House Vinyl New Releases - News

Mike Spirit and Rayo continue their Cooltool journey into classy contemporary house music. After highly
acclaimed debut "Southwater EP" by Technique & Yaroslove (including Alexkid and Patrick Zigon remixes) new
release is on the way. Please welcome V!ctor & Lownza (Jett, Frabon Records) who deliver massive house tune
"Bit My Jazz" straight from smoky Parisian dancefloors. Another French veteran Chris Carrier (proud owner of
Catwash and Adult Only imprints also releasing his music on such well-known labels as Robsoul, Bass Culture,
Off, Spectral Sound and, finally, Freak n' Chic) is responsible for two driving remix tools - and we must say, this
is Carrier's sound in its finest!

Wonderful energetic dance music with well integrated rhythmic and melodic structures. Cristi Cons is a romanian musician from known (a:rpia:r) who also runs his own Amphia imprint. This to the point dance-floor-proven EP now becomes available, pressed into solid wax as Cristis debut on Meander. Lifelong studies in classical music as a cellist have sharpened his sensitivities for unique harmonies and a good ear for sounds. A few years back he got fascinated by the modern spirit of club music surrounding him in Bucharest and beyond. Besides working on his solo productions, he recently worked with Pedro Inspirescu for the TT Ensemble project released on Yojik-Concon. Furthermore he created Sideways Invisibility Theory together with Vlad Caia plus a new cooperational jam called Verico with Raresh and Vlad. We are certain Cristi Cons will continue to make waves in a muscial field which is fascinated by feelings, rhythm and the observation of nature.

Flyance Records presents the "Cycles Vol.3".
They stay faithful to the vibes of the first two.
On the A side, two tracks of Ka One & St-Sene:
A1. "Disorder Tones" goes in the raw and the dark side of the deepness, it's a melt between beautiful pads, aggressive chords and strong beat.
A2. "Textures" is a constantly evolves track with full of elements, from deep pads associate to arpeges to the cosmic synths lead by a minimalist beat, it's a journey into the depths.
On the B side, two tracks of Janeret:
B1. "Abstrakt 9" is the first techno track of the "Cycles" series.
The track evolves in a dark atmosphere with a powerful beat, a lead with industrial and space sounds and an aggressive and hypnotic acid line.
The second part of the track evolves in a deep atmosphere with a beautiful pad.
B2. "Edge" Massive beat, atmospheric pads, synthetic arpege and a big break it's a typical Flyance's track.

Another hot limited Marcellus Pittman release with 3 tracks. Already been played by Theo Parrish and Omar S. Dirty raw house tracks from Detroit! On a dark dance floor you will be given a glimpse into the heart and mind of Marcellus Pittman.

Adsum is bringing us a 2nd e.p. for Minibar032... This time on the way back from his planet he collided with Cabanne who just happened to be there, freeflying for no reasons, ordinarily they should have exploded in the upper atmosphere, and most of the solids changed into thin air, but a particularity occurred called Cabsum. It ended up in 2 version of Miradolores, this long awaited Adsum track revisited by Cabanne on the B side. So give an ear to this one, and the rest of your body will join the ride for sure.

Artreform return and are gaining a high fan base, with fans of the label including Laurent Garnier, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Jozif, Butch, Leon, David Durango, Ralf Gum, Heartik, UGLH and many more, you know they're on the money! Joss, D.Lamar, A.Harris. Hailing from the Ukraine, these talented producers have delivered some dance floor magic. Comprising of a combination of a local DJ legend Harris & Joss (the co label owner of Artreform), up and coming talent D.Lamar. Three original tracks starting with with the brooding groovy Get No Sleep, an incense workout that locks you in to its magical groove. Followed swiftly by Welcome, a deep techier affair, with its mysterious and tantalising vibe, with hints of that underground essence that Danny Tenaglia used to deliver in his productions. Welcome is remixed by Noah Pred who toughens things up, spicing up the beats and using the hypnotic synths and adding effects and depth. Closing the package we have You Got To Get In a warm yet deep housey number, subtle yet effective with its groovy undertones. Underground tasty winners from Artreform that need your listening attention

