance music record shop, Carpet & Snares Records.André Leiria completes his journey from wide-eyed customer to fully-fledged producer, with three reflective originals and an outer-space dub from Mosaic boss Steve O'Sullivan. 'Raining Sun' and 'Not The Way Home' evoke wet spring days in the city, sustained chords and delayed accents swelling like morning river mist over the diligent bass and percussive clatter of urban life below. O'Sullivan's drifting dub of 'Raining Sun' steps boldly into a galaxy-scale soundspace, echoing the best of his dub excursions from the late 90s, while on 'Fear Of Death' there are hints of another Steve (Reich), its cacophony of arpeggios propelling the groove into ever higher registers.
