Na Zrak Records presents its fourth vinyl released: “Moments” by Yaroslav Lenzyak.

The genre proposed is a kind of minimal with also techno influences characterized by the important groove. Surely, it is a very recognizable sound and different from what is mainstream, it’s an underground genre. In the side A1. “Besedki” is a minimal track A2. “Ninety - Nine” is the track for the middle of the night.

The fourth vinyl release on Manjumasi comes from veteran producer Padre, aka Pete Lazonby. Baby Steps & Grand Gestures showcases five diverse tracks of deeply evocative music coming together as a tight two-sided concept.

The Baby Steps open with the crystalline innocence of Jacob’s Divine and conclude with the smooth primordial bubblings of Origin of Species.

The Grand Gestures begin with the harnessed dark energy of Feed Your Eye. Sensuous chills and thrills continue with Thousand Fingers, and Last Dance completes the narrative in some romantic sci-fi ballroom.

Tokyo. Berlin. Hamburg. Snork #107 is a best-of-journey through the underground techno sounds of vibrant metropolitans. Five tracks with five totally different sounds – each handpicked by label owner and underground enthusiast Christian Schachta, and each a masterpiece of its own.

Starting off with the Hamburg based techno duo 7Function, the release directly reveals the true force of handmade basement techno: hard, headstrong, and honest. Straight outta Tokyo but with a reminiscent core of 2000s Berlin sound, Lyoma presents an energizing track that knows how to bounce. With “Um Midi” his fellow Mitchelrock, also Tokyo-based, proves his peculiar sense of experimental, minimalistic tunes.

NerkKirn from Berlin open up an enlightening early morning track. And last but not least, as digital gimmick, label owner Christian Schachta aka Syntax Error adds a wonderfully tricky, typically snorky track leading to melancholic memories and hopeful anticipation of many sweaty club nights.

Cumuli, Bvrton's Levitate original mix happens where mighty monk-chanting meets cinematic drones and ethnic percussions. This musical piece might let you levitate on the dancefloor.

PIV041 sees the return of inhouse artist M-High with his long awaited "By My Side" EP.

The title track pushes slick breakbeat grooves alongside a signature touch on the chords arrangement. New York house legend Jovonn provides experience on the remix, which suits any dancefloor occasion. B side "Tomorrow is another day" takes a more musical approach with a range of energetic vibes all around. Influential contemporary house tastemaker Prunk is to serve-up his new album Le Funk on his nown PIV Records in 2023. The nine track record showcases his mastery of sublime and seductive sounds from across the house spectrum.

Dutchman Prunk has slowly but surely become a real underground mainstay. He has built a fine collective of talents on his own label and spearheaded a new take on house music that is all about real feelings and effortless grooves. His standout solo and collaborative material has seen releases via the likes of Djebali, Key Records, Ewax and of course PIV, while he has headlined clubs and festivals all over the world. Next to this his own often sold out label showcases that have taken place everywhere from fabric (London) to Shelter (Amsterdam) vis The BPM Festival.

Now he makes his most completed coherent statement yet with his adventurous new album Le Funk. It is a distillation of all his influences and many years of house history with plenty of his own fresh signature touches.

Recent times have seen After Caposile become one of the most sought after locations on the underground circuit, and this reflects in their acclaimed record label - Caposile Music. This Spring they have prepared a stellar release of firm favourites from the club. “The Sound Of Garden” release will come in two parts, both on 12” and will include a heavy hitting lineup such as Romanian duo Super Moon (Arapu & Priku), family members and residents Maggio, Francesco Maddalena, and Yaar Kü, Silat Beksi, Mihai Pol, Giuliano Lomonte and Sublee. A perfect blend of club affiliates, coming together to provide the soundtrack from that famous garden.

Volume One kicks off with the dynamite combination of Arapu & Priku under their Super Moon moniker. Hypnotic movements set a serious tone for the journey ahead, mysterious elements simmering throughout “I Can Help”. Dreamy meets dance floor in Maggio’s aptly named “Just Landed” floating synths calmly lift you, but you remain grounded by the killer elasticated groove. After delivering the previous EP on the label Yaar Kü returns with a stripped back encounter, his unique touch shining bright. Silat Beksi provides a certain sunshine jam with his track “Jaho”, you immediately feel the warmer times are coming, after parties in the sun.

