House Vinyl New Releases - News

Entrepôt Records is thrilled to welcome back the label boss UC Beatz this time alongside “the eternal raw freak” Wldbtch for a joint EP. The idea to make a record together came 10 years ago but they eventually found the time to lock themselves up together in a studio during 2020 lockdown. After a couple of months of hard work they come with an atypical collection of 4 tracks using a range of influences and material including french spoken words, turkish vocals, dark acid berghain-ish basses, country guitars, South American flutes, trippy chords and more kinda rarities that you woudn't necessarily expect on a house record. We are super happy to release this collaboration effort today as we think that the result is mind blowing! Not only is this record a beautiful journey by its colours and sounds but every track that appears on the record is also a dance floor weapon! It is House Music for grown people. A lovely piece of wax to add to your collection. 250x copies pressed. Don’t miss it!

Including wanted vinyl tracks by Paul Kalkbrenner, Tori Amos, The Knife, Trentemøller, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Goose, Zombie Nation and Bomfunk MC's.

ALVA are back with their new EP "Hétérotopies" on which the "promising duo" (Tsugi Magazine) presents their most accomplished release thanks to a balance and a wealth of musical structures which makes the listener travel among their influences, mixing groovy and aerial deep house sounds with a mental and percussive universe.

the EP FACE I is an evolution from the previously released album JAHRE. it fits into the narrative of urban life and our own personal development. both chronology and emotions are explored here and adapted with lyricism and atmospheric digital and analog sound.

it starts with 1984, beginning of our emotional journey and also literary (GEORGE ORWELL) fixpoint of the electronic adaptation. we feel a kind of lightness in our society, upswing and freedom determine everyday life for a large part of germany. we are free, everything seems possible! almost we move through an utopia. new prosperity and contentment let us blossom, no digital friends and in-between worlds alienate our seemingly naive and peaceful being.

in TMV a first individual emotional world comes to the fore, the mood is mixed and seems fragile. euphoria and melancholy mix to an undefined state of emotional and musical confusion. LYRIK gets a first big space here and carries from the part of confusion into a part of detachment. despite the ambivalence of the first moment, the scene ends in a transcendental, positively driving state of letting go and rest ...

the next part takes us away from the familiar and seemingly peaceful MOMENTS. we jump into the year 2184! 200 years later we are sitting here now, society has turned into an emotional desert like in ORWELLS fiction. a lonely CYBORG sits in the ruins of our once joyful cathedrals and sings about his tearing apart. he can't be without, but also can't be with his own anymore. like a cursed of two worlds he sits stranded in space and time.

the conclusion is made by TMVA, here we get into a very intimate emotional farewell to a lost and unfulfilled love. the calm tempo lets everything flow out that has confused and driven us for years. who or what do we want to become emotionally? are we even capable of letting ourselves fall after decades of searching and disruption? are we already dying? in the end only art and the love of it remains to save us.

First ever 12" reissue for this 90's anthem. 30 years after the original release on Definitive Recordings, "House For All" is the joy we still need to hear.

Now back with a vibing full cover co-produced with Basic Frame crew for their 5th anniversary. This release is dedicated to Elena Sole & Flavia Romana.

Full Cover Jacket - Official Reissue

"The story behind Shroomz, Guns and Roses came from the pandemic, it was a time I felt deep in nature and studying of zen, I felt like the pandemic brought out a darkness in me, and I combatted these negative thoughts with nature and mushrooms to create a balance in my life spending time in the mountains of Alabama and Asheville, North Carolina. I chose "guns" and "roses" as a way to juxtapose the violence we're experiencing in the USA with the peace of mind a rose can bring as a balance in life. Music makes its way through these tough times we're all facing, and to me, music is that rose. I paint a canvas of my emotions through synthesizers and drum machines to show the world balance can be found through even the toughest of times."

Fresh from their self titles 1981 album "Your Love" that reached number 1 on the US Dance Charts, "Babe, We're Gonna Love Tonight" reached number 6 on the US Dance Charts.

