20 years in showbiz DJ & producer ask:me (aka Melih Ask)´s musical direction forges a sound of real house music because everybody understand house music, as it´s a spiritual thing. He teamed up with Munich´s house giant, B.Vivant who has an obvious commitment and passion for house music since over 15 years. Together they present 'Satisfaction', a deep house vocal bomb, which presents nice sounds from african music tools. So maybe that´s the reason why the brillian south african vocalist, Lokka gave her nice voice for this summer feeling tune. The huge deep impact remix comes from the colognes most wanteds Bedrud & Giese.

Bombero Y Chica is the quality Electronica/Tech duo from Thessaloniki, Greece created by Mr.Lookman and Despoina Terzidou. They've started working together since 2009 and they have managed to release two Electronica tracks for the RADIO LUNATICA compilations (released by V.I.M.RECORDS). Lately they've released the Deep-House single MUD LUST for MAD MUSIC. Their style is a unique blend of Downtempo Electronica, Deep-House and Tech-House aesthetics.
Gabriel Le Mar is one of the most important producers of the modern Electronic scene with dozens of releases for some of the best labels of the scene, quality Tech and Dubby-Tech sound and excellent productions skills.
Madi-lato is a unique Techy track with awesome Greek traditional music influences, superb floating, Jazzy drops and killer vocals while Gabriel's remix is something for the dancefloor, energetic and well driven Techy music with great atmos and superb melodic drops.

Keeping the very strong CP10's pace, the 11th installment is again one
for the techno purists that like their music deep and dark. The A-side
opens up with 'Diutisk' by the Dutch Pjotr G and his mate Dubiosity.
Their original is a banging affair, containing pulsating, throbbing
synthlines and just the kind of energy for those peaktime moments. Their
track scores a pretty exclusive and rare Dimi Angelis & Jeroen Search
remix. Well known for their sound on the infamous A&S records, they
deliver the goods here as well, as their remix was already played by
Jeff Mills and charted by Jonas Kopp.

The B-side has another very talented guy at the controls; Patrick
Krieger. The original mix of 'Access' has some nifty-used percussion
sounds leading in to a droning and haunting chord stab, while also
keeping the energy pace high. Expect a lot to come from this guy! The
remix duties for 'Access' are taken care of by Donor, who takes
Krieger's elements and delves even deeper into hypnotic-techno-land.
With every passing second, the track is growing on you, which closes the
CP11 package, and, again, makes it one not to be missed.

Felix Bernhard, King of - Abfahrt' comes around with a new album. The long player is called 'Two Dot One' or simply 2.1 and will be released on Thomas P Heckmann's cult label AFU resp. AFU Lab. TDO is the second LP after 'Durch und Durch' of this pleasant guy from a German region called 'Westerwald'. He lives an easy-going life in the remote tranquillity of his home country. Felix will never lose his good mood, even if telephone or internet service have their infrequent outages. And it is exactly this mood which he spreads to the crowd during his highly celebrated live performances. It is extremely important for him that people can really rock and are fascinated during his live acts of which each is supposed to be an unique experience for the party-lunatics out there. Just hitting the play-button is simply too boring. Moreover, Felix appreciates and enjoys the contact to his fans and puts a lot of effort in to stay in touch with them which results in his fans celebrating frenetic and crazy parties with him.

Nach - Durch und durch' ist TDO die zweite LP des sympathischen Jungen aus dem Westerwald. Er lebt im ruhigen Rhythmus seiner Ländlichen Heimat. Selbst wenn die Telefon oder Internet Verbindung mal wieder streikt, hat Felix immer noch gute Laune. Genau diese gute Laune versprüht er auch bei seinen gefeierten Live Performances. Hier legt er sehr viel Wert darauf, das sein Live Act die Leute fasziniert und sie dazu richtig abfeiern könnnen. Es soll eine Art Erlebnis sein für die feierwütigen. Nur play drücken ist langweilig. Zudem ist Felix immer sehr um den Kontakt zu seinen Fans bemüht und diese danken es ihm mit frenetischen und verrückten Party Abfahrten.

