Born in Rome at the end of 80's, Stefano Rocchi grows up
listening music with the influence of his brother, Riccardo
Rocchi (DJ too in the 90's and now Professional Guitarist).
He starts working on music like a game, beatboxing' with his
friend Sirio Gry J.

His studies in Mats leads him to learn more and more in
Sound Design and Hardware structures, as sound
engineering.

His music culture through Techno, Detroit style, Chicago
House, as well as Minimal rhythm and Rock atmosphere
guided him into this Contrasto Ep.

Recently back from a season in Spain, he had the possibility to create releases on Love Blast,
Ephedrina, Stato Elettrico and Stencil Recordings. He played in clubs like Rashomon, Circolo deli
Illuminati, Magazzino33, Muzak, Bilbliotechina, Trecentosessantagradi and Animal Social Club in Rome,
plus Russian Bar (London) and Macarena Club (Barcelona). Actually he is going to grow up in the
European scene both for the production and performance areas. He also has recently joined Black Sam
Records family, and pressed his first vinyl on Love Blast, "Contatto".

Half a decade together. OFF Recordings has proudly reached the 5 year birthday mark and we are happy to share our celebrations with our loyal fans with an extended tour and a very exciting release project. We tangled our core acts and asked them to work on some special collaborations to spice up our evergrowing catalogue. A perfect family picture consisting of our amazing roster of talent, the ones that will be carrying our unique party flavor all over the world on this series of parties.

First comes a 3-way collaboration with our label boss André Crom teaming up with breakthrough producer Chi Thanh and vocal wizard Kevin Knapp to deliver "While You Stand" a deep house bass-driven tune with dominating rap vocals and clever synth arrangements to create a hip-house dancefloor vibe.

Next in line we got the praised duo Leftwing & Kody getting in the studio with another couple of brilliant creators, Kruse & Nurnberg, to launch "Turning", a bass-house killer packed with diva vocal snippets and all the ingredients to become a stand out track in any house mix.

Another important part of our family are the guys from Robosonic and Mat.joe...who get back together after their great "Got Game" release and send us yet another fantastic bass-house inspired song, with cool vocal sampling and an infectious flow.

To close up the package, hit-maker Purple Disco Machine and Teenage Mutant pair up to produce "Little Treehouse", a more percussive number, with a great groove, hip hop stabs and string and an overall mysterious yet dancefloor friendly vibe that will sure drive everyone mad...

We are very excited about introducing our whole family to everyone out there, we are OFF recordings and we are here to rock your party!

Although Berlin based producer, DJ and live act Re.You has never had a full release on Moon Harbour
before now, he appeared on the Shades of White EP alongside Philip Bader back in 2013. Now
though, this three track solo outing confirms him as a perfect fit for the label.

In the past four years, German born Marius Maier has won himself a lot of fans and admirers thanks to
his releases on labels like Mobilee, Souvenir and Saved Records, so his credentials are well assured.

Title track 'Don't Stop' is a loose and playful thing that chucks loopy, circular drums, little vocal riffs,
synth stabs and tumbling toms into the mix and lets them all groove along for almost six infectious
minutes. It's a spritely, silvery and slithering concoction that makes you shake your every limb.

'Stare' is a deeper, darker thing with rattling snares rolling over flappy kick drums and wobbling synths
ducking in and out of the space left behind. It's a tumultuous, drum lead affair that toys with your
expectation, threatening to drop or explode but never quite doing so, instead keeping you right on the
edge of your seat throughout.

The final offering is 'Nian' which again has super well defined drums and hits all tumbling and sparking
off each other. It's spacious stuff, too, and the indecipherable foreign language vocals add another
layer of intrigue to what is already a fascinating cut.

If you've ever heard drums as pristine and metallic, as shiny and glistening as these made by Re.You,
then do let us know... they are things of wonder that demand you dance in their presence.

