* D-Region is the founder of the Canadian independent label Furious Records and has worked with respected music groups like Universal/EMI, Moonshine, ZYX, Moist and Toronto's Nice and Smooth in his 12 years in the DnB scene. In his career, D-Region has landed four singles on Beatport's coveted Top 10 sales chart (drum n bass) and dozens of tracks on the Beatport Top 100. His single 'The Terminator's Theme' debuted at number 1 on Beatport when it was released in 2005. DJ Code hails from London and has been on a steady accent through the ranks as the latest addition to the Kool FM roster. His past releases on Emotif including 'Brainstorm' & 'Rudeboy Rebellion' with fellow producer Sketch were absolutely massive. It's good to see him back!
* Hustle From Born feat. Shutdown and Trinity Chris' is a synth-led powerhouse. It kicks off with a modulated lead line and dub skanks before a huge saw-wave bass heaves into motion over the pounding beats. *Fred V & Grafix, the dynamic duo from Devon, present their debut solo single on Hospital. Having garnered support from heavy hitters such as Annie Mac and Zane Lowe over at BBC Radio One, as well as regularly appearing on - and indeed hosting - Crissy Criss' BBC Radio 1Xtra show, Fred V & Grafix are a hot name, on the D+B scene as 2013 develops.
*Fred V & Grafix signed exclusively to Hospital in 2011. Their previous releases 'Find A Way' (on the '15 Years of Hospital' album,) "Major Happy" (on the "Sick Music 3" compilation) and most recently 'Purple Gates' (on the current 'Hospitality D&B 2013') has secured their status as adolescent anthem generators and brought them to the attention of the wider world. 'Goggles' is the boys' first standalone solo release, a four-track EP featuring the full spectrum of their sound. *'Autumn To Ashes' is truly unique. Spooky sonics a go-go; it's the moment in a B-movie horror where the cute college girls split up in the woods to find their way home. It's a white knuckle ride on a rickety ghost train. *Naturally 'Change' acts as the perfect foil. Dutch singer Sofie Letitre's vocals stop you dead in your tracks; surging, urging and distinctive. June Miller have brought the very best out in her as they ruthlessly lay the sub-frequency smack down beneath. Searing and tearing, the bass cuts through the mix like with razor-like charm while the weighty kicks double up at will, tripling on the fills for added drama. We're talking serious peaktime bizzle here; your crowd won't know what to do with themselves when this drops but go crazy! two of the top producers in the Drum & Bass scene. MJT, a producer hailing from
Greece, is well known for producing tracks that fuse jazzy elements with a deep
backdrop. His songs are being played by all the big deejays worldwide. Arp-1, is a
successful Spanish producer that has also been working his way to the top. With
many tracks signed to Good Looking Records, Soul Deep Recordings, and Black
Reflections, Arp-1 has released many floor filling songs that grace the record crates
of deejays across the globe. This release proves that these two producers are
pushing the music forward, pioneering a sound that is all their own.

The 'A' Side song, 'Souls In Motion', is an instant classic that will be played
in the clubs for years to come. MJT & Arp-1 team up to bring you a timeless Drum
& Bass anthem. 'Souls In Motion' features a punchy drum pattern, an underlying
amen break, cool rhodes keys, a wailing female vocal sample, and a low rumbling
sub bassline.

The AA-Side track, 'Silent Echoes', is a solo tune written by MJT. The track
takes the listener to another dimension with it's deep, mystical vibes. With big amen
drums, a deep piano hook, and a heavy 808 style baseline, this one will definitely get
the dance floor going.

Always daring to be different Sgn:Ltd offer up another release that pushes the boundaries of bass once more in a stealth move from London based Xtrah, an artist who's been steadily climbing the ladder with a string of successes on labels such as Critical, Subtitles and Symmetry amongst others. Without doubt one of the finest talents in modern day D&B.
- 'Shock Treatment' is a mean juggernaut of a tune with a very bad attitude to match. One for the Shogun soldiers, this has been throwing down at warehouse events over the past 6 months with devastating effect, full of drifting mentasm stabs, crunching breaks and a war mongering bassline to abuse the hell out of you! One to test your sound system with.
- Rolling on and 'Going Deeper' does just that with an eerie intro of warped fx and percussion before the sickest drop into a vintage Metalheadz flex of spine-snapping breaks and heavily edited kicks, matched only by an absolute monster of a bassline. Definitely Xtrah at his darkest, this is yet another gold seal release on what's quickly becoming one of the most exciting labels out there.

