William has been an intriguing presence in Sydney's music scene for over ten years, performing and releasing under several monikers including most recently, T.Morimoto. As a producer and teacher he has inspired the work of artists such as Seekae, Cliques and Cassius Select. His EP Annum Contra is a diverse collection of percussive approaches and rhythmic studies that sees William moving in a dance floor friendly direction - whilst maintaining the idiosyncratic style he is known for. Annum Contra also features a handful of guests including Lamtech9 and Kid Kairo. Both regularly attend Lion Mountain Studio, a community recording space for young people from Sydney's Sierra Leonian community where William volunteers. Chun Yin (aka Rainbow Chan) also makes an appearance providing her vocal touches. The first track, Tuition", reflects William's interest in stretching clichés and testing aesthetic standards: I like the idea of building something around a really stock emotional fragment - how far can you go with just a minor triad, or a straight arpeggio, or a few tuned drum sounds Can you undercut and reclaim musical clichés' Busss' is a percussive jam built around Lamtech9's entirely improvised verse. Rue Vavin' is an intense polyrhythmic experiment drawing on footwork kick patterns and live percussion all recorded in William's studio. Sleepwalk' is an expansive and driving four-to-the-floor tune. Plastic World is excited to present Annum Contra to DJs and listeners alike.

A small studio visit in Dresden expanded to a studio session and from a studio session they
developed two tracks. Mariano and Daniel published one of it, a timeless, spherical one, on
this 'Everlasting Treasuries 5' EP on vekton black. On the B-side of the record Maki and
Lorenzo present their vekton black debut with a trippy, minimal and very creative track. Call it
modern house whatever ...

Part Time Dreamers (SSBS001) is the first release on separate skills black series and comes with three excellent tracks. The A Side starts with a dubby sounding offbeat part before the kicks come in with exceptional metallic chords combined with some very nice 707 rimshots. The first track on the flipside has beautiful themes, raw toms and a subtle acid sounding line. A harmonicaly inter -pretation with sough and windy sounds, great deepness and perfect hi-hat settings are given at the last track on that side. A varied record with emotional, timeless and driving soundscapes.

After big releases from Lyssna's own Adam Stromstedt and Flord King, the Stockholm based imprint are proud to give you their first VA compilation: ZNA001. This time around they are showcasing some of their favourite artists. A-side kicks off with lekker Dutch producer Levi Verspeek, who has had numerous critically acclaimed releases on labels such as Apollonia, Raum Musik and RUIS, just to name a few. His track '256' takes you on a deep dancing journey.

It has a certain attitude about it that coupled with a rolling bass line carries you through to the end, creating the perfect vibe for the dance floor. A2 gives you newcomer Peshka from Ukraine. With his unique sound, his track 'Miracle' is a sophisticated and delicate minimal masterpiece, with strange vocal samples that make it perfect for those early morning sets. On the flip side, Lyssna hands the reigns back to their own heroes. B1 'Steff Off' by Flord King gives you a mellow and housy ride with dreamy chords and a jazzy bass line that pays homage to his musical background. With B2 'HM 2016', Adam Stromstedt makes sure his hypnotic sounds are being heard. Fine violins, breaking glass and his signature sampling methods make for a heady musical trip into his unusual mind.

Here To Hell is an Australian label project conceived by The Presets' Kim Moyes, and Revolver resident DJ Mike Callander. This, the second release on the label is their first original work as Zero Percent.

After dragging Aussie rockers The Drones onto the dancefloor with HTH001, the Here To Hell label bosses show us a little more of what they're all about. Volumes is raw and tough, focused on groove and aimed squarely at late night dancefloor hypnosis.

Named after one of their early live performances, this first Zero Percent outing demonstrates the direct link between their live shows and studio sessions. With Kim and Mike living in different Aussie cities, their production sessions are few and far between. Often these long weekend jams coincide with the hangovers and sleep deprivation that come with gigging in each other's cities.

From all of these sessions across the last few years, Volumes stood out as their first work that satisfied the NO BRAINER test... that is, if you don't need to explain it, then the job is done and the dancefloor can fully consume it.

