1996 - 2016 : 20 years of success with over 20 million of records sold all across the globe! Thanks to key partnerships, during its first 20 years of business Do It Yourself had the pleasure to represent, promote and/or publish artists the likes of Calvin Harris, Sia, Deadmau5, Omi, Eminem, 50 Cent, The Black Eyed Peas, Mary J. Blige, Stromae, Sting, David Bowie, Queen, Shaggy, Puff Daddy, The Roots, Moby, Toni Braxton, Underworld, Emilia, Marilyn Manson, Blink 182, Bob Marley, Lisa Stansfield, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin, Gabrielle, Modjo, Bel Amour, Aqua, The Specials, Sugar Babes, Babybird, Nelly, The Notorious B.I.G., N-Sync, Safri Duo, The Bloodhound Gang, Sonique, 5-Five, Janet Jackson, Snoop Dogg, FloRida, Wiz Khalifa, Nicki Minaj, Dale Saunders, Bruno Mars, Akon, Lil Wayne, T-Pain, Kelly Rowland, Trina, Dwaine, Coolio, Public Enemy, Ola, Mr. Oizo, Inna, Edward Maya, Sak Noel, Guru Josh, Fragma, Paradisio, ATB, Scooter, Lutricia Mc Neal, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, just to name a few. Do It Yourself brought to success artists such as GALA (Freed from desire, Let a boy cry), THE SOUNDLOVERS (Run-away, Surrender), REGINA (Day by day, Killing me softly) CAROLINA MARQUEZ (S.e.x.o.), MOLELLA (Discotek people, Love last forever), MIRANDA (Vamos a la playa). All these artists and songs were able to make the history of the dance scene, not only in Italy, all that much to become real 'classics' of the 1990s and 2000s. Do It Yourself is also partner and co-owner of smash-hits such as 'I know you want me' by PITBULL and 'Seek bromance' by TIM BERG (better known as Avicii). To celebrate such an important goal let's go back to origins with a limited vinyl edition (12' - mix) selected by the man who wrote the history of Do It Yourself and beyond: Max Moroldo. 'It was difficult to chose among the hits we released in the past 20 years. Every single has its own history, often an amazing one, so almost all our tracks would be worth a new release - if only I could. I picked up the tracks I am particularly close to (further to 'Alors on danse' by Stromae, 'Lady' by Modjo, 'Bornslippy' by Underworld, 'Played-a-live' by Safri Duo, 'Sandstorm' by Darude, which we do not control anymore), because they were real challenges...and I won! The first two releases want to be a tribute to great international artists, which I had the pleasure to bring to success in Italy: GURU JOSH (earthly name Paul Walden, who recently passed away) and CALVIN HARRIS (on my opinion the most complete pop-dance artist in the last 10 years)' Moroldo explains.
