LYR002 'GDEP' sees Adam Stromstedt and Flord King split the credits with both producers getting one track on either side. A side 'SINBAD' by Adam Stromstedt is a 12 minute long piece that takes you through intertwining chord patterns and delay heavy percussions to create a multi layered low-end journey. B side 'Dapper' by Flord King is an already proven secret weapon of some of this scene's most influential DJ's. It kicks off from the first bar with minimal inspired percussion, dreamy chords and tight groove, a real cruiser.

After a terrific first release by AlleyOP aka Atree & Hagel, Tutto Bene welcomes Christopher Lawrenz for the imprint's second release. "Double Tree EP" features three original works by Christopher and a remix by seasoned veterans and Berlin underground sound wizards Foehn & Jerome. The result is a package of funk-infused dancefloor-ready tunes that nicely follow up Tutto Bene's debut while further expanding its vision.

Double Tree EP kicks off with "Double Tree" (A1), a minimal, groove-focused track laced with dub elements and a quirky tech-house edge. Shifting basslines, off-kilter percussion, and playful vocal samples create a lively vibe, perfect for peak-hour energy. Foehn & Jerome’s remix (A2) reimagines the track as a deep house groover, with smooth, sophisticated melodies layered over an understated bassline, adding both depth and elegance. On the B-side, "Tutto Bene" (B1) delves into more experimental territory with syncopated rhythms and robotic textures, combining off-beat percussion and modulated sounds for a distinctive, driving rhythm. Ruta5 announces “Labambola”, a collaboration between the label head Dandy Jack, Ramona Yacef Lescale Recordings and Ricardo Villalobos.

The project, born a few years ago in Switzerland, is now released in vinyl-only and dedicated to their children.

The release includes a Ricardo Villalobos remix and pays tribute to the history of the genuine techno, that never gets old.

Lyra is DeWaltas fourth large solo-project and third full-length solo-album following Wander in 2012 (on Haunt), llumination in 2014 (on Meander) and Dark Matter in 2017 (on Amphia) besides - Residual' a collaboration-album with Mike Shannon.

The album consists of two individually available parts: a double LP (Lyra) with 6 tracks on Meander as well as a single LP (Lyra Pi) with 5 synth and ambient works. The Ambient-Part launches a new Meander Horizon Pi series-- a departure from Meander's well known dancefloor releases.

Lyra is by far DeWaltas most extensive and refined project to date. With 11 exclusive songs, a total running time of over 100 minutes - plus a collaboration with long time friend and Meander co-owner Fabian Geimer-Lorusso aka. Jupiter - it marks a new beginning of ambient and score-like modern electronic music works as well as the continuation of his inspired intellectual-emotional approach to dance music.

Lyra is a star-constellation in the northern hemisphere which is highest in the midnight sky in the early summer months. It contains one of the brightest stars in the sky - Vega. Many of the songs on this album were produced in these warm and gentle months during an inspirational creative time in Portugal.

In Greek mythology, Lyra represents the Lyre of Orpheus, Apollo's son. Made by Hermes from a tortoise-shell, it was given to Apollo who then passed it along to Orpheus. It is said to be the first music instrument ever made

Magnetic is a project which has been build on the principles & awareness of environment design and its importance. Every moment in our lives is influenced by the environment we are immersed in and music plays a huge part in this concept.

Debt is a new album by Harvey Sutherland about the cost of doing business in the meme economy. In his first LP since the 2022 debut, Boy, the Australian artist reduces his fusiony disco repertoire to ten microhoused funk essentials. This is minimalism not so much as aesthetic conceit than pressurised container, shaken in the Escherised time and space unique to our overdriven, red-lining present. The album's title nods to the financial contortions necessary to strive/survive/thrive as an independent artist. But Debt is better understood as the ledger of what we owe, and to whom, in the course of a creative life. What's the ROI on being an artist, a son, a friend, a partner, a father? Have we been worth our loved ones' own investments? If that sounds transactional, this is merely the lingua franca of our overwhelmingly digital culture, a grifter's bazaar in which Bob Dylan tunes up over Salt Bae, and Wordsworth's pitch is opposite the Rizzler.