Two Dot One will surely cause some sweaty club nights. There is no reason for Felix to hide himself for his music since Felix and his sound have matured and are 'grown up' by now. He has created his very own sound and celebrates it in perfection. Somewhere between Techno and Minimal although hard to define and not suitable to be put in any kind of box. You could even call it the 'Felix Bernhardt' sound.
Quite playful but always very impulsive and dancefloor-orientated. With TDO he delivers 11 tracks which will work at any time. Moreover for 'warm ups' at home or for your next after hour, these tracks will surely provide a lot of fun.

Sicherlich wird auch Two Dot One wieder für schweißtreibende Clubnächte sorgen. Denn musikalisch braucht sich Felix schon lange nicht mehr verstecken. Mittlerweile ist Felix samt seinem Sound auch gereift und - erwachsen' geworden. Er hat seinen ganz eigenen Sound gefunden und zelebriert diesen in Perfektion. Irgendwo zwischen Techno und Minimal. Schwer zu greifen und unpassend für jegliche Schubladen. Man könnte fast schon von einem - Felix Bernhardt' Sound sprechen.
Sehr verspielt und doch immer treibend und Floor orientiert. Er liefert für TDO 11 Clubtracks ab, die zu jeder Zeit funktionieren. Aber auch als - Warm Up' daheim oder auf der nächsten After Hour macht das ganze sicherlich viel Spass.


You can feel the positive vibes and energy emitted by Felix . He is a true perfectionist with a lot dedication for each and every detail. His music might be 'minimal' but is never simple or without love. Every track has been polished down to the very last detail. You can feel that Felix does never mind going the extra mile and takes as much time for each track as it needs to become perfect.

Gynoid Audio, one of the few female labels around, started her course in 2010. She's now one of the most prolific labels when it comes to a variety of functional Techno, with focus on drive, mood, dirt and depth. The amount of well-established veterans (both old and new) who released or remixed for the label, or newcomers who saw their career start on Gynoid, is impressive. It also describes why its one of the most charted labels in it's field of operation. To celebrate the mains series 100th release and the continuance of the label we decided to preset a massive VA compilation spanning over three releases. Here is a limited vinyl press of the first volume from the 100th compilation.

Paving the way for the new era of DJs, Lexer's ascension to deep house superstar has been rapid since turning his hand to production in 2012, with the likes of Bakermat, Oliver Schories, Klangkarussel, Alle Farben and Tom Novy all supporting the German's signature sound. Joining the dots between Europe's hottest cities, the promising trailblazer can reminisce back on a packed touring schedule with performances from Amsterdam to Zurich, Berlin to Paris - not to mention plenty of festivals appearances in between.

Now with his impending release on Kittball, Lexer delivers yet another reason for industry leaders to take heed of his talents. Melodic breakdowns and a pensive hook are the reasoning behind the title of 'Thoughtful', a track that emits sunshine and solstice with every lasting note. The rumbling kick drums of 'Rusty Heart' make for a heavier number, whilst playful bass stabs, charming melodies and glorious strings make for a testament to Lexer's rocketing talents as a producer.

First up on remix duties is Kittball favourite in.deed, whose rendition of 'Rusty Heart' introduces a fuzzy bass hook and sultry atmospherics to a positively upbeat cut. Pulling apart the original and reconstructing it into a completely different creature, Ron Flatter then ties up the release with a stripped back and understated renovation that saunters along amiably.

Damn, time is running by. After releasing Mono Negro´s 3rd Strike EP in February, label head Ante Perry is
musically responsible for the 3rd be an ape release. 1980 was a great year for him, because he was born in
it. Born in 1980 It´s a hommage to a decade, which influenced him a lot. World traveller Teenage Mutants
was also influenced musically by this decade (he has a huge 80ties sound folder on his mobile), so there
wasn´t any better artist to remix Born in 1980. The ep will be completed by No Entrance With Shorts, a track
which was made after a night, where Ante was not allowed to enter a club with his fancy shorts somewhere
in Germany. Listen loud - freak out!

It is with great pleasure that we welcome Clio aka Karim Romain to the Electric Ballroom family.

Clio has been a firm favorite of us both as a producer and remixer for the last couple of years.