Since we like to bring people together and are always eager to hear new combinations of talent, we have the honor of witnessing Florian team up with another family member, Mr Kevin Knapp, of recent Hot Creations fame, who delights us again BOTH WITH HIS FRESHLY HONED PRODUCTION SKILLS AND with his perfect voice in yet another couple club pleasers.

"The Block" is a heavy drum jacker, with a grooving bassline and deep overall vibe topped with a cool synth stab progression where Kevin gets on the mic with a combination of inspired rappin and speech stabs that turn a track into a whole trip experience.

On a similar synth driven tip "Home" gets more of Mr Knapps rap licks and a very phat bubbly analog bass action for great effect.

Florian and Kevin seemed to have struck a balance both as co-producers and as mates that is evident in their music production.

To wrap up the package we brought Defected's established underground hit makers Flashmob from Italy for remix duties, and they truly delivered turning around "The Block" into a raw drum machine chicago inspired acidic track.

A killer release by some of the industries most respected names, can't be missed!

Having closed out 2013 in some style thanks to the inimitable sounds of Hector Couto, Darius Syrossian and Ben Mono, Swiss label Definition: Music picks up where they left off this time around thanks to British duo Origins Sound, who mark their return to the label thanks to the Detroit Cuts EP.
And as you'd imagine from the title, it's abundantly obvious where the influences for this one stem from. Make no mistake, however; this is no flippant, throwaway revival fare, but is instead a series of tracks that celebrate and pay homage to the Motor City's rich musical heritage. The title track illustrates a case in point, with its well-heeled bass timbres and its spiky yet infectious synths leading us down a stuff and stifling path that's laden with sonic nuances and undoubted flair from the first beat to the last.
Middling effort ''Black'' then introduces us to the duo's more introspective side, with its shining, subtle melodies injecting the EP with an almost tangible human warmth. Stuffed full with unsuspecting twists and turns, it showcases the pair's undoubted eclecticism with some panache.
The final twist in the tale is ''Amery'', a track that makes smart use of some lovely samples and a bassline that flirts with peak-time pastures. Trippy but void of novelty and still discerning, it's another track that leads us down a path that's full of hidden crevices and various other nooks and crannies that are worth getting lost in. An extremely auspicious start to the year for both Origins Sound and the Definition crew.

Pure* Records comes up with there next (double-) strike on vinyl: a big portion of pure sun, love & positive emotions - shaped into 4 masterpieces. An E.P. definitely supposed to banish winter depressions and evil spirits.

Alfonso León is a young dj and producer hailing from Santiago, Chile.
His native hometown exposed him to a vibrant and exciting electronic scene early on, and he soon released his very first track on the Loveparade Chile 2005 cd under the pseudonym Skyfonik to enthusiastic reviews.
Gigs and tours came right after, and no wonder he moved on very quickly to join the international roster of music makers and performers under the wing of Luciano and his Cadenza family.

In 2012, Alfonso was welcomed on board Ibiza's sensational "Luciano and Friends" for a weekly residency on the island's hottest venue, Ushuaïa, and then he was invited to play at the swinging Cadenza Vagabundos parties.
Appearances at Sankeys, Bubbles and Ibiza Global Radio followed shortly.
Back in Chile, he took part in the first ever Vagabundos Party held at Mysteryland Festival.
The spring of 2013 saw the young gun embark on a big European tour along with Luciano, Carl Craig and Dj Sneak to name a few.

This ep on Memento Records sees him take his production skills to the next level. "Vinyl Compresòr"'s soulful melodies and tribal percussions are matched by a deliciously funky and luscious bass line, until acid synth stabs open the way to a low-pitched, creepy, almost manic dark vocal that crawls along the groove.

Fabrizio Maurizi's unique taste resonates hugely in his remix: a computerised, robotic low frequency bounce underpins a loopy rework of the dreary vocal, bringing its more rhythmical and human elements to the fore, marrying them to the relentless beat.

Outstanding works, both tracks.

