Paradox Music kicks off 2018 with it's first 12'' in a brand new Die-cut jacket.

The Bolide see's Paradox the label owner return to his early Certificate 18 days with it's cymbal-laden breaks twisting amongst sci-fi bells and eeiry samples.

On the flipside Paradox takes a leaf from his Dollis Hill handbook and delivers the head-nodding Dioxan with it's b-boy flavours and hypnotic drum loops for the Reinforced fans.

Originally released by label owner Monita in 1993, two brand new VIP mixes have been done by Ricky Force and Threshold & Jedi Hi-Fi especially for this vinyl release.
Both mixes have been getting noticed and played a lot in clubs and radio.

Returning to Metalheadz for the first time since 2010 we're delighted to have Seba grace the label with his 'Node 46' EP. The magical combo of Seba & Robert Manos head up the release with the Swedish producer also providing us with the dark and relentless title track on the other side. Two further digital bonus tracks complete an EP typical of Seba's incredibly unique style, one that he's so consistently built his reputation around.

Just like his 'Secrets' EP of last year, this latest instalment in Detboi's catalogue, entitled 'Ice Cold', merges elements of drum and bass, jungle, bass music, techno and more in exquisite fashion, quite simply like nobody else has done before.

The 5 track EP, 3 of which make it to the vinyl release, consists of pure breakbeat pleasure, with 'Blood Drops' leading the charge, a classy piece that elegantly rolls and seamlessly interchanges through various phases.

It's without doubt some of Detboi's most distinguished work yet, and we're delighted that it's opening the Metalheadz account for 2018.

Hot on the heels of the uncompromising musical composition that was John Rolodex's Illuminati of the Deep, we move forward once more with a solo EP of high quality music, and a new highly collectable format for those vinyl heads quick enough to grab a copy! ZeroZero are a duo on the rise. One of the latest in a long line of genre defining production talents to emerge from The Netherlands, Jesse & Sam have already amassed notable release credits with the likes of Shogun, CIA, Program & Cyberfunk to name but a few. Having released their Rhythm in Jungle colab with Teknian on Broken Audio back in 2016 as a free download, we sat back and watched it rack up over 2000 downloads via our Soundcloud & Facebook pages, clearly demonstrating it wasn't just us that wanted to hear more from them. A solo EP project was agreed, and just over a year later, the results are in.

Frankee's forthcoming 'Sanctuary' LP is a sensory representation of the journey he's taken since signing to Ram Records. From beginning to end, the album brings together every element of his production which embodies why Ram added him to their groundbreaking roster, it's a full spectrum look into the engineering he's built since first becoming enamoured by drum & bass. And this is his biggest piece of art to date, delivering a massive sixteen track selection with a host of featuring artists who have helped to build the diversity 'Sanctuary' offers. This year has already given a snapshot into what Frankee has built for this dynamic feat. Whether it's the softly spoken rhythms of 'In Your Eyes' ft. Charlotte Haining, or the grinding, percussive undertones of 'Skuttle', Frankee has ensured that every track pulses with versatility, but together, each track nods to the milestones which have helped Frankee create his career and energy within drum & bass. It's a package which reflects his artistry as well as his position within the twenty-five-year roster of pivotal imprint RAM Records. They've woven a path which is intertwined and from his single 'Black Heart' to his 'Sanctuary' album, his continued dedication and hard work has been evident from the very beginning.

Moresounds has left the training camp and is now at the controls of his own craft. A dub fanatic, he stays true to the techniques of King Tubby, and from behind his desk sends dancefloors crazy with pinches of hip-hop and jungle in his authentic and energetic live show. This approach caught the attention of Om Unit's Cosmic Bridge label in 2012 before his debut EP on Astrophonica in 2013. Since then his music has appeared on Doc Scott's 31 Recordings and has added trademark cosmic dub seasoning to Machinedrum's Vapor City project. An impressive start to his career, echoed in Fact Magazine's inclusion of the producer as one to watch in 2015.

Introducing a new label, with a direction, we proudly present Dispatch Blueprints, with the debut release coming from one of our favourite artists; Kid Drama.

