4 Tracks EP focused to get people moving and influenced by Disco, Lo-Fi, Soul and without forgetting the Groove!

For their tenth anniversary, Lucidflow return to physical media with a value packed slice of wax. Klartraum and co-owner Nadja Lind feature, alongside production behemoth D. Diggler, Klartraum partner Helmut Ebritsch and special guest slot for returning artist Spettro.

Nadja leads off at full tilt with a high energy workout on 'Holistic Kit', teaming tumbling drums with sci-fi synths and poignant key changes. With high tempo techno and the return of synth led music being a key theme from 2018, this is absolutely on the money. Pairing with the usually rambunctious D. Digger, 'Mekong Delta' is more contemplative. Named after the Vietnamese region, the track is as hypnotically undulating as the river that runs through it.

Then, joining up with fellow Lucidflow co-owner Helmut Ebritsch, 'Weltenwandler' is a typical Klartraum workout. Ocean deep, the key aspect to lock on to here is the rising and falling dub chord that underpins the track. It goes from a supporting rhythmic tone to lynchpin of the evolving melody which creeps in sneakily as the track evolves. Finishing off the release is 'Lunch With Kerri' from Spettro. The Little Helpers and Get Physical artist returns to Lucidflow with a particularly on point piece of jazz flecked broken down techno. Full of energy, it is a crackling highlight, and a little taster of what is to come from this artist on Lucidflow in the near future.

Next up for our 6th release we deciced to change it up and put together a VA with 4 different collab duo's each bringing a different vibe and style to the release!

With Ousia, Joachim Spieth presents the third long player on his label Affin. The follow-up album to "Tides" creates imaginary spaces, translates ephemeral impressions and condenses them into cinematic soundscapes. The eight pieces illustrate an intense and emotional journey that creates expressive relationships between external and internal perceptions.

In addition, the piece "Mutuus" reveals an enchanting and so far unique collaboration between Markus Guentner and Joachim Spieth, after the two musically shaped Wolfgang Voigt's first release of the compilation series "Pop Ambient" more than 20 years ago.

Soblazn Music presents the label's first vinyl offering with a VA containing 4 thrilling underground cuts. With splashes of darkness, rich sub-bass and cutting production, these tracks provide a unique range of dance-floor energy crossed with an introspective depth and style- essential for minimal and microhouse lovers.

The third vinyl release on Manjumasi comes from enigmatic Ukranian producer Silat Beksi, whose work shines in its expertly honed details. Each of his productions is infused with an intricate sense of groove and texture ​—​ one is left with the feeling that describing his sound as “minimal” does not do it justice.
Over the course of many vinyl releases, he has shown himself to have a unique sonic touch, a style that is best described as his own.
The A-side features two works. Lead track DNA is a moody affair with an extremely deep descending bassline that anchors the low-end, while atmospheric pads develop above. The track is imbued with a feeling of life, evolving, emerging from the shadowy mists. This is followed up by Frozen, a more groove-forward number with an emphasis on trippy melodic details and vocal edits that keep the ears constantly engaged.
On the B side is Light In The Darkness, a meditative but driving track with a long and very deliberate energetic build. As the name suggests, this one conveys a sense of optimism, with wide pads that evoke new possibilities opening ahead.

Norse Projekt returns with another episode of Micro House infused Rominimal goodness, this time courtesy of Massud Matin with a remix from Argentinia Alan Castro.

Third instalment of Back To Black series, Vol. 03, is out now on Steyoyoke Black. Nick Devon, Clawz SG, Soul Button, Darko Milosevic and Never Lost combined their talents to create a very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. The three-tracks EP, which is available only for purchase on vinyl, is an energetic package of ethereal yet driving techno tunes, aimed at the club. Stay tuned for more releases from this ongoing project. Back To Black will continue to unleash more poignant techno vibes.

VAULT SERIES’ 25th release sees label owner Subjected collaborate with Andrejko to release four haunting cuts entitled ‘Vault Series 25.0’.