Constantly bending genres, Montreal born Jacques Greene is one of dance music's enigmatic and pioneering producers, highly revered by the likes of Pitchfork.

The hype tune everyone has been asking Matthew about in his DJ sets. His own laptop-in-a-hotel-room bootleg remix of a live version of 'come back around' jamie lidell performed on KEXP radio show in LA finally gets an official, remix with a bit of techno on the B side.

Accidental Jnr is the new imprint from Herbert's Accidental Records to focus on electronic / club / dance output which has thus far seen releases from the U.K's Bambooman and Berlin's Dave Aju.

Based in Berlin Max Newton & Matalo! have delivered percussion heavy funk and gritty Nuyorican rhythms on both GAMM and Take Away Records.
Their new release on Omena LTD continues on the same path and adds deep house and breezy latin flavours.

U-Bahn at Midnight sets things off sounding like a classic MCDE house jam with ringing melodies and sharp horns.
Walkin' On uses that classic Freddie Hubbard sample we all love and makes it even more classy.
On the flip Pao de Acucar vs Vesuvius is a 110% feel-good and summery TUNE, and finally Brooklyn Survivor ends things on a jazzier note with its deliciously deep, Disco-House groove.

A mighty fine way to close the Omena LTD series.

Amine Edge & DANCE bring their soulful sound to Hot Creations with their uplifting new release ‘It Was’ featuring Pershard Owens backed by a remix from Shermanology. Maintaining a constant presence at the top of the charts, with an impressive catalogue boasting releases on esteemed labels such as Defected, Nervous Records and their very own CUFF imprint, French duo Amine Edge & DANCE have solidified themselves as frontrunners when it comes to the modern house landscape. Up next, their partnership takes them to Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' Hot Creations imprint for the first time with their latest single 'It Was' featuring Pershard Owens, with brother-sister duo Shermanology on hand on remix duties to bring the heat.

‘It Was’ opens with rich piano chords, led by luscious melodies, Pershard’s tender vocals and bright keys crafting a delightful serving of summer house grooves before Shermanology flips the track shifting the focus onto pulsing drum hits and playful rhythms full of energy, perfectly crafted for open-air dance floors.

"DANCE (FOR YAH)" feat ANGELA ANGEL LIFE. 3 cuts of late-night deepness from GLENN UNDERGROUND's SJU. The ORIGINAL MIX is stripped back just enough to let the super funky bass vamp and hypnotic vocal take center stage. The "CVO MAGIC DUB" is all gorgeous jazzy keys over raw 909 programming.

The third release on The Magic Movement features the label's A&R Noema from Berlin. "Antipodes" starts off with a funky bass-line, trippy bells and syncopated claps which set an psychedelic Afro vibe from the very beginning. Mystical noises increase this mood, till a hypnotising Moog hook calls for action. And at the latest when the sub bass finally drops in, the scenery transforms into an ecstatic ritual dance.

On the flipside you'll find Aunti Flo's remix with a a more dubby feel of the title track. A spheric choir pad unfolds over strong Afro percussions, while a rattle snake like shaker excitedly rises and falls.
"Late at Night" feels like a nocturnal walk through streets in twilight.

The Groove, which sounds like odd clockwork, gets occasionally enhanced by more interesting percussion sounds. The melodies, played by a Marimba-like instrument and filtered synth, is accompanied by a warm pad and a disco bassline, whilst a female voice moans in the back.

This rare house music vinyl release features an unknown artist, adding to its mystique. The vinyl includes expertly produced tracks that blend classic and modern house elements, creating a unique and captivating sound. Highly sought after by collectors, this limited release is a must-have for any house music enthusiast.

We have been really liking what we've heard from the Dolphin label out if the US of late. Now we get a taster of an upcoming album from Blaque Dynamite with a second single from it. Beka Gochiashvili features on keyboards and synthesizers throughout the cut. The Stefan Ringer remix is a wet and funky mix of jazz, house and experimental sound. It has a sleazy sense of vocal naughtiness to it with shuffling broken beats and rich layers of percussion. The original is an organic and loose-limbed deep house vibe and Ben Hixon brings a little more edgy tech to the drums.