In January M.A.N.D.Y. dropped 'Gizmo' into our laps and caused quite a stir. Shortly thereafter, talks of remixes surfaced; and now here we are! We've got four stellar remixes from four special artists, Monoloc, Tim Green, Guti, and the one and only Marc Houle all set and ready to go. You'll even be able to get your hands on the vinyl four weeks before it hits digital shelves. The A side is home to CLR's Monoloc, who makes an appearance here with his dark remix of 'Gizmo'. With long rolling pads, sharp percussion and plenty of heavy energy to go around, this remix will surely find its way into the sweatiest of sets. Tim Green remixes 'Montagsmaschine' to complete the A side. Tim's perspective carries over the dark vibe of Monoloc's remix while keeping the energy reduced, allowing for a long, simmering track that fits nearly any time of day. Both Guti and Marc Houle play with 'Obsessed' to bring their own sound to the EP. Guti's remix is the deeper of the two, with hi hats blazing and the kicks punching. Marc's remix contrasts beautifully and keeps the atmosphere rather playful and snappy with a great tech-house vibe.

here are the part 1 of vinyl release of i'm starting to feel ok vol.7.
exclusive new songs from our favorite producers.
enjoy!

After a string of heavy-hitting techno missiles, the Tete imprint returns in 2016 with its third release to date, a three - tracker built by the label's boss, Gianmaria Coccoluto. The young Italian producer steps into the limelight, and challenges the Berlin school with the "Dance Corporation", a hypnotic sound massage that is carried by a 4/4 tempo, but delivers much more than that thanks to its intricate bundles of melodies, and a subtly tribal stance. Instead, "Sonic Massage" sees Coccoluto heading to more soulful territories, coming out with a sublime house stepper packed with mystical samples and broken shreds of percussion. Similarly, "Tetape" sticks close to the house framework, but the tune goes way beyond the usual brand of deep house, and gives the listener a much deeper, more wide-eyed experience. It's another clear development in GC's production skills, and it's a highly recommended EP to all house and techno heads.

inspired by her residencies at stockholm's EMS studios, kyoka's new EP »SH« might be her most experimental record so far.
the 4 tracks presented on this EP can be described as snapshots having a spontaneous character as they were edited and recorded during various sound checks and performances.the results are not less typical of kyoka's chaotic sound with unforeseen shifts in beat, unpredicted repetitions and surprising clicks and bops.
the rather slow and gloomy opener »susurrus« is followed by a somehow dubby and strongly up-tempo track, »smash/hush«, that culminates in a repetitive and hypnotic swirl. the b-side, on the other hand, continues with a rather slamming track and is rounded of with »shush«, a track that loses some speed, but not complexity through its diverse breaks and cuts.
besides a release on vinyl, this EP will also see a CD release in japan with two additional tracks that will be available digitally through raster-noton's online shop.

The Hivern Discs crew have been playing this music since we got the first track of the Parple series. Now, we have compiled the 3 tracks of the Parple project in this first volume. The limited 12" includes a poster by illustrator Jordi Labanda.

Sticking to its mission on digging out fresh sounds from the romanian underground, Metereze proposes Limpid and his antagonistic 4-tracks house journey for it's 6th release. On the deeper side of this record you'll find 2 pieces that complement each other to perfection: Uncle Sens, with its simple structure on the surface level that's more like an invitation to discover the elaborate work done on the sample level, and Copacul Vietii, rooted into the deep house glory days yet connecting this fertile ground with the future dancefloors through dreamy loops reverbed around the phat bassline.Flip the record to reveal the side that would most certainly drain the dancefloor energy: the chicago-esque piano to break the fast cavernous patterns in Speologie versus Zibi's techno structure, softened just enough to keep us from sliding into the darkness.Tested already on the house music hungry crowds by Raresh, the name behind Metereze.