Debt came to life when Harvey Sutherland acquired a freightload of Y2K minimal cargo from Akufen, Ricardo and Baby Ford—courtesy of local Melbourne hero Martin L—which bent the album towards a moreish pointillism. The resulting music's eyes-down minimal gestures within expressive pop shapes feels apt for the apparently contradictory things we can't help craving: immediacy and craft, on-tap "authenticity," life lessons drawn from Reel nonsense. A few years after the "neurotic funk" of Boy, a thorough excavation of interiority that comprised Harvey Sutherland's first LP proper, Debt is his to-the-point response to pressures that manifest outside the self. But in its own way it remains a reflection of Harvey Sutherland's musical innerscapes, which stretch across the grit and glitter of private-press disco and the sensual grids of Metro Area.

At long last Josh’s collaboration with longtime friend Bontan sees a vinyl release. ‘Call You Back’ has become a modern classic and has been on rotation by some of the world's biggest DJs from Martinez Brothers to Four Tet since its release in 2017.

The purpose of DM001 was to create a versatile compilation of tracks with the idea of exploring the limitless boundaries of electronic music. For the labels first release it was fortunate enough to work with an array of talented producers from all over the world. Each of which has their own defining sound. DM001 is a non profit release, both vinyl and digital, with the digital release containing more tracks. All profit's made from this release will be donated to the International Rescue Committee in efforts to aid Syrian refugee's.

DM002 showcases 5 dance floor cuts from Keita Sano, Lucretio, Alter-D, Bioroot, and Asymmetrical. This EP was inspired by the video games Jet Set Radio and JSRF. Some of the soundtracks for JSR and JSRF were produced by the Latch Brothers (including Mike D from the Beastie Boys), and features tracks from other great musicians such as Cibo Matto.The artwork of this release captures the essence of the video game and the EP within. Hazy nights out in the capital, neon lights, high rises and 4:00 am eats .

Micronica Records is bringing top quality music to vinyl lovers by dropping their second vinyl from Micronica Limited vinyl-only series. This time it is a collection of 4 tracks by Costin Rp and Yansima on side A and Venda and D I N & ckb on side B. Each track stands on its own but also works together to create a complete and dynamic package.

Joining our label for the 4th release are Dan Andrei and Kozo, under their collaboration named AK41, a fructuous project that offers three highly complex tracks. On the A side you can find "Icebreaker" solely, an eccentric sound with a steady bassline, percussive kicks, tripping shakers and a thoughtful, mysterious melody that touches all the frequencies of your body. Turning to the B side we find "Swingenious", a groovier interpretation produced by a combination of spacey feelings and sophisticated instruments that will move every bone on the dancefloor. Closing the EP is "In Memoriam", a melancholic version that is not short of an aggressive bassline, ambiguous vocals and deep introspects, all aligned to disconnect you from the reality of routine.

Amadou Kuyateh is hailing from Frankfurt am Main and we are happy to welcome him aboard for our label. This record is his first release ever and it reflects his talent in a good way. Three lasting tracks, with different moods, but all of them with a lot of personality and we recommend to keep an eye on this young man, as for sure there will be more stuff coming from him in the near future.

Lovely The Mole debut on Meander. Sun-infused, jacking and swinging house cuts with a very intuitive flow. In the past few years the Canadian born, Berlin based producer released a string of exceptional releases for labels like Slices Of Life, Perlon, Musique Risquee, Wagon Repair and his own Maybe Tomorrow. Includes a remix from Romanian genre-bending project Amorf (Vlad Caia, Mischa Blanos and Cristi Cons). In 2017 Amorf released their acclaimed debut album on Understand, the label from Cezar Lazar.