Landing just a few weeks after is the equally special Volume Two, packed full of ammo for the tastemakers. Mihai Pol inaugurates proceedings with “Sugar Rush”, the 7 minute quest boasts shimmering synths and a sweet bass line to match. Francesco Maddalena ups the ante with his garage influenced “Breath Of Air”, an energy boost for the peak times of the party. Giuliano Lomonte’s “More Time” rumbles from the get go, begging to be played on a high quality system to allow each of the intricate details to speak for themselves. Last but not least is Sublee, his “Day Six” track is a chugging body of work, blurring the lines between house and minimal with a raw edge.

With a huge European tour on the table, and a release of this stature After Caposile are flying high at the moment with an indispensable team behind the project. Expanding on their party paradise location, but simultaneously propelling innovative underground sounds under the Caposile Music offshoot. Both Volume One and Two will land this May, right on cue for the summer time madness.

Pig&Dan on Break New Soil? Sounds like a no-brainer! We're pumped to have the boys on the label with their debut release „Aptitude"! Igor and Dan and I have been friends for a long time, sharing stages all over the world for decades and have actually released a collaboration EP and a full album on Adam Beyer's Truesoul records earlier this year. On „Aptitude“ you'll find three full-on techno jams, showcasing P&D's signature sound - combining their vast knowledge and admiration of classic Techno, yet looking firmly to the future with another modern sounding production. Welcome to BNS, boys!

We are excited to come back with the twenty eighth release in the label catalog and this time it is the second Ten Walls album called “Lights For The Dreams”. Album contains nine original compositions, each of them has its own character and a story to tell. And they are mixed into one evolving journey. A lithuanian electronic music composer and live performer Marijus Adomaitis world-wide known as Ten Walls has always been delivering a highly sophisticated sound and this time is none other. Even better - the variety of soundscapes throughout the album brings emotions of fulfillment and leaves one somewhere out of this reality. It is definitely the highest point of creativity where every single detail matters as well as the whole picture, from outmastered usage of today's technologies to the artful and conceptual point of view. While using less, the author somehow manages to reach the most of it and in his own way.
“Lights For The Dreams” is full of different textures and colors, yet keeping a similar tempo in most of the tracks, giving a few chills in the middle of the album with “Loot” and closing it with “SSV Normandy”. Most of the compositions keep the spirit lifted up in uptempo moods with tight rhythms like “Halo”, groovy arpeggios from “Daily Rehearsal” and touching atmospheres in “Jorge”. As mentioned before every composition is exceptional with its own freedom of mindset. The title track “Dreams” brings recovered electro vibes, precisely constructed structure and spills symphonic greatness above the minimalistic groove. The introductory “Neighbourhood” is all about what feelings sound like, a mixture of electro-acoustic soundscape grabs attention from the very start of the vinyl. The following “Teacher” continues a similar soundscape but in a totally different manner and genre. While dark and dashing “Dungeons” fills the gap of dubby Techno with a well crafted wide spectrum of moods.
“Lights For The Dreams” was mostly inspired by a video game “Moonray” that Marijus was creating a soundtrack for. “The music in this album represents a very creative period of my life where I just couldn’t stop recording new music. One of the big inspirations was a video game called “Moonray” that used part of this album in its soundtrack. It’s a very exciting period of my life.” - says Ten Walls. Album contains nine compositions while the soundtrack for the video game contains 30 original pieces with 10 minutes introductions for each one. “Moonray” is a surreal 3rd-person action RPG set in a fantastical sci-fi world. The early release of the video game is going out in the mid of summer 2020.
The full-length album is divided into two parts and pressed into vinyl. Though it is mixed into a continuous play, the vinyls have fine marks at the start of every composition so that one could drop the needle exactly at the start of any track.

PIV032 comes straight from the studio production of experienced native Dutchmen Dennis Quin, who keeps the classic feeling on point with the original track Chanté - "A tribute to Eau de Chanté".

Now, we´re very happy to present a very promising new face: Welcome Jacopo Susini! When I heard the demo Jacopo sent in, the decision to release the music was only a matter of minutes. Jacopo presents that exact raw and hypnotic style of Techno we love so much. Choosing a remixer was an easy task - Patrick Siech, a member of our little label family for many years, was the obvious choice - and unsurprisingly he delivered the goods as always! „Techno Poem“ opens up the ep. It comes with a bubbling driving baseline and circulated hi hat elements which are creating a full body shake within the track. The beat structure starting with hypnotic pads which leads you into the crispy arpeggio sawtooth lead theme. Deep Male Vocals in a poetic art moves the track not even physically but also into mental experience.

