20 Years of BM brings together 20 exclusive tracks by artists who have played an essential role in the label’s journey, alongside close friends and longtime companions of the BM universe. Carefully curated across five heavyweight vinyl records, the compilation reflects the musical identity that has defined Bondage-Music since day one: deep, soulful, dub-infused, and emotionally driven house music designed for both intimate listening and late-night dancefloors.
The anniversary box features exclusive contributions from artists such as Roger Gerressen, Sascha Dive, Mihai Popoviciu, Steve Bug, NTFO, Markus Homm, Tuccillo, Politics Of Dancing, Rhadow, Andre Kronert, and many more — representing different generations and shades of the Bondage-Music sound.
Pressed on heavyweight 180g vinyl, each record is housed in an individual printed sleeve and presented inside a specially designed colored collector’s box with refined spot lacquer finish. The visual identity of the anniversary edition was created by Pete Bombart — BM’s longtime Head of Artwork, close friend, and an integral part of the label since its early days. A cult classic reborn for a new generation.

Originally released in 2002 on the short‑lived US imprint Square Room Records, the In Stereo EP by Aruba (Darran Nugent) has long been a prized gem for vinyl collectors of quality underground house and techno.

Now, two decades later, Darran brings In Stereo back to life on his new Sleight of Hand label, with ‘Soundz From My Stereo’ completely re‑recorded and sounding hotter than ever. This special edition also features a brand‑new Re‑edit plus a standout remix from UK DJ and producer Man Power (Geoffrey Kirkwood), who delivers a bold, imaginative re‑interpretation that elevates the release into something truly special.

Also returning is ‘Body Groove’, freshly reimagined for today’s floors. The original’s slap‑bass funk remains gloriously intact, now paired with a more modern, refined house sensibility that gives the track a whole new swagger.

Mihai Popoviciu, one of the most esteemed names in the deep house and minimal scene, is set to unveil his anticipated new album, ‘Puzzle Box’, on Bondage Music. As one of the label’s core artists, Popoviciu returns for his second full-length album release on the imprint following his successful 2016 album, ‘Home’ - available on vinyl from 15th November 2024.

With a career spanning over a decade and with releases on numerous influential labels such as 8Bit to Berg Audio, Popoviciu has firmly established himself as a go-to within the minimal-leaning realms of house music. Known for intricate soundscapes and deep, hypnotic grooves, his work continues to captivate audiences globally. On ‘Puzzle Box’, he delves deeper into his signature stripped-back yet soulful aesthetic, offering a diverse collection of tracks that traverse through various sonic textures.

Consisting of thirteen tracks in total, ‘Puzzle Box’ showcases the Romanian’s sound to its fullest. Bella Boo lands on Aus Music with a mix of party-starting and heart-racing house jams

Swedish artist KURT. brings her characterful style to the title cut

Bella Boo has lit up the house world since breaking through in 2018. She has become a Studio Barnhus mainstay with a sound that is both emotional and energetic in the way it contrasts light and dark. It's built on solid grooves with fresh sound designs and has taken her to dj everywhere from Panorama Bar to Printworks. Her debut LP, as well as follow-up EPs, have seen her nominated for several Swedish Grammys and seen her profile grow around the world. KURT. is a rising star from Stockholm with an electric sound that blends club, r&b, pop and soul. It's high on attitude and laced with her own provocative vocals. She guests on opener 'Shake Down', which is a chunky, bass-first rhythm packed with character: hints of jungle breaks, heat-damaged synths and blasts of gloopy bass all bring the fun before KURT.'s vocal motifs - which are variously sultry, whispered and visceral - inject even more heat. The Regrette Rien Mix takes on a late-night feel with sustained chords and a silky smooth vocal from KURT. that turns you inwards. Bella Boo then goes solo for the super vibey 'Atlas', a deep, cruising house cut with catchy percussion and lush, layered bells. The golden chords and shimmering pads are immersive and expansive as the bass powered on. Horvath Tamas alias Brutkho is actually one of the artists we feel since the first listen of his music. Gabriella and Coleman are two massive deep-techno stompers focused on the atmosphere, the texture, the immersion which will play with your senses from the beginning to the end and fool your previous certainties without any doubt.Tel-Aviv based producers Deep'a & Biri who recently joined Derrick May's Transmat agency and who deliver some of the finest dub techno cuts of today catched the original track delicious pianos and dropped them into their sumptuous cinetic industrial groove.French producer Jan Hendez drives it into a pure rhythmic and organic piece of music unbound by usual genre limits. Menacing, very cold yet still deep and sexy remix that reminds both his first releases and his newer strictly atmospheric and mental approach.That's exactly the point with this record. It's a meeting of spontaneous artists who never stop their musical research, who don't mind about fleeting trends and who push boundaries further on every single track they do.