This new piece of Hypnotic Room wax doesn't claim Detroit's situated in the land of the Rising Sun, but it most definitely comes close! Paranoia106, Takashi Watanabe, Yuuki Hori and Seri can surely be labeled as the rising stars of the Japan techno scene, and the bill's presented right with this EP... Spacy, Detroit-techno vibes for those dreamy nights on the dance-floor. If you like your Techno deep, funky and warm, this one should be in your bag.

Palastrevolution, a well programmed and driving synth combined with a deep low end making this tune a mind stimulating composition with a manipulative & revolutionary attitude.

Memento and French producer/dj Okain are by all means a perfect match: the Parisian artist is well known for his refusal to conform to mainstream club trends and for his personal and eclectic take on contemporary house and techno, while the Italian label run by Idriss D caters to the needs of the most sophisticated and well-read electronic music fans. Both stand out as true purveyors of unique styles and great taste, and this release is no exception. "Do It Right"'s syncopated bass line and 70s disco infused keyboard melodies lead on to soulful vocals and old school synth stabs; the rhythm barely lets off, and the groove keeps groovin' and shakin'. "Red Alert"'s bouncy low frequencies and jumpy congas open up the vibe to funky robotic vox loops and to raw synth chords. The remix comes courtesy of Cadenza star Andrea Oliva, who after remixing label head Luciano's smash summer hit "Rise Of Angel" and topping charts everywhere, comes up with a fresh rework of the ep's first track: the percussive feeling and swing are the quintessential dancefloor tool, kicking in right where it works best.

Every Little Piece feat. Caitlin Devlin is the first single lifted from Thomas Schumacher's forthcoming long player Stand Up. The two artists already worked together in the past ("Elektrochemie" with Stephan Bodzin) releasing classic singles like Pleasure Seeker or Mucky Star on Berlin's Get Physical Music. They still share their passion for melancholic electronic dance music.

Thomas was more than happy to be able to get some of his most respected fellow producers & artists to do the remixes: Simian Mobile Disco; Hot Since 82 and Joris Delacroix. Some times it's constraining to delay a record till the time is right, this holds true for the ninth Counter Pulse vinyl. The raw materials have been ready for approximately 12 months boiling.
Manuva EP is the first vinyl release from Swedish born Alexander Johansson (Audio Assault / Compound) in 9 years. The record encloses two radically different tracks based on the exact same sound-palette, while part I is more centralized on muffled bass drums and dubby stabs, part II demonstrates irregular bass rhythm and hectic drum patterns.
We sought Damien Schneider (Apologue / Micropunto Schallplatten) to rework the dubby cuts of Part I to turn it into it's slamming counterpart. As for part II, who else would be better suited to remix it then Alexander's long time musical companion in crime Mattias Fridell (Gynoid / AFFIN).

As Dennis Ihm decided to make the EP "Memory Killer", he had a big influence from the music scene of his city Berlin. The music style of these 4 tracks are a combination of a smooth but also powerful deep house. In the last few months he wrote and sang for his tracks with some help by his friend Janan, who has a beautiful and strong voice, which is fitting very well to the deep sounds.

First southamerican artist on Gold Rcrds is Colombian producer Mooner GL and his demos rocked so hard that Rainer Weichhold couldn't resist at all to sign him for his label. Also remixer Matt Star couldn't resist to accept the remixrequest to add his trademark style, which he did with all his class. So bravo for this 8. Gold Record.

Last May saw the release of Illogical Directions, the third album by Shinedoe, to be released with critical acclaim. Surely a mesmerizing highlight in the artist's career, the album represents several deep and melodic excursions in nowadays deep and tech house, while her own imprint Intacto Records also added a beautiful gem in its discography.

Now the Amsterdam based DJ delivers another momentum for the world famous label, with an impressive line-up of producers reshaping some of her already monumental tracks into something completely new. Yes, the remixes are upon us!

Illogical Directions The Remixes Part 1
Part 1 features an elaborate version of Panomanic, delivered by the one and only Ellen Allien, who lets the original house groove get overtaken by fierce basslines, oldschool rhythms and synth lines. And then there's Fe-Male, one of the most hypnotic housetracks featured on Illogical Directions, now turned into a slick minimal techno groove by Spanish duo Pig & Dan.