Daydream Utopia is an album of atmospheric downtempo electronica made to be played in two sessions on an old fashioned vinyl disc.

As the title suggests it's a soundtrack for a day dream or maybe an inner or outer space exploration.

“A2, 3 and 5 are immediate standouts - have a sort of Boards Of Canada / IDM vibe.

The voice and tabla on Leap Year make it a potential sunset classic.” Dr Rob (BanBanTonTon)

Cult sensation Gloria Ann Taylor, who in the early 1970s laid the groundwork for much of disco, R&B, and modern soul as we know it, sees her posthumous release 'Be Worthy' reimagined by renowned producers Flying Mojito Bros into a euphoric, gospel-piano-house-esque West Coast disco cruiser.

"What an honor it is to have been invited to remix the work of such an important and innovative heritage artist" say the duo. "We wish we'd have had the opportunity to chat with and learn from Gloria herself. This remix is our small contribution and dedication to a towering musical legacy of talent, guts and pioneering genre-crossing. Viva Gloria!"

The record looks as good as it sounds too, with Flying Mojito Bros art-directing a colorful and cosmic reimagining of the original cover via illustration wizard Nick Potts, reflecting the bros’ transplantation of Gloria's soul diva spirit into their own southwestern desertscape dreamworld.

Speaking of which, the pair are still shaking Californian dirt from their boots after a hugely successful recent tour of the golden state – highlights of which include pumping out 100% FMB Refritos to 5000 revellers at Diplo's electronic Honky Tonk at Stagecoach Festival (the country music Coachella), DJing back-to-back with Diplo himself at his album launch and frenzying up the floor for man of the moment DJ Seinfeld – while playing shows to fans new and old across LA, Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Santa Barbara and San Francisco.

A string of popular releases already in 2023 adds further momentum to Flying Mojito Bros' continued rise. Collaborating with honey-bear soul supremo James Alexander Bright, 'Mirage In The Mojave' is an album of reworks on !K7 Records that elevates tracks from the multi-hyphenate artist's back catalog into vibrant disco-chug territory, FMB-style. A sold-out chunky 10" swiftly followed on much-adored imprint Too Slow To Disco, featuring well-received re-edits of Jorge Santana (brother to Carlos) and the Grateful Dead.

Look out for more from Flying Mojito Bros on Ubiquity Records in the near future.

Recline Music welcome AXIOMATICS on the label with an outstanding four tracks EP on vinyl.

AXIOMATICS is the new project by Mirco Violi and Riccardo Baldoni that masterfully wrote and produced this amazing record. The EP opens with 'Thelma', a great Detroit house tune with a delicious vocal and impressive jazzy pianos, chords and strings that is set to become an instant classic. Then comes 'Polar' that mixes the classic with the contemporary, fusing old school elements like the melodic bass line and stuttering synth licks, with bumpy rhythms that add a modern charm to the composition of this house number.

The B side opens with 'Habibti' a much deeper and dark trip with rolling grooves, deep vocal samples and lead sounds that come from Eastern lands; an immense house cut made strictly for the dancefloor. Finally, 'K.O.T.B' closes the record, a no nonsense house cut, tipping the focus over to a chuggy bass groove, tension building strings and rugged drums with a beautiful vocal sample; the result is a weighty peak-time interpretation.

AXIOMATICS The EP is a real bomb, stay tuned guys and do not sleep!

Following a string of beautiful digital albums and cassette titles. We get our first Glo Phase long player on vinyl. “Soft Gems” captures Joseph’s up-tempo arrangements for fans long pining to see and hear more of his sound presented on wax. Your record collection will immediately thank you.

Matthew Herbert presents remixes by Floating Points, Seven Davis Jr and Herbert himslef as part of a special 12" vinyl RSD 2023 release. The remixes are of tracks from 2021's full length album Musca, an instinctive return to the ‘domestic house’ series that started back in 1998 with Around The House and the 2001's Bodily Functions.

