The RebelLION imprint, younger sibling to the firmly established underground leader Crosstown Rebels, has reached its 10th release as the daddy label edges towards its tenth year and 100th release! Nurturing the more leftfield club music catching the radar of Damian Lazarus, RebelLION next delivers the creative juices from American heavyweight Tim Xavier with the driving, tribal masterstroke 'Arco della Devozione'.
Loved and respected by many, Tim Xavier's passionate personality and lifestyle have kept him at the forefront of the techno scene since his first releases almost a decade ago. On the stage Tim is known for his undeniable talent as a once-hard techno mixer turned minimal trend-setter but behind the scenes, the expert sound engineer and key artist for the fast-rising imprint Clink Music, runs a highly successful mastering company based in Berlin. Also working with Tony Rohr as one half of The Afternoon Coffee Boys, Tim's production style overflows with maturity and fluent simplicity and the results are always deep, dark and emotional. This RebelLION installment is no different.
The 'Main Prime Time' mix of 'Arco della Devozione' is a deep and brooding tribal roller nestled in a dense and dubby sound bed of rich percussion, distorting bass and howling sonic winds. As the disembodied vocals descend and echo through the pulsing beats, the atmosphere drives into murkier waters. On the alternative mixes, the 'Paint-The-Sky-Dub' lends a heavy dose of sub-bass and wonky FX while the 'Dub Version' allows the track to throb unbounded by the shuddering voices - a magnificent weapon for any DJ wanting to inject some freakiness into the dancefloor.

Jetzt bereitet Kompakt mit THE PREDICTING MACHINE den nächsten Streich des Ausnahme-Musikers vor. Hi everyone, it's been a while since last release (Anthemusa E.P.) and I would like to thank for following us with increasing interest and for the great feedback. I have been taking my time for the upcoming release, because I know it takes time and quietude to craft a good one. Today I'm proud to announce the third release of Outis Music; I have had the pleasure to collaborate with a old friend from Rome: Giorgio Gigli. From my personal point of view he has a really personal style in every track he produce, and I0m sure that this is why his music is worldwide recognized and played. What is somewhat unusual is the fact that despite we have been living in the same town, we never had the pleasure to collaborate on the same project; then, suddenly, due to a mixture of factors, we were able to find the right timing for working together to produce "Sons of Poseidons E.P."

Lennox´s "In the place" is a fun, smooth pumping track with a nice Rhodes-updated chord-Sound and a percussive drumming.The added atmosphere is pulling the through by voice. This is music like Lennox will also play in the club.

MAIK DELIGHT - INITATION

Maik´s fine track with a dominated chord and nice percussion-sound - This track is definitive for a good pre-set. The chordmelodics sounds very harmonic and warm.

Electric Avenue artist J Cub is at the helm for the third release from Saints & Sonnets, a label that continues to justify the widespread hype laid upon Huxley, the Deep House poster boy that runs it. Much like J Cub's previous work on Electric Avenue and Foot & Mouth, "Crying Over You" is a perfectly judged slice of deep house, with the gently rising emotive production made all the more memorable by a excellent vocal turn from Bibi. Saints & Sonnets also keep up their impressive track record for remix commissions as two of electronic music's best vowel eschewers contribute excellent and varied revisions. Rush Hour's BNJMN elects to dice up the vocal refrain as well adding some rhythmic kinks to the original's straightforward groove, yet it's the way he reinterprets the melodic element as a monstrous wave of synthetic emotion that makes this remix special. In contrast RNDM opts for the kind of stripped down groove you'd expect from a Laid artist, allowing him the space to loop up Bibi's vocal and treat it to all manner of delay atop an increasingly expansive melange of audio vibes

Gabriel le Mar dreht in seinem Rework von - On my way' einmal alles von rechts auf links und reicht den Tänzern die Zügel zu einem Freiritt auf der melodisch galoppierenden Bassline. Bei dem Ausritt guckt man gern, was noch so geht abseits der stoischen Taktgeraden.

