Jonathan Kaspar is back on Objektivity for a worthy return to the New York based label. The producer, from Cologne, delivers his 'Toona' EP as the 52nd release on the imprint. Khaya on the b side is already one of the biggest tracks this year and definitely an Ibiza record to remember in 2017.

This is the first release ever for Matt Tanner, a great guy and upcoming dj/producer from London. Martin Eyerer & Rainer Weichhold immediately fell in love with his ideas and sound design and only had to asked former Bushwacka Just Be to submit a remix. Which he did with a fantastic groove driven counterweight interpretation.

Poppet is the bold alter-ego of California-raised musician Molly Raney. Before Poppet's genesis in 2008, Raney spent many years training in a wide variety of musical fields from western classical to jazz to choral to Hindustani (Northern Indian classical tradition) to Gamelan (Indonesian classical ensemble music). She also has an extensive background in music theory, music history, and ethnomusicology, from both her childhood lessons and her education at the University of California in Davis. Through high school and her time at UC Davis, she studied with vocal coach Dr. Rebecca Plack of the San Francisco Conservatory-a major influence on her vocal style and elasticity. This broad musical background, plus her involvement with community freeform radio station KDVS, accounts for Poppet's own sonic diversity.

The boys of Mappey again achieved to compose a very picturesque sound telling the story of Mr. Miyagi's wisdoms.
A technical and yet precise fighting scenario between Miyagi and a Muk Yan Jong (wooden dummy) opens up this track using a warm wooden percussions and a solid human kick. The depth of this intense karate training sessions is perfectly reflected with a well handled reverb.

I totally love how the fighting scenes building up in their intensity, created through the musical instruments, reassembling Miyagi and his enemies.
In which the old master is resembled as the melodic and soft flying sounds with instruments such as a Sitar. Where as his enemies audibly appear as huge and forceful giants using bone breaking synths with heavy drives.

Possibly this is just my very own interpretation, so let yourself being carried away by this very cinematic tune.

For their next EP, Moon Harbour welcome back Daniel Stefanik - an artist who has been a core part of the family since 2005.

Stefanik is known as a master of intricate grooves, subtle sound design and compelling cuts that really get under your skin. He has put out four albums and countless EPs on labels such as Cocoon and Raum, and also co-runs the Dambala Experience label.

As well as serving up one vinyl exclusive, this EP features a fully licensed cover-version of Hardrive's classic 'Deep Inside,' which originally started as an edit Daniel made last year, but has since found its way into some key DJ sets and become quite in demand.

That track, still called 'Deep Inside', is a fantastically writhing monster with kicking drums, bounce in its bones and anthemic appeal in the classic cut-up vocal cries. Driving but party-starting, it is a surefire way to ignite any dance floor and it only grows more unhinged as it unfolds.

The excellent and vinyl only exclusive 'Another Year' is more stripped back but just as loose and fluid. Constructed from layers of vocal yelps, tumbling percussion and loopy sub bass, it all adds up to a supple yet wild jam that makes you want to cut some fancy shapes.

This is an easy to love EP that features two essential dance floor bombs.

Since Maxime Dangles' contribution to our head honcho Gregor Tresher's 'Breaking New Soil Vol. 7' early 2015 we received several fantastic new oevres from the frenchman. It wasn't easy to decide which ones to release but Sian (Octopus Records) gave us a hand and focussed on 'Fokal' for his remix! Anyway we are proud to release Maxime's debut EP for Break New Soil and are curious how you share our taste.

Raw District is Massimo DaCosta and Vernon Bara, a Belgian duo now making their debut on Moon Harbour with two fine original tracks and a remix by Italian Davide Squillace, who has a long and storied history of DJing and producing with label boss Matthias Tanzmann.

Raw District have been building momentum for the last couple of years with releases on Crosstown Rebels and Defected, and now come into their own on Moon Harbour. The pair who also run Homecoming Music previously released under a different name, but this new project focuses on darker club sounds that are truly compelling.

