SHDW & Obscure Shape launch new label Mutual Rytm with powerful eight-track V/A "Federation Of Rytm I", featuring VIL & Cravo, Lars Huismann, Grindvik and more.

Favourites for many within today's modern techno landscape, Stuttgart-based pairing Marco Blasi and Luigi Urban, aka SHDW & Obscure Shape, continue to grow their profile and position as artists leading the current new wave of techno. Having launched their first label From Another Mind in 2014, releasing material from themselves alongside remixes from the likes of Rodhad, James Ruskin and Dax J, early December welcomes the arrival of a new project and a second imprint to the fold, Mutual Rytm.

Showcasing a new dimension of techno and electronic music, celebrating originality and innovation by combining timeless cuts from the past with cutting edge sounds of the present and the future, the label will serve as a breeding ground for new artists alongside established talent and legends from the scene. Opening the imprint in style, the label bosses head up the first-ever release and the first V/A "Federation Of Rytm I" as they welcome a selection of new and established talent.

"Since the beginning of the global pandemic, we have been diving deep into the roots of our music and working on the aesthetics of our sound. That's when we realized that now is the right time to start a new project which differs from FAM, in both musical and artistic direction. The project will showcase a new dimension that aims to channel the authentic perspectives of both established and up-and-coming talents. With our new label, we want to give all artists the opportunity of musical freedom and expression of their versatility as producers. The duos rolling opener "Conquest Of Paradise" quickly sets the tone and builds to reveal a classy and slick offering, combining rich stabs with tough drums and sharp hats, while Invexis keeps the tempo high as he weaves escalating synths and pacy kicks across "Elektronenwind". VIL & Cravo combine on the jacking and lively "Apolonia Loop", as eerie synths work amongst warped vocals across a tweaked out peak-time effort, before Alarico keeps the energy levels up throughout the relentless funk of "I'm Into You".

The second half of the package sees Lars Huismann enter the fray with the no-nonsense, snaking grooves of "Hyper Dub", with Nicolas Vogler's "Sauva Bite" fusing hypnotic tones with straight regimented claps for an intense yet playful ride through sounds and sonics. "Your Dry Lips" switches up the aesthetic as Grindvik journeys down a wormhole of metallic percussion and warping low-ends, before closing the show with authority via Stigmata's grinding and menacing offering "Gestas".

Berlin-based truthspeaker returns with a full-length Album with 9 new tracks. With forcefully driven rhythms and mystifying atmospheres, they have made previous appearances on labels such as PUPPY, Post Hoc, Ectopic, and Massive Gain while also playing worldwide, from Berlin’s Berghain to touring the North American underground, making appearances throughout New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Providence, Portland, Richmond, Baltimore, and Nashville. The artist has built a reputation for delivering a transcending, occasionally unpredictable, yet intensely immediate listening experience for the dance floor. Citing previous experience in noise and experimental music, truthspeaker is establishing a functional yet disruptive sound, opening up obscure spaces within the confines of the harder edges of dance music.

A massive european Techno collaboration !!

After releases on Involve Records and Arts we’re very happy to present you Turin based duo Exilles that signs the third vinyl release of 24/H Records.

Marco and Norberto spent one day at Tempio del Futuro Perduto Studios (24/H Records HQ) working with personal and resident machines to craft out Night Illusion EP: 2 tracks journey into purest form of their sound.

A full immersion daily session after a tour through Tempio's walls generated acid, spatial, overdriven but melodic cuts: A1_Night Illusion opens the release supported by dreamy A2_Remix from 24/H Records resident MBM and then continued with B1_Rupture with dedicated B2_Remix signed by Label Owner Marthial.

Perfectly reflecting the sonic profile of the artists these 4 cuts are designed to massively hit the dancefloors.

All tracks were written and produced within 24 hours.

Almost 7 years ago we started working on the ANAØH project and since then we have not stopped, we did not believe that the way to celebrate another year was another than publishing an special release. So we decided to open the door of our house and invite 2 of our great inspirations to work with us on a project full of love, respect and gratitude.

ANAØH INVITES is the new annual series, in which both Dig-It and Fixon as hosts of the label invite 2 artists to join them and release original 4 tracks on a special edition translucent 12' vinyl.

In this first chapter, we have invited two great artists whom we respect and have a deep admiration. Their work have been a source of inspiration for all the team. They are James Ruskin and Ben Sims, fundamental base of the evolution of the British Techno sound, who have delivered 2 magnificent tracks, which represent the experienced path that they have carved for more than two decades each. These join 2 other powerful tracks from Dig-It and Fixon to give an extremely interesting joint result, pure TNT techno.

We feel honored and moved to have this first collaboration, which we hope will please everyone!

Darzack debuts on Take Hit Records with three thunderous techno cuts entitled ‘A Night Lulled By Cupid Cygals’ EP including a remix from Bristol’s JoeFarr.

Growing up the artistic hub of Brittany in France, Darzack’s intensive drum and percussions training, piano and singing lessons led him to begin experimenting with electronic music and hardware discovery.
Darzack’s productions create bridges between various musical styles becoming a huge musical melting pot featuring floaty melancholic moments, acid touches and breakbeat inspirations which has earned him sets at clubs and festivals in and around France such as Les TransMusicales, Piknic Electronik, Festival
Panoramas and more. ‘A Night Lulled By Cupid Cygals’ EP sees Darzack invite South London Anlogue
Material, Arts and Power Vacuum artist JoeFarr for remix duties as they join the Take Hit imprint following
releases from Eastel, Benabou, Tomar, MAZE and EKLPX.

‘Fucking Masked Depression’ formulates growling oscillations, relentless percussion and chaotic synthesis
before ‘Illegal Things’ deploys obscure atmospheres through reverberating bass grooves, syncopated
drums and eerie vocals shimmering above.

On the flip, ‘Stop Crying’ lays down fast-paced drums, rising pads and cosmic leads driving the energy into
oblivion until JoeFarr’s remix of ‘Fucking Masked Depression’ rounds off the EP with machine-like tones,
uplifting break-downs and dystopian modulations that continue to shatter throughout.

Flowing energies and social pressure, high expectations and pathetic fails, driving rhythms and cheerless inertia, so-called integration but effective exclusion; these are some of the opposite poles reeled out of the debut full-length delivery of Glass Knot (Lasse Bjørck Volkmann aka Metalized Man, and Nicolai Vesterkær Krog aka Misantrop) on Foul-Up. 'Present Tense', is a multi-level sonic object whose large-scale reach only equals the profoundness of the tale of love and hate it discreetly tells - in between the lines. Laying down a hot-blooded mixture of warped industrial rhythms, chopped-up breaks, off-kilter drones and hi-NRG anti- techno with a strong punk attitude, the seven tracks blaze their trail away from expectations and norms.
