Heavy 1 from Tokyo represents Japan and is our first ever signing from the Samurais homeland. 'Millers' may be recognisable to many of you from its's appearance on DJ Marky's recent Fabric Live mix. This tunes distinctly quirky funk has been winning crowds over since it was first drawn and we are extremely proud to have it released on the Samurai label. Samurai fave Nymfo represents the Netherlands in a head to head drinking contest with Christchurch, New Zealands Menace. We are not sure who won the alcoholic battle but the colossal bassline that was created in the session delivers a funky bounce that is very infectious. Croydon's own Swindle gets 2011 off to a great start with his first release on the grime label of the moment, Butterz. Young Turks are excited to announce the release of SBTRKT's self-titled full length debut.

SBTRKT's debut album pulls off a series of impressive feats, bursting with fresh ideas, and yet sounding immediately familiar. Its sound-patterns and rhythms can easily soundtrack the ecstatic hands in the air dancefloor moments as well as reliving the monotony of the morning commute. Its influences are incorporated with subtlety and sophistication: dense enough to interpret, light enough to dance to.

While he has had multiple releases in single and EP forms, this is his first full length, and about that he says 'This release is the culmination of a longer period of constant writing and collaboration, tracks on previous EPs were written as singular pieces. This record is much more of a whole project, more representative of my thoughts and ideas as an artist and each track was completed with the aim to be coherent together.'

With DSM having taken a turn down slightly darker paths with some of its more recent releases. Dutch uber-duo June Miller serve up two nasty half stepping tracks to continue this trend. Razor-sharp, scattering drums and growling bass pound their way unrelentingly throughout the a side 'Strike Anywhere' with the wailing synth line that sits a top these two elements adding a distinctly nervous, tension building atmosphere. With this outfit having made their name in the deeper, dare we say it, more 'minimal' side of the genre, this track shows their adeptness at creating devastating dance floor tunes too. Rising start Circa joins the fray from the B-Side 'Glass jaw'. The subtle, tiptoeing of the intro makes way and distorted, warping bassline after the dramatic pause before the drop-people won't know what hit'em! More crisp, 2-step beats drive the track forward while diminutive rolls on the hats and cinematic strings and chords adding points of interest throughout. This is a no holds barred straight up screw face slice of wax. You have been warned.

Traffic Jam featuring fellow studio companion Hellrazor has all the brooding tension of 5 o clock rush hour on the M1. Never quite reaching utter road rage its scatty beats and warped basslines are backed up by sporadic car horns and traffic atmospheres. Nina is a track very close to Lynx, written about a relationship that was never meant to be. Heartfelt chords and vocals reminisce on what once was. As the vocal whispers - Love grows naturally.... and so does the track. As supported by Marky, Shy FX, Calibre, Marcus Intalex, Bailey, Lenzman and more.

Hardline boss Paulblackout returns with two heavy dnb/hardcore crossover tracks, to follow on from the broken, deep beats of the previous Leepshec release. 'Curse on one self' features tough sounding vampire samples and builds up to a crazy drop which will have you throwing shapes and playing air drums like a madman (or woman) On the flip is 'all you MFs' which makes use of an amusing cartoon sample and stomps along to a halftime breakdown with double kickdrums to activate fist pumping mode. Vinyl release also includes an evil illustration by Camila Carmody, with DJ support from DJ Hidden, DJ Producer, Simon Underground, Mark N and more. This is how we're kickin it.....

Hotflush presents the full label debut of UK funky figurehead Roska, following his appearance on the recent BACK AND 4TH compilation and seminal remix of Untold's 'Just For You' in 2009. This release brings together two cuts that emphasize a healthy evolution of the Roska style that has made such an impact on bass music in the last couple of years. Retaining the customary hard-hitting percussion and raw syncopated rhythms, a slightly futuristic twinge moves us into more unfamiliar territory, with the energetic synth arpeggiation of 'Error Code' backed by the spacier, dubbed-out 'Abrupt'.

The A side of this release features a track from the CD & MP3 release of the Dispatch 'Transit One' album - Skeptical & MC Fokus's 'Structure'; this is a track we received many emails and messages from quite simply asking 'why is this not on vinyl' (along with other album tracks being referenced that did not appear as part of the vinyl package), the volume of differing requests led us to decide quite simply to put it to the vote and along with some help from K-Mag, Soundcloud and a mass of public votes here is the winning result pressed on to the a-side of this limited 10 vinyl. On the flip we've got something completely fresh from label man Ant TC1 in the shape of the track 'Mode Destruction' which is best explained as minimal but devastating when played loud! Enjoy.

New small label from Rotterdam by a wellknown player in the secene who wants to find its Dieptepunt.

Frances biggest drum and bass label Drum Orange has hit with some massive releases over the years and new producer Dub Peddla steps up to deliver some pounding beats which do this well known label justice. With Dnb on the A side and Dubstep on the flip this will appeal to both buyers.

Entering with that familiar euphoric intro, make way for Beezy's satanic hook and a drop that does justice to one of the year's dubstep anthems. Moving to a more serious, steppy vibe midway through, this is not the kind of tune you want to let your girlfriend's parents catch on your radio. On the other hand, this is exactly the type of beat that's going to earn you a reputation for killing it on the dancefloor.

Shimon's Audio Porn takes a side step for it's 11th release. Dropping the vocal dubstep bomb that is 'Dark Days' by Ed Rush and Tali. Flip it over and Tali teams up with Dirtyphonics for some more down tempo beats. Both riddims rock, you'd expect nothing less from the man behind Virus and one of the most exciting dnb acts to appear in the last few years.

Torqux and Twist are back in effect on Wicky Lindows with a killer new EP brimming over with tectonic-sized sonic textures and brutal bass. The A side 'Fear' is a steamboat ride to the dark side with big brass and orchestral samples in the intro giving way to an energetic bass workout. Full of drama and bassface moments, this peak time banger comes correct at every turn.

Here we have another quality release from the Delacroix camp, these guys specialize in ragga jungle and this release is full of tight jungle edits and rub a dub vibes. You'll be skankin out to this one trust!
