HouseTechVinyl OnlyBeatsBreak-Beat

For its second release, the Parisian vinyl-only imprint Mustard & Pickles takes a bold step into the V/A format, a challenging one where balancing diverse styles is key—here, the gamble paid off. The EP kicks off with a stellar deep house cut from Berlin based Hustache, using a hypnotic vocal to lure us straight into 'That Beautiful Place'. Over on the A2, things get bouncy yet mysterious, featuring an addictive vocal loop that keeps you hooked. Flip the record, and M&P label head Tom Cler serves up a tailor-made break-to-4/4 weapon, packed with deep leads and the VA's signature : insane vocal lines. Closing out the wax, Numero 6 drops a gorgeous deep house gem. With its lush pads, quirky textures, and enchanting vocals, it feels like he’s casting a spell on the dancefloor—and we’re totally here for it.

HouseGarageTechBeatsUk Garage

Born 2 Be Free label head Azaad has been kicking out his twist on UKG for a few years now, and in that same time he has also been beavering away on his debut album. Ahead of that drop, he teases us with a sampler from it that covers plenty of ground. 'Isthisluv (feat Elias Mazian)' is a deep one with an expansive comic backdrop and cool grooves. 'Dubble Lively' is more tightly coupled and punchy, kick-driven garage house, then he remixes 'Lost Worlds' into something dubby but kicking. Two B-side cuts roll deep with deft sampling. Bring on the album!

HouseDeepElectroAcidBreaksBeatsSynth

Some music travels well. Some takes its time. And some spends a few years underwater before deciding to come back up.
Such is the case with Ksky, Saint Petersburg native, DJ, synth enthusiast and the man behind Underwater Tales. Originally released into the world with little fanfare, these tales have been keeping a rather low profile ever since. Not quite forgotten, not exactly missing, just minding their own business somewhere below the surface. Time for a little fresh air.
Now resurfacing across two records, the collection brings together familiar faces, old acquaintances and a few unexpected arrivals. Previously released material rubs shoulders with additional tracks, including Gerd Janson's extended DJ mix of New Era. A small reunion of sorts, minus the awkward conversations.
Also along for the ride is Bad Philly. A deceptively simple piece of machinery with something strangely epic under the hood. No unnecessary detours, no lengthy explanations, just one breath, one story and a direct connection to the morning dancefloor. Sometimes the shortest route is the most scenic. Music for when the night has already happened, the sun is starting to ask questions and nobody seems particularly interested in going home.
Now together at last.

Locomotive & Swan - Way Out Here...
SHIMMY003
Shimmy
12inchRelease unknown

HouseBreaksTechBeatsBreak-Beat

Paul Guido and Laron McNally, AKA Locomotive & Swan, conjured up ‘Way Out Here…’ in the living room of a tiny apartment in San Francisco in 2003. The duo were part of a bustling West Coast scene inspired by the pioneers that came before them, pushing the music into a more experimental direction. Their sound was a hybrid of looping tech-house with a freshly dubbed-out soul, soft-edged pumpers made with long sessions on the dance floor in mind.

The four versions of ‘Way Out Here…’ contain the same tripped-out samples and driving percussion, but with their own distinct attitude. The ‘Breakbeat Mix’ provides the most bone-rattling bassline of all time, balanced by the more restrained and stripped back ‘Bonus Breaks’. The ‘House Mix’ subtly plays with pressure and release, while ‘Posse Up’ goes full throttle lift-off.

With this four tracker all bases are covered - each track is suited to different moments across a night’s arc from warm up, to peak time, to after hours. This EP is a testament to the grooves and groovers of the time, reflecting an era of music that informed much of what we cherish today. The shimmy is strong with this one, and we are happy to give it another lap.

Blazej Malinowski - Nocturnal Shadows

You are never truly awake. You are never fully asleep. The mind, tangled and tireless, pulls you toward the dark. But the chain reaction stirs - a restless echo, thought after thought, unraveling stillness. Sleep falters. Unease breathes. Dream if you must. But sleep - Sleep well.
The second release in the Inner Tension Extra series, Nocturnal Shadows, is a collection of ambient and experimental works by Blazej Malinowski. Created as a deeply personal exploration of atmosphere, emotion and inner states, the album moves away from the dancefloor into more abstract and immersive territories. Nocturnal Shadows marks another side of Malinowski’s musical language - slower, darker and more introspective, where texture, space and silence become as important as the sound itself. life is beautiful records
Cassette05.11.202605.NOV.26

BeatsExperimentalPopElectronica

Recently unearthed, rare recordings from Bianca Scout's early years of 2013-2014.

