Gunnar & Bram met each other, during a disco night around 2010 in Berlin where they both played. They felt a natural harmony right away and stood at each other's Dj booth during the whole duration of the other's sets, thrilled about the music selection. A legendary night followed. It was clear they had found their
Musical Soulmate.
Over time their connection became stronger and stronger, although they had decided to continue producing and performing separately at first.
Dutch born, African raised, keyboard player, Bram producing French house under the name - BRM and Gunnar making both live performances and Dj Sets with the Berlin based DJ Duo - Schwipp Schwapp . In 2015, they finally joined forces, build their - Flamingo Studio in Berlin Kreuzberg and started producing
and performing under the name Rimini Sunset . Rimini Sunset occupies a rare space in dance music. Italo and Disco influenced, Rimini Sunset are wanderers between worlds, from the beginning of electronic Dance Music to Analog Synth driven Tech House. Their powerful productions are hypnotic with a vivid sense of melody that sticks long in mind. It's been a busy 2014 so far for label head Dubfire. Whilst nothing unusual for the Persian-born producer, with the revival of Deep Dish (alongside Sharam), the release of their new single 'Quincy', the continuation of the SCI+TEC radio show, the release of his much vaunted remix of 'Come' featuring Asia Argento and his relentless global touring schedule, it would be a surprise to find even a slither of studio time for original Dubfire productions...

But find he did and today he unveils EXIT, his new single and collaboration with the first lady of techno, Miss Kittin. The pair have wanted to work together for years now and after a few idea exchanges they managed to sink their teeth into something magical. The strong low-end Dubfire groove is evident once again on EXIT as the pair playfully chop and reverse Kittin's vocals, pushing and withdrawing the bass to allow her sultry vocals to shine. On the flip we're treated to the electrifying wall of sound that is MIDIAN with its all-enveloping bass, pierced by energizing and synapse-searing shocks.

After the success of the first release, Hund Records is coming back with a huge Ep from a new young rising star of electronic music: Jerome.c. Already supported by tINI, Robert Dietz, Enzo Siragusa, Loquace, Seb Zito and more all around the world. We celebrate Intacto's 10-year anniversary and welcome back co-owner Shinedoe with our 53rd release on wax.

SHINEDOE's unique vision of electronic dance music, combined with her talent, dynamism and pioneering spirit have acted as a springboard, propelling her to the forefront of house and techno global club scenes. Internationally recognised for her personal fusion of sounds and genres to create warm funky grooves.

Last May saw the release of Illogical Directions, the third album by Shinedoe, to be released with critical acclaim. Surely a mesmerizing highlight in the artist's career, the album represents several deep and melodic excursions in nowadays deep and tech house, while her own imprint Intacto Records also added a beautiful gem in its discography.

Now Shinedoe delivers some new intense colored and uplifting dance floor grooves to flourish around the globe. 'Pom Pom' is a solid jacking track while 'Up Groove' subtly builds up tension. 'An Code Reque' was inspired by a DJ set in Berghain of... Guess who!

Westbalkonia's neue gleichnamige EP besteht aus vier deepen House-Tracks, die durch die schöne Stimme von Bandmitglied Alex, Flächen und Beats von Marc und handeingespielter Gitarre von Adrian für ein frisches Hörerlebnis sorgen. Kein Eigentlich, sondern ein Unbedingt, wenn ihr auf sommerfrischen House für die Stunden nach und vor der Peaktime steht.

Polish label Exotic Refreshment has been doing its independent thing since 2007, releasing high quality house and techno music that gets spun by the likes of Sasha and Tensnake. Now they look to young Italian-Venezuelan talent Ricardo Baez for two new tracks that come with expert remixes by Edgar Peng and David Jach.

Inspired by Chicago house and Detroit techno, Baez debuted in 2012 and has gone on to impress with releases on Toy Tonics, as well as holding down his high profile residency at Tropical Animals.