“Okie Dokie It´s The Orb On Kompakt“ is already the 13th album of one of Britian's most prized cult bands. We feel it's better that way, because the music of The Orb only has an intensive effect when taken in as a long playing full length. And it proves with this lovingly conjured collection of songs brought together like a collage. The first half of Okie Dokie showcase The Orb´s love for minimal Techno and Schaffel/Shuffle as it is so obviously present in the foreground, while the second half is only reserved to the classic Orb-ish ancestral domain. There are wonderful guest appearances by Schneider TM and Kompakt´s ambient-guru Ulf Lohmann. As many of you know, there is so much history about The Orb you could write a book. Since Jimmy Cauty and Alex Paterson, in the flush of euphoria invented Chill Out and Ambient House in the first summer of love 1988, an incredible amount of things have occurred. The following timeline should give you a rough idea. - Alex Paterson gives up his job as roadie for Killing Joke. - “A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld” is not only the record with the longest title of the world, but it also marks the departure into the new sonic worlds of post-Rave Ambient. - While Cauty goes different ways with The KLF, The Orb re-form themselves and have a big hit with Little Fluffy Clouds in 1990. - The debut album “The Orb´s Adventures Beyond The Ultraworld“ hits the Top 30 in England. - The Orb produce “Higher Than the Sun“ for Primal Scream. - The Orb perform “Blue Room“ as chess-playing aliens at Top Of The Pops. Everything goes. - “Blue Room“ clocking in at 39:58 minutes goes into music-history as the longest time for a chart single ever. - The Orb achieve great success in Glastonbury '92 + '93. - The Copenhagen double concert “to the sunrise and sunset” is eternalized on record: “Live 93“ - Previously a floating member of The Orb, Thomas Felmann becomes a fix member in 1997 - No joke: Robbie Williams takes part of The Orb for a short time. To mark the 50th release on Brouqade, we reach back into the catalog and release as a set of remixes Arno's album “We Perfectly Understand Each Other Until We Start To Talk” a work that touches on the finer problems inherent to human communication.For this unique Album, released in 2019, three distinctive reworkings offer new breath to the original tracks: Baby Ford conducts a lean and hypnotic revision played in minimal fashion, Kuyateh widens out textures with deep organic rhythms and Dana Ruh puts her distinctive groove-orientated stamp on the material.

The bonus on the release is from Arno — a meditative composition that acts as middle ground in terms of his musical language.

In operation midway between introspection and movement, BQD050 depicts the very spirit of Brouqade: depth, warmth, a timeless dancefloor poetry.

Memoria Recordings warmly welcomes Costin RP. After his amazing releases over the past few years, this artist doesn't require an introduction.

The title track of the EP is called "Astro". As you expect from Memoria, very melodic and warm sound combined with perfectly shaped drums.

It s been 7 years since I introduced the first part of this series -Mis Hermanos Rumanos- with Sepp and later (Part 2) with Faster and Nu Zau. Seven years later the saga of Romanian brothers grows and continues, it is a pleasure to be able to bring together two good friends and talented artists from the great and already proliferating minimal scene of this country. In this third part we can find a darker and percussive sound, acoustic string instruments and at the same time maintaining the minimalist essence that characterizes Acmé. On the streets of Berlin, it's easy to spot people who know their electronic music. You'll see curious partygoers as well as picky listeners whose appreciation isn't easy to win. Tonight, both crowds are heading to the presentation of Daniel Gardner's record. A cult album that was revived thanks to a fresh concept and a remaster. By evening, Jonny Knuppel was packed. Among the guests - a flamboyant duo that couldn't go unnoticed. Some swayed to rhythms that felt like old friends, while others - luckier ones, perhaps - were discovering an entire world for the first time. A noughties classic, an earworming anthem, an eventual schoolyard ringtone favourite; Roman Flügel’s once inescapable ‘Geht’s Noch?’ celebrates turning 21 on Running Back, refreshed and remixed by a scene-spanning set of artists paying keen tribute to its absurdist energy.
Casually released as part of a Cocoon Records compilation in 2004, ‘Geht’s Noch?’ rose from the depths with the support of Sven Väth, becoming an international phenomenon, conquering and uniting the dominant scenes of minimal and electroclash alike. Some have said it laid the foundations for the ‘Dirty Dutch’
house scene, albeit from over the border in Germany.
Well known for injecting much-needed levity into the contemporary club landscape via her Live From Earth parties, DJ Gigola adds additional firepower to ‘Geht’s Noch?’, inducing a planet-shaking kick drum, before sending the track’s signature bleeps into nonsensical Morse code for even greater pleasure. Another rave
culture connoisseur, Luca Lozano, offers two alternate takes; his ‘Technocs’ mix rolls deep with additional cowbells, robotic voice commands and stadium-sized claps. Meanwhile, the ‘Gehts Garage Remix’ draws a savvy connection with the original’s as-yet-untapped UK funky potential.
Peder Mannerfelt, who straddles the line between innovation, functionality, humor and seriousness quite like its original author, takes ‘Geht’s Noch?’ to truly wuthering heights. His remix builds unexpected drama and catharsis around the enduring riff, before a collaboration with studio partner Par Grindvik as Aasthma
spins the club out with a glossy, anime-tinted take, full of whimsy and colour.
And while the digital release of Geht’s Noch? also spans interpretations from Audion, Domnik Eulberg & Moguai, this vinyl release presses Steve Angello vs Who’s Who remix to wax, that which helped take ‘Geht’s Noch?’ out of the underground and into the stratosphere. Twenty years on, and Flügel’s offbeat hit is always ascending. Love it or hate it, ‘Geht’s Noch?' will still get you good.

