U&A stalwart Rektchordz (aka Jamie Smithson) is back & firing on all cylinders with his latest bomb from the tech-funk trenches.

Leave it up to NYC label on the prowl to score some authentic yet modern day latin freestlyle. Hot latina Corinne croons about love and nightlife while her partner Brooklyn producer Josh Anzano does the dirty work. The result is a heart felt dancefloor banger that will sure to be thumping out of car trunks this summer.
For this single we get the original, a dub mix which nods to 80s style tape edits, and of course the mighty Runaway bomb of a remix. Runaway takes the vocals and lays them across a hands in the air chicago-esque drum machine groove spiced with live bass and speaker blaring pads. Very big indeed

The follow up to Greymatter's acclaimed Mind Over Matter LP and accompanying remixes that were released in February this year. This package features mixes from Altered Natives, Mr Lager, Milyoo and Klic

Anyone who ever has listened to a live performance or a record of Illeist Collective knows of the difficulty to describe the sound they come up with. Some say it's big beat, some say it's rock, electro or dance music. And as always, the truth is somewhere in between, somewhere along the lines of bands such as Soulwax, Digitalism or Friendly Fire. And the best way to find out is to listen to their energy-loaded, genre transcending and - most importantly - uncompromising music.

One of the most suitable places to experience the Illeists is surely the sweating stroboscope-atmosphere of an electro party. There the collective fires away with fat bass lines and driving live beats, thus creating the irresistible urge to dance along. The basic setup (bass, drums, synthesizers and vocals) is thereby often featured by special guests; just like on this first Roca Record release. Hence, a perfect match for a remix...

And so CMC&Silenta asked the great MC NineLive The Cat from Brooklyn NY for a vocal track to make a remix of the Illeist Collective song 'every time'. Without hesitation, NineLive The Cat fired some insane lines for what turned out be become an awesome remix. Armed with a perfect hook this track is definitely gonna make the party people go wild.

Funkanomics delivered an awsome remix again, like we probably expected. Straight beats, great keys sections and a bumbing bass line. They did it in their unique Funkanomics style that gets honored around the world. These guy delivered a huge party classic.

In addition, D*Funk smashed another perfectly produced remix of the original with everything a real remix needs - killer beats and tension one can't resist. And as always, the only thing that can actually make you see what we are talking about is the track itself. So check it out now!

'Count Wakula' is a big ragga funk beast. Relentless in its channelling of slap-bass, happening raps, obscure French bits, funky organs and really fat freakin' beats. This tune will rock your world ...and if it doesn't - you are dead already buddy!

MASSIVE NEW WIDEBOYS SINGLE WITH HUGE CROSSOVER POTENTIAL. MIXES FROM PROJECT BASSLINE & JACK ROKKA.

From HipHop Breaks over NuFunk to Breakbeats and even some Funky House rhytms, this is a maximum packed 6 track EP coming fom BigM Productions.

This next limited release is the result of another rummage through the archives. As with the previous two volumes of The Dust Off, this delivers a variety of genres and moods covering deep house, bass heavy electro and electronica.

The debut single from Herma Puma - the transatlantic hip hop production duo consisting of Simple X (USA) and Pimpernel Jones (UK). Having met through a shared love of golden era hip hop and dusty library music records, they crafted their debut album Synchromystic over the internet.

Disposable Rappers features vocals from Simple X's fellow Chicago native Sensei Of Soul, dropping J5 style flows over a club-friendly funk break-fuelled beat. On the flip Psyche Out is exactly what it says on the tin - a trippy DJ Format-esque break track - again perfect for the dancefloor.

Just announced VINYL release of her stunning debut.
Hers is the most anticipated debut album of 2010 and her name is on everybody's lips. Seldom before has a young artist so captivated the attention of a generation that she personifies. 'The ultimate it girl', 'the new electro pop sensation', 'totally in tune with the spirit of the times': these are just a few quotes from her reviewers. The delayed Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is finally complete. Uffie took her time, for after years of continuous whirlwind she needed to take a step back, put her bags down and concentrate on her writing. After years of partying and having fun, she says she wanted to show a different, darker side of herself. And although her ego trips and her club hitting tracks are still there, perfectly tailored and inextricably linked to her universe, her more introspective ones are the most striking. Her new single 'ADD SUV', recorded with Pharrell Williams, demonstrates exactly that. Uffie and the famous rapper poke fun at the American culture and its obsession for ostentatious signs of wealth. Denouncing the vacuous lives of rich suburban 'desperate housewives' who drive oversized SUVs, pop pills like sweets, sip cocktails in their private clubs and accumulate neuroses like a collection of handbags, they made an acrid and descriptive track that is the stuff of classics. Sex Dreams and Denim Jeans is full of classic tracks. The essential and always powerful productions come from her eternal accomplice DJ Feadz, and other talented old friends such as Mr Oizo, SebastiAn (Ed Banger Records) and Mirwais. She says he was the one who pushed her to have confidence in herself and challenge herself.

Beat Assassins' Urban Electro Project has achieved massive crossover appeal and gained support from Groove Armada to the Stanton Warriors, NAPT to Plumps DJs. Now it's now time to throw down part 4.

For our 24th release we wanted to go back to our classic Funk Weapons roots, and to do that we bring you Mash & Munkee aka David Hanke & Kolja Starkowski from Germany. They have produced three slices of supreme nu-funk goodness for all you break beat loving freaks. First off we start with 'Work it Out', a full on funk fest of horns, funky bass, and enough cracking break-beats to satisfy the nimblest of b-boys. 'Giving you the Funk' does just that, complete with a jumping live bass-line, building horns and hip hop vocals and groove that eventually builds up to a nice fat synth bass-line that takes the track to the next level. 'Make A Difference' gets all Ron Burgundy on us with some funky flute and smooth blaxplotation style horns and of course another funky bass-line to keep the kids body rocking. Finally we round out the package with Neighbour's remix of 'Make a Difference', who remixes the track in his signature future-boogie style, complete with honking bass-line and smooth chords and injects back in the horns and flute to make the whole thing jam perfect for those late night roller-disco vibes.

Here it is the first sampler extracted from the forthcoming Digital Base "Digital Era". This will be the very first album released on iBreaks Records ever, after 55 Singles and 1 compilation in the labels History. We think is about the time for some of our most representative artists to step up the game, and this is why we've programmed some LPs to be released in 2010.
This Sampler also brings quite a substantial change in Digital Bases style, coming back to the Breakbeat Essence and giving us two absolute bangers which will please everybody who loves Breakbeat music....
2010 will surely be a big big year for iBreaks Records and sister labels... and we cant wait to see how the year develops