'Underrated' features disco soul vocalist Forrest, who delivers some attitude riddled rhymes in libidinous fashion as hypnotic synth stabs and rolling rubber drums drive on below. It is the sort of essential groove that will make whole 'floors march as one and is perfectly steamy and emotive.

David Squillace is known for his essential extended DJ sets at Circo Loco as well as current AV project Blender, plus his collaborative project Better Lost Than Stupid with Martin Buttrich and Matthias Tanzmann. His remix breaks up the beats into a more tumultuous and shadowy groove that is weird and freaky, with whispered vocals sounding all paranoid. Prying bass sucks you in and clever filters make it a dynamic and ever evolving affair that never lets up.

Raw District then come correct with the invitingly jittery 'Their Eyes', a smooth, deep rolling groove that evolves through a number of subtle peaks and troughs. Tumbling toms and sweeping filters bring the sort of drama that dancers love, and when it kicks again you can almost hear their whoops of joy.

This is a fresh sound from Moon Harbour and a fine debut on the label from Raw District.

His pioneering vision across more than two decades of music genres now ranks him as one of the most versatile, in-demand international artists, commanding weekly performances on the house, techno and tech-house global club and festival circuits.

Gabriele Mancino joins the Berlin based label for the first time delivering a fine minimal pack with two bouncy original plus a mental trippin remix made up by Andrea Ferlin week known for his appearances on such label as Sleep is Commercial, AMAM and Vinyl Club.

MZR is the new project by Tobias Szturmann started in 2015, his sound is described as a deep monotone and dubby techno sound with industrial elements. After several years as Minuszwei and other Names he dares to reboot with the already collected experience. His newest Ep comes out with two massive remixes from Samuel L Session & Andre Kronert.

Pavel Iudin or Paul Yudin, as he's occasionally known in anglophone circles, is the new artist onboard.

Herbert: Monaberry's totem old timer, Super Flu's dear old Opa, house music's favourite septuagenarian and all round legend returns...

It's been a while since he last curated a Monaberry collection (his hearing aid kaput throughout 2015)The last time being summer 2014 with Monaberry's now-vintage '25 Years Monaberry' collection. But now he's dusted off his curating cap, gently leant his walking stick against the wall, shouted what' a lot of times, moaned about his clicky knees, yearned for the good old days and, finally, put together one of the Halle-based label's most beautiful collections to date.

Fresh out of the care home, Herb's first pick - Super Flu & Viktor Talking Machine's 'Plastik' - leads with the gusto of a man a third of his age: a twinkling arpeggio gazes up to clear night skies building in momentum with the beats and a pulsating bassline. Laced with a dramatic breakdown, you'd be advised to stash this one for the next festival marathon.

The melodic tech textures continue as Herb welcomes Boston's Robot Love to the Monaberry fold with the touching slice of anthemia that is 'Numbers Station'. A clipped hook gently persists with chiselled insistency. Timeless and driving, Herb tells us he picked it because it's great to walk around the supermarket really really slowly to. We love it because it will take your dancefloor to a whole new level.

Last spotted on '25 Years Monaberry', fellow Halle hero Martin Waslewski returns with a wistful piano-primed stroller that sees Herb striding gently but confidently towards a destination unknown (probably the chemist to get his meds). No walking stick required.

Monaberry mainstays Hanne & Lore take old Herb (or Herbie to those in the know) out to the choppy tech seas late at night, sharpen up their finest synth hook and reel in a big one. Like all fresh produce, 'Tuna In' is crisp to the taste and will satiate the hungriest of dancefloors.

Having previously remixed Super Flu, Dortmunder Philhamoniker and Philipp Armbruster's 'Volkwein', Bebetta returns to Monaberry with her label debut, an ageless groove powered by soft chord changes, mild jazz textures and faraway crackles, it's Herbert's favourite for fireside chats.

