The time has come for Suolo to revisit Aforisme’s shelves. Time passes and the outputs from the Bucharest-based artist are achieving a league of its own, with Echilibru EP being another chapter of the artist’s sonic adulthood. Keeping things simple: two efficient compositions, harmonised layers, out of sound experiences, all of them under the roof of a distinct and appealing idea.
EP named track - Echilibru - outsets gradually and its elements sink in the most subtle ways. They don’t go too far from what the usual Suolo would bring to your ears, yet every piece that comes from him is particular in its own way. All of them together are just pages of a bigger book. With a bass that dominant, a lead pad lurking between the low and high, some casual yet organised whispers, Echilibru epitomises a very danceable melancholy. The unison of everything mentioned above lets us explore beyond the initially set limits as more time you spend listening, farther it takes you into the world of abundant emotions.
Safe to admit that if you take the drums out of Suolo’s tracks, they become adventurous movie soundtracks. That’s exactly what happens during Pyunik, not only would it be adventurous without drums but also incinerates a state of internal wandering. While both the artist and listener are looking for paths during the process of composition/audition, they cross very often on the B side of this record. The elements are all from Suolo’s list of usual suspects, yet Pyunik is the proof of his mastery at recycling the so familiar sounds into new states and emotional rollercoasters. B side is about the entourage created around the deeply ingrained kick. Heavy and competent.
Would it suit a packed floor at 4am or an empty room audition in an intimate setting? We truly believe that Echilibru EP could fit both with zero back-thoughts. It’s full of energy and it gives you the full control on how to handle it.c

EP of four tracks can be called a canonical example of a groovie and deep melodic house.
The first composition, St. Terrace, perhaps the most dynamic, as if personifying the rhythm of a megapolis, which is quietly observed from an open terrace.
The next track Tsvir laconically continues the given rhythm, however it looks more thoughtfully and less swiftly. The minimalistic sample row lays itself brightly on the dense groove.
Side B opposite, takes the listener from the city to the natural landscapes.
Fat dub and soft bass sound quite familiar, but fresh at the same time.
The final track Nebosvod is the softest and dreamy. Rhythm overflows and synthesized melodies create a feeling of lightness and space. As if there were no borders. And it really don't exist for human imagination.
In general, Construction B is very light and bright work. Such music brings to mind the endless natural spaces. Gorgeous for both simple listening and for a good dance workout in the evening.

There is great excitement in the kingdom of Monaberry. Hordes of Vulcans have invaded the human territory, and Grandpa Herbert needs a vast amount of ore to forge enough chocolate marshmallows to enable his army to withstand this threat. Anyone who does not obey the law is sent to the huge penal colony of Khorinis in these dark times to mine the ore needed.
The entire area known as "The Colony" is surrounded by a magical boundary; an area with a diameter of two kilometres, which completely seals the penal colony from the rest of the world. The border can be crossed from outside to inside, but once inside you can never escape again. The border became a double-edged sword however, because the prisoners saw an opportunity for revolt. The colony was now divided into four groups, and the king was forced to make a trade for his ore, rather than simply claim it. Each group sent its best artist and was forced to present the king the most important piece of music. For the blue group came Super Flu and brought Trombarossa. From the pink group Viktor Talking Machine was sent and presented Lars. Bar.ba came from the black group and served Rain. The green group sent Dorian Craft and Baron, and were the last to arrive with Azur.
You are thrown across the border in the middle of this prison. You will have your back to the wall, you will have to try to survive and form volatile alliances until you can escape at the end. And only these 4 tracks can help you.

We're excited to announce a new face to our label roster: DkA, hailing from Brussels, arrives on Break New Soil with a storm of a release! When Ugur Akkus, founder of Extrema Belgium and a close friend of ours handed these tracks to Gregor Tresher when he played a show at his infamous Labyrinth Club in Antwerp earlier this year, Gregor listened to the music on the flight back home and before the airplane even touched the ground he was convinced to sign the tracks immediately!
Ever since - Solar , the A-Side track, that Antoine composed together with Jon Mosto, has been one of the peaktime moments in Gregor's sets. Born in quarantine when nature sounded much louder than usual, VozTerra a local non-profit organization invited people to listen to nature in 'Sounds from your window'. Ne.Hau is back on the scene with a brand new EP titled "Rock Bottom," available via Still Play Records. The release features 4 songs, each setting the bar higher in terms of creativity and vision. The title track, "Rock Bottom," immediately lures the listeners into the mood of this EP, going for a textural atmosphere and some edgy beats, channelling tech-house elements and more. "Hauling Ass" is a distinctive track, which is one of the highlights on this release, due to its minimalism and old-school textures. The warmth of the glitchy sonics in the background, as well as the warped vocal parts, create a unique listening experience, breaking the flow of this EP to perfection. "Woke A Late" is a quintessential tech-house jam. The song begins with a minimalistic beat, which consistently grows into a more developed sonic soundscape, with darker sounds and ominous effects adding to the listening experience. It almost sounds like pipes and bells being slammed in an underground cave, as the beat rages on for one of the most engaging and atmospheric bangers on this EP. Last, but definitely not least, there is even some room for a stellar remix curated by Michael Rosa. This composition has a dynamic feel and a fast-paced tempo, with a growing progression and a rich arrangement.

