On the back of an acclaimed LP on his own UMHS label, Freerotation resident Leif takes his woozy grooves and lush atmospherics for a trackier spin on Galdoors.

Macro Beat's broken latin groove propels the A1 through layers of bubbling dub synths and twinkling atmospherics. Moment Beat shares the first track's club focus, but this time chimes unfurl over a low-slung groove that leaves things perfectly poised for a change in direction. On the B, Tumbler picks up the pace once more with highs and arpeggios that pulse and slide around each other restlessly, before Untitled wraps up with a beatless and beautiful flourish.

As we head into fall Ovum Recordings keep the hits coming. Having bathed in the deepness of Nico Lahs we were then moved to get sweaty and get down with Technasia's 'Bastille Days.' Today we come with yet more freshness with the diverse new ep from the legendary Mr Tom Middleton. Tom is a true electronic luminary. From his partnership with Mark Pritchard as Reload, Global Communication, Jedi Knights and Secret Ingredients to his own solo work, Tom has always pushed the boundries of dance music whether it be ambient, techno, electro, funk, and house. A true master of his game, we are honored to welcome him as the newest member of the Ovum family. This new release initially came together off the back of the A side track 'Penrose Steps". Tom gave the track to Josh and it instantly became one of the biggest tracks in his sets, never leaving his bag. In true Ovum style, we were keen to bag a B Side with a completely different feel. We went back and forth for quite some time and as Tom set about working on a production we all lost a very dear friend and colleague, Kenny Hawkes. The aptly named 'Hawkes Groove' is an amazing ode to a truly talented producer and DJ and we are so happy to be bringing it to you.

Following the playful tones of Feathered Sun and Carlos Nilmmns, Circus Company continues its run of distinctive singles with a four-track release from new production entity Flabbergast. While the name might not be familiar, the imagination-soaked minds behind the music are synonymous with the history of Circus Company. Guillaume Coutu-Dumont is of course one of our most treasured sons, a Montreal-man turned Berlinboy with no less than two albums and seven EPs scattered amongst our back catalogue, let alone his achievements elsewhere. He first came to light on the Mutek and Musique Risquee labels, both of which have had the guiding hand of Vincent Lemieux at the controls, and now the two long-time friends have joined forces in the studio to conjure up some heavy grooving voodoo that feeds directly from their respective experiences in the freakier ends of the house and techno spectrum. On all four tracks, there is a concurrent theme that binds together this new sound world of Flabbergast. The production hits raw and direct, with dead-eye rhythms providing a functional structure around which surreal sonic decoration can frolic. 'Frozen Beans' has a twitchy lead and all manner of displaced vocal snippets drifting around the sparse mix, but there is still space for the warmth of a Rhodes to sneak in before things get too unnerving. 'Gros Sabots' meanwhile has fun with some roughly hewn drum breaks, before 'Wash Karma' gets into a spooked-out, exotic incantation of minimal techno with an emphasis on cheeky funk of the highest order. With its delicate elements, flairs of percussion and deadly bassline, this is the kind of track to sneak up on the unsuspecting and shake their hips with inappropriate intent before they know what's hit them.

works of Smallvilleís wunderkind are spreading all over the world. Tours all over Europe, the US and Japan
proove that he is not only a fantastic producer- also his live and dj sets are gorgeously sweet.

Incolor is a collage of distinctive sounds, purposed to disturb the listener's reality, smearing paradoxical stances throughout the entire record. TRCKV01 approach differs from normality. The beginning of each side taints mystery and a relaxed state while the following smears vigor to the record. On the A-side, Greorogythme casts minimalistic glitches onto the cosmic Watch The Stars Falling, while Scopter & iON bring an excess of drums and dub, enfolding in a persisting voice that forms Muntele De La Mare. On the B-side, Key Clef builds an ever-growing tension on disrupted tempos, over persisting wobbles, all which finalize in Keep The Deep. Finally, Dual Shaman lash out on the closing track, with a hard to digest overload of kicks, drums all wrapped in a hard to digest CroMagnon. The record is as complex in sound as colors on a canvas painting, going in depth, exploring unheard mixtures and combinations. Heard entirely, it paints a perfect colored picture.

Matt Karmil is a British musician currently residing in Sweden. '++++' is his third album, following 2014's PNN debut '- - - -' and IDLE033, released on Bristol label Idle Hands earlier this year. His output also includes a variety of singles for labels such as New York's Beats In Space Recordings and Stockholm's Studio Barnhus.
On this new album, Karmil can be heard exploring the concepts of impossible objects, reflection, symmetry, infinity - perspective, truncated and stellated polyhedra - hyperbolic geometry, tessellations and lost love. While making the music that constitutes '++++' he interacted with mathematicians George Pólya, Roger Penrose and Harold Coxeter as well as the crystallographer Friedrich Haag, and also conducted his own research into tessellation.
The result is '++++', Karmil's most clever, strange, emotional and fun work yet, a testament to his breadth and depth as a musician. Did we forget to mention that he's an awesome party dj

Italian imprint 'Campaign Trail' gets on the road again with a Ronald Reagan themed lo-fi EP from German producer Annanan (Forbidden Planet - LL M). The EP starts with splashing hi-hats, droning stabs and lashings of saturation. Heilbronn based producer 'trp' is called in for remix duties, drawing out a more acid influenced version of 'Runaway'. On the flip side Annanan continues his tape saturated journey first with 'Slow Down', a pulsating slow burner, then with 'Contrast', a slightly more ethereal, pad laden track.