On the flip Kim and Mike invited The Mole to deliver his own version of dancefloor hypnosis, and they were most satisfied that he also delivered a fantastic NO BRAINER that now appears in all of their DJ sets.

3rd release of Botanic Minds Sunset Series. 12" 180g Vinyl Only.

'Source', a new release by Wolfgang Tillmans, comes in an original version and two remixes by legendary German producer Roman Flügel.
The sixteen-minute original version is a vocal piece in which Tillmans explores his abilities to generate vocal sounds to tell a story while refraining from using actual words. Meshing six different sequences into one composition, each sequence investigates different moods and emotions meandering between the guttural, sacral, and absurd. Recorded in a studio session in 2017, the piece focuses on the immediacy of vocal improvisation as much as on its post-production and edit.
Tillmans knows that whatever is achieved through spontaneity can as easily be lost, as he recently told Emily Bicks in a feature for 'The Wire': I am, of course, always planning things ahead, and I am managing an archive of 25 years, and communicating in the now with dozens of contacts, but the fortunate thing that I feel I've retained is an ability to get in touch with this moment of being in the here and now, and seeing, or hearing, or allowing words or melodies to pop into my head in such moments.
The A-side and an additional bonus track are both remixes by German producer Roman Flügel. In a ten-minute remix, the multi-faceted producer stays true to the original's spontaneity and develops changing arrangements wherever Tillmans' vocals are creating momentum. Exploring various directions, Flügel's experience allows him to glide effortlessly through the different sequences. The bonus 909 Mix instead takes a tighter direction with claps and high-hats and builds up around Tillmans' staccato laughter before culminating in beautiful house piano chords.

The title may suggest a specific origin, a 'source' that is to be located, but in Tillmans' understanding it is a transient space abundant of undiscovered possibilities.

Unblock presents it's 7th release with another solid vinyl offering with this 4 track EP by two well established and respected producers. Tato (who also has his own success with his label Isgud Records) on the A side, and TIJN (Label boss of other vinyl only outlets such as In Haus Wax & self titled TIJN) on the B side.
A1.Estic has a deep underground percussive tribal balearic feel to it with rolling cool dark melodic synths and infectious moody pads that carry the energy solidly throughout the track
A2. Lusyormaind has a slightly lighter feel while still maintaining a deep groove over an intelligent key riff, a dirty baseline with a padded wholesome kick and a dark and sexy hypnotic arrangement with hat patterns providing that bit of light.
B1 . Tijn: Stranger Things has a lovely smooth authentic original house vibe with subliminal whispers. The hats and snares carry the swing seamlessly throughout this track.
B2. Piano Loop has a summer sunshine vibe to it with a pleasant repetitive warm piano loop layered with bright but smooth percussion over a subtle but effective baseline.

25 years of Distillery. That's a memory-laden, even historical event for underground and club culture. Or let's just say, culture in general. Getting into detail about the impact, this club had for the last quarter-century, would fill a couple pages, so let's just state the obvious real quick: Distillery has witnessed and co-determined socio-cultural change and progress in its past. Be it in its hometown Leipzig, basically building up the city's infrastructure for club culture over the years. Or be it on national or international scale. It carries a legacy of being one of the longest-serving and one of the most influential clubs in Germany. Period.

At the same time, it's focus always lies ahead, sensing trends, running a booking that intersects the big players with the up and coming of an underground electronic music scene. With the same spirit that supported DJ/producers on their way to international careers, it brings up new talent.

It is this spirit in particular that now finally led into the idea of mirroring the club's philosophy within the agenda of a record label. And as catalogue number one, unfolding a whole new chapter in Tille history, this anniversary compilation right here already nails what Distillery Records will be about. A conjunction of familiar faces and newcomers. A playground for residents, affiliates and just great artists that we like. An inclusive creative endeavour that covers a stylistic variety as broad as the club's open minded programming.