Oli Furness crafts tracks designed for the floor, utilising a substantial hardware collection with old & new production techniques to create some serious raw grooves to make you party. Both "envy" and "jus' fine" are some of his hottest tunes to date and are real club killers. This release also offers two remixes from the ever hot Urulu (Needwant, Dirt Crew. Let's play house), who turns "envy" into a "Dave Clark Red" like tool ('Urulu mix 1") and into a dark techno monster ('Urulu mix 2"). Don't miss this piece of wax!
Oli Furness is a music & hardware loverlover! He is owner and label manager of Music is love Records. 2013 has been the start of some solid releases for Oli with tracks dropping Skylax, Nervous, Extended Play and his own imprint Music is Love, You can also see Oli djing around the world this year playing clubs from Japan to Berlin and also at festivals like Glastonbury . Music really is his love!
Urulu offers a refreshing interpretation of the nostalgic '90s house sound, taking the sensibilities of this timeless style and combining it with a strong electronic aesthetic of contemporary influence.

A new player on the Tape Hiss roster again. With his unique attitude RDMA leads the way in keeping the label's repertoire diverse. Peculiar vibes are mixed with heavy drums, sharp hi-hats and dreamy textures. The first ever remix in the history of Tape Hiss is featured on this release delivered by Route 8 adding some extra depth and yet another vibrating component.

Aquarius Heaven is Brian Brewster, an artist brought up between Texas and the Caribbean who has laid down some compelling, socially and politically minded verses on magical EPs for labels like Wolf & Lamb and Circus Company. Fusing reggae, dancehall, house and hip hop he is a unique talent who has also worked with dOP, Miss Kittin, Ryan Crosson, Art Department, Mathias Kaden and many more. First here up he teams with Eric Volta, a synth obsessive who releases his excellent soundscapes on No.19 Music and My Favorite Robot. Together the pair cook up 'Life Worth Living,' a deliciously deep, woozy number with bumpy wooden drums and echoing vocals that drift up top as Brewster muses on the subject of life. It is late night and romantic as well as tainted with real sadness. 'Nan Nan Nay' then finds Brewster linking with Jamaica Suk (a fast rising Berlin talent, trained musician and machine music lover who appreciates jazz and shoe gaze amongst other sounds) and Damien Vandesande. The resulting track is full of fat bass, blurting synths, pained patois vocals from Brewster and a ramshackle groove that is perfectly off kilter and brilliantly organic and authentic. The digital bonus track is a dub version without the vocals which places even more emphasis on the fine synth work and boom bap of the drums.
Lastly, 'Gateway' is another brilliant three way collaboration between Aquarius Heaven, Jamaica Suk and Damien Vandesande. This is the most direct of the lot, with a corrugated deep house drum line, spitting perc and serene pads that dampen down the jostling kicks. Finished off with Brewster's intoxicating vocals, it is a fresh and stand alone cut that marks another high point in the musical adventures of Aquarius Heaven.

Following the debut EP from label owners Julien Sandre and Konstress, Blind Box comes back with the second release, signed by Utrecht-based hot young producer Julian Alexander.
Established member of the infamous Slapfunk crew, this bad boy caught the attention of the biz with his powerful old school flavoured minimalism, by the likes of people like Brawther and Tristan da Cunha who packed a whole EP for their Dungeon Meat.

When Julian meets Blind Box, his deepest side shows up. Two stunning bass heavy journey and a full analogue locked groove on B3 to define the entrancing vibes you'll find out of the box.
On the A2 track we got remix courtesy of one of the finest producers of the underground scene, Samuel Andre Madsen aka S. A. M. (Oscillat, Delaphine, Fathers & Sons Productions, Concrete). The spiritual side of the amazing Mandar project reshapes 'Lizhi' with a concentrated beam of deepness, surfing through some serious 909 beats.
Blind Box team also got a treatment for 'All the way', adding to the B side the deep and groovy sound that marked them out so far.

Super sweet EP by Leao

Finally Repressed!
Turbo overlord Tiga unleashes his hit single "Plush" on 12" vinyl. Featuring remixes by I:Cube and Jacques Lu Cont.