Butoh opens the EP in steely, nervy fashion with skittish synths scurrying over rooted house drums. Theres a shiny progressive like vibe to the synths that really suck you in and give off the air of flying through the cosmos whilst a heavenly vocal cry only adds fuel to the fire. Remixer David Jach is a someone who often has tracks in the Beatport Top 20, as well as having done an electronic concert with members of a philharmonic orchestra. His version of Butoh is a stripped back and bumpy deep house cut with subtle vocals used as a repetitive hook. Chord stabs add warmth but this one is all about lo-key, high impact grooviness.

The other original is I Need You, a soft edged and supple roller with rubbery synths and rounded drums. The sound of footsteps adds intrigue to the groove and when the bassline drops again amongst the sound of rainy melodies, you really get swept up.

Berlin based Edgar Peng then turns out a deep and atmospheric remix that has whispered vocals, smeared, soulful chords and oodles of late night charm.

Every mood and dance floor is catered for with this excellent new EP from one of Polands best labels.

Ever since 2008, Astronaut Music has been showcasing a wide spectrum of essential dance sounds and nowthey offer up another essential EP.

This time it features an original by the Hungarian label boss himself, aka Norbert Obrotka, who has been DJing since the 90s and has had many club hits since, but the track is remixed by Chris Ronson and Petar Dundov.

Petar Dundov goes first, he has been turning out killer techno for 15 years now, and does so on Music Man Records most often. His take on 'Stage Whisper' is full of fat, rasping bass and moody atmospheres. His well crafted melodies dangle in midway and add a real air of suspense and mystery to the groove.

The second version is from a fellow Hungarian, Ronson who quickly shot up through the ranks. He has worked under different names before now but releases on labels like Creation Records, Fever Sound, Renaissance and more. His remix is a perfectly deep, seductive and supple one that is full of late night intrigue. His percussion is loose yet sharp, his drums fluid yet engaging, and overall the track is perfectly emotional and expertly serene.

This is a brilliant and timeless release from an always on point label.

London based DJ/Producer PAWSA is an artist on the rise who has already impressed with releases for Lost Records and Green Velvet's legendary Cajual imprint. Today he makes his MOOD debut with the 'FLUX' Ep, a trio of tracks, each underpinned by strong throbbing beats and mysterious basslines.

Opener '168' takes a spooky, brooding path with its spoken vocal and bobbing riff, before we're treated to a modern, techy tribal number in the form of the thumping 'Orion's Eyes'. Having slapped us with  the opening brace PAWSA drops us down on the final, deep and aptly titled 'Reflections', showing that the talented producer is more than able to turn his hand to a number of sound and styles. 

Uno_label showcases the talent of Stefano Kosa , a young and bright producer with a promising career ahead of him. Stefano lands on UNO. with this tight and strong original track: "Siren". The title, immediately suggests the incredible power of this techno track.
While Alex Costa takes on the remix challenge, tightening the track with his thumping Kick Drum, he created a ripping groove that perfectly complements Stefano's original.

The story began, when Kerem bought his first drumsticks and started to play drums. At the beginning, he generally listened and played funk, blues tracks.Also, he performed with several local bands on festival stages in Istanbul. When his high school period, Kerem started to produce his own tracks and generally, his influences were soulful and hiphop music. After that period, he applied to Miller Music Factory Contest' which was one of the biggest electronic music contest in Turkey, when he was 18 and his production won Electronic Music Production' title. His music carreer changed quiet attractively after this success and he started to work and cooperate with Kaan Duzarat who is one of the strongest producer and live performer in Istanbul's local area and be a part of Vesvese crew which has been operated by Kaan Duzarat. Kerem's influences a bit changed on that period and he started to listen and produce house music. His first EP called A Good Play' has been released by London based house imprint Apparel music on 2013 with a stong supports like Shur-i-Kan, Osunlade, Dubfire and many more...After his first precious release, live performances started to increase local club's crowd and Kerem's name known by many club addicts. Now, he's a part of Petra Digital crew and his second EP will release from our imprint as a vinyl called Life of a Party' We wait passionately to see what the future holds for this talented young man.

Andre Crom & Chi Thanh got more than excited when they got the opportunity to remix Lana Del Rey - the same goes for OFF Recordings when we got the permission to release this official remix.Crom & Thanh transformed the sultry title song of Lana's current album into an epic and timeless piece of house music, combining her melancholic vocals with a rich piano, synth & guitar instrumentation, a tight groove and an infectiously hypnotic arpeggio sequence.

