Some try it with mouth-to-mouth insufflation and cardiac massage. Others with
psychopharmaceuticals or group therapy. Still others with divorce. By going cold turkey. With a new profile pic and a matching hairstyle. Seen it all at Robert Johnson, already endorsed everything - at least as long as it helps: as a lifesaving measure.
But since the year dot, the Offenbach-based club with its affiliated label recommends to all which are undecided or have doubts particularly one thing: Music. And dance.
Every two years, when life newly blossoms during spring, Live At Robert Johnson opens its windows widely, lets new music out and fresh air into the house. The beguiling scent of nature and aviation fuel blends with the scent of sweat and dry ice fog - and causes sundry healing confusion. As soon as the first tone of the Lifesaver Compilation 3 is heard, the swelling grunt of Vincent Feit's 'X04', the scenery of the dancefloor right at the Main river appears before one's eyes.
On Saint Monday Iconoclasts rebel against the age of self-optimization. A crack goes through the parquet of the dance floor (or the dancing party itself). The post-unambiguities era is beginning. The images become blurred. Bass case. Alternative facts. Resonance hole. No reception. And then it's only the queue answering the club emergency hotline. Finally there is a buzz on the line. 'Just drop the images!', it says.

'It's all not that tragic.' This helps.
The Lifesaver 3 Compilation, the yet most comprehensive package of the lifesaver history, sounds like electro, sharp-edged like the vault in a Hague bunker (Lauer), provides data pop with piano crescendo (Fort Romeau), brings the style characteristics of German Schlager music to the breakdance mat (Rolande Garros), lets the bulky lily-of-the-valley bells clang and sends the reverb tails away with the wind (Benedikt Frey). In spring of 2012 Niederflur will add their latest statement to contemporary electronic music with another classic
album format on Snork Enterprises called "Wellenreiter". Here you find a collection of nine tracks ranging from
deep to driving. The title of the record means surfer in literal translation but what is expressed is something
Niederflur have always been doing: riding their own wave and bending genre-sounds as far as possible. On this
album you will find pieces of experimental breaks and lush ambient right next to straight Techno.
The Album comes in three different configurations: 12" vinyl including four for vinyl selected tracks, via download
and a live mix CD which contains new versions of all album tracks plus the three tracks of the 2011 release
"Teleservice EP" performed live by the artists.
So with each of these two releases Niederflur deliver their unique declaration of modern electronic dance music.

The Atlanta label WaxAtlast makes their debut release, ATLAS001, a beautifully twisted V/A to set the tone for the rest of the year. The stunning ink splatter disc takes its passengers through a gradient of various cosmic soundscapes. It moves subtly, yet hypnotic, creating atmospheric mysteries with an expressive, forward-thinking story. This V/A proves to be a useful vessel for various types of destinations on any dance-floor.

Completing a quick fire trio of new EPs, Constant Sound hits release number six with a pair of new tracks from VRSION that come with a dance floor friendly remix from Persuader. VRSION is a German producer who has already made a big impact with his release on Craig Richards' excellent The Nothing Special label. Following up that in fine style is the opener here, 'Torn', which is a hurried and urgent track that sits on the divide between house and techno. It is driven and slick, rubbery and hypnotic but has plenty of nuance and funk in its well programmed drums. Some occult sounds and wordless vocals embellished the whole thing and it really is the sort of track that blows dance floors apart and will stand out in any set. 'Capricorn Meet Leo' then toys with kinked drum patterns, rattling percussion and fathom deep bass that sucks you right into VRSION's world. It's a restless place where harmonies ride up and down the scale, cause claps come at you from odd angles and dark vocals add a sense of paranoia. Remixing this one is Persuader, who does so with a stripped back sense of restrain. he retains the original's weirdness, but layers in serene pads and tripped out atmospherics that really make it ripe for playing at 4am. This is the most adventurous release yet for Constant Sound, and is sure to prove one of its bets as a result.

In the past three years since Insides, Michael Greene's breakout LP on Ghostly International as Fort Romeau, the British producer has toured the world many times over and recorded for labels such as Running Back, Live At Robert Johnson, and his own Cin Cin imprint.