Taking a deeper, more old skool inspired route, Blueprints sets itself apart from the other Dispatch labels, with a stronger emphasis on organic progression and building the vibe from scratch, savouring all the intricacies and adjustments along the way.

We've always been lovers of the roots / heritage sound that so many artists and labels have inspired us with until today so we're feeling privileged in being able to showcase this sound via our new imprint.

NickBee, or Nikolai Bogomolov to his friends, has been the staple diet of discerning drum & bass fans the world over for some time now. Having already released a steady stream of deep, dark and disturbingly good tracks, this Ukrainian producer is ready to show just why the likes of Ed Rush & Optical, The Upbeats and Invisible label owners Noisia have been jumping on his sound.

Ulterior Motive are finally ready to release their long awaited collaboration with DRS, 'Hey Judas'. Instantly recognisable and yelled for in seconds, this track has been doing serious damage wherever it's been dropped in the last few months. DRS lays down a sweet 16, and twinned with UM's razor sharp beats and bass, it's a deadly combination.

The AA side showcases a true master class in Modular madness, as the guys team up with technical Bristolian wizard DLR.

Growling itself all the way to the front, this sizeable slab of bass and percussion brings the funk and the vibe to the floor, bringing that 98 sound firmly up to date.
We're only at 002 in the Guidance catalogue and the bar has been resolutely raised. Watch out, there's so much more to come.

Edition 1 is a various artists compilation and the ninth release on Alix Perez' 1985 Music. The album is to be understood as a statement of intent as well as a snapshot where the label is right now.

Alix has assembled his favourite artists operating within the 85bpm / 170bpm axis and the result is a coherent album that cements ties with newcomers such as Monty, Deft and Tsuruda whilst also bringing new light to existing relationships with Fracture, Ivy Lab and Chimpo amongst others.

7th Storey Projects are delighted to announce an immediate return for Fushara to our label following the success of his previous release with us (Ascension/Nerve, cat number 7TH 12018, released October 2017).

Consistent with his previous output, this release contains two epic tracks which evoke the themes of industrial and urban decay which permeate much of his work.

We've found it hard to put the music into words, suffice to say they are true breakbeat fueled, sonic journeys that feature razor-sharp drum programming and foreboding atmospherics - a must for any jungle/dnb head with a penchant for their music thoughtful, dark and moody.

Fushara aka Thushara Goonewardene is a London based electronic musician working with breakbeats, samples and synthesiser. A constant theme for his music is urban decay. From the late 90's Fushara has been involved with the London scene as a raver, DJ, and Producer. He has produced experimental work for labels such as Pineconemoonshine, MJAZZ and more recently Scientific Recordings. In 2015 he set up an imprint Lone Foundation to showcase experimental bass music collaborating with DAAT and others. More recently he has made a return to work with breakbeat collaborating with Infest for one of his tracks on his debut on Criterion Records and has signed to Flex Recordings for a forthcoming EP.

Hola, amigos! Our next 12" comes from Mexico, delivered to you by the one and only Rodrigo Alvarez aka Rainforest, known already for his output released through Monochrome Recordings, Omni Music, Cadence Recordings, Skutta Records, or 45Seven. So once you're familiar with the said list of his affiliations, you might imagine what to expect. The most appropriate term for a common denominator to describe the content of this EP would be, let's say, 'jungle refurbished'. Feel more than welcome to explore Rainforest's world of beautifully-crafted complex drum patterns, low-frequency bass lines, and rich palettes of background samplework. We're positive that your early-morning cup of coffee can be well substituted with the powerful, fierce-percussioned 'Squad Nights'. The pensive, deep-end 'Blu Diesel Euphoria' will help you digest your daily concerns, and the exotic, desert-inspired 'Sound Tribe' will give you a strong energy boost. The digital bonus, 'Depth of the City', tones things down a bit, offering a perfect soothing ending to the whole story. Given a bowl of so varied ingredients, you can be sure that you get a really wholesome treat, especially if you're after something more organic. In terms of sound, that is.