That said, a rundown of the tracklist will prove the point. You'll find 'Thursday Noon', the opening synth driven House-banger of young blood Napoleon Dynamite next to deep and spaced out Techno courtesy of Tille-resident Chris Manura. Lars Christian Müller's atmospheric trip 'No Future' next to Leipzig-scene-honcho Filburt who hands in a stomping and steaming cut, tinged by Electro-references. You'll find a joint venture by Daniel Stefanik and Mathias Kaden that progresses from Detroit leanings into an affectionate Piano finale, bass heavy breaks by Monkey Maffia, Acid-grounded Dub Techno by genre-heavy weight Joel Mull, a rather odd take on Techno by Georg Bigalke and the record's mightiest bounce in form of Héctor Oak's take-no-prisoners-approach to move a crowd as the conclusion of this compilation.

A compilation, by the way, that's accompanied by three digital only bonus tracks: Matthias Tanzmann's 'Salinas Thing' - a legit peaktime weapon flirting with contemporary tribal sounds, chord driven Deephouse by Thomas Stieler and the irresistibly grooving 'Da Silva' by another key figure of the Leipzig-scene: Sven Tasnadi.

And a compilation that's evidently curated with an all-killer-no-filler-agenda and the overall sensible approach to manifest the unique Distillery vibe on two plates of vinyl.

As Half Baked turns 8 years old, they celebrate with the next release on their label coming as a VA from close friends and some of their dear residents. This one is Half Baked's most varied EP to date as each of the artists brings their own style to the table. Mike Shannon's swinging opener is a tried and tested dancefloor bomb. Half Baked Records debutant Henry Hyde is up next with his stripped back, breaky, percussion rich sound that has gained him many plaudits over the past couple of years. Over on the B side, Seuil opens with Trois Bassins', its hypnotic bubbling acid line taking the track to another dimension. The EP is rounded out by OddMann, the two-man team who were behind HB010 are back with another driving trippy minimal track perfect for those dark early morning afterparties!

Native Response returns with another 12-inch record with NR002: Shaman Among The Machines by Deltitnu.
Deltitnu is a homegrown Native Response project, debuting with three tracks that all share a certain feeling of mystery, accompanied by a steady grooving remix by Roger Gerressen. A1 is titled Sorry , a sweet and sincere record, that starts off with lyrical pianos drifting into space, while elegant drum machine rhythms build up more and more, developing a more club ready feel. This one is easy to lose yourself into, as the song progresses into vulnerable pads and a vocal stating Sorry, symbolising an apology from us humans to planet earth, for all we ve done. Continuing on to A2 Shaman Among The Machines we find ourselves in a whole different spectrum of the EP. It s hard to define where the kick ends and the bassline begins. A whole oozing of bass covers your body, and a miraculous atmosphere embraces you while the song effortlessly develops into a peaktime killer track. It moves on to a sexy acid line and playful drum rhythms on top, that when you think you almost understand them, they turn around again and show they were fooling around with you all along.
Flipping over the record; we start off with B1: Foundation Was Laid.
This meditative and hypnotising record shows that techno doesn t always have to be dark and dystopian. First of all the disco bass supported by the 303 massages the listener into a mindstate ready to take off. Once you re ready the atmospherical pads will take over and move you deeper into the comforting ambience of the track. The drums keep you grounded all the time, making sure no energy is lost on the dancefloor. Foundation Was Laid represents the start of the record label, Native Response. We conclude with B2, the Roger Gerressen Response of Shaman Among The Machines. Roger Gerressen does what he does best; giving the record a dubby and groovy spin.
He more or less adapts the qualities of a chameleon, resulting in a track that easily blends into the groove of the night, at any timeslot.

This summer sees the return of Decay Records with the 'Golden Gate Sampler 2' featuring two original tracks from Michael L Penman and Scott Kemp and remixes from Igor Vicente and Sascha Dive.

Decay Records was launched in late 2013 and over its now twelve releases has unleashed material from the likes of Jay Tripwire, Alex Arnout, Ed Davenport and Franck Roger. Here the label pushes on with part two of its 'Golden Gate Sampler' series, welcoming Ovum / M-nus artist Michael L Penman and Mobilee / Hypertone's Scott Kemp onto the roster. Michael L Penman's 'Lazy Boy' opens up proceedings on a dark and hypnotic tip with dreamy pad lines, modulating bass tones and weighty distorted rhythms. Belgium's Igor Vicente reworks 'Lazy Boy' next and provides a more reduced take on things with sparse percussive elements and menacing atmospheres. On the flip side Scott Kemp turns in 'Sirma', a subtly unfolding groove-led number built around stripped rhythms and soft synth flourishes, while Sascha Dive rounds off the package by reshaping 'Sirma' into a brooding, seven-minute mesmeric workout.