We here at Local Talk have been big fans of Cee's deeply organic and uplifting House productions for a good while, so we're mighty happy to present this new release.

The A side starts up with a massive organ house workout that has been played on repeat at Mad Mats residency at the Soulmates club in Stockholm over the last 6 months or so. A peak time jam!
To add more fire we asked Emmaculate to throw down a remix for us, and it doesn't hold back. Deep, bumpy and utterly funky. Again...those house organs are fully at work!

On the B side Cee goes to church with deep but slight jackin' 4/4s over some heavy gospel preaching.
To enhance the gospel experience, our friend from Amsterdam, Marcel Vogel makes a long overdue guest visit on Local Talk and delivers a big gospel intro that moves into a jazzy and thumpin' house affair.

DCTL Members is a unit formed by Masafumi Onishi, aka TELLY, the label owner of Troop Music Works, and DJ DUCT, who is renowned for his turntable skills that span a wide range of genres, from Hip Hop and Rare Groove Funk to Detroit Techno and Deep House. For this upcoming EP, they feature Shu Suzuki, a multi-instrumentalist who lends his versatile talents to the project.
This time, by blending musical instruments with the raw warmth of analogue gear and rough, sampler-and-rhythm-machine-driven sequences, the sound has evolved into something even more energetic and full of DIY spirit.

The title track “Need To Pivot” starts off with an ode to Chicago House in form of a funky, swinging, banger laced over the top with clever spoken words from a voice any dance floor will surely recognize!

The flip side drops the vibe back to what we come to love from Eddie! Deep driving baselines and synth based goodness for both B Side cuts on “Close To You” and “Listen To Me”.

Very impressively Eden Burns lands at „Big Beat Manifesto Vol. XII“. This is two BBM releases per year, spread across the past 6 years. Besides casually slipping in an Album „Eden Burns And the Make Believers“ (2025) and various other side projects. The prophet of the Big Beat is restless in the most positive way one can think off. We are all blessed to have him in our lives. What would Music World be without him? We do not want to know. More good news: he’s coming to tour Europe to promote this record. Summer in the city, on the beach, in the countryside on a dance floor near you.

We have a truly hero of classic house music, for the 10th FRL Classic Edition instalment. Mr. Kerri Chandler returns with this classic from 1994. All four tracks feature the trademark Chandler bassline, jazzed-out trippy chords, and chopped up vocals. Pure deepness musicality with an oldschool twist.

Fresh Meat Records is proud to present the vinyl re-release of From Chicago With Love, a record originally produced and released by Mazi Namvar (aka Audio Soul Project) in 2004. Though it may have flown under the radar upon its initial release, the record has recently gained a cult following, with prices on the secondhand market steadily climbing. A single copy now fetches as much as $170, with a recent test pressing selling for $100. Recognizing the demand, Fresh Meat Records has gone to work offering a beautiful repress of the record—one that truly does justice to the original while adding something special for long-time fans and newcomers alike.

From Chicago With Love Reprise is a celebration of a classic with a new dimension. The record includes a fresh fourth track, “Murmurs Low,” which features the saxophonist Jimmy Tripp and a spoken word performance by Mazi. Together, they add a soulful and atmospheric touch to the original, expanding the sonic palette while retaining the deep, intimate energy of the original release.