„Dance With Demons“ starts with stomping heavy drums and a rolling low end. The whole is supported by distorted percussion and ruthless mini-breaks. Dark self recorded female low pitch vocals with different style of programming giving the listener the clear order to obey the dance floor. In contrast to the rough environment the epic pads and a beautiful sensitive melodie give the track an ambivalent feeling.

„Pushing On“ combines classic house with new school techno while adding also an extra portion sexiness. The catchy vocal deeply reflects its housy origin. The dna of the track is besides the vocal its groove programmed claps and the dark house chords. Within the track the listener will be surprised by breaks with guitar distortion pitch effects which will be followed by an explosive energy.

Am|Phase 001 is an exploration of culture and emotion. Travel, landscape, people have shaped this record in order to make the listener’s mind entering a world that belongs to him. Modular synthesizer is the heart of the EP and acoustic instruments are jamming around in a genuine and deep way.

The fifth vinyl release of Petra Beat Records is a musical exploration by the artist MHADAN who debuts with his Introspective Ep.

Friedrich Raphael preps us for a glistening summer with the release of his second EP on Istanbul based Petra Digital/Vinyl Recordings, entitled 'Koi'. Friedrich pays homage to classic deep house with his first track, 'Vitra'. Herb Rhythm takes a slightly different route with his remix of 'Villa', motoring towards a garage feel with its disjointed drum arrangement, weaving in and out with its prolific chords, notably suited for one of those dance floor moments you could not possibly forget.

Co-founder of Lisiere Collectif, and self-confessed synth geek ardb reveals his alter ego focused on repetitive sounds, trancey motifs and the true rulers of this planet, cats.

These four tunes combine a raw toolkit vibe with the softness of late night ambient excursions and a sense of twisted serenity, all feline qualities inspired by Mitzy the cat, as the two navigated together last year’s pandemic inside a small apartment in Bucharest.

The fourth pressing to arrive from the Romanian imprint feeder sound is titled “Mirror Time EP” and features three intriguing cuts signed by Mihai Dinu aka Bucurie. Well-known in the international scene for his collaborations with Depth Over Distance, Otaku, Stamp Records, Hubble Recordings, Honne Music as well as for his independent releases on Bandcamp, the local DJ and producer brings forward a distinct sound which blends his deepest thoughts and feelings with hypnotic and vibrant microhouse or minimal techno music.

The artwork for this 12’’ was carefully created by Maria Bălan as a part of the label’s ongoing live streaming events which brings together musicians and visual artists in order to connect the two different creative fields, expand beyond their borders and deliver fresh cultural alternatives.

With Dragutesku, Piktor and Oana being the ones that so far contributed to the catalogue, feeder sound stands on solid grounds, enjoying the support of a worldwide movement which can interact with the platform in numerous ways. Bucurie’s productions have been noticed by the team for quite some time now so this record was a natural step to follow after his participation on the podcast series, the exclusive premieres and the EP Review sections, as well as on one of the live streams.

Side A is reserved for “Spacefunk”, a wobbling uplifting journey designed with a solid bassline, steady-paced percussion and eerie ever-evolving background effects. The reverberations and the subtle intertwined textures create a mysterious feeling, like being lost in space and letting the spiralling sounds to guide your path.

On Side B we find “El espacio” rolling with a warm vibration built with a prominent broken beat that elegantly merges with euphoric melodies and bright progressive arrangements while “The call” closes the EP with a driving dubby sound. Here, the atmosphere appears to be dimmer, being lead by delayed notes, subtle maritime chords and spacious breakdowns.

The Romanian producer known as Dirty Culture represents a distinctive, dense, atmospheric sound and a crunchy rhythm section. release we decided to skip a few catalogue numbers and go straight to #1000'. Because nothing less than those four big blocky letters could describe the boldness of this record
containing the most groundbreaking tracks of the 1990s underground techno scene by one of the most snorky and most famous artists:

Quoting him: It's an ep of some of the most influential tracks of the alternative UK techno sound from the 1990s. The UK school of techno was wildly different to the more accepted Detroit techno imports of the time, gnashing its teeth to an altogether more alternative and cracked out beat. The whole point of it was to sound as different and unique as possible. Love Manifesto, our 3rd vinyl only release, is Robert David's artistic expression, and an introspection in the meaning of Love. What is love in all it's forms, how we accept or deny it, how society can change the meaning of it and deform it. This is a very special project in which the artist crossed over the realms of sound by creating a painting that was done in paralel with the original tracks, absolutely with no intention of becoming the cover of the project. But somehow it fitted perfectly. After a string of down-low digitally released techno experiments to his name last year, Malmö artist Emotional Ty takes it down a notch for the first vinyl output, leaving room for ambience and thought delivered on four tracker

Austria's Paul Walter comes head to head with Romania's most lyrical imprint, Catren. One track per each side, he doesn't compromise when it comes to quality, emotion and execution.

Reminiscent of earlier days Chilean productions which we need not name but will for melancholy's sake, the A side, "Yuil" takes us back to the days of Hireklon and Waiworinao, thought long forgotten and forsaken in favor of cold and austere expressions. Guitar strings harmonically banded together with minimalistic percussions, handclaps and indescifrable vocals compose what will be remebered as a hall of fame track in the years to come.

"Phobo", on the B Side, takes a more classical approach that will most likely bring back memories as well, catering to a more upbeat style, using poliphonic melodies and a two tone theme that drives the track forward alongside discrete drums and a swingy, fast paced bassline.

Switching to "Hacker", a more light hearted third course relying on dub influenced melodies and mid ranged basslines, Paul shows just exactly how versatile he is and the diversity that he is capable of bringing forward.

And so we come to "Rio", which makes use of constant atmospheric elements, the same technical expertise and thought out demeanor, strung togheter to finish off what is a somewhat abstract and tender "swan song" of the EP. Highly recomended and certified classic, vinyl only.

Another juicy vinyl from Positive Not Happy, releasing the third ep signed by label owners The Lumens. The title track “Milosky” starts as a high voltage electronic club groove typical of the duo, developing on a straight subtle bassline with airy arpeggios and contemporary acid elements. On the remix task, none less than Federico Molinari delivers a surprising electronic funk gem filled with plenty of synths combined in a top-class cosmic jam. On the B side The Lumens include in the Ep their very first studio joint, “Krember” is a solid spacy track lead by an addictive acid phrase and lush pads for a sure massive crowd reaction. Turin’s rising talent Denaila remixes “Sunrise”, completing the pack with an impressive raw minimalist cut.

With music promotion being what it is across the board it is refreshing to see labels keeping the focus on the music rather than wild artwork and overplayed promotional campaigns. Wsntme that has popped up from the underground with an aim to keep the spotlight on the music and not so much who produces it and thus removing any sort of bias form the listeners ear.


For the first EP there are two heavy hitters to choose from. B1 jam ‘Rghtdoe’, a crunchy groover with tight shuffling drums and deeply penetrating bassline. Filtered vocals from a certain Rapper roll over one and other adding serious attitude until the mood is lightened considerably with the emergence of the looping string section first made an appearance in the 70’s and has played a part in electronic music since. It doesn’t hang about for long and as quickly as it emerged it is gone leaving the pristine beats behind.

Flipping back over to side A and ‘Mryjn’ is a much more moody, muscular workout. Elongated bass tones and synths are drawn out alongside the pitched down musings of an unknown artist that certainly was not suffering from writer’s block. The inviting paddy synths envelope the lower end of the track frequencies like a warm blanket while the filtered noisey drums kick in all the right directions.

Damavand is a Dub Minimal Vinyl Only Label based in Teheran, Iran

We set a focus on deep minimalistic releases dedicated to the aspects of dub minimal, bringing this sound together with analog equipment and almost forgotten techniques of old roots music.

Venice based outfit Caposile Music are accelerating into 2022 with another fantastic release, this time calling on resident and family member, Yaar Kü. The young and talented producer has come into his element in recent times, gaining himself solid support from diggers and tastemakers alike. His CPSL004 EP includes three originals, and an innovative remix from Berlin based, DeWalta. Classy and sophisticated minimal movements from a rising star, and a revered remixer.

Constructed upon a hypnotic energy from the get go is opening track “Aura”, crisp and accomplished drum work chugs the track along, giving space for the mystical pads and synths to work their magic. Next up is “Jobu”, a quirky and rolling trip lasting around 7 minutes. The rippling bass notes are teased by the flashing vocal samples, extracted from garage classics of the past. Certainly a track to move things up a gear in the club.