All tracks written, produced, recorded, performed and mixed by Bianca Scout. Mastered by the infamous Rupert Clerveux.

Bianca Scout is a producer, composer and multidisciplinary artist with a background in contemporary and classical dance whose intimate performances combine movement and storytelling within a distorted landscape of displacement, yearning and the undead. Scout’s work blends a mysterious mix of demure post-grunge and medieval composition, creating music made through loops and collages from a highly seductive field. Her music is haunted without being hauntological, fractured but whole; her work sits within a gothic landscape, steering you into the abyss while also acting as the compass that guides your way back out.

Her albums include Pattern Damage (2024), The Heart of the Anchoress (2023), Our Hearts (2022), Karaoke at the Slagheap (2022) and Dis-lexia (2017). Alongside her solo work, Scout is part of the industrial synth-pop duo Marina Zispin, whose debut album Now You See Me, Now You Don’t was released in 2025, as well as being part of the multi-disciplinary collective ‘life is beautiful’, and a collaborative project with Lauren Duffus, 2k88 & Rainy Miller, which saw the release of the 2026 album ‘Everything Always Changes, For We’re Truly Here’.

Scout has created film scores including Arctic Diva (BFI Short Film Festival, 2025) and Shagbands (Film4 Shorts, 2020).

Scout has performed in venues such as: EartH Theatre London (2026), Lion Arts Factory Adelaide (2026), Unsound Poland (2026), Lafayette Anticipations Paris (2025), She Makes Noise Oihuka (2025), San Sebastian (2025), Handel Festival: Arias Reimagined, London (2025), Luminate, Kings Place London (2024), Unsound Festival Kraków (2024), EEXXOO – Bianca Scout Does Some Pattern Damage, Volksbühne, Berlin (2024), Serpentine Gallery, London (2017), The London South Bank Centre (2022), The Royal Academy, London (2017).

Scout has collaborated with artists such as Klein, Coby Sey, Lauren Duffus, Ben Vince, Space Afrika, Elena Isolini, Solomon Garcon & various members (+ affiliates) of the multi-disciplinary collective ‘life is beautiful’ that she is a part of. HouseBreaksBeatsJungleBass

Slow Astro is a new mix series by Fracture which revisits the rich Astrophonica back catalogue and presents it in a new light. Starting with Volumes 1 & 2 featuring music from Sully, Client_03, Philip D Kick & DJ Earl.

"I have always been intrigued by playing audio back at different speeds. Be it speeding up breakbeats to make Jungle or slowing down pop music to make drawn out nostalgic atmospheres. Some of my first experiments with pitch were with my brother. We’d record ourselves onto cassette and use the hi speed dubbing feature to change the pitch of our voices. If you held the play button down half way it would cause the tape to play back at different speeds - mangling the audio.

Over the past year I became fascinated with playing on 7 inch records on 33. New rhythms, grooves and textures appear when you change the pitch of audio. It can totally alter the emotional quality of a piece of music you thought you knew so well - creating new artefacts with a familiar yet dreamlike quality. HouseAcidBeatsDrum&BassUk Garage

New label founded by DJ and producer Just Jul’, Love Shelter Recordings proudly presents its very first release: "Brust Sessions #1", a four-track EP by Reedoo & Just Jul’.
Produced between Brest (France) and Brussels (Belgium), "Brust Sessions #1" was born from the meeting of two musical worlds and a shared desire to break free from genre boundaries, putting groove, rhythm and dancefloor energy at the heart of the project.

Blending Acid House, UK Garage, Drum & Bass, House and Global Beats, the EP draws from a wide range of musical influences and cultures. Percussive rhythms, deep basslines, acid textures and globally inspired samples come together across four tracks designed for both the club and the sound system.

With the Brust Sessions, Reedoo and Just Jul’ embrace a free and open approach to beatmaking. Rather than sticking to a single genre, they let tempos, styles and influences collide to create their own sonic playground.

From Middle Eastern sounds to Northern European electronic music, through the legacies of House and Bass music from the UK and the US, each track becomes a meeting point between different scenes, cultures and musical traditions.

"Brust Sessions #1" lays the foundations for Love Shelter Recordings and sets the tone for the label’s future releases: open-minded, hybrid club music built for dancefloors without borders.