This November will see Elia Perrone launch his new Jun'Ai imprint with his very own 'Flowers' EP, accompanied by a remix from Romanian minimal powerhouse Vid.

Tuscan producer and DJ Elia Perrone has long been one of the most respected figures in Italy's underground electronic music scene having co-founded the Klang Club in Arezzo which has seen him play alongside the likes of Simoncino, Juju & Jordash and Move D. Amongst this Elia, alongside brother and production partner heads up Unclear Records which plays host to their collaborative works as Easy To Remember as well as material from the likes of Baby Ford, Roman Fluegel, Christopher Rau and Dandy Jack amongst others.

Here though we see Elia turning a new chapter with the launch of his Jun'Ai imprint and taking the lead on the inaugural release is 'Flowers', a mind-altering slice of micro house fueled by pops, whirrs, clicks and sample cuts while fluttering atmospherics and bright string plucks ebb and flow throughout the murky depths of the composition. Vid aka Egal 3 steps up on remix duties to follow, delivering a straight edged take on things via crunchy organic percussion, billowing echoes of the original's atmospherics and a robust sub driven bass line.

Opening the flip side is 'Rain Smell', a slow brooding, hypnotic number employing dynamic string licks, modulating synth drones and bumpy 4/4 drums before 'Moshishi' closes out the package with airy ethereal textures, glitched out off-kilter percussion and rumbling low end tones.

TRORA Vol. 1 is Panda Lassow's interpretation of recent global tropical bass movements like Gqom, Kuduro and more. She likes bass music from around the world. As born and grown up in Eastern Germany, in TRORA Vol. 1 she combines these with her musical roots she found in techno and rave music.

Refix-up look sharp: Pets boot down the doors of 2018 with this generous five track version excursion. Five of the label boss's most distinctive and decorated tracks from recent years get the treatment from five fittingly big names; this is how it's going to go down... The one and only Roman Flügel takes the lead with a wonked-out trip down 'Basic Colour Theory' lane. With a sly switch on the kicks and full emphasis on the alien encounter feels, his trippy take on 'Don't' sets the perfect creative benchmark for what's to follow. Dig deeper for a bumping, stripped back warm and jacking twist of 'It's Happening' by the currently unavoidable Rutilance founder DJ Steaw while Counter Records' Pional breaks down their recent jolt of euphoria 'Rave History' and rebuilds it into a slinkier, house affair, repurposing every spine-tingle and skin-ripple Greg and Voitek coded into the original. Crystal Structures returns with its fourth instalment, in the guise of a two track EP, composed by the multifaceted Chas Burns, more commonly known as 'Flow'. Label honcho of two distinguished imprints of his own, 'Low Pressings' and 'Beat code', Flow's extensive back catalogue of eminent records are assumed collectables for the most ardent crate diggers.

Regularly championed by vinyl purveyors including Ricardo Villalobos, Arpiar and Praslea, Flow's elegant style has been akin to the trademark early 2000's UK sound of the likes of Eddie Richards, Terry Francis and Nathan Coles.

His 'Sawwhore EP' on Crystal Structures embodies that very same rolling tech-house through techno eloquence, and will undoubtedly become accustomed to any record bag which it gracefully finds its way into.

This is very personal and emotional release from the Hoxton Records label. Alan Castro's music has been mesmerizing us for a while now. A young and extremely talented DJ/Producer who lives and breathes music, his music reflects each emotional journey he takes beautifully in his creations. The remixes have been produced by Ted Amber and Modebaku, only two of the guys behind Hoxton Records. They got inspired by Alan's work and have decided to make it personal and work on remixes in house. Our series Love Songs for Dragons welcomes a debut from the romanian artist Dragos Ungureanu, signing PFR003 with his Opus EP.