“OBE (Out Of Body Experience)” is structured with pure finesse, each element and sound placed perfectly, moving in obscure directions but all still conversing taking you in a forward motion, yet urging your thoughts to wander in new directions. Meander founder DeWalta has been invited to join the Italian collective for the remix, and as expected his “Half Full Time Remix” is crammed full with the experienced producer's distinctive sound, a hazy encounter built for the after party hours.

The Caposile brand is growing at an alarming rate. What started off as crafting their sound and propelling their ideas to their Venezian audience has now led to them spreading like wildfire through Europe and beyond with a series of events and releases in the pipeline. The Caposile effect is in full throttle.

His last ep via the french griffe inprint showcased the young artists sound, and he continues on the path with his new outing via FLAWEd, crafting his own take on the moody Uruguayan sound that has come to prominence recently.

Release that shows the evolution and sound maturity of Niño Árbol in relation to his introspection and exploration of analog-electric instruments. The result is a well-rounded Ep with an original rhythmic base that leaves the paradigm of the traditional 4/4 metric, giving life to a new sound that'll serve as a turning point for Mexican Techno. Sidney Charles returns to his highly regarded imprint, Heavy House Society with an amazing 3 tracker, titled Rave Fever EP to heat up your summer.

In the last in 6 months Sidney Charles has had a string of heavy hitting releases on labels such as PIV, Eastenderz, Locus, Dark Side of The Sun, and No Art where he has delivered 2 genre Nº1’s in the Minimal Deep Genre on Beatport , 6 top 5 placements whilst also generating over 400k streams on Spotify alone. Charles is certainly riding on the crest of a production wave and with events coming back around the globe slowly, expect him to keep growing all the time.

Close Your Eyes from E-dward is a superbly smooth and seductive deep house track with supple drums overlaid with lush, puddle-like pads that are filled with warmth and colour. Mennie picks up the pace with the twisted synths and molten acid gurgles of Haumea, which is a driest but delicious house cut for the heads.

Lorenzo Magnozzi opens up the flip-side with a more peak time track thanks to its edgy stabs and militant hi hat and drum combo. This one is filled with astral drama and sci-fi tension of the highest order. BCFHBH closes out this standout EP with Nur Mix, a freaky minimal groove for the after party that will burrow deep into your brain synapses.

In the early 2000's, the Riverview mental hospital was closed down by the Government and the streets of Vancouver were filled with all that housed them.

One of these was a villain known only as Mr_Barcode, he was deemed mentally unfit to stand trial for his crimes and was incarcerated. In the mid 90's Mr_Barcode began a shadow mission to convert drum machines and standard MIDI hardware gear to use his patented sonic mind control chip.

He had created what was known as "Module 1" and was thwarted by CSIS and captured.

Once he was let loose Mr_Barcode began his experiment again, this time he found sympathizers in his cause- to brain wash the masses and for the machine to take over. Various labels enabled his mission, and thus gave way to the mind manipulation we see today on mankinds technology dependant lifestyle.
Believing his mission complete, Mr_Barcode interfaced with the machine by French kissing a plug socket in 2006, never to be seen until now.
These demos were sent, this time to bring anarchy, we love anarchy, bring on the Witching Hour.

A Side: “Spacerace” is reminiscent of the late 90’s rave scene, welcoming a fun, old school and groovy production complete with snarling bass and shuffling hats. B Side: “Los Niños” brings us back to an early 80’s EBM vibe. This groove driven cut armed with signature percussion hits, punchy and repetitive bass lines, and infectious vocals reveal a sound that stands toe to toe with the classics of the same nature.

Lobiani Records is a new label from Tbilisi, GE. infused with various local and international, newcomers and well known artists under secret allies.

House music maestro, Darius Syrossian, cues up a pair of scintillating tracks for Ben Rau’s META imprint, expertly showing his credentials when it comes to delivering effective club cuts.

An ever-present DJ and producer on the circuit for many years, Syrossian has built up an enviable catalogue of music for labels such as 8bit, Hot Creations, Robsoul, amongst others. He runs the
successful Moxy Muzik imprint, which racks up high vinyl sales and top Beatport chart positions, and also has a release for Crosstown Rebels dropping in the coming months. As a DJ, the Tehran-born
artist needs little introduction, suffice to say that he’s clocked up thousands of gigs and parties around the world, and in particular making Ibiza a regular mainstay in his annual diary.

