Hanagasumi - hazy curtain of flowers, cherry blossoms appearing from afar like a white mist - this phenomenon can be seen during the sakura blossom in Japan.

Introducing the second Hanagasumi release from Shine Grooves. This time the release has a slightly different sound character. The first side is minimalist and abstract rhythms filled with twisty synth sequences, seasoned with house sauce and stringy keyboards.

The second side has an ambient mood. The first 2 tracks contain soft synth parts and melodies, which are supported by broken rhythms and magical percussion. The final track in the release is reminiscent of the minimal and glitch house of the early 2000s, which will allow you to immerse yourself in an atmosphere of serenity.

Getting straight back into the stride they hit on 'Different Strokes', the duo land a double whammy of deeply swung grooves laced with airy Detroit influences.

Laying down the law with "Straight to the Source", the pair conjure up a cheeky homage to the garage influenced sounds of the late 90's. Featuring a full level of bass in your face, jacking beats and super catchy off kilter stabs - there's no mistaking a groove like this... they really do mean business.

On the flip they revisit 'Hypnotonic.' The "West Side Shuffle" version is similarly sparse in feel to the original, yet strikes a fresh balance as less pervasive percussion bounces around to tight rhythmic bass end pulses, dubbed up vocals and subtle effected tweaks. Continuing to capture a less frenzied moment, this new take will certainly please the heads down massive.

Politics Of Dancing Records returns for it's 22nd release with Italian maestro St. David who delivers three solid House tracks, and is backed on the remix duty by Berlin's Deep House don, Diego Krause, who demonstrates yet again that he never failed to supply dance floor killers. His popping tech house and garage is catchy from the off where 'Who Am I' layers up nice cosmic pads and spaced out atmospheres while pounding drums make you move. 'Sunrise' is anot4her silky smooth and dynamic deep tech garage cut while 'Mima' has rubbery drums and bass that pull you deep down into a nice warm world of underground sound. 'Break 518' rides a rugged breakbeat that is kinetic and crisp, while snappy snares do a fine job of keeping you locked up top.

The latest labour of B.Love is here, oozing funky chops and grooves and bouncing rooms the world over.