Finally, Parra For Cuva brings us to a touching finale. Just in time for Herb's afternoon nap, 'Borneo' is awash with dreamy lilts, lingering instrumentation and positive chords. Presenting the latest release from Inmotion Music as the NYC based imprint welcomes fellow city dwelling deviant ELON to the helm. Representing the long lineage of quality underground artists to come out of the city, ELON offers some deep and straight up techno that comes straight from the heart and aims solely for the feet...

ELON is certainly no stranger to the dance-floor, as his previous releases on Metroline, Made to Play and his own ReSolute label whole heartedly prove. Thick sonic attributes, mining basslines and hypnotic drums characterise the essence of this industrial leaning EP - a perfect fit, then, for this fresh label.

The EP kicks off with the almighty thud of Azone, which comes equipped with two strong remixes from already anointed label affiliate Marco Faraone and the much saught after skills of Marco Zenker. The original version's mix of heavy instruments and deep aesthetics makes it a stand out track of the moment, evoking memories of Octave One's groove and rhythm, not to mention it's raw, untreated analogue feel. Lots of oscillating basslines and perky percussive elements, all of which are stripped back on Faraone's interpretation, stripping apart the major chord buzz into a hollow, lurking track that builds at a menacing pace before unleashing full acid stabs and blasts.

Munich's Marco Zenker brings a bleaker tapestry, with the first minute of the track building in atmosphere and melody.., before bringing the beats through a hazy veil of shrouded mystery and muted mastering.

The EP is then bolstered by two more original ELON productions, both showing the Brooklyn based DJ's production prowess in abundance, Ten - with it's jittery rhythm, electro boogie overtones and acidic hypnotic rhythm - stands as warehouse techno at it's finest, most futuristic style.

Moony Me is a German-Venezuelan producer and DJ, based in Munich/Vienna, signed to Uncanny Valley, Apparel Music, Toy Tonics. He takes the next step on the release with 'State Of Bliss' played around the melodic arpeggios, screaming vocals and authentic house energy.
Anonymous guy Mystep is a sound producer and singer with releases on Large Music, Apparel Music, Lapsus Music working with major singers in electronic world like Cari Golden, Burnski's voice Beckford and Rahjwanti, is putting his hand to the smooth and laidback deep & funky 'Think' track featuring the vocals by Parisian LaVoyce.
The track elegantly performed by Mystep & LaVoyce is somewhere between deep house and funk, rich with guitars, hammond organs is the good story in the end.
We are very happy to have Americans Pools who after producing the album from our friends from Razor-N-Tape found time to contribute for full length release on Sex Panda White (oops, soon to follow) and 'Etobicoke' - the chill edit which is the logical ending of the whole 'Colors' release.

Baile Musik proudly presents 5th edition of it´s vinyl series that will be in stores in summer 2015. For 5th edition we have chosen Various Artists line up formation to show all the potential and musical width of our artists.

Lunar Station is nothing but simple thematic and the name of this edition. The journey begins with Marko Nastic, globally recognised by many as one of the top South Eastern Europe artists and performers. In his more than 20 years long career, Marko has done more than 200 releases including remixes and co-productions. He is most famous for his high end 3 decks sets which gave him opportunity to tour globe many times and to be resident of Exit festival. His opening track is called Mechanism Delight and presents typical analogue mechanical and dirty minimal techno sound.

A2 place is fitted by Luca Doobie, one of the most prominent names of Italian tech house scene. Musician since the age of 10, he's now one of the most important artists in Milan's underground dance scene. His track Cold Shade expands this release from analogue minimal techno sound to solid and groovy tech house sound.

B side brings our everlasting label member Glico and Adrianho. Both of the artists are presenting kind of a minimal techno sound but on two totally different levels. While Glico is focused on a wet minimal sound combined with house elements and strong percussions. KEEP IT MOVIN is up first and is six minutes of floor rocking, booty shaking House with rapped and clipped vocals cutting up the percussion lead groove. It is tense and builds to a big peak, with a fantastic bassline carrying the whole thing along.

JACK IS BACK then pairs things back to a more subdued house beat with writhing synths bringing the energy. It is heavy, groovy and deep but also has a big physical impact.