The Alternative Futures EP is the second release from London based DJ/Producer duo Suburban Architecture. Drawing heavily on influences from one of Drum & Bass's most innovative eras, the mid to late 90s, the duo's productions place a contemporary spin on sounds rooted in this golden era of dance music.

Picking up where 2019's "Visions" EP left off, this new 4 track EP delivers another collection of sounds that meet at the intersection of nostalgia and modern production.

"Final Call" marries Jazz Fusion with dreamy vocal samples and atmospheric pads to match, all at a lowered tempo which harks back to the birth of the "intelligent" sound.

"Future Jazz '95" meanwhile is a stepping jazz-infused roller that invokes memories of DJ Pulse, Jazz Cartel et al.

On the flip, atmospherics lead the way: "Chinatown" provides rolling drums over layers of lush pads and melancholy horns while "New Horizons" throws a nod in the direction of Bukem's early "Good Lookin" releases with arpeggiated chimes, rousing vocal samples and the all important rolling Amen to close

WRWTFWW Records proudly announces the release of sfs/in vain (selected tracks) by UK jungle heavyweight and Future Retro London founder Tim Reaper, a limited-edition 3LP bringing together selected tracks from two previously digital-only albums, sfs and in vain.
An insane collection of slower 140 BPM wonders, sfs/in vain explores jungle, dubstep, UK garage, R'n'B, grime, liquid D&B and broken beats through Tim Reaper's fresh and informed approach. Deconstructed and reconstructed club music, rooted in tradition but looking forward, these tracks reveal another side of one of the key figures in the modern jungle revival.
The selection comes from 2 albums. sfs collects a body of slower material Tim Reaper worked on throughout 2025, stretching across various genres of UK electronic music. in vain comes from a much more personal place. Written during a period of instability, heartbreak, financial and professional uncertainty, the album became a way for Tim Reaper to process what was happening around him and find some kind of escape. The tracks were made at a point when the effort he had put into rebuilding his life felt as though it had all been "in vain" - hence the title. The result is warm, melancholic, soulful, simply very human.
Together, these selected tracks highlight the incredible range of Tim Reaper's production, proving that his understanding of jungle extends far beyond the traditional boundaries of the genre. From heavyweight bass music to delicate melodic passages, sfs/in vain (selected tracks) is a beautifully varied snapshot of an artist constantly pushing UK club music into new territories.
Tim Reaper has been leading the resurgence of jungle for years, with releases on AKO, Skeleton Recordings, 7th Storey Projects, Green Bay Wax, Dalston Chillies, Parallax, Myor Massiv, V Recordings, Deep Jungle and many more. He is also the founder of Future Retro London, one of the most respected labels and platforms in the contemporary jungle scene.

BeatsAmbientExperimentalPopWorld Music

Waves 1 is the rst release of Curd Duca since the legendary Elevator series (1998-2000). Waves is an album trilogy. Waves 2 and 3 will be released on Magazine in 2021.

If we think of Curd Duca’s Waves in terms of sound, rather than in terms of form, each track on Waves is actually like the large, illuminated, richly decorated initial letter that introduces the narrative of so many medieval manuscripts. It is as if Duca was collecting extraordinary letters, opening up an alphabet of sounds, and developing a musical phonetics between adjacent terms. From gong to gone; bell to bells minus drone; dome to father.

The real beauty of Curd Duca’s cycle lies in the fact that it opens up differently from so many perspectives. That we can understand it as a collection of treasures, as a commentary on our acoustic environment, as an attempt to dissect the world and stylize its parts. Much like a printer's typesetting box, Duca proposes an inventory of everything that sounds. Some of the pieces are exaggerations. Some allusions. Others abstractions, parodies, and trans gurations. It is often not even clear whether the music is based on a recording or a synthetic sound. Is the nightjar real or is it a synthetic imitation? Did Duca really use brass and zither sounds or simulate them on the computer? The hermaphroditic nature between reality and arti ciality is a central aspect of Duca’s sound world.

There is only one thing you must not do with this music: trivialize it or underestimate it. With Waves, Duca is exploring the very essence of sound, and its possible meanings and contradictions.

DJ Strawberry - APPX:LP04 Resampledelia
APPXLP04
Appendix.files
12inch16.11.202616.NOV.26

BeatsBass

DJ Strawberry returns with Resampledelia, a new album for Appendix.files that pushes his ongoing explorations of footwork and juke into more abstract and textural territory.