Jeremiah R has been responsible for some of the finest electro to be released over the past few years, with his mini albums for Tabernacle Records being particularly potent. Here he launches the Distant Wave label with eight more chunks of atmospheric, far-sighted futurism. As usual, he flits between ambient style interludes and more expansive dancefloor fare. In the latter category you'll find the Motor City techno futurism of "Bermuda Triangle", the glistening IDM loveliness of "Streaming To Arcadia", the Larry Heard-in-space deepness of "Cruiser", and the Drexciyan throb of "JAR (Jamming Avoidance Response)". All are, naturally, both luscious and pleasingly melodious, whilst retaining an intergalactic sense of atmosphere.

'Nedefinit I' is debut EP from the new, Amsterdam based Undefined imprint. It's carefully crafted by Romanian superheroes and friends Lumieux, Emi, Piticu and Xandru. Enjoy their warm and minimalistic sounds on limited 180gr vinyl only.

Paul Lorraine's London/Barcelona based imprint Rhythm Cult has previously given us releases by Stephen Beaupre, Barem and Deadbeat and now serves us with a new one by the always impressive Alan Abrahams aka Portable with the Lovers & Players EP. "Reeva Numbers" is high tech and glitchy minimal, spanning close to twelve minutes; this track just builds and builds brilliantly and those church organs are an interesting touch. On the flip "Only Human" it's more beautifully haunting and emotive deep house as usual by Abrahams, reminiscent of his now classic "Hold On" and featuring his wonderful vocals. Finally "Moving Trains & You" is the most fierce effort on here; a dusty and rusty vintage house jam that grinds and clatters away furiously like a Hieroglyphic Being cut.

Label head Tobias Lindén is making his long awaited return with this 3-tracker of deep, hypnotic techno. Here, his analogue signature sound laced with organic percussive elements marries with strong influences from Tobias frequent visits to Brazil.

Neon is not a common name for italian post punk lovers. Born in Florence, the cradle of peninsula's wave, they were probably the first important post punk gothic band in our country and they are still nowadays one of the most active band in 80's Italian new wave time, still marking Italian rock history. The band, which was born first as a duo at the end of the 70's in Florence's undeground culture, soon stands out for its KRAFTWERK and new wave icons' synth, which made their style a unique 80's cultural dream's specimen, together with newromantic and post punk tought of bands like JOY DIVISION, ULTRAVOX and HUMAN LEAGUE. In 1980, the band got off to an electronic start with the single Information of death, and later, through several line up changes, it achieves to synthetize a mix of obsessive electro sounds, obscure athmospheres and quite original pop melodies which take shapes in later works like Tapes of darkness (1981), Obsession (1982), My blues is you (1983), Dark age (1984), in 1985 Rituals sanctioned Neon as the best Italian new wave band of that year. Releasing albums on Perlon, ~scape, Background and his own label Süd Electronic, Portable has appeared on a string of highly credible imprints, with singles also landing on Karat Records, Musik Krause and Yore Records. Spending his early years in Cape Town, Portable moved to London, followed by Lisbon, before finally settling in Berlin. Whilst in Lisbon he also created his Bodycode alias, and soon after dropped an album on Ghostly International's sister-label Spectral Sound. Kick-starting his release on Rhythm Cult, 'Reeva Numbers' is a dusky production complete with ethereal organ chords, offbeat stabs and subtle melodies. Next, 'Only Human' draws from the sound of the producer's Bodycode moniker, implementing more dancefloor-focused aesthetics with the help of shuffling rhythms, deep vocal moans and heady keys. Concluding the release, 'Moving, Trains And You' is the most minimal number of the package with rolling percussion, soaring pads and a heightening suspense.

Archipel Extra Supplies is the brand new sub-label of Montreal based label, Archipel Musique Canada. The idea of the new project is to focus on providing music enthusiasts with bonus music for their sets as well as listening purposes. The very first release is by Montreal based artist, Stefny Winter who emerges here with a wonderfully crafted tuned project. Slightly stripped down but at the same time, providing a low end, fizzle bass, Winter pushes hypnotic rhythms with a not so subtle smirk. A wink to Audion, or a Perlonesque aesthetic, this Ep ensues a groovy moment as well as heartily groove. As she sets the direction for future releases, Winter proposes a very promising EP that will for sure dig its way to any picky DJ's bag.

Retraieste Romaneste is a LP in which music speaks for it self, like the translation of the title Relive The Romanian Way' this original minimal and deep sound of young artist Dragutesku brings us one step closer to the roots. The track names are picked after the names of great romanian writers and poets from last century topped by the original artwork, this album makes us relive those moments of pure, inspiring originality once again.

Valioso013 comes this time from our beloved italian friend, Mattia Lapucci, his mixing skills are likewise his productions, just absolutely incredible. Minimal in his perfection with classy drums, trippy percussions and synths are involving through the whole room when you hear the Bonaffucci EP, but not only the originals are made of high quality sounds, regarding to the remixers section with Vera, famous for her appearance at Perlon, comes out with a very special remix as well as Piticu, the outstanding talent from Bukarest shows up with a drivy, romanian high class eat.

After critically well-received full length album Black Gap' on Atlanta based Body Control records, Layup is continuing with full-fledged vinyl release on his own imprint. Opening new series on the label called W' because of white labels. Whole series is going to be silkscreen on the covers and hand stamped inside.