Coming off the acclaim of "Pablo" — designated by Pitchfork as 'Best New Music' and a candidate for the song of summer 2018 — Greene drops a three tracker for Ghostly's Spectral Sound imprint that finds him in fine form.

'Untitled III' pulses out from the onset, riding a serpentine melodic line into a haze of impressionistic house before its final demystified minute. The drama swells in the back half while never losing its resolute calm. 'Organelle' slows the pace with twilight stabs and warm subs in check, claves echoing down the hall. 'Empire' revs the tempo back up, all twinkling synths and gnarled bass, the cerebral, celestial sequence starts off as a night drive and ends well above the road. A fitting close to a stately return to the fold.

What a year 2014 was for us as a label. Starting with the release of my Lifer Concluded EP, featuring incredible producers Addison Groove, Fur Coat, Livio & Roby and Maetrik. Later in the year we went on to release one of the most explorable and rewarding projects we have been involved in as a label; Wolfgang Haffner 'The Remixes'. A 6 track EP with some of the biggest names in electronic music, Ricardo Villalobos, Nightmares On Wax, Acid Mondays, Max Loderbauer and myself. With the success of 'The Remixes' we knew we would have to release another strong EP to follow. Myself and Rockets & Ponies are proud to bring you our rst release of 2015: Acid Mondays, 'Chi Ka Pasa'.


Acid Mondays join us again for a vinyl and digital release, an EP packed full with their unique musical experimentation and daring productions which has seen them release on infamous labels such as 2020Vision, Circus and most recently in 2015 One Records with their 'Schlurptastic' EP. At R&P we think of ourselves as a platform for artists and producers to ask questions and push the boundaries of electronic music, Acid Mondays are the perfect example of this. Acid Mondays original track 'Chi Ka Pasa' as well as their '5D Mix' & 'Dub Mix' of the original track shows their impeccable production control. Rolling bongos are set against loose shimmers and rattles which are sporadically interrupted by short sharp keys and haunting, whispering vocals that we hear throughout the EP. One thing I love about these tracks is they are so versatile, I can see them being played around the world at various venues by different artists and I am really looking forward to dropping them on the terrace at DC10 this summer.


Joining Acid Mondays on 'Chi Ka Pasa,' with two reworks, is the highly talented (and Toi Toi favourite), Ion Ludwig. With releases on Lick My Deck, Meandar Music and Trelik Ion has proved his ability time and time again. His two mix's of Acid Mondays original track 'Chi Ka Pasa' bring new meanings and a new story to the tracks. His 'Progmix II', which will only be released on vinyl, brings a more direct and percussive element to the track, whilst his digital 'Progmantra Mix' creates a hazy atmospheric essence. The addition of distant sirens and a grooving bubbling bassline allow our minds and bodies to move, whilst still controlled by vocals and mystery.


The balance of Acid Mondays and Ion Ludwig is one of delicate, intricate productions with exciting experimentation and musical evolution. The forward thinking aspects on this EP are in line with both my own and Rockets & Ponies style, ambition and creativity. Listen to it, see if we are wrong!

All 3 tracks have a very distinctive drums programming and groovy bass. They could be easily played in a big club during the peak time of a set or at a dark basement during the after hours. They have this strange deepness that calms you down but at the same time the first kick after the break easily gets your fist up.

Sable Sheep has fast become one of Moon Harbour's most integral family members thanks to his fresh tech house
perspective. Here he returns with another hot new EP that also features a vinyl re-release of 'Upon Burning Skies',
which proved to be something of a hit on dancefloors across the world this summer gone. Buyers of a digital
persuasion will also be treated to a Dan Drastic remix of Sable Sheep & Fosky's 'Barricades Of Nowhere.'

Despite being on a constant and busy tour of top clubs and festivals across Europe, German Sable Sheep has still
managed to come up with the goods. On 'Cargo Room', a jostling, loopy bit of slinky tech house with warm paddy
kick drums and a sensually teasing vocal snippet that stretches between the beats. The poly-rhythmic effect is
hugely infectious before 'The Forgotten Ones' goes for a much creepier, weirder vibe. This one is all suggestive and
shadowy, with occult synth dots and alien life forms all existing above a beautifully elastic bassline. It breaks and
kicks again at various points and it's sure to have attentive dancefloors in raptures, locked on to every rotation.