DAVID KENO is back with another fine new EP on MOTHER RECORDINGS following on from the number 1 success of his - Moonshine' tune here back in 2016. This label is one of his regular homes alongside the likes of Snatch! and Dirtybird and again finds him serving up real heat across both cuts.

Up first is MOJO, nearly six minutes of fresh and modern sounding house music with slick drums driving along down low. Vocal snippets add real fire up top and some lively chord stabs bring an essential element of colour to proceedings.

ANANAS is less direct and physical and is instead more playful and heart warming. It has catch and emotional vocal yelps, colourful aural fireworks and hip swinging clasp that really make you move, all underpinned with some great drums. These are two more dance floor bombs sure to detonate any party.

Moon Harbour always looks forward and to that end, they waste no time in pushing on past the landmark 100th release with a new offering from contemporary champion Sidney Charles.

Hamburg's Charles has become known for a rock-solid, no-frills style of chunky house and tech that has seen him become a firm favorite with both DJs and dancers. He is one of the most charted artists on RA thanks to his always essential EPs on labels like Truesoul, Hot Creations, and Avotre, the latter of whom he A&Rs for. Of course, he also appeared on this label last year on the Inhouse compilation, and now gets a full EP to really show off his skills.

First up, the tender 'Make Me Moove' features Lady Vale. It's an exquisite eight-minute bubbler with elastic drums and wonky synths down low in the mix. The steamy vocals from Vale then kick start percolating baselines and the whole thing really pulls you in.

'Soultrade' is a bigger track, with spangled bass and big diva wails all getting you up on your toes as sweeping filters do to the drama. It's one to get the crowd amped up and ready for more and is hugely effective.

Last of all, 'Der Haus' shows another side to Charles and takes inspiration from classic new York house, It has bulky drums, icy hi-hats and woozy neon chords bringing some late night vibes to the floor. It's playful, fun and perfectly functional, and rounds out another fresh EP.

'The Continuum Hypothesis' by Cleymoore and Andrea Cichecki stood proud as Rotate's first collaborational EP, and despite being the imprint's first attempt on showcasing its roster
through talent fusion, it served perfectly as a refined and spontaneous creation where both artists could easily be heard and identified.

Rotate's curatorial decisions seem to consistently circle around a small but extremely talent-ed group of young artists who aren't afraid of musical experimentation, with command of
very personal visions of futuristic dance music, no matter the style. For the second collabora-tional EP, Rotate hand-picked two young artists that share a strong vision about music, how
it should be created and ultimately, experienced: Greece's Anestie Gomez, and Russia's Denis Kaznacheev.

Denis has succeeded in keeping us engaged with his imprint Nervmusic since 2009, showing us a steady catalog of releases that share a refined and minimalistic approach to dance
music, while Anestie is slowly but fiercely leaving his mark in the music world with a handful of releases and a quiet yet exquisite A&R work for several successful imprints.

Using each other's sounds to create new compositions, 'The Wieferich Pair' is about them both, and speaks for them both. 'Early Finish' is an addictive piece that utterly succeeds in
sucking you right in like a vortex. The marching bassline serves it's purpose of movement in a strong loopy groove intertwined by tight snares, while the pads and poltergeist'y sounds
reformat our heads with an inability for space-time tracking. The other side of this affair, 'Late Start', is all about the sleazy jazz dance moves. It's a microcosm of sparkling glitches
and vocal snippets, locked in a simple yet flowing bassline and a sea of shuffled hi-hats. A piano kicks in at key points, alongside percussive elements, adding some deepness to the a

Guillermo de Caminos is the owner of the also famous record store and studio called "La Montaña Dj" located in the city of Rosario where a lot of good artists are born. Finally we experience the biggest trip of the adventure... Taking the 1998 cult German hip-hop
classic by 5 Sterne Deluxe 'Schund' and completely rebuilding it into an absolute emotional
whirlwind, it's a breath-taking composition that will truly elevate and soften the toughest of crowds.
With chem-trails of the vocal permeating through the gaps, this is beyond any standard
understanding of remix conventions.