Pathologically cheeky, thick with spices and full of rhythmic acrobatics, Resampledelia is built around a process of repeated resampling - taking source material apart, manipulating it and rebuilding it into new rhythmic and sonic structures. Across eight tracks, sounds are warped, stretched and recontextualised into something simultaneously intricate and instinctive, moving between the physicality of the club and the detail of deep listening. There is a playful maximalism to the record, with dense textures and unusual rhythmic turns constantly rubbing up against its underlying sense of groove.

The album develops an approach first explored on 2024’s deceleration EP, where DJ Strawberry slowed the familiar 160 BPM framework of juke and footwork to bring its sonic detail further into focus. His 2026 Personal Jazz EP for Juke Bounce Werk pushed the idea towards the club, preserving and highlighting his source material rather than completely deconstructing it. With Resampledelia, that process is taken further, with samples repeatedly reworked until their original forms become almost unrecognisable.

The record also reflects the creative freedom that has developed through DJ Strawberry’s relationship with Appendix.files and label head King Softy. Their creative exchange began when King Softy’s Dad sent him a tape by DJ Strawberry, prompting him to reach out. What followed has developed into an ongoing relationship around the label, with each release giving Strawberry further room to explore and push his sound in new directions.

“The creative freedom Appendix gives me results in pursuing my own sound in the most experimental way... the label’s character plays a huge role in the process.” - DJ Strawberry

That freedom is central to Resampledelia. It is a record that doesn't settle into one mode of listening, instead finding its own space between rhythmic gymnastics, detailed sound design and the physical pull of the dancefloor.

Resampledelia features two reworkings of lead single 'routine', with King Softy and oyubi contributing remixes.

Fracture - Slow Astro, Vol. 5 & 6 (TAPE)

Astrophonica
Cassette13.11.202613.NOV.26

BeatsBreak-BeatJungleBass

Fracture dips back into the rich Astrophonica back catalogue for another slowed-down, Chopped & Screwed mixtape built from all-new, exclusive edits and remixes. A reverb-drenched and bass-heavy exploration of ambience, texture and sonic disintegration, taking cues from the dubwise experiments of King Tubby, the ambient soundscapes of Brian Eno and, of course, DJ Screw.

What started as an ode to DJ Screw, Slow Astro has become an alternative history of Astrophonica, where existing music is dismantled, recontextualised and reconstructed into something entirely new. The diversity of the Astrophonica catalogue draws on organic, breakbeat-driven Jungle, frantic and scatty Footwork, synth-heavy and dystopian Electro, head-nodding Hip-Hop, silky Garage and other experimental forms of electronic music. Originally created across different eras, tempos and musical contexts, these sounds are already woven together like a tapestry of taste and curation, but Slow Astro brings them together in a new environment and recasts them in an entirely different light. Slowing all this music down to the same tempo, drenching it in reverb and cranking up the saturation reveals unexpected relationships, shared textures and hidden musical connections – a place where Client_03 and Philip D Kick share the same tranquilised groove while Sully and Lewis James float together in a watery, weightless limbo.

Slow Astro drills deep into Fracture’s love and knowledge of the catalogue for a world-building flipmode performance, built on meticulously pulled-apart and stitched-back-together edits that go way beyond the scope of a standard mixtape. It's put together as a collage-meets-live-dub experiment, making use of delay throws that spiral back on themselves, reverb washes that extend breakdowns far beyond their original intentions and the iconic crunch of a Mackie 1604 mixing desk. The result is immersive, psychedelic and transportive. Slow Astro is a mood, Slow Astro is its own thing. So sit down, slow down and turn it up.

Introspekt - Mutant Transmissions LP 2x12"
TEMPA135
Tempa Recordings
2x12inch20.11.202620.NOV.26

BeatsDubstepBass

Building from the critical acclaim of last year's debut album "Moving the Center", Introspekt returns with an eight track EP. "After I'd done the first album, it felt like I opened up a few different portals. 'Mutant Transmissions' feels to me like the result of following one of the threads that I started weaving," she explains.

With portals opened, it turns out the first step towards going down one of them is the use of time machines or at least… timeless drum machines. In this case investing in music hardware that rewired classic 808/909s allowed her to explore. Where exactly she ended up, is a story of two parts.

Sonically, the EP is eight dark, bassy and stripped back trax sitting somewhere over the Black Atlantic between 2002 Croydon dubstep and East Coast Baltimore or Detroit electro. The east coast influences are a new front in the exploration of her sonic heritage and identity. "I wanted to do something that was a bit more synthetic and build every piece from scratch… in terms of the sound design, it's a bit more angular. I was writing a lot with spirals in mind."