Founded by Subjected in 2010, VAULT SERIES’ first 25 releases have seen Subjected give a platform to artists such as Sawlin, Mørbeck and his own music focusing on the raw, industrial side of
techno with heavy distortion and experimental edged soundscapes. Over the past ten years VAULT SERIES’ consistent musical output of timeless releases made the Berlin label become a key player of
the techno community worldwide. ‘VAULT SERIES 25.0’ sees the label owner Subjected collaborate with Andrejko again following their ‘Format’ EP together on Subjected Systems last year.

‘Pitchfork’ begins proceedings with heavy, distorted kicks scattered around eerie modulations and winding elements before ‘Pain Management’ follows with sinister lead synths, growling resonations and brutal textures throughout.

On the flip, ‘On’ deploys shimmering percussion, hypnotic oscillations and churning murmurs keeping the atmosphere dark yet intriguing. ‘Medication’ then rounds off the EP with pacey, drum progression and fizzing synths fusing with machine-like sound design and energetic grooves.

Following our deep & dubby vibes, this time is our good friend from Argentina, Prodot, as usual, no digital promotion and limited edition.

LOy has had a string of successful releases and we just fell in love with his sound so asked him to write an ep and boy did he deliver. The mixture of folklore is palpable in each track, incorporated into the interstices of the background and other sound designs. This vinyl has launched a long series of vinyls that will each have a hidden mystery to be discovered...

After a slightly longer than planned gap since the last release, 3am is back on wax a little after its 16th birthday in June, with its final in the series of Various Artists EPs (maybe?), before moving to focus on artist-only releases. On the 91st release for the label, we welcome a couple of new additions to the roster, alongside established artists from the label's 16-year history.

Opening up the A-side is V.I.C.A.R.I, also known as Tommy Vicari Jnr; anyone buying and supporting vinyl will be fully versed in the work of V.I.C.A.R.I - the beauty is that you never really know what you might get, as releases across a multitude of high-profile vinyl labels have shown over the last few years. Here we get a dubbed and filtered warm roller, peaks and troughs flowing through the track as it develops. We've been huge fans of Tommy here at 3am for some time, so it's a pleasure to get him onboard.

Heading back to 3am is Fletcher (aka RJ Fletcher from back in 2011) whose recent solo work on Tactics has been receiving rave reviews, alongside cohort Alex Brown in their guise Adventures In Daydreams. The guys are split between Berlin and Manchester, so their In The City track fuses the influences of both; synth-led vibes with a minimal hint, but with a warmth running through the track which echoes the Northern deep house of the 90s & 00s. No wonder their last release was via the mighty 2020 Vision...

3am's boss-man Al Bradley teams up with long-time collaborator Carlo Gambino for a very special track on the label; A Nod To Roberto is a dubby cut in honour of Roberto Gambino, Carlo's Father who sadly passed away recently. It was his influence working with artists such as The Specials & Prince which led Carlo into the world of music. Here Al & Carlo head for a dubby cut with deep horns, and a little nod to Two Tone Records; a tip of the cap to Roberto, as the title explains. It's a real pleasure to bring this out via 3am, as Carlo has always been an integral part of the 3am family.

Finally we go into leftfield territory; originally out digitally via Manuscript a little while ago, Alixander III and his trippy freaky The Ritz has been a firm favourite in sets that 3am boss Al has played ever since release, and always felt that it would sound amazing on wax. So with big thanks to Vincent Inc at Manuscript, the wish has come true. A genuinely mad bleepy, freaky & trippy outing, which has a sparse drum pattern & no heavy kick, this is one for creating a bridge between vibes. Or you can just play it & watch people go mental, it's up to you! Your ordinary house track, this is not.

Berlin House Music launches its first vinyl only label: BHMWAX. An outlet for different styles of Underground House Music by "unknown" artists.

The first vinyl, BHMWAX001, includes 4 tracks from 2 "unknown" artists. The A-side starts with "Ours" a breaky House tune as a tribute to House Music. Followed by "Love" a proper dance floor mover driven by heavy pads and punchy drums.
The B-side starts with "This Beautiful Girl", a special treat for the after hours with a crazy evolving piano loop supported by heavy drum work and a driving bassline. Followed by "Sad" a 4x4 groove accompanied by warm pads, stabby bassline and melancholic melodies.