Bosconi Records is thrilled to announce a distinctive vinyl release that harks back to berlin 2000’s good old days
The featured track of this release unveils Console’s , known and active as Acid Pauli, reinterpretation of a track that gained fabio’s attention during his stay in Berlin in 2000. Fabio Della Torre, the owner and A&R of Bosconi Records, stumbled upon this hidden gem during his year in Berlin as many djs in the city were spinning it. Finally his quest to uncover the origins of this track led him to a CD release on the label of Angelika Köhlermann. The track in question is Console’s reimagining of “Let’s Rock Baby” a composition by the independent musician and video artist Anne Laplantine, who adopted the Japanese-sounding alias Michiko Kusaki. This version was originally released alongside a series of remixes by artists such as Dmx krew, Felix Kubin, and Adult, all featured on Angelika Köhlermann’s label.

Today, Bosconi Records is thrilled to bring this iconic track to light again on vinyl, accompanied by fresh interpretations. It’s important to note that these reinterpretations breathe life into Console’s work, not Laplantine’s original track, making Console’s version the centerpiece of this release. We have a banger version from German electro luminary The Exaltics which his typilcal electro techno trademark sound. The Exaltics had just released his new album on Clone and has been featured by Helena hauff in her Fabric Mix compilation. Italian producers Voodoos & Taboos, known for their homonymous label and with an recent “banger” on Bordello a Parigi with an electro playful version. The vibrant Queen of Coins have breathed new life into Console’s track, delivering a fresh new-beat acid ebm burner, giving the track a new and personal perspective.

This project mirrors Bosconi Records’ commitment to exploring diverse dimensions of electronic music and featuring compelling compositions. The release looks to resonate with DJs and electronic music enthusiasts, offering a contemporary perspective on a timeless track.

DesFounded in 2020 by Alina and Atree, Smoove Ocean presents Daydream Pop Kids — a four-track vinyl release inspired by nostalgic ’90s childhood memories, where dreamy emotional moments unfold into warm, timeless sounds.

House and techno mainstay Steve Bug returns to Nu Groove with four-track EP ‘Let’s Work’, showcasing the sound of a true electronic pioneer on vinyl. Up first is title track ‘Let’s Work’, a bouncy club record with a cool, metropolitan feel. What follows are ‘Mr Wonders’ and ‘Not The First Time’, two tracks that highlight Steve Bug’s rhythmic expertise and mastery of tension. Closing out this vinyl collection of fresh house music is a collaboration with Los Angeles native and dance culture expert Juliet Mendoza; ‘Whispers In The Dark’ features Juliet’s magnetic spoken word over Steve’s brooding electronic groove.

The Teflon Dons' Rudiments EP, released in 1996 on Worldship Music and now reissued on FRL Classic edition, is one of those records that perfectly embodies the most authentic spirit of 90s underground deep house. From the very first bars, Rudiments EP stands out for its raw but deeply soulful sound, built on filtered samples, “dirty” drum machines (typically SP-1200) and an aesthetic that mixes Chicago and Detroit.

After years in the shadows, THE GOAT returns. LA CHEVRE is back with CHE007 - three powerful edits by MOOGLY, already making serious noise in clubs and underground after-hours, supported by key figures such as Chez Damier, Dawidu, and many more.

Celebrating 30 years of the legendary label, we pick legendary bombs and unreleased gems from Black Vinyl Records rich catalogue. From its inception back in 1996 Black Vinyl Records has always been a label for the serious DJs. Tony Humphries, Paul Trouble Anderson, Ricky Morrison, Justin Berkman, David Morales, Bobby & Steve and most serious Underground DJ’s supported the original vinyl release of Kerri Chandler’s early masterpiece ‘My Old Friend Alan’, dedicated to label founder Alan Russell, and it gained many more supporters following its recent digital re-Master. The David Harness remix of Tedd Patterson’s ‘Roots’ appears on vinyl for the first time here and was featured in no less than 25 Traxsource DJ charts after it’s digital release in 2022, including luminaries such as DJ Pope, Quentin Harris, Kevin Yost, Charles Dockins, and many more. The vocal mix of ‘Fever Tension’ by Fresh & Low has always been a sought after gem, only ever appearing on a ‘Re:Cuts’ release in early noughties, and ‘Rising Into Joy’ by Arnold Jarvis was championed by Danny Rampling, Paul Trouble Anderson, Andy Ward, Deli G and all the 'heads' and is the definition of a Soulful House Classic.

