The initial release on the Rave 2 The Grave label was a sign of things that came later - 2 rave classics get the R2TG treatment, back on a limited press

An atmospheric double 12 inch pack with eleven serene ambient and IDM tracks by German producer Alexander Potthof aka Rave Angst. The vibe is moody and production is crisp with lots going on to keep your brain busy. It really feels like we're entering Potthoff's soul - he definitely did not hold back as this is deeply emotional and - let's face it - often apocalyptic sounding music. The unsettling melodies on the album are strangely held together by metallic sounding rhythms but only just... Rave Angst really challenges the listener on this album. It's all high quality stuff with 1994, Sunday Morning Self-Medication Acid and Burning Cars Acid being our personal favorites. ALBUM TITLE is a massive recommendation for anyone into mid 90s Aphex Twin and early Plastikman. Essential stuff.

Welcoming elusive Japanese guitarist, Kouhei Fukuzumi, for his 3rd solo full-length as Ultrafog. ‘A Replica Screams’ emerges as a collection of drifting memories, a chain reaction of unique combinations of elements already present in the World. It embraces the idea that existence itself is positively shaped by serendipity and meaningful coincidences, and that we are all falling together, in time, and on time.

The vinyl edition contains an original artwork poster presenting João Bragança Gil’s ‘The Origin’ (On & On), an installation on synchronicity and fossils, which materialized in conjunction with Ultrafog’s live show at Ufonic (Lisbon, September 2024).

In Part 1 of the album, you will hear boundless performances by daegeum player Hong Yoo with electronic musician Unjin, and gayageum player Hwayoung Lee with ambient duo Hosoo. The recording was done in an improvised one-take format at STUDIO Y in Seoul, and Giuseppe Tillieci mastering enhanced the sonic quality.

Each track works as a fragment of a world in mutation, a territory where the friction between algorithm and synthetic consciousness generates brief sparks of humanity.

On Walls, structures rise like barriers erected by the network itself, while Time To Face opens the first emotional fracture within this controlled environment.

Benchmark Test #T08A2 acts as a short diagnostic interlude, an internal check-up that prepares the ground for Rival, where the tension amplifies and takes shape as an open confrontation between forces that can no longer turn back. A cold, persistent inner pulse suggests that something is about to break—or awaken.

It is in Time To Face and, especially, Your Fate that this fracture becomes pure emotion. Divider introduces melodies that do not intend to move you, yet inevitably do; minimal gestures that feel like residual memory trapped between cables and predictive models.

Rival works as the bridge between diagnosis and collapse, driving the narrative toward a point of no return.

Each frequency feels like a message transmitted from an eroded future, where technology no longer imitates the human—it analyses it, reflects it and confronts it. fantastic man teams up with tokyo’s mule musiq to deliver his debut lp in 2020. comprising of nine tracks, utopioid advances further into the realm of sci-fi influenced club and esoteric electronica - a vacation through an imaginary pleasure-dome by means of am-bient house, airy dub and at-times schizophrenic breakbeat.

written in 2019 and 2020 across berlin, the carioca spheres of rio and his hometown of mel-bourne, utopioid expands and adapts fantastic man’s much loved musical tropes for long for-mat. it’s a well-balanced and deeply crafted album and features a cameo by fellow melbourne rising-star memphis lk on ‘mazes’, resurrects the spirit of the nineties rompler on ‘forbidden fiction’ and glides you through peak-acid euphoria with ‘d’oxygen’ and ‘diaspora’.

utopioid follows a series of recent 12s, which include ‘dj mentality’ on his own superconscious records and ’solar surfing’ on stuttgart’s kitjen along with his 2016 lp titled ‘altitude attitudes’ under the alias mind lotion on parisian label antinote.

Two years after their first collab 'Component' (CM002), Submotive & Jubei reforge the foundations upon which Carbon Music was built, in two tracks written with two powerhouses sharing the same ethos.

Goldie reinstills his prowess, linking to form a holy pantheon on 'Game Of The Gods'. 10 years since Jubei released his album on Metalheadz, they collaborate again with a mutual accomplice in Submotive. Lenzman makes his intro on the flip, with a touch of nonchalent class on the effortlessly rolling 'Members Only'. Having all released with The North Quarter and Metalheadz, the trio share a close bond, developed over years of performing and travelling together. Its an innate understanding; a brotherhood; three elements that progress, intensify and naturally form, in a way that no others can.