Creating subtle vibes at the start of the album, Essence now gets Mathias Kaden's signature when it morphs into a bass driven techhouse crowdpleaser, definitely one to get things going! Finally it's up to Douglas Greed to create a totally other scene for Discourse My New Romance, one of the key tracks of the album, featuring the vocals of The Knife's Karin Dreijer. This time the darkness of the original turns into pleasantly schizophrenic house music bringing just as much freakiness as dance floor glamour.

Kemmi's original starts off with an deep fussy beat and occasional hihats flying around. After a deep base kicks in, it slowly starts building up to a big break with rimshots and screaming sounds building up to an explosion of madness, distorted looping sounds, rings and bells!
For the occasion Pallette went back to his highly reknowed hard hitting typical Pallette style techno in it's most pure form. Double kicks and stabbing vocal samples makes this remix groove! When flipping the record to the B-side the atmosphere gets serious! Amine Jemail's edit takes it to a deeper level. With an ever driving bass his remix is the perfect tool to be played in a basement full of smoke!
Last but not least Thomas Hessler put his very own stamp on this piece of wax. Building up slowly, his deep, pulsating, stripped down techno grooves breath the atmo of Berlin.

It is commonly known how acousmatic sounds (sound without visual reference) can draw an image within a persons mind. A widely used tool in modern cinema and admired by horror film makers.

However, I have to admit this piece of music achieved to create an entire timeline in my mind from the first listen. A narrative sequence of one of the greatest ships ever build and it's long bearded, courageous captain, searching for the nothingness on the great dark and foggy seas.

I am truly fascinated in which depth the conversation between the endless seeming sea and the undoubtable solid character of the captain is audibly represented within this track. A synth of great courage facing mystic sounding punchy waves, telling the ship not to go further. Wisely handled reverberation creates the acoustic dimensions of the sea, which seem to dissolve within the eyes of the captain. A driving synth nicely reassembles the howling engine of the ship and even the chugging chimneys can be recognised. - A tale that could not have been better told.


I'm looking forward to hear this piece being played by the few more known artists within the clubs around the globe, as this would only complete the journey of the captain and it's ship.

Es ist allgemein bekannt das acousmatic Sounds (Geräusche ohne visuelle Referenz) meist den Zuhörer veranlassen eine visuelle Repräsentation selbst zu creirren. Ein weitverbreitetes Tool im modernen Kino und verehrt durch Horror Filmemacher.


Jedoch, muss ich zugeben dass dieses Musikstück es erreichte eine ganze Zeitleiste in meinem Verstand zu kreirren. Eine Erzählung von einem der größten Schiffe, welches je gebaut wurde und dessen lang bärtigen, mutigen Kapitän, auf der Suche nach dem Nichts auf der großen dunklen und nebligen See.


Ich bin wirklich fasziniert, in welcher Tiefe das Gespräch zwischen dem endlosen Meer und dem scheinbar zweifelslosem Charakter des Kapitäns hörbar ist in diesem Track.
Ein Synthesizer von großem Mut stellt sich gegen mystische Wellen und signalisiert dem Schiff nicht weiter zu gehen. Bedacht gehandhabte Reverbs erzeugen die akustischen Dimensionen des Meeres, die in den Augen des Kapitäns aufzulösen scheinen. Ein treibender Synth reassembliert den heulenden Motor des Schiffes und auch die puffenden Schornsteine sind zu hören. - Eine Geschichte, die nicht besser erzählt sein könnte.


Ich freue mich darauf, die wenigen sehr bekannten Namen der Clubkultur dieses Stück spielen zu sehen in den Clubs dieser Welt, da es die reise des Kapitäns nur folgenden würde.