Going forward in exquisite style, Marina releases her second outing on her own Sweet State imprint, matching three deftly produced originals with three remixes from Gerd Janson, Earl Jeffers and Tatyana Jane. Launching in 2021 with her ‘Free Mind EP’ complete with remixes from Cinthie and Anna Wall, ‘Imperméable en été’ now follows up - sure to further cement her position as an artist in the ascendancy.

On this long-awaited release, Marina Trench delivers three originals cuts, that range from the colourful opener and nu disco lovely ‘Ose’, co-composed and performed with fellow Parisian producer Hugo LX, to the classic house vibrations of the club oriented ‘L’Orage’, via some pop infused downtempo vibes from the heartfelt ballad ‘Hirondelle’. With these three new compositions, Marina shows her shimmering musical versatility and aims to blow some fresh air into her own sonic galaxy.

The B side houses a series of impressive remixes, kicking off with one of the most legendary artists of this time, Gerd Janson, and his instantly recognizable touch. Gerd delivers an ever so classy version of ‘Ose’ feat Hugo Lx that keeps the sultry sample of Marina’s vox present, while he composes a whole new bassline that leads the groove.

Next comes a remix of ‘L’Orage’ by the very talented Earl Jeffers. His deep-down groove lead style sits at the crossroads of afro and UK house. Adding new pads, synthwork, and solid bass, Earl perfectly reworks the track for the club and introspective moments alike, by submerging the listener into his colourful and vibrant shade of house.

Tatyana Jane's brilliant effort rounds off the EP. An emerging talent from France who makes a mark with her production skill once again through her rerub of ‘Hirondelle’. Bringing a whole new vibe that blends influences of breakbeat to techno to afro-futurism. Marina's vocal is on repeat throughout, bolstered by building drums that carries the dancer away in a sonic whirl.

For its first release of 2019, Sol Power Sound is pleased to welcome back Nenor -- formally Obas Nenor-- to the label family. Since his now-classic Color Soul EP on Sol Power Sound back in 2015, Nenor has gone on to release a string of hugely successful EPs on Heist, Whiskey Disco, and on his own imprint, Nenorion Music.

With the Future Ancestor EP, Nenor revisits the African-inspired textures that made the Color Soul EP unforgettable, but ventures further into the subterranean reaches. On "Tike Ye Ya Kende", Nenor teams up with Congolese-born vocalist Natalie Wamba for a rousing dancefloor heat-rock, with pulsing marimbas and hazy synths.

"Nova Man" is a straight-up banger with huge chugging bass, dubby vocal samples, and thrilling atmospherics.

"Ibe" dives head-first into the deep with tripped-out arpeggios, complex, layered percussion, and more of those gritty signature Nenor synths.

"Knwo" speeds ahead on a bruk-n-bass trajectory as a frenetic stomper that will inspire late-night dancers to throw crazy shapes.

With early support from Simbad, Soul Clap, Jacques Renault and more, the Future Ancestor EP is sure to be another staple in ever-growing Nenor and Sol Power Sound catalogs and will keep dark rooms ablaze all summer long.

We are thrilled to announce the next release on Pleasant Systems from Nu-Cleo, who is widely known for his impressive musical works as Rhythm Of Paradise, Gourment De Funk or Rydm Sectors alongside Nico Lahs, to name a few. Hailing from Bari, Nu-Cleo has garnered much recognition for his releases, which are easily distinguishable by their rich warmth, profound depth, and unpretentiousness. "Never Satisfied" is another demonstration of his mastery, featuring four instant classics that span from the lighter, groovier side of house to a more introspective and contemplative one.

We think our 6th release – not counting the überdrüber
‘sizzling hot edits’ – is a good display of the rtct.records
variety. Four artists from all over continental Europe are
showcasing their eclectic styles, fully exploring the richness of
house music front to back and old to new. Whether you hated
or enjoyed the record, let us know what you did with it. And, you know, just for reasons of SEOability, here are artist names again: PARADISO RHYTHM!