Echocord welcomes the return of STL this May with the ‘Take Off Music’ EP, comprised of three murky, dubbed out cuts from the acclaimed German producer. Stephan Laubner, better known as STL has long been one of the most respected producers in the underground electronic music scene. Racking up releases on the likes of Smallville, Perlon, Echospace Detroit, his own Something and of course Echocord where he returns here. ‘Fluxxy’ leads on the package, embracing STL’s signature style via, dusty analogue drums, choppy dub stabs, penetrating low end flutters and airy atmospherics before ‘Dub Plus’ lays focus on a stripped-back, perfectly balanced drum groove, hazy field recordings and bubbling chord delays and bell chime synths. ‘Magic Thing’ then rounds out the release, fusing fm synth melodies and gritty bass stab sequences with thunderous subs and Laubner’s robust rhythmic style. Once again STL delivers a touch of class with a contemporary Dub Techno style for Echocord.

Mihai Popoviciu, one of the most esteemed names in the deep house and minimal scene, is set to unveil his anticipated new album, ‘Puzzle Box’, on Bondage Music. As one of the label’s core artists, Popoviciu returns for his second full-length album release on the imprint following his successful 2016 album, ‘Home’ - available on vinyl from 15th November 2024.

With a career spanning over a decade and with releases on numerous influential labels such as 8Bit to Berg Audio, Popoviciu has firmly established himself as a go-to within the minimal-leaning realms of house music. First release from the Portuguese vinyl only label, Dreams Come True. Born from the childhood dream of his mentor Ostinato, DCT aim to reflect his passion for vinyl records and electronic music. For this first release, nothing better than bring together friendship, passion and talent. In the last couple of years Floog and Ostinato became close friends and crafted this release togheter.

The original tracks from Floog reflect all his versatility fusing minimal with some spicy and tasty vocals, following a different path of the classic rominimal sound. The remixes are the reflection of the label owners personal taste.

Antraum (Traumer and Anton) did a huge remix with an infectious groove, a huge bassline, and certain sound complexity that makes you dance from the first to the last beat. Ted Amber its for sure one of the bastions of the classical Rominimal sound. This remix shows all his talent to build unique vibes in each release he does. Second release of the Ukrainian-based label Detali introduces a four-tracker from sonic boss Shjva – a good old friend of the local community and an established driver of the Warsaw electronic scene. Known for a trippy yet groovy sound, this time Shjva delivers a tight pack of tracks showcasing different edges of her production palette.

