The light is at the end of the tunnel. The light is shining bright because of love. The love is the answer to the darkness + the remedy for the experience which might bring unclearness and letting drown in the metaphorical swamp which every single human has felt during the journey they are on. The EP by the Switzerland based mastermind Dan Piu is dedicated to the love and to the love only. The tracks that were produced from the artist’s creative inflow are from the year 1995 to our present days and are telling the story of hope and compassion. Starting from A side we have a demonstrative rollercoaster which is ‘Selfish War Machine’ gracing before the ‘Made in Japan’ which is inspired by the early arcade machines and the ethos they were bringing with them. Side B starts with seductive house number straight up from the year 1995, followed by Robotic tool ‘Robota’ and finishing off on the perfect and soul caressing track going by the name ‘Equinox of Ceres’. This precise body of work which has found its home with Sakskøbing is pure and direct message of love, in a way when things are seem bleak the light can be sparked again. Joseph Capriati is to release a selection of remixes of his epic 2020 album Metamorfosi. From the dreamy opener “You’re The Reason” featuring Mary Ann Alexander’s velvety tones, to the nostalgic glow of lead single “Where Are You Tonight” (feat. Dishaan & Mallika), the album unfolds like a love letter to house music’s emotional core. Highlights include the syrupy r&b/house hybrid “Afterlife” (feat. Dappest), the golden-hour deep house shimmer of “Call Me Back” (feat. Sahirah), and the soul-drenched “What Was It” featuring Jamal Bucanon. Closing track “Stay” wraps it all with soft-focus chords and a bumpy, irresistible groove.

Clone Classic Cuts continues their re-issues series for one of the most influential techno acts ever... Drexciya. The second selection of tracks including favorites such as ''Bang-Bang'', ''Positron Island'', ''Anti Vapour Waves'' and ''Journey Home'' complimented some lesser or unknown tracks. Raw, uncompromising music made with soul and creativity always has been the trademark of Drexciya (and also from their original label Underground Resistance) and this album is another showcase of their talents.

Our second installment is going to be a classic 4-track various artist release. Carefully curated and selected pieces of music, produced by close friends, this release fulfills the label's mission of providing a platform for our loved ones. This issue features some incredible artists and friends united on wax.
The Berlin and Munich-based duo Medus & Niko S. offer a hybrid track with nostalgic elements of techno, breaks, and progressive house, capable of busting any dancefloor. Longtime Munich resident DJ and producer Dancing Lessons contributes a hypnotic tech-house infused tune with elements of breakbeat and electro, taking the listener on a personal journey through time and space. Munich's young and upcoming producer Johnmon and label owner of Powerloader Records chips in a proper 90s bomb with driving drums, dark, and quirky synths. An all-round tool suited for any dance floor situation. Finally, Vienna-based Doesntmatter polishes off the VA with an expertly crafted electro track. On the ‘Sour’ side, Kick It Then Drop It, originally recorded in 1999 is both a hymn of Planet ‘E’ and a full-power kicker that will leave you in the right place to party. Hardcore, old-school breakbeat meets funky acid lines for a high rave energy combo that promises some screwface on any dancefloor. Empire State Beat (Phat Beat Mix) is the final destination of this EP. Made in 2004, chock-full of energy, this nostalgic composition takes off as a night-time, bassline driver that will keep the floor going at full power. Recognized as one of the most prolific emerging producers of Latin American electronic music, Entrañas presents his second album Los Cueros Al Sol, a project that redefines his sound through a deeper connection with tradition, instrumentation, and his personal narrative. This album represents his most organic work to date, incorporating recorded instruments and showcasing Entrañas himself on guitar throughout several tracks, along with drums and guitars recorded by guest musicians.

The album offers an exploration of local rhythms, reimagined through his unique production style, characterized by carefully crafted sound design and rhythms full of distortion and energy that dissolve between textures and atmospheres. Alongside these traditions and sounds, aggressive and enveloping basses and synths emerge, accentuating the hybrid nature of his work.

True to its title, Los Cueros Al Sol, an expression that evokes the idea of laying bare the truth, of revealing oneself raw and without artifice, the project draws on everyday life in Quito, the hometown of Entrañas, with song titles reminiscent of traditional street foods. This intimate resource anchors the music in the land and memory, interweaving its local identity in every detail.

MOb return this November with their second album on Veego Records, continuing the adventurous journey they began with their 2023 debut MOb 1. Hailed by the press as one of the boldest and freshest statements in the Greek scene, their first record moved seamlessly between jazz, punk, and electronic forms, creating a sound often described as “an entire orchestra played by just three musicians.”

On their new release, Marios Valinakis (saxophone, effects, synthesizers), Alexandros Delis (bass, double bass), and Panagiotis Kostopoulos (drums) construct an even more intricate and ambitious sonic universe. The compositions range from the explosive energy of “Tipping Point” and the dark atmospheres of “Utu and Sin”, to the radical reimagining of Wayne Shorter’s “Fall” and the polyphonic outburst of “The Listener”, featuring the Kos Choir.

Guest appearances further expand the palette: Phillip “Felipe MC” Manev lends his voice to “Tipping Point” and “Encounters”, while Angelos Polychronou enriches “Encounters” and “The Listener” with his percussions.

The album was produced and recorded by MOb themselves, with Bruno Ellingham handling mixing and mastering for most tracks, while “Utu and Sin” was mixed by Malcolm Catto at the Quatermass Sound Lab. The cover artwork is designed by Apostolos Mitrelis, and the back cover features a photograph by Maciej Moskwa.

If MOb 1 revealed a band capable of fusing free improvisation with rhythm-driven “bangers” that reached audiences beyond Greece, the new album confirms their evolution: more intense, more diverse, and more imaginative. With one foot rooted in tradition and the other firmly in the present, MOb deliver a work that breaks boundaries and builds bridges across genres and audiences, solidifying their reputation as one of the most exciting groups in today’s Greek music scene.

On Now Claims My Timid Heart, Harris and Hedrick continue the experiment started on Swann and Odette, crafting closed systems that promote a hushed correspondence between their sonic (Basic Channel, drone metal) and literary influences (Kafka, Sebald, Pynchon).

On this album (their first record since 2017 as well as their first release on NYC’s Quiet Time Tapes), Harris and Hedrick eliminated much of music’s normal dependence on physical space, instead creating hermetically sealed sonic ‘rooms’ where the songs can live by sending samples and loops through convolution reverb. Each of the eight tracks on Timid Heart is fundamentally, thus, a field recording from an inaccessible world.