The time is now, the time is ARA: A brand new label from Daniel Kyo & Veryan, where presence is at the centre of everything.
Literally translating to ‘now’ in his native Valencian, ARA will map Daniel’s exploration between his own local roots and his personal connections and spiritual affinity with Japan. The journey starts right here with his own EP under his Core alias that first emerged on Hivern Discs last year.
’15 Years’ acts as the consummate mission statement; a hypnotic rolling slice of mystic tech noir armed with a bulbous bottom end and trippy, existential voice over. Its groove and prominence is compounded by the killer remixes; Crayon don Mark Ambrose flips it into kinetic funky tech version with strong moments of paranoia and sonic freakery while rising Spanish dreamweaver Marc Piñol cracks the cosmic whip and extends the track into a much foggier, trippier affair.
The mission statement ends with full intent as Daniel returns to the Core of the matter for the finale ‘Kaizen’. A lavish, evocative voyage, powered by another one of Kyo’s signature immersive juggernaut grooves, once again the connection and ambition is clear: translating to ‘improvement’, ‘Kaizen’ surges with a sense of hope, uplift and exciting plans for the future. Runemark Records gladly presents the eighteenth release and a third compilation in the series Runes #3'. Compilation includes four tasty and colourful compositions from four different artists each with their own and unique sound.
Compilation starts with a brilliant Maroca' created by Ten Walls. A beautiful deepness with dark atmospheres and full of tribal elements is a wonderful introduction into the whole release.
Second composition in the side A comes from Justin Cholewski called OB6'. Justin's amazing debut on Runemark Records delivers dark Techno sounds with trippy arpeggios and groovy percussion.
Side B starts by Black Water's energetic Daily Charges'. The creative duo has brought a fresh groovy House track with some Techno and deep atmospheric chords.
Last but not least Evolution' comes from Phun Thomas to close the compilation. A minimalistic Techno banger with Electro synths and engaging structure built to make one move.

after a brief spell away from the label, releasing, Niko Maxen returns to his home ground with 2 originals and invites a couple of his favourite producers to join the party. NIko’s originals show off his stripped back low slung sound while Viceversa makes it a melodic affair. Vlad Arapasu rounds off the record with a darker interpretation.

Coming hot on the heels of their debut release (a stunning record by ROAR), French imprint WORK IN PROGRESS returns here in triumphant and eclectic fashion courtesy of a record that does their reputation as serious party-starters no harm at all. Again featuring the talents of ROAR, this is a dizzyingly eclectic record that fans of smile-induing house and disco are sure to admire especially. The A1, the title track, ‘I Wanna This Record’ is a case in point. A really vibe-heavy disco-centric track that’s notable for its killer vocals and acid techno flashes, it’s an unlikely gem of the sort that will light up any floor. For their contribution, London duo The Willers Brothers turn the track on its head, opting instead for a more straight-up, 4/4 remix. Muscular and full of wonders, it’s without doubt a neat addition to the original’s charms.
The B side sees ROAR side up with Zolbaran courtesy of another cheeky and playful track, ‘Neukolln Baila La Bamba’ Starting toward pop sensibilities in a manner not dissimilar to Kompakt, this one pulls at the heartstrings in much the same way that Gui Boratto’s best work does. An emotive, pleasure-seeking cut that’s hard not to love, that’s for sure. Closing out the release is the no-less assured sounding strands of ‘Modulando El Piano’, which sees ROAR & Zolboran go toe-to-toe with Nico Forster for a sultry, piano-heavy gem that’s never boring and always unpredictable. Unconventional sounds that evoke memories of Perlon and Kompakt, WORK IN PROGRESS’ latest is a joy to behold.