Lee Burton is the next artist on Raum Musik and this is his first single for our label. Lee is hailing from Greece and we were quite happy to receive some demo tracks of him, as he caught our attention already a while ago. His productions are more house related, but always with a nice, modern twist. His powerful sound and also his very well structured sound design could easily be described as his signature and it's definitely worth keeping an eye on him.

Here we bring you an amazing EP of atmospheric delight stunning bass sounds with an amazing remix from ZefZeed. Both of these artists are very talented producers and very professional and it gives us great pleassure to have them on board with us at Trapped Ldn. Born in Republic of Moldova, Suolo is one of these young producers of minimalist music that sets no boundary in terms of style and musical horizons. After a few trips during the year 2012, he learned to assert his artistic difference both melodic and underground. He signed on labels such as Um Passo, Sleep Is Commercial, Leone Music, In Records and many others who have helped him to become known to a wider audience.

Terre Thaemlitz presents an exclusive vinyl edit of Names Have Been Changed taken from the epic Deproduction album, backed with the incredible House Arrest mix as DJ Sprinkles.
Asking pertinent questions about the hypocritical nature of relations between LGBT agendas and Western Humanist notions of the nuclear family, Terre's Deproduction sensitively yet unflinchingly broaches topics usually considered taboo by a mainstream who are all too happy to pick and choose parts of radical, fringe culture to fetishise, while swerving the bigger questions proposed by those niches.
In the vinyl edit of Names Have Been Changed, exclusive to this LP, Terre contracts the original, 43 minute blend of strings and unsettling scenes of domestic violence into a 17 minute version,
beautifully suspended in the cut at 45rpm in order to best represent the work's unique democracy of frequency - from the muffled row heard next door, to its hyperrealistic avian chirrups and modestly spare, foregrounded strings.
On the B-side's 10 minute House Arrest mix Terre's ideas feel even more radical when juxtaposed with a sublime deep house production, placing them in context of what was and still can be a
radical artform when done with insight and consideration. The result is one of this decade's most sublime yet unsettling house tracks, bar none.

Peripheral Minimal is proud to announce the imminent release of, 'Beta Evers / Spatial Relation', a six-track 12" E.P., that also features, Heinrich Mueller of Dopplereffekt. The six tracks contain the coldest of minimal synth and technoid darkness, underpinned by a melancholic sentiment. This is the third release by Spatial Relation on Peripheral Minimal, and the first by Beta Evers.

Brigitte Enzler aka Beta Evers, grew up with the New Wave and experimental electronics scenes in the late 70's and early 80's. In her teenage years she founded a girl-band and started her first record label at the age of 16, to independently release and distribute the music of her project. During the early 90's Brigitte started to arrange gatherings / parties, (electronic music) for local underground clubs in her home city of Augsburg, Germany.

In the year 2000 she founded the electro collective Kommando 6, and in 2001 she decided to run a label again, under the same name, Kommando 6. Finally, in the same year, she started to compose and produce her own tracks independently. Besides her solo-project, Brigitte collaborates in a side-project with Dystronic called, Black Spider Clan, which began life in 2002. Furthermore she is involved in, Flying Bodies and Radikale Analog Fraktion. In 2006 she closed the Kommando 6 label after it had released 20 records. More recently she started 2 new labels called Bodyvolt and Venus Noir.

Married New York based couple, Lissette and Jacob Schoenly founded Spatial Relation several years ago, and have sporadically released classic technoid synthwave / minimal wave, akin to fellow US act, 'Adult' who are also a major influence. Their first full length LP has been critically acclaimed, and the three tracks herein continue their twisted electro sounds.

Reaching its 15th release, Amphia sees the return of Cezar Lazar's double EP, intuitively called Archetypes'. Known for his innovative approach both behind the decks and productions, Cezar's creative alter-ego enacts a variable puzzle with hard-edged sonic pieces laid out over five tracks, each with their own distinct acoustic palette.

Side A holds Equtime'. This side-long track envelops a stripped-down melody with perforated rhythmical pads, fleshed out with disconnected threads of vocals.

Side B is dedicated entirely to Badgervox'. Displaying a weighty bass section alongside the shuffled percussion work, its intricate melody is integrated smoothly creating a unique soundscape.