At the end of 2006, Erol Alkan was at a crossroads. He'd been voted DJ of the year by Mixmag. He'dmade landmark, expectation-defying remixes for bands he loved: a crunching 'glam racket' reworking of 'Do You Want To' for Franz Ferdinand, a wonderfully wistful reinterpretation of Hop Chip's 'Boy From School', a psychedelic take on Scissor Sisters' 'I Don't Feel Like Dancing' and a genre-defining reworking of Justice's 'Waters Of Nazereth'. He was about to close Trash, the Monday night indie disco that had somehow morphed into the most adventurous, influential and glamorous club night in the world without changing its attitude, musical philosophy - or ever charging over six pounds on the door. Other triumphs lay a little further in the past. In 2006, he supported Daft Punk for their live return at Global Gathering at their own personal request. The year before, he did the same for Madonna at Koko in Camden with a DJ set which she used as an intro tape on her subsequent world tour. In 2002, he'd lent some muscle to another icon, creating the bootleg of 'Blue Monday' and 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' that Kylie performed at the Brits in 2002: the culmination of a craze for 'bastard pop' hybrids he'd been instrumental in creating alongside long-term kindred spirits Soulwax. Then there were his DJ sets at clubs and festivals around the world, in which Erol's unerring instinct for playing the right record at the right time brought hardened clubbers and alternative music obsessives together in abandoned celebration of brilliant music. Though he started DJing in dance clubs in earnest in 2001 after being invited to play at Bugged Out, Erol still considers himself an outsider in that scene. 'Unfortunately, I never had that seismic moment of hearing someone like Carl Craig DJ in '96' he says. 'I feel as passionately about the Manic Street Preachers as people in dance music do about Kraftwerk. That's where my DNA is different, which I'm really happy about, because that's t

Gigolo is thrilled to unveil "The Track", a definitively titled statement from Rampa & Re.You, made with a secret recipe set to sizzle, shuffle and stomp on a dancefloor near you. Since these two producers joined forces a couple years back, they've had a rich output of singles, creating immaculately produced tracks that still manage to retain an uncommon gritty personality. Their cuts are heard constantly in clubs around the world, whether in the sets of cutting-edge DJs or in the German duo's own live sets (most recently at Watergate, Berlin and this year's Sónar Festival). Aside from their work for Keinemusik (the label co-founded by Rampa) and Tiefschwarz's Souvenir label, they've maintained a strong relationship with Gigolo, starting with their 2011 single "Feet" and Rampa's fantastic remix for Hrdvsion.

Now, Rampa & Re.You return with "The Track", hand-crafted with a hearty bounce, then battered and deep-friend with crispy house beats. The real hook, though, is the insistent vocal chant that loops and layers upon itself like a deconstructed ode to hip-house, providing an anchor for the playful percussion to gallop around. Then, "To the Floor" continues with a similar sound palette, but with a groove influenced more by 80s electro, spattering haphazard beats in all directions with a mind-melting breakdown that drags the BPM down into the gutter. Finally, to round out the EP, Amsterdam's ONNO (of Upon.You Records) offers a schizoid, dubbed out remix of "The Track" that aims to pull all your multiple personalities onto the dancefloor.

An upbeat Jazz vibe is an accurate way to describe 'Just Onceí. Not too calm, but not too intrusive, the

Hamid's Jazz inspirations are clearly present in íRevolution Bayí, wether it be in the saucy percussion, or
the controlled chord play. The bassline sets a subtle-yet-sweet groove and the rest fall into line. A versatile
track for diverse purposes.

'Serenity Wickí plays with not only delayed keys, but interesting vocal cuts as well. Hamid displays his
mastery here, he plays with the highs and lows, all while capturing us with infectious percussion.

