Here we are with our 12th vinyl release. We're really proud of our back catalogue, and even prouder to be able to add more to it. And what better way to expand our portfolio than by inviting yet another exciting artist to join our 12" club. And this artist is Ricky Force - a man who's seen it all in the more breakbeat-oriented face of drum & bass, pushing his trademark intricate percussion programming since 1999, releasing quality music on labels such as Reinforced, Repertoire, Omni Music, Pinecone Moonshine, DSCI4 or 117, and now finding home with us.

Without further ado, here's Ricky Force and his latest single - a pair of not your usual 170-BPM masterpieces leaning heavier towards roots vibes, jungle, halfstep, and dub (Ricky's from DUBlin, so it makes total sense). "Ecstasy" starts with a looped vocal bit that leads the listener on towards a thick bush overgrown with full-bodied kicks, sharp, frantic breaks, and a bassline composed of massively booming bits that are bound to keep you on your toes, especially if you have the chance to enjoy it on some proper soundsystem.

"Firehouse Dub" is, in turn, a solid halfstepper strongly rooted in jungle revivalism. It marches slowly and steadily, unfolding some interesting stories on the way - a series of thickly-arranged broken beats, a pack of blares, some vocal bits here and there. Put together, they create an amazing mixture of classic sounds organized up to modern-day standards with surgical precision only Ricky Force is capable of. A true feast for all those into the less polished and more true-school shades of drum & bass.

Back once again with the ill behaviour, this time the B-boys providing the breaks, dukin' the system, just go with the flow.

This 4 Track EP with 3 Unreleased VIP mixes of the original tracks and 1 extra unreleased track from 93. Written and Produced by S. McCutcheon (Syko) & R. Haigh (Omni-Trio) under the name 'Persons Unknown'. These group of artists collaborated on a number of tracks which were released on the Candidate Records label (a sublabel of Rob’s in-house label, Parliament Music). However, there were a number of unfinished, archived and VIP remixed tracks that are now scheduled for release on Blueskinbadger Records.

“ One day in early 91 a customer (Syko) came into my shop and played me a rave tune that he had produced on an Amiga. I was so impressed that I offered to put it out even though I didn’t have a label at that time. I then started to fuse my own existing ideas with the new possibilities of sequencing and sampling. Omni Trio grew out of this experimentation, around this time the Parliament Label was born...” - Rob Haigh

Chapter three of this excellent old school series, Jay Cunning from We Are Hardcore says "InnerCore has perfectly captured the early Prodigy vibe. Top marks!’

FFF returns once more to 7th Storey Projects bringing with him four cuts of his killer brand of jungle.

We welcome The Charm to the stable, who needs little introduction to hardcore heads as his classic 'De-Men-Tation' is rightly hailed as one of the most iconic tunes from 1992 - along with a raft of other much-loved tracks on his 'Bass Overdose' imprint.

This EP features 4 wonderful, previously unreleased tracks that showcase his unique take on breakbeat hardcore - seamlessly blending elements of rave, techno, jungle and hip-hop into something by turns dark, light & fun - but with one thing in common across all the tracks - head-nodding listenability that will leave a smile on your face and have you reaching out for those imaginary lasers!

Mutant Joe returns on Natural Sciences with his debut vinyl release 'Operation Chaos' merging underground trap and hoop electronics. Guest collaborations from Freddie Dredd, YVNCC and Julien Andreas.

Official Hedgehog Affair Remixes by Ron Wells.

Kicking your bassbins - PZG & Dubsknit aka WE ROB RAVE from poland dropping four tracks of upfronted happy hardcore that has been melanged with juke, trap and jungle mashup technics.

Refreshing, ruff & ready sounding white label that’s landed out of nowhere, pulling on sounds from the early days of FWD>> as well as old-skool hardcore and 8-bar grime.

Decibella makes her debut on AKO and we are so excited about this one. Outta London has been a favourite on the dancefloor for a while now and been a highly requested track.

This will be Decibella's first vinyl release and we are so proud. Decibella will be one to look out in the near future and you can expect more on AKO.

Debut release on Cantina Cuts by Radicall, featuring four authentic hardcore tracks.

* Believe it or not, but it's almost a quarter of a century since Liquid's Top 20, gold-selling Sweet Harmony first stormed the UK charts and 2017 sees Liquid return with the brand-new Energy Flows; an album rich in the authentic '91/'92 London sound and style...

* 12 slamming tracks, fully capturing the atmosphere and dynamic of this classic and pioneering era in British dance music, Energy Flows features the dub-heavy beats of No Hooligans and Rude Boy alongside the early-'90s vibe of It Is What It Is - its firing breakbeats and beautiful strings and pianos, evoking the definitive Liquid sound.