The shimmering synth intro ‘La Tribu’ succumbs to a slammin’ and swinging four to the floor beat, as Syrossian teases vocal chops and deft organ stabs, building up the energy levels with some spanking
hand claps and an infectious groove. On ‘Dream Thief’, Syrossian parades a deeper side, as a shuffling rhythm is cloaked with reverbed percussion, warming Rhodes keys and freestyling guitar licks
for a highly sophisticated and contagious jam.

After two EPs on Knotweed Records with his long time musical partner Dying, Barakat delivers his first E.P. for Decision Making Theory under his new moniker: Zreik.

3 tracks full of intricate drum patterns, boomy bass, deep pads and reverberating chords: stripped down no-nonsense techno, aimed directly at the dance floor!

In a dynamic world where people and pixels are moving and changing at the speed of light, a strangely beautiful thing is happening to some beings. Some call it a brain delay, others “the wrong things at the wrong moment”, but the anxious people are simply calling it a gift. One of their favourite form of communication is art; for some music. The Anxious Delay Group is a species of artists who are sending out messages to others like them, to join a musical movement in their universal language.

Exhibit A1: “Sometimes” a track can be fully understood through the perspective of the creator or the listener; this one acts like the invitation introduction, built up through repetitive kicks and on top of them, a series of digital infused notes and an occasional alarm-kind-of-noise which informs you that the opening has begun.

Exhibit A2: A well-known character, “One Eyed Jack” surfaces up and invites the anxious gathering to dance. It is a very uplifting beat with a powerful bass and with a twist of irregular notes drifting through.

Exhibit B1: “Fast Feeling” opens a new dimensions, one where rules are only set by the sounds. With a more accentuated bassline, this shapeshifter is indeed a fast feeling, one where perscussion are quickly elevated to join the drums loop and the subtle blurry message that awaits to be decripted.

Exhibit B2: “Scene 357” might for some seem like a numerologic symbol, but it is indeed just a getaway that merges down all the tracks into it. A blend between strong kicks and subtly chords and percussions which mellow the soul. An androgyn track which translates into a perspective beyond the boundaries of the musical patterns.

Voynich returns for it’s 4th instalment, this time courtesy of Hendriks Toth and his Tian Shan EP, 4 original tracks showcasing Hendriks style in the production studio incorporating some African and Central Asian Nomad vocals across beats to move the floor or just to nod your head to.….

For the sixth release we are pleased to introduce Stefano Cattivera, a talented emerging producer and great DJ selector from Italy.

Two original tracks and a beautiful remix made by Fabio Della Torre (Bosconi Records owner), one of the Minimono duo, already present in our previous releases.

Side A is composed of two original mixes, "Know The Rules" a powerful 4/4 track suitable for any dancefloor with mental and enveloping melodies, and "Break The Rules" a soft and deep tribal track.

The B side is a 45 rpm furrowed by Fabio Della Torre remix of A2 track, evolving it into a micro deep house with a springy and rhythmic bass.

Daring techno figure Drumcomplex has been keeping busy, despite the current universal club hiatus. Cooped up in the studio, where no one but his close collaborators could enter, he has concocted his 3th album, consisting of eleven original tracks. It's a release that shows off his well-rounded, calculated style, bearing the typical Drumcomplex imprint, while incorporating more recent influences. Long time friend and melodic techno aficionado Frank Sonic makes two appearances, first one on the intro track, a more melancholic starter to an otherwise upbeat slew of tracks. Later on, as we're taken through intricate yet straightforward cuts like Universe and The Heat, he makes his mark on Deeply Anchored, an ethereal vocal-centered dreamy pad-heavy journey. We also encounter a collaboration with Ben Champell, a more heavy-hitting, ready for the floor cut. At over seven minutes, title track The Story Of Now is the LP's epic centrepiece, with subtle hints of breaks and an array of contagious percussion and metallic synths. While all tracks can be defined as techno, the producer's sound design chops are evident, considering the variety of soundscapes we're taken through track by track. A great example is Running Funky, who, albeit using an eponymous vocal loop, demonstrates Drumcomplex' ability to also get very, very groovy. The LP is rounded off however in true Complexed style with club-primed weapons such as Cook or Surrender with Uncertain from Vienna, that spell late night havoc. All in all, an enjoyable release both for at-home listening as well as in-club use, reaching far and wide into the realm of techno with rowdy rave capabilities and intricate melodies