Tamango Records proudly announces the first album from label-head Yaya called “You Decide”, which draws from Yaya’s broad musical influences and his diverse multicultural background. The album is packed with brilliant percussive numbers, where Yaya manages to discover a common ground between his minimal roots and the most avant-garde tech-house, finding himself at ease in the 4/4 structure and often bringing into play his sister Karice on vocals.

The album opens with rattling tribal percussions and ethnic Yoruba chants provided by Karice for a proper mysterious intro that leads into “Be Yourself”, which again features catchy vocals from his sister. Here, Yaya plays with whirring synths, broken beats and infectious groove elements, while “Black Mamba” rolls with Yaya’s trademark groove of tribal percussions, bongos and toms, woven together with deep strings creating a vast sonic exploration that culminates into an epic dancefloor burner. Continuing on, “Ebi Awon” is about flashing synths, elegant organs, and a serious rough-edged rolling bassline, with astonishing Yoruba vocals by Karice providing the real deal. Up next is “One Way”, where Yaya chooses spacious kicks and refreshingly funky synths for a full high-octane track, whilst “Lost Beach” is a heady and rapid dancefloor brew with scattering percussions, slapping claps and unusual dark synths. Rounding out the package, “Love and Hate” features downsampled and digitalised pads with thoughtful bass strokes and gently swaying drums, suspending you into a smooth and seductive lo-fi space over its 7+ minute ride. On the outro, the mysterious Yoruba chants make their return, sanctioning, like an ancient prophecy, the end of this journey.

The second installment in the Rendr vinyl series. An EP packed with energy, exhilarating from start to finish and each with a touch of class. Nate S.U unleashes all his skills across three sleek originals.

Tiny Minds, A lively lead track. With piercing chord stabs, grooving drum elements and a suspenseful break down, this track is nothing short of a peak time slammer.

Quincy's One Two Groove is a smooth and suave flip to A1, Boasting a gristly bass line and some classic vocal hits.

Rum Strut, follows on the style of A1. Oozing excitement with an almost arrogant swagger, it sole objective is to make you dance.

Welcoming the Mannheim musical magician to the imprint with a remix of B1. He uses an analogous, razor sharp bass line as the main focus of the track from the start. Complimenting the original pads and vocals with frequent appearances throughout. A fine groover for sure.

Our fantastic friends artists also like to collaborate on some occasions and this is a great example of what can happen when two strong identities collide. Combining jazz-influenced instrumental snippets alongside seriously groovy beats, Nicolas Duvoisin & Reber deliver two quality originals. Pineapple features quirky jazzy piano elements supported by a driving shuffled rhythmic structure, ideal to transition from build-up vibes to the mid-night intensity. On the other hand, "Strawberry" is a deeper, more-intimate gem, sure to work nicely in the early hours of the morning. Last but not least, we are priviledged to include none other than One Records boss Subb-An, with a very efficient rework of "Pineapple"!

For their inaugural release, Los Angeles based label, Like.Minded teams up with Wyro, and his cutting edge, no-frills minimal. Title track Mirage kicks off the EP with a wandering yet driving arp rounded out by a masterfully compressed bassline. The A2, Monsoon and its blanket of grand piano offer up an understated, uplifting resolve. Sprouts brings the EP back to the dancefloor - but this time an ear catching breakbeat swing paired with a lush, pitch-bent chord and breezy vocal sample carry the mind to a deeper, more spacious place. Wrapping up the EP, BRYZ gives his take on Sprouts adding to the percussion a subtle shuffle and clean analog keys. Essential textured cuts for the discerning DJ. Vinyl only.

JJ Label boss Nico Mendez returns under his alter ego Modat for Johnny Johnny's second vinyl release, "Bauer Beat EP". JJW002 boasts 4 perfectly crafted deep minimal house groovers.

Late Night & Bauer Beat.
Late Night garners silky smooth chords and quirky squelching off beat stabs, which drop you right into sharp witty percussion rounded off with well places haunting vocals forming a really slick all round groover. Bauer Beat chugs along peppered with intricate pops and blippy percussion that break down to allow a catchy rhythmic talking vocal done by modat himself and rising hook to take over. This one really catches your attention.