* Now based in sunny Rome, Liquid's Eamon Downes explained: 'the concept and goal behind these sessions was so clear, this project has me buzzing like the heyday of rave. And my biggest vices these days are coffee and gelato.'

* An ultra-limited run of 500 triple-pack vinyl albums, catch Energy Flows while you can - it's essential listening for new and old ravers alike.

* This triple pack LP is the 100th release from Kniteforce Records, and is a showcase for the brand new 'old skool' styled hardcore. Containing a spread of big name artists from the originals, such as Liquid, Hyper On Experience, Luna-C, Alk-e-d, Dj Ham and Future Primitive, to newcomers such as Pete Cannon, Alex Jungle and Ant To Be, every track slams home the new old sound of today (yesterday) with the style and competence expected from the Kniteforce Family. Full of variety, and the very essence of the music from 1991 - 1996, this is not to be missed!

* Idealz EPs are few and far between, but when they arrive they are always unique. Once again, he brings an EP with a truly individual sound, and this time, its on clear orange vinyl! There is literally no one who shares Idealz's unique vision when it comes to making music, and this EP is no exception. All 4 tracks are is usual mix of drum'n'bass, hardcore, old skool and a kind of relentless wonder and experimentalism. You can never be 100% certain where a track is going to go, but you can be certain the bass will blow speakers and the journey will be marvelous. My personal favourite on the EP is "Gettin Warm" which I think is an exceptionally bold track that makes me want to leap about like a loony, but all 4 tunes are simply brilliant, with a level of style and class that makes Idealz....Idealz.

* TNO Project is widely known and respected for his heavy beats, sinister strings, and his ability to mesh dark and light combinations with perfect precision. His 2nd full Knitebreed EP continues to build on his legacy, with a strong underground vibe and deep bass lines. Like his label mates, Ant To Be and Wislov, TNO has a wonderful old skool feel, made more remarkable by the fact that TNO, at 18 years old, is really too young to be this talented. "Eradicating Deviants" tricks you into thinking a full happy anthem is about to happen before bringing the darkness, while "Oneirology" is a more uplifting slice of proper old skool that would have been perfectly at home on Homegrown Records back in the day. “Exitus Letalis” keeps to a similar vibe with a lovely traditional sound, and the whole EP is rounded off with the stunningly beautiful, if titley challenged, "Mendacium & Spem"!

Kniteforce and Just Another Label (owner of the Bear Necessities Sub Label) have been friends since the early 90’s, so when JAL wanted to remaster and repress some old and much sought after classic EPs, it was only natural for Kniteforce to take on that roll. Here we have the fifth of those EPs, and its perhaps the rarest of them all, often changing hands second hand for over $200. A big one for the old skool collectors worldwide…

"A massive thanks to Mike and Blueskinbadger Records. When someone knocks on your door and tells you that your old tunes from over 20 years ago are still being played and appreciated and that they want to re release them again. What more can I say. Happy f###ing days, smash the s##t out of it ! - Iain Clifton"

Raggatek, high resolution sound ! A big dancefloor Weapon again. LIMITED !

Sunny & Deck Hussy have quickly become firm favourites with almost everyone who hears them, because they have been making tune after tune, and each one of them has been stronger than the last. This EP continues their amazing run of big tunes, with Hayley's Comet being the standout on a standout EP. Absolutely brilliant in all respects, this EP is a winner and a half. And its only a taste of things to come, with an impressive remix for Hyper On Experience about to land, amongst other huge projects. So get on the Sunny & Deck Hussy train / comet before its too late...

Following the huge success and subsequent instant sell out of Sublove Legacy Volume 1, Kniteforce shocks the world by bringing out Sublove Legacy Volume 2. Once again, a superb selection of remastered classics with a few tasty remixes from Kniteforce head honcho Luna-C and Knitebreeds underground mayhem master T.N.O Project thrown in for good measure

After more than 2 decades, Dj Force & The Evolution are back, and in a big way. Returning to the label that first released their music, the Scream EP mirrors KF03, their first release in lots of fun ways. Bright blue vinyl, the same old skool looking label, complete with mistakes (33/45 bpm? What?), the same needle moving nonsense in the A side grooves, and of course, 3 superb tracks guaranteed to move the dance floor and destined to become classics in their own right!

Jungletrain resident Trainspotter debuts on Vivid’s first black label
series release. Spaced out ambient pads, noisescapes, and sparse
percussion take you far out and bring you to a place entirely new and
yet somehow familiar. This series is dedicated to individual, abstract
conceptualizations of the jungle / drum n bass landscape, exploring
freedom from formulaic beats while taking you to the fringe of
160-170+ bpm music. Fading Train EP is a truly unique take on this and excellent for bringing a sense of space to busy mixes.

777 returns with its second remix EP expanding the affairs from house to jungle by four special guests!