Vice&Virtue is a new Electronic label from Death on the Balcony. V&V will strive to release quality, honest music aimed at the dancefloor with a view to longevity, integrity & musicality.

Vice&Virtue is the collective vision of Mark Caramelli & Paul Hargreaves. They have been releasing & playing together to audiences worldwide under their Death on the Balcony moniker for 6 years now. Over this time they have notched up releases on esteemed labels such as Culprit, Pets Recordings, Smoke N Mirrors & Silver Network. With a wealth of unreleased music themselves plus all the other great artists who were sending material to them, starting their own imprint seemed like the next natural step.

Vice&Virtue's mantra is one of not to be lead by anything but their own vision, style and sound. They welcome a mix of artists to the family, some established and some just breaking through.

VAV001 opens with Wolf + Lambs, Slow Hands. Known for his synth laden work outs this follows his trade mark sound with a nostalgic 'tangerine dream-esque' feel. 'I Wish I Knew' will please his faithful followers whilst turning many new heads. Death on the Balcony's interpretation of Slow Hands stays true to the melodic original while adding some extra zest, hypnotic loops and a new energy for the dancefloor

On the flip we have Adham Zahran & Hisham Zahran. Hailing from Cairo, the brothers present Substance, a track that's full of groove, texture & melody. Themes that are consistent in their music for Mood Music, Galaktika and the tracks we've signed for future V&V singles! We couldn't think of anyone better to close this EP than Jamie Trench. His tracks are gaining huge momentum with 'Juicy' being a hit on the summer circuit. His label Roots For Bloom consistently produces the goods, regularly finding itself at the top of the Juno charts. 'Delphine' will be offered as an exclusive 'Vinyl Only' track. It has all the trademark 'Trench' hooks and grooves going on making it very playable whatever the hour.

Anything worth doing is worth doing Real. "Do Real" is classic peaktime Thomas Schumacher and the follow up to this year's "Fangbanger" single. It is the final track Thomas recorded for this album "Stand Up" due for release on his label Electric Ballroom in February 2013. If you're gonna do it, do it Real.

Hailing from Dortmund, Ante Perry has fast become one of his country's most consistent assets within electronic music. Not only responsible for apeoffice, the agency known for throwing reputable events across Germany, but the producer has repeatedly collaborated with the likes of Tube & Berger and Kolombo and also seen releases on labels including Systematic, Kittball, Great Stuff Recordings as well as his very own Be An Ape imprint.

This release sees Ante Perry team up with a host of names in his very own studio in Dortmund. First up Belgian artist Maxim Lany is the first to accompany him in a deeply warm number named 'Honigmitmais', a track possessing a sullen resonating sub-bass and romantic piano stabs with male vocal coos scattered throughout. 'XTC1' with German artist Dirty Doering then shifts the mood, dominated by a low-end unmistakably Perry with the addition of pitched down vocals and eerie atmospherics make for a trippier track altogether.

Up third, Kittball's leading lady Juliet Sikora joins the producer for a far more upbeat number called 'Phoenix Humboldt' that is comprised of playful chimes, cut up vocals and a lively bassline making this one best suited for peak time madness. Lastly Dutch producer Shimmer works alongside Perry on 'Salty Fries', a cut that features a salubrious arpeggiated hook, unintelligible vocals and trance-inducing synth washes to tie up an exciting and eclectic release.

Android vinyl #10 holsters renowned french producer Electric Rescue, who
brings his mate Maxime Dangles to the same party. Luckily for all
technolovers, it doesn't dissapoint.

A1 kicks off with the Dangles remix, an ubergroovy track, which uses its
arpeggios and stabs to the fullest, for those jacking moments on the
floor. The original 'Atami' doesnt lose the groove, but brings in some
bleeps and a more stripped down style, making it very modern and fitting
every set.

The B-side starts with 'Hondula', taking it a bit more deep and dubby,
exploring those dark corners in the club. A lot is going on in the space
between the beats, and therefore, it fits warmup sets, aswell as those
breathing moments in a peaktime set.

Last but not least, 'Nextape' continues the deep and purist approach, neat
percussion work and sinister synth stabs prove this one as essential in
your bag as all the other tracks.