Deep Inspiration Show Records presents the climax premium entry in their essential vinyl series selection; “Family Things Vol.4 - The Final Chapter" featuring various artists from a dynamic range of shores and the sounds that keep deep listeners spinning encores at home or on the club floors.

On the A side we are delighted to have for the first time on DISR, DJ Aakmael (USA) treats us to the naturally attractive loops and timeless, soulful rhythm warmth of Lakes - followed up by a delicious and jazzy acidic-house, 5-star entrée from the brilliant mind of Barcé (Spain) who also makes his debut appearance on DIS.

Our B side just continues to provide with yet another well-known newcomer to DIS- come on in and have your slowjam House fantasies made with a sensual deep & percussion driven groover from Soul Renegades- a prolific duo from the UK/Edinburgh including Craig Smith, one half the excellent 6th Borough Project and Ricky Reid. Next prepare to travel by sea or land with the organic, smoky, and romantic sounds of the Mechanical Man (Italy).

Of course, at this listening point you are deeply serenaded going into the finale of the ep from the legendary All Starr Motomusic (Switzerland) socking it to your soul with wine smooth modern funk and 80s boogie behind the groove controls.

Adding further to this selection of quality sound aesthetics is flawless mastering from Sven Weisemann…therefore, if dynamic and deep is what you understand, Family Things Vol.4 is the masterplan.

2LP Reissue of Paradise, the 1998 debut studio album from Paris' Bob Sinclar. Paradise was originally released in 1998 and helped to popularize the French Touch take on house music. There are plenty of disco samples and 909 kicks to keep the party going in signature Sinclar style.

His simple take on production made the album a winner with a wide array of audiences. It's a groove heavy affair made to keep the party going no matter who happens to step in the door.

Released by Yellow Productions on double vinyl housed in a full colour sleeve.

A Deep Lake is an easy, breezy, sky-blue house tune with a healthy swing and a carefree bass line. The unhurried slowbuild evokes just the kind of outdoor jam that Ospovat frequents. There are some small surprises as the record goes on, though. The more dense, acidic feel of Thick Air is a clubfriendly workout, while Chasonsa Vibes has an earthy groove with live drums and half-sung vocals. The sprightly,

Kompakt-esque title track closes out this vibrant EP

House music legend DJ Sneak shows us why he’s a master of the groove on his ‘Back to love’ EP for Heist Recordings.

There’s only a handful of people that can really say they’ve seen House music since its earliest days. Puerto Rica-born, Chicago-bred, and LA-based artist DJ Sneak is definitely one of them. He has been the king of the groove ever since his big break back in ’94 through Cajmere’s label Cajual and was key in the development of that mid-nineties house sound with appearances on labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Henry St Music and 83 West. Sneak has worked with some of the biggest artists in the game including Daft Punk, (delivering lyrics for their track ‘Digital Love’), Armand Van Helden and many more.

After a break in the past few years where Sneak re-evaluated his relationship with the scene and his music, he’s now back doing the thing he loves most: Making killer tracks and slamming it on a record. We’ve always considered each other friends and Sneak has been a true supporter of our music and the label since day 1, so it’s humbling to realize that we’re now in a place where we can let his music shine on Heist. With that, we’re proud to present this future classic from the master himself.

The aptly titled “Back to love” EP starts off with one of Sneak’s most intimate productions to date: “Love can make it happen”. Built around an ever-evolving vocal loop, and dreamy strings this track is deeper than deep with the percussion matching that meditative energy, with the grunt only Sneak can bring.

“Going back to it” is Chicago house music in its core. Moody chords, some vocal chops, a badass bass line, and solid percussion is all you need. With ‘Full Cycle’ on the flip, we see Sneak take back his rightful place as the king of the groove. It’s a track that has us reminiscing the days of ‘Paperclip People’ where the bluntness of a live recorded ‘on/off’ arrangement really adds something special to a track.

The EP ends with “Pockets”, a house jam with classic 90s vocals and energetic snare drums to add that classic New York touch to this already amazing record and shows us that DJ Sneak has a great feel for bringing modern day house music with a vintage feel.

As always, enjoy the music and play it loud!