The same can be said for each of these re-constructions: Three clear cases where the remix has
been chosen simply because the artists love the music, know how to harness its strengths and

Making music literally since he can think and being able to read notes before he was actually able to read, Robin grew up
with classical piano, drums and percussion, spending days in front of the radio, waiting for his favorite songs to be played
so he'd be able to record them, trying to put together special selections of songs, collections of different moods, which he
would listen to when driving in the car with his father. All this, and of course playing in bands from Metal to Hip Hop and
from Punkrock to Funk, have helped Robin develop an extraordinary wide musical horizon and a very special intuition
and understanding of music that keeps spilling out of him like a source that never dries out as soon as he lays his hands
on any DJ-gear.
But not only as a DJ with residencies at the legendary Bar 25, Kater Holzig (now Kater Blau) and Watergate in Berlin or
Villa Nova in Hamburg Robin has earned his good reputation. Releases on labels such as Platzhirsch, Trapez ltd or
Kater Mukke (just to name a few) have underscored his standing in the world of electronic music and made the name
Red Robin stand for quality music & quality time.

Defcon / Plankton Jens Strüver since the eighties, working as a DJ and is co-founder of the label m = minimal. He curated the edition "ConStruct" with Conrad Schnitzler and obtained under the project name J.R. Plankton, Borngräber & Strüver and Kreuzberg with its own creations and collaborations international attention. He also works with Dirk Schlömer as "circuit" and
produced albums with Ernstalbrecht Stiebler.
Robert Defcon works as a journalist, artist and gallery in Berlin. He has published "3000 Bold" several books, including
the biography Interview with Einstürzende Neubauten, electronic and hiphop albums, including comprador ions with
Chilly Gonzales, and the two radio hits "City Boy" and.
Defcon and Strüver a longstanding friendship and love for unlimited music. As "Plankton vs Defcon" publish in 2016 their
first joint plate.

Zuckermann
Zuckermann's work is about developing electronic (dance) music further, so it stays on top of a contemporary lifestyle with its corresponding party and listening experiences.
In order to do this he uses unlikely but fitting references to other genres (classical, experimental 20th century music, jazz, children's songs...), non-musical ideas and sounds, as well as contemporary conceptual thinking to craft his tracks. His
approach aims partly at avoiding lazy cliches and partly at the fun of deconstructing the usual retro formulas we all know
too well. In the end, it is about creating a truly post-techno(logical) Techno. This Post-Techno is deepened electronic music with an experimental, multi-perspective approach and a serious attitude that will nevertheless rock dancefloors. Zuckermann has released on a number of up-and-coming German labels (among them - FormResonance run by Wareika's singer Florian Schirmacher), but has now turned his focus to Lebensfreude Records where he released his rather interesting solo album Serendipity in March 2014.

Back in June 2016, Riva Starr first appeared on Moon Harbour with a raw remix of Paul C & Paolo Martini's 'Rotation', which turned out to be a track that quickly found its way into some key DJ bags and stood out in myriad sets this summer. Now the Italian house talent is back to make his full debut with a solo EP entitled It Is True that is packed with real dance floor heat.Riva Starr burst onto the scene in 2010 with a playful and off-kilter house sound full of curious samples and kinked grooves. Since then he has solidified his singular style with three studio albums and 30 odd EPs on labels like Defected, Dirtybird and Casual. Of course, he also heads up his own Snatch! Records, which has become a bastion of big tunes thanks to his expert A&R. Up first here, the title track features acclaimed Manchester vocalist and producer DNCN, and is the sort of full fat and bouncy tech cut that keeps clubs locked to the dance floor. Cavernous bass loops and upright drums are joined by his tender male vocals and they add some truly heartfelt emotion to Starr's irresistible groove.The excellent 'Akitune' is more direct, with a punchy drum line keeping you on your toes as synths ride up the scale in playful fashion. Always taking you higher, there is an inherent sense of tension that builds and builds without ever releasing, and for that reason this one is sure to prove irresistible to dancers and DJs alike. A shorter DJ Tool edit is also included and features some percolating synths, woozy chords and reversed vocal sounds that will bring a real sense of craziness to any set.This EP manages to be to the point and effective without sacrificing any of Riva Starr's textbook production charm.