The illusive Impérieux ventures into the fantastical world of DJ Koze’s Pampa with three tracks of masterful, genre-bending electronica.

It’s little wonder that the Turkish/Bulgarian native finds himself coming into the orbit of the Hamburg-based label head. DJ Koze has been a long-time supporter of Impérieux’s music, his intrepid DJ sets often finding their most dramatic peaks or existential lows with one of the producer's audacious dancefloor soundscapes.

Now Berlin-based, Impérieux’s music draws deeply on the sounds of his heritage, taking inspirations from Bulgarian folklore, twisted and chopped Turkish dialect as well the gritty underground of his new surroundings.

With Fantasmagorii, Impérieux explores his sonic boundaries with techniques inspired by the label-head himself. As a producer he is becoming known for his ability to build fantasy worlds through aural experimentation, creating productions soaked with fragility and emotion. His music brings a full-body listening experience of it’s own, laden with intensity and mystery, and full of opposites. He has the ability to pluck their listeners out of reality, to bend the rules of time and space and defy genres in a way that is reminiscent of Koze’s various bodies of work, and it’s no surprise that this selection of tracks feels right at home in the Pampa fantasy.

Montecarla is a new Italian duo born from the idea of creating the soundtrack to a film that doesn’t exist. Blending modern disco, Italian library music and playful cinematic flair, they turn the sensual and ironic mood of 70s/80s erotic soundtracks into something fresh and contemporary.

Their debut album, “Primo Appuntamento,” introduces the Montecarla universe: a fictional Mediterranean city where elegance, desire and mischief shape the music’s identity. Real instrumentation, theatrical details and a refined groove transform each piece into a miniature scene familiar, yet entirely reinvented.

Montecarla position themselves at the crossroads of nostalgia and innovation, offering a stylish, compact sound ideal for playlists exploring Italian groovers, nu-disco, lounge atmospheres and retro-future aesthetics.

Dam-based don Retromigration steps into the big leagues letting loose his debut album on WOLF Music. An LP that has long been in the works and for good reason too. Fourteen expertly executed tracks that range from hazy beats and jazz-tinged broken rhythms to club-ready groovers, deep excursions, soulful footwork and even some jungle energy. A flavour for every occasion and damn it tastes good.

With an envious run of releases on the likes of Handy, Healthy Scratch, wewillalwaysbealovesong and WOLF in a relatively short space – Retormigration is hot property and it’s clear to see why. A distinctive style and energy permeate his tracks with a breadth of influences on offer, from hip hop, to jazz, soul to funk. You just know a long player from this player is going to cover all bases.

His debut LP, Straight Foxin’, is a carefully curated and crafted journey showcasing the creative explosions firing off in Retromigration’s brain. Joining the dots between genres, taking elements from here, ideas from there – twisting and turning yet never out of place. Take the opening three tracks, all tied together by a deep fondness for jazz but served up in different styles, ‘Kunta’ with that hazy beatsy blend, ‘Formant’ leaning into the realms of broken beat and DnB and ‘Be Someone’ cruising with the off-kilter house.

Elsewhere there’s prime examples of Retromigration’s signature sample-laden house with deeper cuts like ‘Mada’ and ‘Bouncer’, sitting side by side with more soulful explorations such as ‘New Cribs’ and ‘ITWT’.

Not one to be pigeonholed, another course of Retromigration’s expansive taste gets served up with four high energy hits. The bouncing footwork flavours of ‘Kush Love’ ft. Passion Deez and ethereal excursion ‘What If’ lead into a captivating nod to the heydays of jungle and DnB on ‘Mild Fever’ and ‘Bad Knees’ respectively.

Straight Foxin’, mad flexin’ – Retromigration has laid down the law with this LP, a debut album done right.

We are very proud and honoured to present our next release from one of the scene's most respected artists. Seba blesses Inperspective Records with 2 slices from his diverse repertoire and they do not disappoint.

'No One Dies' harks back to an earlier time in Seba's catalogue. A simple, effective amen rinse out with atmospherics that lend themselves to a dystopian sci-fi epic is truly sublime and has been smashing down dances across the planet.

'Island Dub', the more subtle of the 2 tracks is blissed out lo fi underground jungle of the highest order and something of a departure for both artist and label, however still maintaining the integral ethos of Inperspective Records.