In the last couple of years Dusseldorf producer Maximiljan has made a serious impact with his
EPs on labels like Noir, Liebe*Detail and Mobilee. Now he is stepping up to make his Moon
Harbour debut. On his first EP for the label, Maximiljan serves up three deeply unique tech
house cuts that are designed for maximum dancefloor dynamism.

Bottling up both old and new school influences, Maximiljan has collaborated with Tapesh before
now and is already leaving dancers in awe thanks to his DJ sets all over Europe and beyond.
Up first is 'All The Way' which is a pleasingly raw house jam from the off. Deep, spacey kicks
and swirling ambient pads make for a keen Detroit vibe and when a pained female vocal comes
in with a squelchy acid line it makes for a fantastically soulful bit of analogue house.

'No Space' is more playful, with a curious melodic hook darting about above soft focus drums.
Another fantastically well-sampled vocal imbues the track with a real sense of emotion and
crunchy percussion ensure that it is a perfectly textured affair. This is the sort of classy peak
time tune that keeps floors sweating but in subtle ways where last cut 'Trust Me' is the most
direct of them all. Hurried kicks and scurrying percussive rattles surge below slick wood block
hits and splashes of cymbal drama.

Like all the tracks here, this final offering is a perfectly physical one that manages to be deep
and spacey at the same time, confirming that Maximiljan has a great grasp of groove perfectly
suited to Moon Harbour.

of our breakthrough new artists "ME & Her" get on the remix wheel to turn it into a dark and trippy version with a very intense feel. Another team of stars within our crew, Robosonic, who need no further introduction with several hit records under their belt and owners of a trademark sound, deliver "Between Us" a delightfully crafted work that incorporates tasteful vocals by Ashibah.
The carefully modulated synth stabs create a romantic atmosphere while the beatwork is something Cord and Sacha truly know how to master. Another OFF favourite and a hit maker in his own right, Purple Disco Machine unleashes all his

Celesta Records is a brand new label kicking off with a fine EP from Kiko & Spencer K entitled Kenloto. It features two new original cuts and infectious remixes by Miguel Lobo and Paul C & Paolo Martini.

The young and exciting production pairing of Kiko & Frenchman Spencer K has been exciting dance floors with their hot hook up for a while now. Inspired by a range of modern hose and techno artists their sound is fresh and functional and always keeps floors moving.

First up here is Kenloto, a chunky bit of bass driven house with crisp perc. It builds to a nice tense peak with lots of loose, jumbled textures and will make for a fine bit of peak time listening. The other original is Whack, which is another tough house cut with firm bass, old school New Jersey snare patterns and rolling drums that are rich, warm and rubbery.

Miguel Lobo's remix is a more spritely thing with lithe chords, colourful synths and and a pent up energy that just never stops giving. Closing out the fantastic package is Paul C & Paulo Martini who remix Kenloto into a trippy affair with ghoulish voices, hard hitting drums and lots of dark wave energy that will carry you late into the night.

Pascal Feos raised the temperature of 'Fever' with deep Techno grooves plus Chicago and Detroit sounds. PRAXXIZ contest winner DJ Sur from Houston Texas pushed the envelope and created a funky-fresh version with some experimental elements.

Italian imprint Dabit Records is racking up the releases, this time enlisting the services of UK producers Hidden Spheres and HBN.

The EP opens up with 'Need Your Love' a piano cut which croons and filters its way through 7 mins of pure unadulterated house goodness.

Italian producers Die Roh are asked to work their analogue magic on the 'Need your Love' track. Upping the tempo and taking things back to the early 90s in one fell swoop. A raw, deep down and dirty interpretation of the original and a great addition to the EP.

'No House' by Hidden Spheres is a pitched down anthem of a track, big strings and delaying vocals make for an epic feel.

Finishing things off is the more tech tinged 'Control'. The Korg M1 organ bass is in full affect, nicely tied together with a chugging beat and yet another big vocal cut.

A great package with a track for every occasion.