Following on from previous standout Inhouse compilations on Moon Harbour comes the latest instalment,
Volume 6. This time with 12 exclusive tracks presented digitally and on a 2 x 12' vinyl pack, young label
associate Marco Faraone has also gone to work on fusing them all together into one magical set that will
be available upon release. The compilation features music from a range of producers - some have been
with the label a while, some are newer recruits, but all of them fit in with the internationally acclaimed and
renowned Moon Harbour aesthetic.

London based East End Dubs is first up with the suitably dubby 'Maze,' a slightly creepy track that bumps
and grinds with lots of moody atmosphere. Stepping up through the gears with his bulky, bass driven loops
is then Andrea Oliva who first appeared on the label back in 2013, whilst Dan Drastic and label boss
Matthias Tanzmann team up again for their 'Arcade'. It's a spooky, stripped back house roller with a breezy
groove at its heart.

New recruits Chris Wood & Meat, frequent collaborators from Frankfurt, then turbo charge the compilation
with their excellently urgent and energetic track 'So Far Away', then former Minus staple Barem serves up
a rattling, kinetic track full of percussive energy that will get arms flailing on the dancefloor. Next up, Marco
Faraone goes deep with his deliciously driven 'Mirror Coat', featuring muttered vocals, spooky
instrumentals and humid ambiance that really seeps its way into your soul.

Label regulars Luna City Express score a hit once more with the widescreen tech and spoken word
consciousness of 'Get High', and fellow Moon Harbour staple Sven Tasnadi contributes the haunted late
night house charms of 'Special Places'. Sable Sheep is one of the label's new generation of talents and
gets all booty focussed and bouncy with his hard hitting jam 'Pilgrim', before the always on point Detlef
then conjures up an intoxicating vibe with his feathery light, minimal house jam 'Forenote'. Then come Paul
C & Paolo Martini, who get all slinky, silky and seductive with their metallic, loopy 'Speed Machine' track
and newest label member Cera Alba from the UK closes things down with his raw, hardcore deep house
hitter 'Voltage.'

This compilation once again proves that Moon Harbour evolves and experiments with subtle new sounds
each year. What's more, the label always stays true to their groove focussed, dancefloor aligned house
sound whether they call upon experienced old stars or hot new protégés alike.

Ben Buitendijk has made himslef a name since he received great support from UK live performer Steve O'Sullivan. At the end of
2013, Ben released Promised Land on Steve's' Mosaic Split Series (Part One). One year later, Ben was in charge of the first release of Roger Gerressen's new imprint OGUN Records on which he presented his very first solo EP Magnitude (OGUN001). Finally, it's in March 2015 that Ben took the plunge when he launched his owm imprint Oblique Music and released his second solo EP, but first release of the label, Venomous (OBQ001), followed early June by his Past and Present EP (OBQ002). Ben is blossoming. We're therefore glad to welcome him and his mate Koen Hoets (release debut) on An der Grenze.
On the occasion of its second release, LumièresLaNuit and TONESERIES co-founder, Edouard, is glad to welcome Rotterdam-based duo Ben Buitendijk & Koen Hoets's Coordinated EP (ADG002) on An Der Grenze.
Coordinated EP presents two tracks relating to two different spots, so two different atmospheres. Whereas 51°54'01.6"N
4°28"05.0"E corresponds with the Maastunel in Rotterdam that connects the banks of the Nieuwe Maas, 51°54'33.0"N
4°29"13.7"E matches the Erasmusbrug (Erasmus Bridge), a combinedcable-stayed and bascule bridge in the center of Rotterdam connecting the north and the south parts of the city. Whereas the A-side presents a techno and trippy side, the B-side reveals a more atmospheric and percussive one.
In summary, both tracks are quite linear, a linearity that hypnotises and sucks the listener up till bringing him in a trance that
makes him feeling in another dimension.