“Constellation” opens the record with a dreamy push, referencing a bit of a cosmic-journey attitude layered with committed sequences. “Unbounded Joy” follows with a minimal, slow-cooking bassline that gradually builds hypnotic intensity. “Way Too Dark” snaps with a proper snare and moody vibe – true afterhours tone-setter. “Explorer” wraps the record with an immersive, trancey tone, layering textures, pads, and progressive sequences into a trip-building piece.

Originally released in 2011 during the second big coming of deep house, Maya Jane Coles' 'Focus Now' EP returns as part of 20/20 Vision's Full Circle 30th Anniversary series. It's been out of print for years and harks back to a very different sound from Coles, who has since spread her sonic wings into many different worlds. This reissue features all three original tracks, starting with 'Focus Now,' a soft focus and bubbly blend of pulsing synths and rubbery drums, 'Little One' which was something of a warehouse classic of its time, and 'Senseless' with Coles' own vocals and slow motion drum churn. Alongside those is 'The High Life', another syrupy and warm blend of smooth drums and aching vocal hooks that, like the rest of the cuts, is freshly remastered.

Over the decades, the image of Kompakt as a pirate ship has taken root in our minds, braving the dangers of the seven seas of the music market. Sometimes it glides with a tailwind through calm waters, sometimes it has to survive violent storms. When we set sail in 1993, we never would have dreamt that our journey would still be going on after more than three decades and with 500 releases to date.

In our fast-paced business, the 500 mark is rarely reached, so we want to celebrate it with a lavish 5LP box set. In a democratic process, we have selected 50 pearls from the thousands of tracks released over the last 33 1/3 years and pressed them onto 5 brightly coloured vinyls. Alongside many Kompakt evergreens, there are also some real rarities from the early ‘Kompakt Sound of Cologne’, which have been lovingly remastered here to shine in new splendour.

The box also contains a 144-page book that tells the story of Kompakt from 1993 to today with detailed texts and images. In addition to the manifold musical and graphic achievements of Kompakt, the multidisciplinary links to the visual arts are also highlighted here.

The Bonus Picture Disc opens with the symbolic tolling of 500 bass drums, followed by 50 locked grooves from the 5 Kompakt founders, looping into infinity at 133 1/3 BPM, and the ‘33 1/3 Years Loop Opera’ – in which the loops are combined into one track that, in its reduced essence, is more than the sum of its individual parts. The magic of groovy loop minimalism and the ‘art of omission’ are once again brought to the proverbial point.

On 23 May 2025, the big KOMPAKT 500 art exhibition will open at the venerable Kölnischer Kunstverein to coincide with the release. The entire visual cosmos of Kompakt will be shown here in an unprecedented way on three floors, with the participation of many renowned artists. Of course, there will also be dancing and partying at the vernissage party, with DJ sets and live shows by the Kompakt Allstars.

The Tel Aviv-born and now Berlin-based Dj & producer Roy Brizman is next on the ever respectable Subtil Records. He delivers two remarkable original cuts, accompanied by a lush remix from the talented Christopher Ledger.

First up is "At The End" wich reflects perfectly Brizman´s moody gentle side, a journey of sounds and beats - super unique.

On A2 "The Swing", a rolling little groove monster that will surely do the magic on any dancefloor.

Christopher Ledger keeps the original low slung minimal house vibes of "At The End" and goes deeper into broken beats with a brilliant remix.

Chad Andrew makes his return on Personality Disorder Music, delivering a set of four vibrant tracks, accompanied by two fantastic remixes by Kolter.

The EP is a blend of infectious minimal house beats, rolling basslines, and captivating rhythms. Kolter's remixes of the standout track "Invisible Pass" inject a burst of fresh energy with lively breakbeats and an irresistible swinging groove.

Two legends we have on this next majestic cut of magical sorcery; a Brit wizard and a German magician, the result is a masterpiece.

The Franco-Russian Duo Doubtingthomas & Wyro is teaming up with the infamous Berlin-based Subtil Records. For their 21st release, the label presents a very special EP mixing stratospheric sound design, insane monitoring pressure, and uprights motions composed in the most elegant ways by these two talented producers.