Negro is Ante Perry´s live project together with his friend Flo Mrzdk. They released their debut EP, incl.
Kolombo remix, on Kittball Records last in April 2013 and just remixed the Danish boy Kant, which will also
appear on Kittball. The EP contains 4 tracks and includes a masterpiece of a remix by Raw Rootz, a Spanish
duo from Cordoba, and a special vinyl only track, which will not be availeable digitally. If you have listened to
the full EP, there only will be 4 words to describe it: this is DOPE SHIT!

Munich based, Lisbon born, Lino Rodrigues, more commonly known as 'Alkalino', is the next artist on the quickly moving Italian Imprint DaBit Records. Here the Portuguese ex-patriot drops three tracks that traverse his musical output to date.

The title track, 'Feeling of Life' touches on the techier side of the house genus, a booming filtered bassline reverbs in and out of a spoken narrative by the dj, producer and owner of Intent Recordings Gene Siewing, whilst a driving, continuous beat pulls the track on. Probably the most peak time track on offer here.

Next up is 'Martin Luther King', which, surprise surprise samples the great civil rights leader himself. It has almost become a cliché within deep house to sample the Dr, but Alkalino manages to keep the spoken word to a minimum and heaps the emphasis on the musicality of the track.

The EP is rounded off by 'Isolation', the beat and percussion wouldn't sound out of place in a 'Future Sounds of London' track, if only sped up and combined with a few more rave samples, but instead they are pitched right down and complemented by a pad chord progression which works as the track's hook. A haunting vocal interlaces with the chords and bass to build an almost progressive track, a perfect way to end this EP.

The Kestrel (Turmfalke) will rise in Spring 2015, starting the new label by Matthias Springer with focus on physical media. The philosophy behind is to invite friends to this special cross-over concept. Every artist presents an original in combination with remixing eachother. In the end 4 tracks on one release, no special genre is preset, everything can happen. Frank Hellmond is the special guest on the first Turmfalke release, bringing in his unique deephouse flavour that features some pretty nice vocals from Snowflake, while Matthias is turning it into a combination of dub and acid ... but just have a listen.

After the success of All In, Sven Tasnadi's latest album on Moon Harbour, the label is now
delighted to offer up a selection of remixes from it. Those enlisted to add their take on the fine
originals are the internationally acclaimed talents of Nick Curly, Map.Ache, KaiserDisco, Simon
Baker and Cristian Viviano.

Up first is 8Bit label boss and Trust man Nick Curly. The Mannheim producer has long been a
tastemaker when it comes to tech house and his effort here is a fine one. His take on 'This Girl'
flips the track into a deep and loopy number with sunny pads, cosmic melodies and non stop
beats that will keep people moving for days.

Map.ache (a founder of the KANN label in Leipzig) then goes all dubbed out with his excellently
watery, rolling remix of 'Until The End.' It's a moody, heads down and thoroughly underground
track for intimate backrooms that has airy hi hats and a muffled vocal phrase lulling you into a
trance.

The prolific Hamburg based duo of Kaiserdisco (associates of labels like Drumcode and My
Best Friend) then turn 'No Laws' into a perfectly roughshod house shuffler with undulating
drums that really get under your skin. The percussion is subtle, there are all manner of soft
shakers and distant synths that really add to the overall effect, and the result is truly fist
pumping.

UK star Simon Baker, of labels like Last Night on Earth and 2020 Vision, then goes hard with h
thumping, drum led version of 'Rest.' A robust bassline also adds weight to his groove and
some spangled synth patterns ensure this one will really set the 'floor alight at peak time.

Lastly, Italian Beatport remix competition winner Cristian Viviano comes correct on his full
blooded, barrel chested remix with its physical drums, skipping percussion and cutting hi hats.
This one bobbles along at a fair pace and is sure to sweep up dance floors as it rolls along
unstoppably.

Each one of these remixes breaths fresh new life into the originals and adds a personal spin on
things. They all make for fine listening and are sure to make their way into plenty of top DJ
record bags this summer.

Lucidflow have a habit of kicking off the year in style. Even by that standard, Justin Berkovi's entry                                    
onto the label ­ coming in both digi and wax flavours ­ is quite remarkable. 
 