Constructed in the north of Holland, 'International Airlines' explores the artists concept of aircrafts through emotive soundscapes, brooding over an array of analytic drum programming. Each track levitates the listener to another atmosphere - never attached to geographical locations or time. Gravitating from beginning to end, 'International Airlines' displays the artists focus on his subject - an air flight through different colours of sound.

Frederik Eisink is a new alias name from Utrecht's electronic boy wonder Steve Mensink . His sound comes with some highly advanced production techniques and delivers a vibrant and very modern take on house music .

S. Elezi born in Skopje (F.Y.R Macedonia) now lives in Holland, his productions are very diverse and boost a wide selection of influences and styles, ranging from orchestral, dubby, house, techno and deep funk.

Mimique presents their No. 7. The new Vinyl contains 2 exotic tracks produced by Sebastian Phillip and Moritz Ochsenbauer, both part of the well known RabaukeN-Crew . Both guyz should be known from their releases on labels such as Great Stuff, Supdub, Shaker Plates, Blufin or Yellow Tail. Their impressions from a 3 week Thailand producing-, deejaying- and holiday trip were put together in a musical way and these were the main parts of the "Back From Thailand EP". Patrick Kunkel (Cocoon, weplayminimal) and David Jach (Keno Records, Mangue) gave their own touch into the remixes and not just that makes this release a dancefloorfiller.

Für diese EP taten sich Oliver Schories, anerkannter und extrem aufstrebender "Super Newcomer" und Holgi Star, Altrocker und gefühltes Technoinventar zusammen, um der Welt ihren Spaß an guter und gehaltvoller Techno Musik zu zeigen. Herausgekommen sind zwei schöne, treibende, emotionsgeladene, Tränen ins Auge drückende, einfach moderne Tech-House-Tracks, die ohne große Umschweife auf den Punkt kommen.Holgi legte mit seinem Buddy Pierre Deutschmann noch einen Remix auf, und als sich dann noch Julie* (der turnbeutel) entschloss mit einer gehörigen Portion Girlpower "Miss You" zu verdedeln, brachen endgültig alle Dämme [:-)]. Kurzum: Rauf' auf die Teller damit!

Die in Rumänien geborene und in Toronto aufgewachsene Berlinerin zählt nicht ohne Grund zu den am heißesten gehandelten neuen Artists im Elektronik-Biz. Kein Wunder, schließlich war sie bei Paul Kalkbrenners letzter Tour der Opening Act. Simina Grigoriu weiß, wie man eine Party rockt. "Mein Style ändert sich und ist einfach fetter geworden" meint Simina lächelnd, "ich merke das meine Technik sich verbessert, und mit jeder neuen Erfahrung in der Richtung kann ich mein Album mit ganz anderen Ohren hören." Dass zwischen Simina und ihrem zukünftigem Ehemann Paul Kalkbrenner eine Verbindung besteht, hört man eindeutig auch an ihren Produktionen: Etwas rougher und technoider als bei Paul Kalkbrenner entstanden auf technoider Basis echte Perlen aus Pop und Disco.

"So good" the main track of this release is a smooth opener with a huge guitar which is very catchy.
Doors clapping, woody sounds and noises here and there, the deep sounding baseline,
yes thats the typical sound of Esperanza
On the B-Side we have at first "Into the blue", a very sensitive and depth track.
The Zither who sets in of the middle in this song is the straight way to the heart.
Comes out from Danjel's inner side and touchs you very delicate
The second title on this side is "Shisha Train" the orient railway express with a more spiritual and hypnotic feeling.

Drauf & Dran ist kein Akt der den straighten coolen, meist langweiligen Superminimal Sound sucht oder fordert, sein Sound ist tanzbar, frech und manchmal volkstümlich aber dazu steht der Akt, man sollte die Produktionen mit einem leicht verschmitzten Augenzwinkern betrachten und mit Elise ist ihnen ein weiteres Stück unbeschwerter Techhouse gelungen der den Weg in viele elektronische Herzen finden wird : !!!