Time for another huge discovery by the dedicated team of underground boogie hunters here at OFF, we now bring you the mysterious Simion, a man who made an impact by recently remixing Ben Pearce's hit "What I Might Do" with great chart success and who sent us an impressive pair of dancefloor agitators which we just couldnt resist!
It all begins with "Lost", and its all about the groove in this one, the percussive heavy drum rhythm builds up hypnotically with a massive funk bass and string stabs that do the work... This is one of those tracks that takes the party to a completely superior level of happiness.

On the flipside, Simion gets his 909 swing pants on and delivers what could only be described as a future house anthem, "Dont U" has a killer bass and diva vocals topped by a house piano lick making it absolutely irresistible.

After his productive 2014 with releases on ViVa Music and Serkal, the owner Alessio Collina is back on Trend with a new weapon.
When you listen Love and fight' you can feel the detroit-techno influences, full of crazy pads and chords, especially during the breakdown and after that.
Perfect for the dancefloor, this track gives a Techno-Detroit touch to this record, that is still pretty house music.

A2. Scan Mode - Triciclo

If you don't know Scan Mode, you should listen something from him because his style is really singular.
He released stuff on labels like Cadenza, Safari Numerique, Esperanza and many more, he came back on Trend after his great remix for Jorge Savoretti played by the master Fred P.
His track Triciclo' has a very nice old school groove and some great 80's chords, but the bassline still fat.

B1. Hector Moralez - G Shit

Hector doesn't need to any presentation.
He worked with artists like Dj Sneak, Chris Carrier, Sidney Charles, Phil Weeks, Flashmob and many more, with releases on very respectable labels in the world like Apollonia, Avotre, Robsoul and many more.
His G shit' is the perfect example of the art of sampling.
Here the voice sample is grooving in the full length of the track and, sometimes, few piano chords appear.


B2. Timmy P - Foulsoul

Timmy Perry aka Timmy P is an english producer who has released very interesting music on labels like Local Talk, Witty tunes and many more.
His track in the B side called Foulsoul' has a lot of 80's influences in a lot of elements like bass, pads, chords and the whole groove.
This one completes the record in the best way!

Terminal M goes from strength to strength with labelowner Monika Kruse being busy in discovering great new releases and talents every few weeks. After roadtesting these 5 tunes from Darlyn Vlys (Area Remote, Rawthentic, Kling Klong) and Ramiro Lopez (Cecille/Suara) it was a must for her to give them a go on Terminal M. The infectious grooves and dark vibes of this franco-spanish cooperatioon are just made for her dj-sets. And definitely yours as well.

EdOne & Bodden's first appearance in OFFSPIN was stellar, their track DO IT seemed to be stuck to the top selling charts reaching number 1 remaining there for months. From then on they became one of the most seeked after production teams around getting signed in huge form by labels like Defected or Suara. Well, we don't like to wait for things to cool down here so while their first hit is still making the rounds on the best dancefloors around, we asked the spanish duo to deliver their first EP on the label and they quickly got excited with the idea and sent us three amazing tracks showing all their bass-driven magic.

"All You Find" explores their soon-to-be trademark sound of garage induced bassline over jacking beats topped with the right dose of strings, synths and vocal stabs, everything wrapped in a whirlwind of emotional club frenzy. 
"Come To Me" takes a darker approach while still relying on a groovy house beat using wobble synth bass and more delicious vocal and string work, a more laidback groover still for those intense moments of the night.

BTE is running a vinyl label with Haiku for its first release. Original tracks represent two different concepts of techno minded for big sound systems, with small synthology or sequencing variations in order to get full or empty spaces and rhythms.