Andrew Tweedale and James Evans are Amoss, and, together with Horizons Music, invite you to take a trip inside the universe of Tangent.
* Tangent is the latest in a succession of high quality releases, coming as it does after sessions for Dispatch, Renegade Hardware and now, Horizons. As with the rest of their output, Tangent, which is backed with the Geode remix, shows off their technical abilities and their unifying desire to move the crowd. Their mutual love of music, and early experience in a range of bands, has transmogrified into a searing, urgent awareness of what is funky and groovy in d&b. Tangent, in the two forms on show here, will only increase their visibility and star status within the scene.
* The original version is classic Amoss. Building slowly and deliberately, the anticipation increases with every second. You're still on edge as the track rolls along, with melody intertwining with some smooth percussion, after the drop. The beat moves in later on, with some 80s-style synth work going on. Amoss prove that they are not just the angry young men of their techstep output, with some soul breaking through the multiple samples which will make Tangent one for the thinkers out there.
* Geode flips the script with a remix which offers a glitch, glimmering take on the track. Again working up slowly, Geode adds in clicks, ticks and a stuttering, skittering drum beat. The effect is different, but the dreamlike, almost filmic nature of the original is maintained. A really different spin on Tangent is captured through the remix, as it weaves and twists between your ears.
* Amoss present a varied, unique approach to music, and always have a fresh, undaunted sound to their tracks. Tangent is the best example yet of this young duo's work and with Horizons representing all that is exciting about bass music in 2013, you better get yourselves on this Tangent now.

*East London based Dark Manoeuvres is an independent record label specialising in the deeper side of Drum & Bass. For their debut release, Command strange steps up with three staggering tracks, compiled here to make the 'Takeover EP'.
*Command Strange stands as one of the most successful new producers of the last few years with releases on Integral, Metalheadz Platinum and Fokuz. His productions are renowned for being stripped-back with progressive evolutions throughout. This release is no exception.
*The EP kicks off with 'Takeover', a track that's already received support from the likes of DJ Randall and DJ Friction (BBC Radio 1). It sees Command Strange venture into one-bar-groove territory. After an atmospheric intro, it soon breaks out into an evolving low end roller that will leave you breathless.
*Next up, we have 'Tesla Underground'. Combining stark drums, dark, modulated drones and a deep bassline, Command Strange delivers a moody, bass heavy stepper to complete the physical release.
*As a digital exclusive*, the producer takes us back to his roots with 'Floor Shaker'; an Amen roller built strictly for the dance floor with a signature switch up that only the Kazakh prodigy could pull off.

Tokyo's Heavy1 scoops up top-drawer tech-roller skunks Craggz & Parallel for his new Yabai 84 project, and result is a typically tough yet pleasingly funky nugget of bashy tech filth. Face-slapping snares slam down amid gristly, scurrilous mid-range warpings, yet the knotty synths are laced with a bouncy, bullfrogging bass melody that burps and parps along in fine dancefloor style. Check the flip for Heavy1's own efforts: a stop-start technoid percussion trip that rattles and jars off to infinity.

Following a year-long break, LionDub International is proud to announce our return to wax with the rekindling of our long-standing
alliance with storied junglist Marcus Visionary, featuring vocals by reggae legend Johnny Osbourne. The first single from an
albumlong project, Rock it Tonight revisits Osbourne's 1986 smash We Gonna Rock it Tonight for the equally storied Jammy's
Records, but with an entirely new voicing and new lyrics. Marcus Visionary himself has had a long and storied career, starting on L
Double's old school Flex Records and moving forwards with other essential imprints like Revolve:r and his own Dance Rock Records
before making a solid connection with LionDub in 2009. Our strong support goes hand in hand with his inimitable style, and time and
again he's delivered massive releases that keep fans coming back for more. For this teaser to the album, Marcus steps up with two
contrasting versions of Rock it Tonight sure to cause ruckus on dancefloors. With digihorns, police sirens, and a skank sourced from
the song's original incarnation, for the original version the drums follow a bouncy reggae groove that keeps up the tempo but also
keeps a lighter mood. Tougher is his 'Jungle Remix', where busier breakage brings a rollicking classic jungle feeling. Together these
two mixes raise the bar high for the full-length, but given Marcus' track record here on LionDub, we have no doubt it will live up to the
highest of these expectations.

META006 Sees Lenzman return in the true style that only Lenz can, with the beautifully crafted 'Empty Promise'
*Featuring his now renowned and revered signature future soul sound, 'Empty Promise' glistens with that Lenz quality to provide a result that is nothing short of stunning.

Loadstar have delivered the next single from their forthcoming album 'Future Perfect' and it's an absolute stone-cold vocal stunner. Fronted by the emphatic, emotion-rich vocals of Takura Tendayi, powered by pummelling live drum energy, guided by a relentless, chugging riff and polished by crisp piano twinkles, 'Refuse To Love' is, without argument, one of the biggest productions Loadstar have composed to date.
* Takura is no stranger to the spotlight; his previous collaborations include Chase & Status, Plan B, Kano, Jack Beats and Example.