B Side
Money Walk & Aug Bar
Aug Bar immediately wraps you with warm chords, gentle percussion and one off vocal samples and rich stabs that evolve perfectly over the course of the track. This ones a perfect warm up tool.

Money Walk is definitely the dark horse of the EP and for the right kinda reasons. With a heavy weighted kick supporting chunky thick off beat bass stabs and sharp kit this one WILL move some air.

Great to see Terminal M queen Monika Kruse teaming up with her buddies Pig&Dan again. It's been more than a year since their common single releases on Pig&Dan's label Elevate or Terminal M but the two guys from Mallorca have been very busy finishing their album, releases for Drumcode and their upcoming Space Ibiza CD. Meanwhile Monika travelled the world more than ever with her dj bag to bring the techno message to even more places.

When we recieved these tracks by Diego aka MRDIE from Rosario, Argentina in late 2016 we knew this is something special. We immediately felt in love with the melancholic approach and new wave-like feeling they transport. Second Seta Label vinyl presents label friend Dj M4SH and his new EP "The Message". It takes you to the world of delayed and filtered chords, pads and arpeggiators with rolling basslines. This solid four-track package contains three deep house jams plus a spacey remix of the track "Not Known" from the well-known Slovak gang Sensoreal. Title track Force' is nicely balanced by its thick and dry kick and bass-line groove with a melodic predominant synth. It's a powerful jolt that makes your body move.

Second track Paradox' has the Alias sound written all over it. The minimalistic but smart fusion of strong and dynamic sound elements create a vigorous blitz.

Label head Jay Lumen contributed with a smashing remix. It's a total recreation of Alias's Paradox' with Jay's sharp Acid Techno sound. With a magical old-school chord melody he build a bridge between future and past. Mainstage bombes all the way!!

Following noticeable releases on Tone Dropout, Art Of Dark, Overthink and Shadow Play, frenchman Daïf returns to his own imprint for LUMINAERE 002 Highways of Life. Distancing from the spacey atmosphere of the first one, this four tracker captures a personal side of Daïf’s musical identity, powerful and twisted.

On the A side, Downtown spiral sets the tone of the EP. Field with melodic pads and ear-piercing leads this 4/4 track bursts with energy. Then follows Burnout, perhaps the most complex of the four. UK garage like style, mesmerizing bass lines and pads, buckle up, you’re in for a 200 mph drive.

On the B side, Terrible Lie is a hot banger with a ravy old school flavor. Warehouse synths, cheesy vocal samples, stabby leads and melodic pads, this one is guaranteed to do some damage. Finally, closing off is Exhaust-ed, hauntingly beautiful track with powerful breaks interleaved with acid bass lines going back and forth with melodic chords.

hel.IV Came across our radar in early 2019 when a demo fell on our lap. It was the dark black honest sounds of Techno as we hadn’t heard it before.

It was hel.IV. After his debut digital EP ‘The Dagger & The Thought’, It took over the internet, It blew up. It had immediate respect and has been getting hammered all around the globe. We finally have him back to do some damage again. His new ‘The Palm On The Altar’ EP displays a more fine tuned hel.IV while still attacking the throats. It’s dark. It’s Imposing, and it is serious business. We also have the talented Dahlia on board to remix the title track. An almost 8 minute journey to tell his version. Ruff Stuff inaugurates his new Sculptures imprint this February with ‘The Faster Buster’ EP, comprising four originals from the Berlin-based artist.

Sculptures Records is the new label from Ruff Stuff, a new platform designed to showcase material from predominantly up and coming artists who use physical machines to craft and sculpt their music, using their hands and real tools to create unique pieces of art. This stands as the ethos for Sculptures and its output moving
forward, which will aesthetically lean towards house and deep house sounds with forays into electro.

The label-head Ruff Stuff steps up first to inaugurate things here and leads the release with ‘Give Me A Break’, employing organic drums and dubbed out stabs at its core before the latter half of the composition introduces a rave-tinged disorienting synth
hook. Title-cut ‘Faster Buster’ follows next, this time round employing swirling pads, bumpy drums and gritty stab sequences as it’s core alongside hypnotic vocal chants and squelching 303 bass notes.

