Two of Australia’s own legends Dr Packer & Yogi deliver an instant classic with ‘Heavy Vibes’. Reworking the disco track by the Montana Sextet aka Vince Montana Jr. who was primarily known for founding Salsoul Orchestra and his work with the MFSB and their track ‘Love Is The Message’, heard throughout ‘Heavy Vibes’.
David Penn & KPD join legend Kurtis Mantronik for a 2025 update of Kurtis’ 2011 release ‘Get Down’, sampling Brick’s 1977 disco record ‘Ain’t Gonna Hurt Nobody’.

As we celebrate 30 years of Ten Lovers Music our first offering of the year is a Various Artist selection called Frisson EP Part 1. Frisson is a medical term for the response you get from listening to music, often referred to as goosebumps or a skin orgasm which is caused by the dopamine released in the brain’s reward centres.
Kicking off the A side we have Sound Signals featuring flautist Han Litz, a superb opener. Following on are Future Jazz Ensemble and Don’t Be Afraid, another track from them oozing quality. Onto side AA and Mike Perras is back with another live track featuring keys, drums, bass and a battling flute and sax on Sweet One. Rounding off side AA is Stefano De Santis with Simple Things, an aptly named track for this music that gives us Frisson.

Arash & quasar is one of the weirdest projects we've ever received & we like that. They recently appeared on make italo great again & tatalo. This EP which is actually a mini album & it will be their last under this name and we can say that it's a masterstroke ! Italo, synth pop & folk music all with Tatar sauce ! Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes were one of the most popular groups on Gamble & Huff's Philadelphia International label, clocking up a number of hits in the mid 70's.This release featuring two of their recordings, typify the cream of Philadelphia International and Sigma Sound studios dominance of the mid 1970s dance-floor at the absolute height of their creativity and power. "Bad Luck" spent an unprecedented 11 weeks on the No.1 slot on Billboard's U.S. Dance chart in 1975 and has since become one of the biggest dance-floor staples ever recorded.
On the flip we have the original full version of the classic "Don't Leave Me This Way".Both songs are mixed to perfection by Tom Moulton and both are state-of-the-art lessons in what exhilarating Dance Music is all about.

Original copies of this promo-only cut will set you back £400+ and it doesn’t take a genius to work out why. Produced by Jesse Boyce and Moses Dillard and mixed by Rafael Charres the man behind the mixing desk for classics such as Rare Pleasure - Superfine Feeling and Keith Barrow - Turn Me Up, it’s a dream team cohort that created this Paradise Garage classic.
Backed with equally enthralling, Boyce and Dillard produced, Francois K mixed ‘Feed The Flame’, also loved by the Garage dance floor.