Holnap by Ztrl perfectly sits beside our opening track. Minimalistic beats and nice, smooth atmospheres really nicely round up the first side of this release.

Here we are with the first Release on Adroit Recordings.  Zurich based Label, founded by different guys, born to give space to the underground Music. Herewith we present our first Ep produced from one of the Label Owners Sam Angelo aka Saime. First we start with The Flip a proven mystical track for heated dancefloors, pulsating beatz and ephimeral vocals travel through fine pads and chords. As predicted comes the next VA-Vinyl by Teja. Gloomy and progressively, start this November with productions by Patrick Arbez, Technofarben, Frederic Stunkel and Twist3d.

Tamango Records is the fresh newborn imprint from Berlin founded by Yaya. The name is inspired on the story of Tamango, the first African slave who fought for his freedom, which perfectly represents the no-boundaries style of the label.

'13k' EP is the debut release by the boss himself with a three-tracker banging release. He inaugurates the label with entitled '13k' which sees Yaya delivering a deep, tech and raw jam with a full-bodied kick mixed together with dry snares, thiny hi-hats, rattling percussions and some anxious vocal chops. The whole retro-sounding dimension is yield by rumbling brass shots, sensual synths and mysterious textures.

On the flipside, 'Delirio Habanero' is more about frenzy things. It's a direct and robust stripped back techno tool with an essential groove, SCI-FI atmospheres and an obsessive-delayed female vocal sample.

Last of all, 'Gente De La Calle' is another 909 rough techno tune. Starting with a standard 4/4 structure, the analogic and dusty bassline is joined by 90's housy synths and rhythmic shakers, creating the perfect crossover element.

It's time to celebrate the return of Tom Lunn and Finnian Casey to Sneaky Music. Together known as Silk 86, these English gentlemen were in charge of our first ever release back in 2013 with an outstanding EP that sold out in only two weeks, climbing rapidly to Juno's Deep House top ten.

Straight Prime Time Techno!
Industrial sounds with explosive percussions form the basis for the next teja ep called Napalm. Including 2 different interpreted and wicked remixes from Diarmaid O Meara & Blaues Licht.

Nach sieben Jahren har(d)ter erscheint nun sein langerwartetes Debütalbum. Der Name 'Black Knight Satellite' wurde gewählt, weil es sich durch seinen universellen, fast extraterrestrisch anmutenden Sound auszeichnet. Das Album nimmt den Hörer mit auf eine acht Tracks (Vinyl) bzw. elf Tracks (CD) dauernde Reise durch den Kosmos der Technomusik, von kompromisslosen Baselines, über abwechlungsreiche Synthesizer bis hin zu treibenden Percussions. Auf Features wurde dabei weitestgehend verzichtet. Beim Track ' T 26' hat Chris Hardt, sich mit dem Berliner DJ T.A.G., der seit 2007 Resident im legendären Tresor ist, jedoch einen echten Meister ins Boot geholt. Das sehr gelungene Cover wurde vom Mexikaner Erick Martinez gestaltet. 'Black Knight Satellite' ist ein absolut zeitloses, straightes Technoalbum, bei dem auch nach wiederholtem Anhören keine Langeweile aufkommt. Man kann hören, spüren und fühlen wie viel Zeit und Liebe zum Detail darin steckt

