Ceri and Alex Arnout launch their new collaboration alias 'CnA', for the eagerly anticipated third release on Ceri's Find Your Own Records label.

The A side 'Higher' is a happy house summer festival banger, inspired by getting high from the music, and the B side 'Show Me What You Got' is an eerie slice of breaksy techno, reminiscent of the early UR sound.

On the remix is Ukranian SE62, famed for his releases on labels like My Love Is Underground and Slapfunk. He reworks the original into a dubby summer laid back deep house minimal cut.

The first two releases sold out on vinyl, had plays on BBC Radio1, BBC 6Music, have rave reviews in dance music press, as well as being Mixmag's techno 'Tune Of The Month', and was also supported by some of the biggest and most respected selectors in the scene such as Ben UFO. For the first release of GNC Records we present 5 modern dancefloor oriented electro and techno tracks, with clever samples and vocals that pay tribute to the late 80s and early 90s belgian and german scenes. Taking some elements from new beat, ebm and synthpop, these tracks were made to be used in a club format in order to build up intensity or to get nostalgic at the end of a marathonic afterhours session. Solid basslines that put bodies to move and hypnotic leads that get your mind tripping serve as the ideal balance in this EP which was made to serve as a bridge between modern club music and old school nostalgia.

Halvtrak has gathered a following. The previous releases by the Finn on Don't Be Afraid and BAKK teased an appetite among techno heads for his Detroit infused and texturised sound and unexpected grooves. Moving towards warmer tones, his latest output on a new London/Helsinki label Cold Blow enters him further into Detroit's past.

As an unexpected treat, the title track has been re-imagined by the very special Chinaski with his trademark ghoul sound so reminiscent of old horror films now blended with sharp electro and EBM vibe. Chinaski has been busy of late with a Berghain live set as well as his fine River's End EP on Uncanny Valley and Ghost Rider on Live at Robert Johnson. From relentless groove to darker places, this is Halvtrak's most refined release yet as he becomes an Illuminator of his own ascent."

The cheeky yet sophisticated “Manzo Edit” calf returns with a fresh assortment of four lushly revisited cuts. First on the menu is “Digestif”, a laid-back Disco House track ideal for setting the dance floor groovin.

“Get It” also falls into the downtempo realm with its smoky acid beat, while “Dancecraft” hits you head-on with a load of robotic funk. Lastly, “Forneria Moderna” pays a festive homage to the Latin side of Jazzy House.

Portuguese producer Mardel debuts on Carpet’s Circuits series with a tight set of modular jams. Precise, at times introspective but with a driving motor pulse underneath, the three electro tracks touch on acid and bass as they launch into space. For its part, the ten-minute lead track, ‘Ducks In A Pond’, is a dreamy dubby epic, full of surprising textures and watery flourishes.

This EP is delicately melodic and fluid that even in its short four tracks shows a producer with different bows to their arrow. Intro is a laid back, downtempo affair with vocal samples punctuating the track’s pared down synths and gently propulsive beats.

Contrast that with Engang, which sees Jos Ma chisel all other elements away and put trust in the groove and urgency of its percussive elements. It’s something he echoes in Like Honey, although here the bright stabs of keys provide a welcome interjection - as does the chopped-up vocals that offer a further counterpoint to its kwaito-reminiscent shuffle. It is perhaps here that his respect and love of central and southern Africa’s dance forms is presented at its most bare.

The EP finishes with Mongo’s Dance, so-called after the Cuban Mongo Santamaria and driven forward by a chopped-up pachanga rhythm taken from one of the pioneering percussionist’s tracks. He then adorns it with wavy synths and flutes, each intertwining over the top as though engaged in ritual with one another. It’s a euphoric, slightly delirious end to an EP that puts Jos Ma firmly in Mas O Menos’ “neither here nor there” camp – a producer who simply follows his instincts and revels in the enthrallingly wandering music it throws up.

For the 7th installment we welcome Ukrainian producer Lenzyak, with an EP full of dreamy and progressive digressions, that drives us from the deepest atmospheres to the brightest vibe supported by a blend of breaky, trancey and techno grooves.

Manuel Sahagun is considered one of the most relevant artists in Argentina's house music scene. After several EPs on Freerange, Lazy Days, True Romance and Get Physical, his new offering on Burnin Music doesn't disappoint.

Jorge’s takes influences from Detroit and Chicago, as well as the UK and of course, Montevideo’s electro scene.

The track ‘ADE’ is opening the EP with a delightful adventure into the cosmos.

Next up is ‘MK Ultra’, named after the infamous CIA mind control experiments (“Involves several drugs and electrodes plugged into the brain”).