'Barricades Of Nowhere' is a collab with rising Argentinian Fosky, who has released on Crosstown and Desolat
before now. This one spits out metal snares, has an urgent alarm-like hook and picks up the pace with its bouncy
techno leaning beats and big hi hat ringlets. Physical but warm and organic it's perfect dancing music before the re-
release of last track 'Upon Burning Skies' - the hard hitting anthem complete with dark but soulful African
murmurings that has made Sable Sheep such a recognised producer the world over.

Closing out another EP that exactly hits the mark and displays Sable Sheep's usual sense of charismatic sampling,
long time label stalwart Dan Drastic re-imagines 'Barricades Of Nowhere' as a spangled, synthetic bit of supple
techno that's loose and rubbery and will have you shaking your limbs like you just don't care.

Introducing Basic Vision, a new imprint releasing a vinyl series of rare classics from the legendary back to basics club. Selected and compiled by the man who played the first ever record at the club, original resident DJ Ralph Lawson. Basic Vision 001 features one of the greatest ever house music records - Lil Louis & The World's 'I Called You (The Story Continues), still a firm favourite of Ricardo Villalobos. The flip side boasts perhaps the most rare cut, first championed by DJ Harvey and still highly sought after today, M-I-Cara's 'Casa Beat'. Cut and mastered between the two producers they have executed every level of production for this double pack vinyl release.
Asking for Trouble is Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man's) recently birthed label and home to the emissions from his studio and treasured time spent with producer friends. Suade Bergemann is a Newcastle-based producer, mastering engineer and founder of Techno label Adapted Vinyl. He collaborates with Steve Legget and is a resident at Free Rotation.

Launch of their self-production label, the trio DRMC formed by Monkey Coops & Only Slave Nation, released this first opus produced on a complete rhythmic basis accompanied by acid atmospheres. Remixed by Reda Dare, spearhead of this new French house scene, this 1st opus clearly sounds like a bomb of the dancefloors. Rolling bass, prominent percussion and hypnotic atmosphere will perfectly sum up the 1st EP of the label Def Raw Music Concept.

Following up the Entity crew's first release comes another residents EP, with two tracks from Shai Spooner + Jordan Dessar and a stellar remix from Mannheim's finest, Fabe.

Staying true to their London-centric sound, tracks "Balanced Diversity" and "Soul Dub" are peppered with references to UK Garage, Breakbeat and House, further helping the young label establish their soundscape.

The release is topped off by Fabe's remix of "Balanced Diversity", a rocket of a track primed for the dancefloor and set to be an anthem. The perfect icing on the cake for this second, really strong release from Entity.

we are very much excited to support this re-issue, credited by jacob f. desvarieux, a composer and also well known as the guitarist of kassav - the only-one band which continually embodies the word 'zouk" for last few decades.
a1 is the tune showing us psychedelic guitar phrases fused together with wobbling heavy synthesizer. you'd better hurry to get the copy for this song, since this is just simply a killer. besides it, a2 is also a tropical danceable tune with moving bass and impressive vocoder chorus, makes everyone literally "emotional" on the floor.
kuniyuki joins with more deep spacey re-edit on the b side, probably we need few words to describe this man in our bio because of his right craftsmanship.

Finally a new sampler on Siena.! This time on 3.0 a broad range of sounds from Funk to Techno. The A-side starts with a smooth summer jam by Griffy Hildalgo. Perfect to start a roadtrip! Tetelepta & Gerressen teamed up to fill out the A2 with their raw sampling house joint.

For the techno heads among us, yes, the B sides delivered it. B1 start with Bas Amro with his emotional melodies and deep grooves. The closing track for this EP is by Ben Buitendijk, who delivered a true masterpiece 'Detroit Techno Lovers' don't miss it!

Three new members of the Fantastic Friends family Matheiu, Goncharov and Balinsky have joined forces to deliver two gems. These two tracks with shades of minimal techno will delight most DJs looking for efficiency on the dancefloor. Enjoy without moderation!