Prelude heads up a quartet of tracks in style, featuring one of the best drops in recent times. The                                      
lush strings and gentle keys provides one of those "stop and gawp at your mates" dancefloor                                
moments. Equally distinct is Dusk And Beyond, featuring bending and urging synths that sit                            
somewhere between classic Detroit and the proto­Plaid works of Balil. 
 
The classic Lucidflow template is represented by Something Together, running with airy prog­dub                          
tones and spoken word snippets, while What Will We Become goes for no messing Detroit in intent                                  
­ whip­cracking claps and a commanding vocal that cuts across the mix. 
 
This release marks a new beginning for Berkovi, better known for his tougher Music Man, Force Inc,                                  
Djax and Harthouse releases over recent years. After haunting the b­side of one release too many,                                
a reboot into a more beloved and emotional techno template is obviously reaping dividends.                            
According to the man himself, this is no trend following phenomenon: I've always produced deeper                              
music, more often than not even years ago was always pushed to B sides of EPs or remixes but                                      
now it's the main thing I want to do, techno with soul. After releasing a lot of more melodic material                                        
on labels such as eevonext and an album for Trapez a few years ago I want to return to solely                                        
concentrating on this style for my music and live sets'

Sven Tasnadi's 12 track long player All In will be released in spring 2015 and is a second full length statement
from one of the scene's most consistently on form producers.

Long time deep house and tech producer Sven, who hails from Leipzig, Germany, has been perfecting his own
seductive and atmospheric sound for almost a decade on labels like Cocoon, Smallville, Cargo Edition and of
course Moon Harbour. This album is his second after an electronica effort called Slow that featured more non
dance floor focussed tracks.

After my last album I wanted to make one for the dance floor,' says Sven. I had the idea only to produce pieces
that fit into my sets. I do not just like peak time, but also warm up beats, so I really wanted quieter pieces that you
can play at the appropriate time and that aren't too demanding. Hence the name All In... it is great for any time
and situation.'

The album is a cross-section of Sven's work from the last eight years style-wise, even though it was written in the
last six months using an Electron Octatrack, NI Maschine and Ableton. Things open up in deep and smoky dub
house fashion with 'Until The End' and then slowly build through the kinetic rubbery kicks of 'Silent Floors', the
bendy synths and curious melodies of 'No Laws' and the lazy, low-slung and lo-fi house funk of 'Sleeping Dogs.'
Cuts like 'Keep Rolling' with their rattling percussion and jazzy chords feel both musical but groove driven, 'I Like
You' proves Sven has a sample friendly playful side and then 'Clocks' gets a little more pumped up and bouncy
as the mid point arrives.

Wisely varying textures and tempos as he goes, 'Eighteen' then gets dark and deep, 'The Holy Grail' explores
more minimal sound design, 'This Girl' speaks of a classic house influence with its cleverly filtered vocals and oh
so nimble bass, then 'Rest' gets all spooky and syrupy with it ghostly coos and slithering rhythms. Closing down
the journeyed LP in style is the mystical and infectious 'Cosmic Flight' with its feathery drums and off kilter
melodies.

All in all this album is a complete and perfectly realised world that lays out Sven's trademark sounds in all their
glory. Deep and meaningful, danceable but equally as good just to listen to, All In is another fine success for both
artist and label.

It's been a while since the two buddies Martin Eyerer and Chopstick worked together on some music after their big hits 'Electric' and 'Make My Day (Haunting)' back in 2006/2007. Only now the two labelfounders (Kling Klong and SUOL) found the time to get back behind the gear and finalize two great new tracks. Defected artist Sonny Fodera from London provided his typical slamming remix so it's all set for a great comeback for Eyerer & Chopstick.

collaboration of Andre Crom and Chi Thanh is no stranger to giving their dancefloor
treatment to some of the most respected artists of these days. Now indie pop
favourites Metronomy seek their magic touch to turn "Love Letters" into a house tune
with all the ingredients to create an epic vibe.