Thicken Court' holds the first half of side C. Sharp in its composition, it holds an assorted percussion ensemble and a collection of fizzy waveforms. They complement a thunder-like bass protagonist that holds the center stage.

We continue with Boe Dark', where textures and sharp tones grow in layers upon layers creating tension. The apex is reached when modular timbres are hindered by sparse piano patterns, completing this electro-acoustic scenery.

On the flipside, Wedmar' holds the key to our puzzle with its accurate four-to-the-floor feat. With a series of programmed overlapping organ vibes, the sound feels both piercing and intense, creating a sort of sensory impairment.

The sophomore release on the Ouïe imprint brings three more killer cuts into the universe. Made up of the production outfit NU - based in Germany but clearly well travelled and open to diverse sounds from around the globe- this EP is full of groove laden sunshine vibes. 'Endup' is the lead track - a swingy, afro-tinged disco outing with warm, trippy percussion and a hypnotic, joyful vocal sample sure to bring smiles to every dancefloor. 'Cosa Mia' slows things down a few BPM - a chugging beat and balearic vibe, enhanced by a beautiful string section that makes this a no-brainer for a sunrise / sunset session. 'Palomita' delivers a similar feel, but with slightly more drive to it - shifting from a mid tempo groover to a latin hip shaker with perfect aplomb. This three tracker is going to win the hearts of open-minded DJs and dancers alike.

After releasing SPACE CONTROL an intergalactic journey into synthesizers, back in 2012, the Theremynt duo went on to release a successful, if steady, stream of EPs, including 'Robotique de l'Amou'r and 'Vampiros Discos' (a tribute to Brazilian filmmaker Ze do Caixao). With remixes coming from the likes of David Carretta, Acid Washed and Club Bizarre, these were playlisted by scene DJs such as Marvin & Guy and Ivan Smagghe, amongst others.

Now Yann and Eva are striking back with their second LP, Parallels.

It's a record that sees them changing their colour palette and mood, but one that's still haunted by ghosts that lurk within their synthesizers and drum machines. The 10 tracks still exhibit Peel's ever shifting vocal style and Yann's sophisticated arrangements. But the second LP oscillates between ballad and dancefloor, landing between cosmic disco influences, Krautrock and other progressive techno sounds. As a bonus, the album also features a cover of famous 80's anthem Self Control. (Raf & Laura Branigan).

The cornerstone track from Chloe´'s new album, an adventurously dark landscape dotted by Montreal rock band Suuns' singer Ben Shemie's vocals, Recall deserved this long-awaited quartet of astounding remixes, which serve as extensions of her latest full-length Endless Revisions' second single, released last October on Lumie`re Noire, the label founded by Chloe´.Moire´, Matthew Dear's latest signing to his Ghostly International label (which released the London artist's debut album in early 2017), retained a smattering of Ben's syllables, setting them to a captivating retro- futuristic remix that straddles two worlds, along the milestones of a restrained beat in a mesmerizingly ethereal and ghostly road trip that could last forever.German Crosstown Rebels signee Jonathan Kaspar's version is a more banging techno version, rounding out the EP's wide array of moods and genres. Over a formidably progressive build-up, the mood remains dark thanks to Ben's stretched-out vocals, and Recall's original universe is made more dynamic with a sped-up tempo, added percussions, and a concluding harmonisation finale that brings it all into the light. Douglas Greed, previously remixed Chloe´'s Driven (released on BPitch Control back in 2015,) similarly chops up the vocals, but takes them down a different road, reassembling the original's elements to create a different track, resulting in a fascinating free-form re-reading, an adroit upcycling, a long detour through the German producer's favoured poetic techno backroads - possibly inspired by the surroundings of Jena, Greed (a.k.a. Mario Wilms') hometown, and homebase of the Freude Am Tanzen label, the serious stable of geniuses directed by the incomparable Robag Wruhme.In a more motoric register, Autarkic's re-imagines Recall via a different narrative lens, re-populating and grounding it all at once. The Israeli Red Axes accomplice, who released an excellent debut album (I Love You Go Away) on Disco Halal last April, has a knack for propelling fanatics of rock urgency straight to the dancefloor. A gang of machines amplifies Shemie's voice, highlighting its minutiae of suffering and pleasure, leading the listener into dawn.

