Sounds of Sirius is back with the release of the "Frequency EP" by Chilean friends Giorgio Robles and Herman Saiz, featuring remixes by Silat Beksi, Ted Amber, and Circkel Square.

Launching this summer is the anticipated Valencia based label, Aloque. The debut output comes from co-founder of the label, Vsan, as he showcases his dynamite sound within the “Baby Steps” EP. The thriving young talent kicks off the vinyl offshoot of Aloque with a classy four tracker, animated and full of life, ready to make an impression on your record bag in the warmer months!

First up is “Church”, constructed upon a winding elasticated groove, and stripped back drum patterns, allowing each of the elements to breathe and shine strong. Plucky drums, and tripped out vocals tease you down a path of curiosity in “Messages”, combined with dreamy pads and synths, creating a distinct atmosphere. Perky congas infiltrate your mind as they continue to evolve throughout the trip.

Leaning in the electro-funk direction on the B side is “Mirror”, a chunky encounter that is certain to move the floor, shimmering motions around the body of the track create a playful moment for the night. The wacky B2 “Tarantino” floats between eccentric sounds and squiggling bass lines, partnered up with a pensive drive to drift your emotions.

The Aloque vinyl label is off to an amazing beginning as Vsan and José Martí share their experiences as party makers, and DJs and turn that into a finely tuned record label, continuing their events series around Valencia and beyond. Vsan captures the essence of the vision with this sleek body of work!

Bassline veteran and all-round soundsystem sorcerer Marcel Deptford lands on Sneaker Social Club with two ruff-n'-tuff rave-n'-b re-flips that run as a prelude to big things to come.

This is the first time you will have heard a record under the name Marcel Deptford, but he's got serious skin in the game with an imposing history in the legendary bassline scene from the late-00s. His records as DS1 are the stuff of legend for anyone keyed into the Niche-centric sound, but more recently he's put out some serious heat as Haider running his own Breaker Breaker label and popping up on Aus and the like.

If you're a fan of millennial RnB there's every chance you'll recognise the vocals that breathe life into Deptford's two tracks for this Sneaker release. Moving beyond simple edit territory, the voices are bedded deep down into gritty rave productions that boast the kind of dirt bag sonics that call straight back to the OG days of breakbeat hardcore. 'Rock The Boat' has bloated bass pushing into the red, clattering breaks chopped up with a rugged swagger and a dreamy, haunted dose of dub poured all over the vocals.

'Make It Hot' has a lighter, swung feel which nods to garage, but there's still plenty of weight on the low end. Once the lead vocal sample steps back to open up the space, Deptford's knack for strong melodic hooks comes through in a blown out arp line which the bassline dutifully follows.

Hitting every sweet spot from the low-down dirty rave receptors via moody head-nodding restraint on to iconic vocals, Marcel Deptford shows exactly what he's capable on this release ahead of a more extensive dive into his legacy, due further down the line.

Undefined #12 comes from the hand of Dan Piu. Since 1992, Dan has been keeping it versatile by blending different styles of music throughout his career. We are very happy to welcome him to the Undefined family.

His 'Fantasy Juxtaposition' EP resembles exactly what Undefined stands for; versatile and timeless.

On the A side we have a straight up DJ track with a certain techno and bleep flava combined with deep luscious vocals. Aa. gives us an old nu groove kinda beat with naughty 80ies jazz and old school bleepy acid house.

The B side starts with a real old recorded 90ies track, one of Dan's first tracks ever made. A dull love romance evolves from a harmony of batteling synthesizers layered on a break beat groove and fueled with a portion of soul. A mindbending trip. The Bb rounds it off! A track that Dan created back in 1998 together with his friend Gary Rich, Take a walk to a mysterious forest with this uplifting vibe. Gary Rich was a mysterious producer himself - people may know him from his Nightstalker moniker which he was in together with Dan.

A Madrid-based label is set to release vinyl-only music, focusing on microhouse, rominimal, and deep genres. Our concept emphasizes the "simplicity" of minimal music, paired with classy and elegant designs and aesthetics.