A track like the heat dancing on the horizon in the heart of Africa. "Puttin 'OnThe Green Hat" draws

"Puttin' on the Green Hat" stands for something much more than mere clothing
accessories. The green hat is a part of a creative technique from Edward de Bono,
known as the "Thinking Hat" or also "6 Thinking Hats". Every hat has a different
color and has a different meaning:
The red hat: emotional thinking
The black hat: critical thinking
The yellow hat: optimistic thinking
The white hat: analytical thinking
The blue hat: ordered, moderated thinking
The green hat: creative thinking
The aim is the solution of a task from every point of view and thereby reaching the best possible
result. The green hat as a symbol of creativity and ideas is mirrored in the remix-concept. For the
first three, the venerable master of electronic dance music has consciously brought together artists
with different styles and influences.
The beginning is brought to you by his Italian associate Nihil Young who has released a number of
EP's and albums on his label Frequenza Records among which are "Rave - O - Lution" with Alex
D'elia. In late summer the release of Thomas Lizzara's (Ostfunk Rec. Berlin) version along with Ingo
Boss (Cocoon Recordings). Added to that there is in September the POTGH remix contest, whereby
2 further versions will complete the 6-piece collection. The selected mixes will serve as a starter
release on Dr. Motte's label PRAXXIZ, as well as perform at the next label event.

This Session Deluxe is made by our french friends Jules & Moss. These very sympathetic guys are one of the French artists revelations of 2011. Their tracks, released on great labels like Traum, Dirtybird, Supdub, Musik Gewinnt Freunde, Brise Records, What! What!, Monique Musique, Fantastic Friends. Moss possesses a funded, classical piano education and composing skills, first approved in Alternative and New Wave. On the other hand, Jules grew up with Rock and Jazz, started drums at the age of 5 and improved himself by playing drums and percussion in several bands. Together they develop several "Live Act" with electronic interfaces & electronic drums, playing them own productions, with wishes to compose with sound recordings by themselves or acoustic instruments.
Now they present four great, deep and catchy tech house tracks. All tracks are well produced and having a big groove. Jules & Moss are using a lot of different elements, some more housy, then a bit minimal. That completes a great package with four original dance floor tunes.
The remix is made by Berlin`s Jens Bond. Jens is well known from his releases on Highgrade, Sender and many more famous labels. His remix is a real bomb. A bit more straight on than the original. Vocal snippets and classical house elements are giving that tack a very special mood. Great Job by Jens!

Maxime Dangles makes his long awaited return to Break New Soil with a strong four track package full of Techno madness. With the "Mentor EP" the French man focuses on a raw and untamed approach, away from cheap sensationalism and effect overdosage.Maxime's title track "Mentor" represents all of the above in an impressionable way. This peak time weapon aims for maximum damage. A throbbing synth pattern morphs it's way throughout this beast of a track and is backed by a thumping groove programming. "Junehaha" is deep, weird and full of energy! Maxime stirs abstract sounds and dark atmospheric layers into one explosive mix."Grillon D'Amour" is drenched in droning, rolling bass and super-snappy beats, moodily stomping it's way through trippy synth lines and mind-bending FX. You'll find some low end funk in there as well!Dangles closes out the EP with the swirling "Kalke" track. The rhythm is typically taut of a Maxime Dangles tech stomper, with frenzied synths anchored by swathes of infinitely undulating bass and carefully crafted percussive patterns. Filtered breakdowns heighten the tension, momentarily reigning back the power of this meaty track before it thunders back into life.

Tube & Berger's success has been ubiquitous in recent years with hits such as 'Imprints Of Pleasure' and 'Come On Now (Set It Off)' dominating the Beatport charts in spectacular fashion. Collaborating with Kittball favourite Milan Euringer, 'Lovebreak' was instrumental in the German duo's explosive popularity and was one of their 4 Beatport top 10 hits of 2012. The track itself, with its sublime production, reached No.1 on Beatport's Overall Chart - an unfaltering Beatport dominance fans are increasingly becoming accustomed to. Now a year and a half after its release the track has been passed on to a handful of Kittball favourites to shape it into their own.

First up, BETOKO & SamH3 kick off the package by using the original's pulsating synths before a meaty bassline chugs along with emotive vocals resounding poignantly on top. In.deed then presents the second offering in the form of an upbeat number which comes complete with a playful hook and cheerful vibes geared for the summer's sunshine. Next is Italian artist Simone Vitullo, who lays down a moody low-end groove broken up by piano chord breakdowns creating a peak time dancefloor anthem. Lastly, Wild Culture employ an atypical club sound by flipping the original on its head using whirring atmospherics and sporadic synth growls to generate a deeper and duskier cut altogether.