For the second Bad Barbie Records vinyl release of 2016 we are more than exited to bring you the magnificent work from the Bla Bla Music owner Daniel Sanchez with his Impromptu EP. Here we have four amazing pieces where each one tells a different history. The first one Pearled Into Droplets saw the light after a great Live Jam and the result is combination of several layers of base elements with subtle minimalistic articulations. These, in combination of the bass and synths lines do create a truly amazing micro house piece. The second one Vague, is an atmospheric dub were a single synth chord raises in slowly, followed by a very subtle kick and bass line to set a bit of rhythm to the whole thing, creating a superb dreamy vibe while the chords do their thing with delicate reverbs and delays in the backend. A great musical piece indeed. For the third track we have Yi, again another amazing micro house jewel born from a Live Jam, but this one is even more energetic than the first one and it also includes, besides a rocking bass line, analog synth chords that lifts up the mood during specific moments, which also do their part articulating themselves perfectly with some occasional twisted vocals that helps create an amazing party vibe from beginning to end. And if this wasn't enough we also have Bedroom Stories vocal tool that Daniel included with his delivery, which can help spice up a DJ set with ease.

Late April will see Decay Records return with a new release from Hector, entitled the
'Womb' EP and accompanied by remixes from The Mole and Dan Farserelli.

Mexican producer and DJ Hector's career has been on a meteoric rise for some time now with his material being snapped up for many leading imprints in the industry such as Leftroom, Tsuba, Desolat and Mobilee. The Barcelona based artist also maintains a heavy touring schedule taking him across the globe to hot spots across Europe and the United States and recently launched his own VL Recordings imprint to critical acclaim, here though we see him back on the rising Decay Records imprint out of the UK with some fresh new material.

Up first is the original mix of 'Womb' which takes on a slowly brooding percussive feel via murky drum hits, thundering sub bass tones, swirling vocal murmurs and bubbling dub echoes. The Mole steps up to rework 'Womb' next and typical fashion the Canadian artist delivers an entirely unique take on things with atmospheric field recordings, intricately evolving synth layers, crunchy percussion and the originals infectious sub bass hook making for a refreshing listen.

Londoner Dan Farserelli reshapes 'Womb' next, taking things in a slightly different direction with swinging low-slung drums, snaking sub bass grooves and hypnotic chords fluttering away in the
depths of the record. Lastly to round off the package is Hector's second original 'Da Morning After', which as the name would suggest takes on a hypnotic after hours feels with ethereal pad swells and a raw rhythmic drive.

The idea behind Decision Making Theory is to propose some stripped down no-nonsense techno, aimed directly at the dancefloor. DMT's first one-sided 33 rpm coloured vinyl release consists of two tracks by Knotweed Records owner Philippe Petit. 'Give' starts with some spaced-out chords and then shifts into a dubby Detroit inspired floor filler. The second track, 'Take', is a much darker heavy peak-time affair aimed at blowing the roof off!

NOON means midday, the time when the sun is at its highest each day, even if we cannot see it. It is the moment of greatest light, where one cycle ends and another begins. It is the end of the day and the beginning of the night. It is that brightest moment that always leads us to the darkest one, and vice versa.

THE EP
Don`t you get fooled by the name of our 8th release! NO UP NO DOWN is the main title and the song itself is everything but linear. The organic percussion rhythms in combination with the warbling subbassline gets you into the groove from the first moment. The booming kicks and rough-hewn hats is lending a vibrant edge to the mix. A morphing ethereal guitar riff, filtered to the edge and the slightly insane giggeling vocal effects, carry you away in a chant-like hypnosis. Nothing here feels like a static loop. It's a masterclass in restraint, tension built to breaking and then get resolved.

MOLIENDO comes with a more fragile and porous drum programming, held together by the slapping hi-hat. When the choral vocals sneak into the arrangement, this fragility transforms into something beautiful and timeless. Exactly the way we like it.

Listening to AYPURA, you can literally see the sun rising. A driving bass fundament combined with serpentine conga grooves and this wonderful piano hook. One for the early club mornings.


THE ARTIST
Manuel Vobis aka SITHÓU is maybe better know as part of his other Project BUNTE BUMMLER. With releases on Labels such as JAMIE JONES`s imprint HOT CREATIONS, 8BIT, LITTLE HELPERS and many others. The Mannheim based youngster is kicking off with his solo project and delivering finest dancefloor material from the first release on.