Tiga's latest hit single was co-produced by Matthew Dear, starting as a freeform jam session and ending as something that works equally well as an underground club anthem and literally everybody's track of the year. It also features what Tiga is privately calling his greatest vocal performance to date.

As is the custom in contemporary dance music, Tiga handpicked and handpaid French Touch legend I:Cube and UK superproducer Jacques Lu Cont to create two remixes of the new track. I:Cube gets all French and handsy with the original, tweaking out an acid blackout soundtrack. Meanwhile, Lu Cont draws on his alleged stint as Madonna's choreographer to pump up the tempo for the biggest rooms you could possibly imagine.

'This song comes 100% from a universe 1000% my own. I don't mind being thought of as 'The Different Guy,' so long as all the right people love me," says the Turbo Man-O-War. "And they do, because it's their right to be right all night, a'ight

Arma continues to translate the club's unparalleled experience into vinyl format. 10th release from the label features Benjamin Brunn's track 'Gamma Delta Epsilon' followed with two remixes by Steve Summers and Alex Danilov. In the original version Brunn merges techno and futuristic house patterns into beautiful grotesque rhythm construction. Both retakes show authors at their best: Alex Danilov creates a deep cosmic mood slowing down the tempo and adding dreamlike poetic chords, Steve Summers boils track down to laconic strong-beat narrative. The record comes in cover that features original painting by Pavlik Kuznetsov.

Other People is excited to announce Solpara's Swing EP, the debut solo release by New York born and based artist Paul Sara. Paul recently returned to his New York base after spending five years in Montreal studying, working, and composing. There, he co-founded Booma Collective with Oren Ratowsky and Valentin Stip, a local group of musicians and sound artists, as well as a music label. Swing is a sort of summation of Paul's time in Montreal and his first full solo release outside of Booma. For Paul, Swing is movement, sound, and hypnosis. That fine, affective modulation, as present in a drum machine or a drummer's hand, plays a role. But so too does Paul's memory of winter sessions in Booma's studio (ironically named 'The Furnace'), where he and his friends had to swing their bodies back and forth to keep warm. The five tracks on Swing evoke warmth within cold, cavernous spaces. 'Descent' begins the EP with a one synth panning and undulating quietly left and right before the drop of a gentle, knowing beat. Next, 'Swing' bursts open with a tremendous kick looming over tumultuous layers of bass frequency filigreed by glowing chords. The gruff, calloused percussion of 'Vitamin C' sounds like its rattling inside the case of a grenade. And 'Short Circuit,' the longest track here and an awesome demonstration of polyrhythmic capacity, doubles as jagged sound sculpture. 'Seahorses' ends the EPlike it began — a single synth swaying to and fro.

PHAT TRAKTOR aka Jose Vinilo (Dj, Producer& remixer)
Captured at the tender age of 14 by the movement of the 90s, Phat Traktor, aka Jose Vinilo, remains dedicated to his passion, Stockholm style, to the music that took him at so tender an age. At fifteen, Phat Traktor began experimenting with music production and the technologies to which he now confesses he is addicted. Like any junkie he has a singular objective; to pursue his addiction, decimating boundaries and developing a unique style, a journey which has taken him through derivations from House, fused with sounds from Deep to Techno, progressing to a bolder sound; Technohouse. His explosive sessions entertain crowds who, enraptured by his contagious energy, collude with him through the voyage of his irreverent, and endlessly unpredictable sets, in an atmosphere that explodes the air like a night in downtown Bhagdad. Beyond his much famed non stop twelve hour sessions with the collective Soundmode, along with seven other djs from Barcelona, Phat Traktor can boast shared line ups with John Digweed, Marco Carolla, Joris Voorn and James Zabielia, his productions have been recognized by artists such as Ben Manson, Mike Ivi, Bogdan Taran,Raul Blanco, dj Jobani, The Flash Brothers, Deka, Christian Cambas, Peter McGill, Maxi Iborquiza.