Einfach hat er es uns noch nie gemacht. Der zurückhaltende sympathische türkische Produzent mit dem
unaussprechlichen Namen, hat noch nie Musik für den hippen All-Together-Happiness-Floor gemacht. Der Mann kommt
vom Jazz und Blues. Bei Tolga Baklacioglu bedeutet elektronische Musik produzieren, die Tiefen von House
auszutesten. Manchmal vertrackt, mal verspielt, mal psychedelisch, aber stets deep. Seine Tracks haben nicht selten
eine Länge von elf, zwölf Minuten. Musik braucht Zeit. Prime-Time-Musik klingt anders. Und genau deswegen mögen wir
ihn. Und so veröffentlicht Tolga mit "Feeling Now and Then" seine mittlerweile vierte EP auf "Lebensfreude". Musik, die
bis nach Buenos Aires Gehör fand, wo die argentinische Produzentin und DJ Violett einen funktional-zauberhaften Remix
beisteuerte. Doch eines wissen wir. Dieses Mal wird es wieder nicht einfach sein. Zum Glück.

Die langjährige freundschaftliche Zusammenarbeit von Ware und Lebensfreude zeigt erneut Früchte. Nach seinem Remix für Gunne und der Teilnahme am deutsch-argentinischen - Miti & Halp' Projekt nun wieder eine vollständige EP von Mathias Schaffhäuser auf Lebensfreude. Wir sind entzückt! Und nachdem das Musik Krause Quartett von Schleck&Stecker schon für die letzte Pentatones-EP einen Remix beisteuerte, haben sich diesmal die Labelmacher persönlich an die Regler gesetzt. Das Krause Duo gewohnt ungewohnt. So haben wir das gerne. Und Ezeqiuel Esley, mit Sweet'N'Candy ebenfalls am - Miti & Halp' Projekt beteiligt und jüngst mit eigener EP auf Lebensfreude, schlägt den Bogen zurück nach Argentinien. Auch dies macht uns Freude und macht aus Utopien erfreuliche Realitäten...

The long-term friendly cooperation of WARE and LEBENSFREUDE shows fruit again. After his remix for Gunne and participation in the German-Argentine "Miti & Halp" project once again a full EP of Mathias. We are delighted! And so after the quartet of MUSIK KRAUSE Schleck&Stecker already for the last Pentatones contributed a remix EP, have this time set the label owner personally to the regulator. The Krause Duo usual unusual. So we have the love. And Ezeqiuel Esley with Sweet'N'Candy also at "Miti & Halp" project involved, and more recently on its own LEBENSFREUDE EP, suggests the bow back to Argentina. This also makes us happy and makes positive utopias realities ...

Gynoid reprises its best tracks of the last period for the fifth time,
hence the name 'Reprise 5'.

The A1 was never a big surprise. Mattias Fridell's 'Consumed for Profit'
was one of the tracks of the year, and surely Fridell's personal best
track, and was played by anyone who at least plays a bit of techno in
their sets. The usual Fridell quality of standard and a tight synth line!

A2 sees French artist Electric Rescue's 'Quarries' in the A. Mochi
remix. A peak-time banger, slapping the synth stabs right into your
face. This one always gets the floor jumping.

The B-side kicks off with label-head Advance Human's 'Pure', stripping
things down to some essential moody but slamming techno, right up there
amongst his best productions.

B2 has +platform's 'Mosses' closing things off, and as we came to know
and love from +platform, it's out there, dubby and dreamy techno, born
for those deeper 'Berghainesque' floors.

Left Wing Recordings reach a pivotal tenth release with a 4 track vinyl only EP by label boss Michael McLardy. Following a short break from releasing digital EPs Left Wing takes the plunge into vinyl only territory whilst celebrating becoming 10 releases strong. Staying true to the labels back catalogue the EP is deep, intricate and intelligent offering diversity across both sides of the record.