EFUNK Volume V is the fifth installation of the annual VA compilation featuring music from a curated collection of artists set to perform at Soul Clap’s House Of EFUNK touring party series. This release date on wax and digital is right in time for the official Movement Festival afterparty @ TV Lounge in Detroit that spans 2 days with 3 areas of sound. This year’s compilation features music from Soul Clap alongside long time friend and Baltimore favorite Baronhawk Poitier who present “Set The Scene”, a futuristic earthshaking groove with Baronhawk’s spoken vocals backed by Charles Levine’s vocoder and a Moog topline played by Baronhawk that won’t quit. Hercules & Love Affair makes a debut on the label with “Stay Ready” a chugging tracky / acid infused banger which should absolutely induce a dancefloor sweat. Kai Alce shares a discofied sample-licious crowd pleaser called “Boogie” with the help of additional keys by Byron Blaylock better known as Byron The Aquarius. Detroit’s new school starchild JMT joins with the hard hitting peaktime soul powered “Black Magic Touch” and last but certainly not least, Lauren Flax adds an edge of danger while calling for “Revolution” featuring vocals from Liz Wight. These tracks are sounding warm and round thanks to the mastering expertise of Caserta and have been dancefloor approved by Soul Clap!

Budabeats Records is kicking off the summer season with a strictly limited edition EP that blends disco and soulful house vibes. Three razor sharp edits and remixes tailored and fine tuned for the dancefloor by Hungarian producers Mr. Fiel, Grabosky and Chillum Trio.

Ouragan’s first release, Clair Obscur, is an invitation to take time, to reflect, to wander. It was conceived as a shared story between distant landscapes: dreamlike, moving yet contemplative. A thread between closed eyes, through imaginary worlds that appear here – and elsewhere fade.

Despite their distinct identities, the four tracks share a sense of mystery. A warm tension characteristic of dub techno, no matter its form. Side A offers an introspective, dancefloor-driven vision of the genre; the flip side turns more meditative – emotional, melancholic, and beautifully touching.

Dunster’s remaster serves the synth work well, keeping the melodic lines clear and the low end present without overcrowding the mix. Zentz built something durable here, and the vinyl pressing confirms it.

Sound Whore by DJ Mes follows, and Mes doesn’t waste any time. The wah-wah guitar arrives early, the trumpet not far behind, and then the Latin percussion and vocal samples start stacking up. It’s a lot, but Mes holds it together with a groove that keeps pulling everything back toward center. You don’t resist it. You just follow.

The B-side belongs to the most requested track in the label’s catalog, and it’s easy to understand why. Mike Huckaby’s remix of Cesar Ramirez’s Congo Fury anchors itself to a conga line and then opens outward, synth lines drifting across the rhythm like smoke. Huckaby had a particular gift for this, the ability to make a moment feel like it could last forever without ever losing tension. Ramirez’s own keyboard solo survives toward the end, a subtle crescendo that feels earned. Dunster captures the whole thing with care.

It’s Time to Jack by Da Outlawz closes the record. 909 drums, cracking snares, chopped vocal fragments. Barebones Chicago house, designed for a sound system that can take the weight. Nothing complicated about it, and that’s the point.

Parisian label Chuwanaga announces the upcoming release of Inner Circle Vol. 1, the first installment in a series of house music releases bringing together artists from the label’s close circle. Available on limited 12" vinyl (300 copies) and digital.