‘Bunker Mood’ opens the flip side, fuelled by dusty drums and a snaking bass groove while an amalgamation of airy chords, tension building strings and vocal samples carry the groove. ‘Rules Breaker’ then closes the package with a contrasting feel, bringing a
choppy square wave bass line and resonant synth licks to the forefront alongside off-kilter, skippy drums and ethereal pads ebbing and flowing within.

Shekon is back on Skryptöm with a new INFINITE UNION EP is a short collection of evolutive futuristic techno, with powerfull ryhtms and modern skills.

Vivus Records returns with the third instalment of the vinyl-only series VRV. With the previous release being supported by the likes of Raresh or Vincentiulian, you can expect another top-notch musical journey from two promising young talents like Silat Beksi and Daniel Broesecke.

Having been around the music scene since 2003, it was in 2013 that things really started to pick up for Silat Beksi. The Ukranian has releases at labels such as moral Fiber, Sakadat, Body Parts or Mulen and his style of uncrompomising techno blended with some sweet textures has gained him many fans on dancefloors worldwide.

Daniel Broesecke comes from the deep south of Germany and is always in search of the sounds of the underground. His catalogue includes releases at Deep Tech, Baile Musik and Lowroon Recordings and you can expect some smooth and playful techno vibes from the German.

VRV03 gets us in an atmospheric groove right from the beginning. There is a particular sense of serenity as the first track, Shades, starts playing. Once the first two minutes are gone, though, things start to get serious and the smooth bassline blends with a lovely acid touch to give an overall dreamy vibe.

As far as Taboo is concerned, things couldn't be more different. An imposing bassline greets us from the start and you can feel that Silat and Daniel have dropped the more gentle approach from Shades and opted for a powerful techno track. An intriguing range of peculiar sounds go hand in hand with the driving bass to make your feet move instantly.

The debut album "Night Train EP" is a journey

The echoed synths bring a mistery touch oposed to the heavy drum kick that keeps on pumping into an funky loop.

"Entering in Station", B1 track, is based on a simple dub theme. The punchy drum kick and deep baseline meet the main chords theme, here and there a sudden, weird and transcending "intemezzo" pops up and sends us to the other side of the scene, like driving through a misty fog.

The beat comes back on and chords keep flowing into an endless loop.

The last track "Sinking Sun" brings in a playful mood, send the listener to a magical scenery,

The "dancehall" echo is omnipresent, brings colour to the scene, all is paired with the timeless feel of the groove.

The big man is back! Stefano Noferini, the man behind the Deeperfect brand. On this EP he is joined by the Florentine newcomer duo, Looad. Together the three collaborators deliver a four track EP of the finest quality club weapons. ‘Floating’ starts off in a manner that is instantly recognisable as a tough cut of Deeperfect’s signature stripped-back minimal. A solid beat is punctuated with sprinkles of tribal percussion and underpinned by a pulsing sub line. Four years after its foundation, the Berlin-based label Druzhba is celebrating its anniversary 10th release with four original tracks by the melody master Rinaldo Makaj (RORA, Elephant Moon).

As we celebrate Steyoyoke’s 8th Anniversary, we’re releasing an 8-track EP showcasing some legendary, original cuts by the label’s artists.

The first track on this EP is “For Good”, by Earthlife featuring Eleonora. It begins with a peaceful, melodic soundscape with angelic vocals adding the sense of enchantment throughout the track.

A module is a replaceable complex element in an overall system that forms a closed functional unit.

This complex element is his musical building block for his new release MODUL.

Several modules form a three track vinyl in best minimal techno manner.

The A side contains the track MODUL which is defined by a massive kick drum and a booming bass. Additional psycho elements turn the track into something freaky and kind of sick.

Na Zrak Records presents its second vinyl release called Oriental Karma by Amsterdam based Involuntary Movement.
The genre Involuntary Movement propose is a kind of minimal jazz house with influences even techno characterized by the important groove and a very new sound. Surely it is a very recognizable sound and different from what is mainstream but we also like to involve artists coming from other musical worlds in our project, however, to try to give a product as colorful as possible of all the nuances that music can have.