Psychologically however, the EP's track titles are clues for individual galaxies accessible through the portal.

"Fierce Diva Protocol" is named after a personal self defence mechanism designed to protect from overwhelm caused by hypervisibility; the process of when to say "no". This brought the understanding of self that "sometimes change that's very positive feels challenging and scary in the body".

Similarly "Breath Work (Club mix)" speaks to the breathing exercises she returns to in the most turbulent periods of her life and is centred around samples of in- & exhalation. "I wanted the breath samples to feel almost referential to a sensual energy but in a sense of like a creative energy, a reference to something primordial even... There's something about the creative thrusts of life that is contained in breath."

"Left Eye" begins with something personal: her vision, after a few injuries, is less clear in that eye. But it is also a "reference to various cultural symbolic associations of the left eye and its relationship to various more universal principles, to the unseen, more intuitive parts of the brain…" She's learned to leverage her defocused lens to develop an "intuitive sense about things in response to stressful situations or intense change," whether that's in martial arts bouts or music industry antics. Left eye open: not simply seeing but perceiving.

Finally, two of the EPs tracks feature numbered titles: "108 Shapes" & Drum_Signal_ 027", the digits of which both sum to 9. Suddenly Introspekt's portal has taken us to a numerology galaxy, one not a million light years from Taoism or the Aṣẹ tradition of the Yoruba. "Nine is associated with completion, the resolution of cycles and the motion of transformation, change or metamorphosis," she explains.

"I made 'Drum_Signal_ 027' pretty close to my 28th birthday, so I was 27 years old, and I was thinking about the previous year. It's kind of about me reflecting on change and the things that sometimes you have to give up in order to embrace change. But also the limitless potential of embracing that."

Big welcome to Time is Now for J Wax for a bit of a statement EP and I am coming out swinging here cos this is a really good record. There’s good, and then there’s this, the kind of good that stays good.

You know that feeling when something’s just right. When flow state becomes clarity. Well listening to this EP from J Wax gives me that feeling. This is proper Goldilocks business. It’s equal parts Gun Fingers and Loved up hugs. Just right.

By now we all know that something very special happens when Speed Garage collides with 1st wave UK Hard House - but - what makes this just right is that J Wax didn’t stop there, just like the Dutch 2nd Wave of Hard House he’s slid onwards into euphoric trance and oh boy am I here for it. In 1997 we got Double99’s Rip Groove and Nalin & Kane’s Beach Ball and for me this EP has as much in common with perfectly formed ‘97 Trance as it does with Speed Garage. Who says you can’t have it all!

We’ve been following J Wax’s output for years. He has been grafting hard. And for me he’s already firmly a part of the long lineage of globally significant Scottish party starting producers and DJ’s. So when we signed this EP to Time is Now I was gassed. Four big tunes. Sick EP. For me it’s crystal. J Wax is now a producer operating in rarefied air.

Run the Tracks….

A1. The dubplate of ’Peaches’ has been causing mayhem for a minute. Gliding in smooth before that big diva vocal screams down the bassline.

A2. J Wax tags in Edinburgh local RUA.DJ. The pair double up on ‘Shift’ for a slice of Trance infused but no-nonsense Speedy G. Reece bass & gun shots + bouncy synthline & ethereal chords. Lose it and yourself.

B1. ‘Soul Movement’ is a big room weapon. Serious levels on this one that leave no doubt - this is a producer at the top of his game, writing high energy weapons to destroy the dance.

B2. ‘Smokin’ is peak time bizness. Harder darker house with a diiirty dirty south vocal chop. This one is heads down & lock in…

Goldilocks.

BeatsDrum&Bass

QZB follow up their landmark debut LP with 'Dreams To Dust' and this sophomore effort finds the duo positively peaking. Where 'Future Forever' established the framework, Dreams To Dust pushes it to breaking point: Acidic and grandiose, the serum visions implode and give way to the kind of controlled execution only these low-end specialists can deliver. Behind that precision lies a deeply personal record, one presenting all synthesised input with complete clarity. Delving deep into the dynamics unfolding within a musical kinship spanning over a decade.

Musically, Dreams To Dust's sonic palette further strengthens QZB's case as some of the most versatile forces in the field. They wear their influences on their sleeves, channeling Grime, IDM, Acid House, Garage, and Hip Hop to push their sound into ever more focused forms, while sticking to their calling card: Concise, efficient and effective beat science. Guest vocals from old friends and new faces reflect the collaborative spirit proven by its results.