11 years of remix-less label history are coming to an end with stunning, magnificent, driving and masterful re-interpretations by some of our favourite producers. on double 12 inch. skilfully mastered and cut by schnittstelle, antistatic inner sleeves and shrink wrapped, all the way like the iconic original.

Mineral is a vinyl-only label born out of a long-lasting friendship and a mutually obsessive infatuation with records. The label is geared towards providing a platform for up-and-coming producers, showcasing intriguing and evocative electronic music ready to stand the test of time.

Jelly Beast Recordings presents their third vinyl release. This time a massive EP from Silat Beksi alongside a Daniel Sanchez remix. Both artist don't need any introduction, they deliver the best quality minimalistic techno for years on end!

Limited to 200 copies, this release is the second of the 5 12" from the Thomas Brinkmann Retrospektiv 5xlp box set. The 5 individual 12" will be released through 2018/19. Thomas Brinkmann is one of the great producers of Techno music and modern dance music. He initially gained notoriety in the experimental electronic music and Techno community for his full-length 'variations' of material by Wolfgang Voigt under his Mike Ink moniker, and Richie Hawtin. The variations were made by playback of the original artist records on a turntable of Brinkmann's design, which has two tone arms with separate outputs for left and right channels. The turntables were then pitched down from 33rpm to 27rpm and the results recorded and mixed. Both Voigt and Hawtin were sufficiently impressed they released the results on their own labels. Since then Thomas Brinkmann has produced some all-time classic dance tracks, many of which are collected here in what is a personal selection by Thomas Brinkmann himself. There are unreleased tracks, different versions, and tracks that have never been released on vinyl.

Disco Tools 18 Moods is the first ep of Sampling Moods Records Label. In this first release Eddie lays down the defining ingredients of his label: disco-funk samples, distinct rhythms and recordings on tape. Assisted by his mentors Eddie sets out to make his mad passion for Classic Garage amalgamate with a galvanising rhythmic construction, which is raw and rough. Norwegian duo Ost & Kjex have gone a long way: From their debut album 'Some But Not All Cheese Comes From The Moon' (2004), over their much acclaimed spicy second long player 'Cajun Lunch' (Diynamic 2008) and many collaborations with high-flyers such as Solomun ('Federgewicht'), Jamie Jones ('Summer Time') or H.O.S.H. ('Woo Hoo'), they have grown to become one of the few acts that perfectly bridges the gap between Underground Electronic music and Indie Pop Music.

In the blessed summer of 2008 the boys stumbled upon Solomun, the head honcho of Diynamic. A chance meeting resulting in a collaboration track called "Federgewicht", which was their entrance to his highly acclaimed record label.
Hailing from quiet Oslo, there is much time on hand to invest into the more important things in life: Making babies and making music. After about five years since their last album release, lots of touring and working on their signature sound, the two Norsemen decided it was time for another album.

'Freedom Wig' is the title, and it can mean many things: A name for the room you escape into when you listen to music. A metaphor for the sometimes false freedom we feel when we live our quite predictable and structured lives. Or simply a party hat you put on.

The album is laced with contributions by their contemporaries. Anne Lise Frøkedal, Hanne Kolstø, Jens Carelius and Jaw of dOP fame donates their wonderful and distinct voices to the album. Jazz legend Bugge Wesseltoft adds keys and modern composer Ole-Henrik Moe string arrangements. The Traces Gospel Choir brings a touch of Harlem to the ballpark, Nasra Ali Omar marimba, Tore Brevik percussion and Arild Hammerø guitars. All adding their flavour to an album that is rich on tradition but still distinctly modern.

How does Ost & Kjex sound like From the jazzy intro of 'Honky Tonk', over the must-dance bassline of 'ChaChaCha', the tropical wooden xylophone sound of 'Down River' to the almost spiritual hums of 'Easy', this album brings such rich detail that it demands multiple listens to discover all facets of its composition. Versatility is the predominant feature of this album, which mixes Ost & Kjex's soulful vocals with upbeat Electronica sound.