The vocals of the song, that gives name to Metronomy's 4th studio album, are turned
from its original psychodelic 70's rock form into a profound stab-driven deep house
jam, with a bouncy bassline and great synth progressions suitable both for radio

Its hard to think of dutch wonderboy Franky Rizardo without inmediately associating it with his massive contributions to the Defected catalogue or his broad spectrum of mainroom hits including collaborations and remixes work for some of the most important names in the game. Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. The beautiful and incredibly talented Spanish singer now living in berlin was kind enough to let our crew express their own interpretation of "Vermillion" (her new Single coming out in June) and as always, they turned it into another dancefloor essential full of warmth and deep feelings.

The song builds up with vibe synth stabs and horns that create a perfect atmosphere for the sweet vocals while a groovy bassline and housy drums add the perfect dance factor to the whole thing, all constructed with finesse and great taste. A true masterpiece that will sure ring in everyone's ears for a long time.

JD Samson & MEN - All The Way Thru (Andre Crom & Chi Thanh Remix)

A while ago, OFF Recordings head Andre Crom was captivated by "All The Way Thru", a single by Jd Samson's new project band "Men"; part of their second album and already receiving lots of praise from specialized media like Pitchfork.

So he got in touch with the former singer of electronic-punk act "Le Tigre", to see if it was possible to craft a club version of this pop-electronic anthem with catchy vocals and an indie feel. Luckily, everyone was thrilled with the idea, and it rapidly came to life.
Crom teamed up with OFF's latest core act signing Chi Thanh to create a modern yet classic feeling remix, which is a sure shot for the dancefloor with it's organ stabs and clever use of the epic vocal

Kruse & Nuernberg are without a doubt one of the most active duos in our core act roster and after being part of the 5 year anniversary EP and extensive tour while also releasing their work on Exploited and Rejected, we couldn't wait to deliver another pair of their trademark dancefloor weapons.

This ep is aimed straight for the prime time of discerning house club, starting with "Boom Boom Ciao", a bass-house driven by heavy synth licks and a very clever programming, full with intense breakdowns and variations. These days house music is often about a 4/4 beat and a catchy groove. The idea is to do something simple to which you can get your groove and, and not so much about listening. The borders of electronic dance music makes room for the hypnotic beats, the driving grooves, but not always the melodic universes. Leman & Dieckmann have been making music for several years, both together and apart, but almost all of their music was driven mainly by the beat. But both having an urge to discover the dynamics of melodic synths and melodic percussion they decided to make an album. They agreed that the album had to tell a story, and like so many times before in music the topic became love. The story they try to tell through the music on the album 'Takes Two' is the story of a breakup, the denial of the need of love, and the discover of the fact that often in life it takes two, to be happy. The album features the Swedish/Danish jazz singer TYRA on the groovy house track 'Movement' and the percussion based Balearic inspired track 'The Meeting'. Also the title track 'Takes Two' is featured by the Danish singer Ms. O, who, on top of beautiful Rhodes chords and minimal drums, manages to tell the story of sincerely need and unrequited love. 'The Stranger', a track about the autodidactic act of a one night stand as a part of moving on, is featured by the very talented Danish singer Julie Christiansen. The album, which consist of 10 original tracks, ranges from the deepest atmospheric Deep House to groovy Tech House to old-school trancy house. 'Takes Two' definitely differs from the masses, and bring a breath of fresh air to the circulating sound of 2014 .

Gynoid Audio maintains it's LTD Series with a new split EP containing much character, coarse-grained attitude, thrilling sequences and delightful soul. On one side we have the follow up of the "Procurators" by Mattias Fridell, exquisitely paired with a mechanically grooving remix by Tomohiko Sagae. Turning the plate reveals the minimalistic and focused purist techno cut by Future 16, the "Filaments PT4". A deep trip into dark frequencies and mental groove tunes of high quality sounds. Natural Rhythm celebrates its 13th release with a super vinyl only techy , darker , monsterish ep from the italian super producer Giuseppe Cennamo who is wellknown for his releases on : Desolat , 8 bit , Leftroom or Monique Musique . His fans ranged from Loco Dice, Marco Carola , Luciano to the greatest one Mr.Carl Cox himself and his music is an open door to all people are truly loyal to the underground sound.