The VA opens with “We All Got To Feel” by Argentine producer J. Koen (Nervous Records / Nite Grooves), a track that encapsulates the essence of deep house. Classy, colorful stabs, refined melodies, and a warm, funky bassline come together in a club-ready cut. It's exactly what you expect when you need a track that delivers — just drop it.

It is followed by “Sunny California” from French producer Kaffe Crème (Floors Records), an ode to the sun — both a celebration and a form of incantation recalling the spiritual energy of Ron Trent and Joe Claussell. The track builds toward a break filled with deep, jazz-inflected harmonies before returning with an electrifying melody carried by layered percussion, leading to an emotional climax.

On the flip side, “It’s A Feeling (House Music)” by the French duo Milk & Honey (Chuwanaga) draws clear inspiration from the Chicago lineage, in the vein of Boo Williams. A looping bassline, deep silky chords, and steady drums create a hypnotic, flowing texture with a myriad of ear candy. It's a feeling, it's a vibe!

The record closes with “The Gatekeeper” by French producers Saint-James (Chuwanaga) & KX9000 (Pont-Neuf Records), a track influenced by the London boogie sound and its broken beat scene. Fans of Dego and Kaidi Tatham will recognize its syncopated grooves and percussive depth, bridging house and broken beat aesthetics.

House favourites Kai Alce, JKriv, Sean McCabe and Medlar debut on Universo Positivo with their masterful reworks from Universo Positivo’s catalog. After two years of agenda-setting sounds, the label is set to drop this classy remix EP, and in that time, founder Joseph Salvador has established the label with a mix of his own music and fresh grooves from carefully A&R’d pioneers and new school names. He has been doing much the same since the 90s with various projects from his cult TINK Records and the Tomorrow Is Now Kid! nights in Amsterdam, in collaborative production outfits like Black Tulip & Wendell Morrison, and releasing records by DJ Steaw, Malin Genie, Fabio Monesi and more. This latest release brings together some of the most respected names in the scene for four standout reworks.

First up, Atlanta-based NDATL label head Kai Alce, who has long been one of deep house's most influential architects. He flips 'Sonido Latino' into a smooth groove with jazzy, Roy Ayers-style melodies that bring a soft-focus glow and late-night intimacy. Then comes Bristol-based don Sean McCabe, a master of vintage synths with a 20-year back catalogue on seminal labels like Local Talk, Strictly Rhythm and Z Records. His take on 'Ipanema Jazz' maintains the original's samba shuffle but reframes it in a deep house groove with extra expressive jazz keys, dainty chords and playful trumpet motifs.

Brooklyn-based groove architect and Razor-N-Tape co-founder JKriv brings his many years of experience as a guitarist, producer and songwriter to his take on 'Caparica Sunset'. It's a deep, driving sound that's playful and romantic with flirtatious horns and soft acid, dusty breakbeats and luscious grooves for loved-up good time sessions. Last but never least, is Medlar, the South London underground maverick with a wide-ranging sound and album credits on the likes of the hallowed Delusions Of Grandeur. He remixes 'U R The Revolution' into a warm, euphoric rush of throwback house that's warm, melodic and sure to get the floor going right off.

Pep Jam are back with a new series launching Mint Condition Vol. 1—analogue textures, global flavours, and dancefloor weapons. Built for timeless house music with a bit of dirt under the nails.

The series will feature artists from all over the world bring their own flavour, character, and the odd curveball.

With festival season in the air, Vince Watson lets loose on his big summer track for 2026. Piano-heavy ‘The Awakening’ hits right on the money - full-on hands in the air piano and some E-Dancer-style bass give this track the ‘Summer Anthem’ vibes. This is a hit record! It’s backed up with a stripped-back version, letting go of the big orchestral strings to make way for more heat from that E-Dancer baseline. On the flip side, there is a faster BPM edit of ‘Flashback’ from his 2023 album ‘Another Moment In Time’, not only bringing a more friendly club tempo, but also extra heat and intensity in the build-ups.