Throughout its musical journey ,Algorhythmic brought together many talented artists that shook the dancefloor with their sound. We've been big fans of General Ludd from the start and are delighted to finally release something from them. These three tracks were made specifically to be played live during their Panorama Bar debut and it's pretty easy to imagine them rocking the joint!

Dapayk Solo, Berlin based producer and veteran of the minimal techno scene, announces the release of his 10th studio album 'The Calling'. This latest project will be the producer's first solo album since
2015. The 8-track double 12inch LP will be available via Dapayk Solo's label Mo's Ferry Productions and comes with a free download voucher for the extended 12-track digital album.

The first track on this LP 'The Calling' shares its name with the album and starts off with a pang of energetic, chopped beats before exploding into a brassy melody, continuously gaining momentum.
'Blackout' immediately announces itself as a next generation Detroit House anthem. The rolling synths, hi hats, and vocals make this one of the most outstanding tracks on the album. 'Aurora' stays true to its name with a buildup composed of throbbing ethereal synths that give the track an otherworldly vibe. 'Flood' transports listeners to the dancefloor with its pulsating bassline combined with Komplement's quaint vocals.

The second part of the album begins with 'After All', one of the most enticing tracks on the album. It combines the groovy rhythm of four to the floor percussion with tantalizing vocals by VARS before New Release Information 'Low Tinnitus' reverts to Dapayk's signature minimalist sound. The transition into 'Wanderer' continues the momentum built up by the previous tracks. The closing 'Walk With Me' is a deep-house jam that features a rhythmic shaker layered under Mental Bend's powerful vocals.
Dapayk Solo, alias Niklas Worgt, isn't afraid to try new things. With 5 aliases under his belt, he continuously strives to experiment with different styles and production techniques to create innovative sounds. Throughout the span of two decades he went from producing drum'n'bass to house to ultimately crafting the groovy, edgy techno sound that he's now known for.

With more than ten LP releases and over 70 single releases on his record, he is one of the main protagonists in the world of underground electronic music. In 2017, he released an LP titled 'Harbour' with his wife Eva Padberg under one of his many projects, Dapayk & Padberg. While that album aimed to steer away from traditional club beats, 'The Calling' sees Dapayk reassume his deep, dark, and infectious sound. While Dapayk is often categorized as a minimal producer, the LP proves that he is capable of extending beyond the scope of a single genre. 'The Calling' is just another example of why Dapayk has managed to stay in the scene for so long: he loves electronic music and he's great at
making it, too.

Carlo Troja aka Don Carlos is active as a DJ from the late 70's. He debuted as a producer towards the end of the 80's with the single 'Alone' , which became one of the cult tracks of the international Deep House scene. His productions have always mixed House rhythms with afro-american jazz sounds, verging sometime towards disco, sometime towards progressive house or electronic soul. In 1992 Calypso (Irma) released 'Mediterraneo" a mini album all by playing ... Deep Jazzy house !!!

Repress

One of the most busy and consistently excellent producers in all of electronic music is Boris Bunnik, and now he is back under his most loved alias, Conforce, on his most regular home, Delsin. As well as releasing as Versalife, Hexagon and many other monikers, the Dutchman is best known for his serious deep and underwater tracks that are part dub, part ambient and part techno. Opening up this new EP is title track Depth Over Distance. Driven by buried deep kick drums, up top are thin lead lines that leave trails like beams of light as ticking percussion and more widescreen synths flesh out the airwaves. Plateau is less spacious and has more detail in its midst including clacking hits which reverb off into the distance, supple and subtle bass notes and a general sense of aqueous fluidity all characterise this brain soothing bit of music. On the flip, Rendez Vous is more directed at the dancefloor with big drums, cold and edgy chords and gentle acid lashings. It's vast in size and scale once more, and drives along with a sense of muted menace. Finally, Closer is another airy and cavernous bit of ambient music that is sombre and serious. Swathes of echo and reverb make for an immersive, underwater soundscape once again and close out the EP in devastatingly emotive style.