As label bosses of Lucidflow and Klartraum themselves, Nadja Lind and Helmut Ebritsch are afforded the luxury of dictating their music vision as they wish. This culminated in last year's Secret Moon, the second studio album of the pairing, focussing on their fluid dub laden house grooves. This year has the other major benefit of being label bosses come in to play, with the Secret Moon remix project seeing friends and inspirations drafted in to contribute.


Along with the immense digital package (which sees huge talent in the shape of Of Norway, Saytek, Trinity & Beyond, UGLH, Corrie Loi, G. Pal, Mirza-Zadeh, Weisses Licht, Ricciciomoto and The Messenger chipping in), Lucidflow are releasing vinyl only editions from the remix LP. Joining Alexi Delano, D. Diggler and David Alvarado from the first 12', are Ian Pooley, Weisses Licht and Vince Watson.


Diving Deep sees a downtempo deep dub interpretation from Weisses Licht, retaining the warmth of the original rather than choosing to be alien and gaseous. While Ian Pooley continues with the deep theme, his version is more direct, each dub twang on the beat driving the track on and acting as a firm foundation for the easy going keys.


Emotive electronic maestro Vince Watson is tasked with tackling Map Of Truth, turning in a balearic coastal groove, reminiscent of Chicane's seminal reworking of Furry Freaks. Finally, the original of the deep as you like Sell Your Soul is included; cunning looped vocal snippets and warm undulating textures provide the setting for an 80's influenced keyboard solo.


Part one of the wax edition has already seen huge support from major entities such as Laurent Garnier, Ivan Smagghe, Black Strobe, Dubfire, Seth Troxler, Luciano, Slam and Hernan Cattaneo. Part two seems certain to continue this trend, and whet the appetite for remaining parts of the package.

Simone Liberali has gone through a very successful road this past year and now is the time for his stop at Bad Barbie Records with an amazing single named Handshake. In this fantastic track we will hear how a simple groove goes building itself alongside a vocal line that complements perfectly the groove of the track. Slowly a fantastic rhythm comes from the low-end generated by a percussions group that perfectly blends with the bass line. The ambiences created by the synths and pads in the breaks, generates the needed tension to completely blown up any dance floor with this fantastic clubby track. Another newcomer is Andre Butano who paired up with Pool Muzik to remix this great single. They decided to work on a strong groove created by some bone shaking percussions but always keeping the original track soul very present as any great remix haves. Some other battery elements and very well placed arrangements completes a fabulous track creating a great party vibe. The last and not least of the remixes, comes also by another Chilean producer, Altamirano, who lean towards the tech house style. As his countrymen did, he also worked in a terrific way with the percussions line that are the main leading element of his remix, alongside the main vocal that suffers many unique arrangements during the whole track, but always drawing the attention and letting the powerful and continuous deep bass line do its thing.

Idriss D's second installment in his Dib series on Memento comes with an original track backed by a remix from Spanish maestro Eduardo De La Calle. Titled Alger', it's a heartfelt dedication to the Algeria capital, a city that was a key factor in Idriss growing up and formative teenage years. The feeling and mood of his youth are the inspiration behind this superb piece of music, a diverse work touching on several levels of composition. The Original opens with a field recording intro followed shortly after by heavy bass shots and a pulsating kick drum. Snare patterns and an underwater synth melody hit the speakers with an abstract touch, while halfway through the pace changes with a new bass coming in. An experimental and brave track, it reflects Idriss' DJing style and his long sets, going into different mental spaces, a wavelike combination of beats and up&down rhythms. Eduardo De La Calle's trademark analog sounds fill his Tribute remix with acid keyboards, rim shot grooves, industrial noises and metallic vibes, swinging with a rolling bass line and bringing the original percussions to the fore.

This combination is evident from the off with the fluid, pulsing and atmospheric title track Circles' and continues with the ambient cinematic tones of 'Break Me'.The groove-heavy 'A', a track that originally featured on Barem's 2011 Minus album 'After The Storm', delights as the digital exclusive on a package that's topped to perfection by a rare and epic rework of 'A' from label boss Dubfire, that centres around its wonderfully subtle, yet powerful bassline.
