Looking back at the imprint's catalog one would expect Pluie/Noir's 9th release to be in the same organic tones as previous outputs, but "Pambore" is anything but
predictable: Atree's debut on Pluie/Noir is a homage to drum-machines and analog synthesizers and a welcome breath of fresh air to the imprint's evergrowing music catalog.
With a true 'no bullshit' attitude, the Stuttgarter (soon-to-be-Berliner) Oliver put together 8 dancefloor-oriented tracks that bend the boundaries between micro-house and acid-techno while always keeping things swingy and surprising, full of bleepy sounds and playful synth melodies. Oliver's music is without a doubt very light-hearted, with a endearing aura that is usually reminicent of producers living closer to the Mediterranean sea. Pambore' is a showcase of exactly that: a hefty
but light-hearted double-EP that presents eight variations of his sincopated, and ultimately funky drum programming, bouncy basslines, tumbling synth leads and functional story-telling.
This homage to machine music brings on board the Portuguese graphic wizard Nuno Patrício to visually interpret the EP, keeping with the imprint's usual audio-visual

Next up on Chord Jay Shepheard drops 2 original, neatly programmed percussive deep house cuts with 2 remixes from Chord residents Dudley Strangeways and Matthew Burton.

The Berlin based Gel Abril kicks off his new "Closed Circuits" label in a full form presenting a strong record by talented Polish artist Oskar Szafraniec, a crafted producer, known by his latest 12" on Rawax with Ricardo Villalobos, EPs on Murge Recordings, Cyclo or collaborations with Pier Bucci. For the debut release on Closed Circuits, Oskar has collaborated with the Swedish "Very Addictive" duo and has delivered his best work to date, a music piece called "Borderline", filled with lush vocals and hypnotic pads that kicks the label with a proper bang.

On the A side - the label boss himself, Gel Abril, turning "Borderline" into a burner, with his very own distinctive groove and effected vocals, surely to be one of the main tracks for 2018! On the flip side, already mentioned original mix of "Borderline" and another collaboration by Oskar, this time with legendary Chilean master "Pier Bucci", bringing minimalistic experimental goodness, perfect for those special after hour moments we all love. Gel Abril said: "listening to Borderline for the first time it just blew my mind and gave me that goosebumps feeling you rarely get with most of music out there these days, I felt very inspired remixing such an magnificent vocal, it is one for the books!"

Fourth release on Nitsa's label is a very special one. DJ Fra and Shelby Grey, two of the residents of the legendary club in Barcelona, are joining for the first time ever in the studio. At first sight 'Death Proof' looks like a simple DJ tool, but is way more than that: while keeping the same elements for a long time, and just using a beautiful pad and a tuba alike heavy bass, it manages to sound completely fresh and classic at the same time.

DJ Fra is 50% of Ferenc, who released on labels such as Kompakt or Pornflake. Shelby Grey has his own imprint, Holographic People, and he also released during the last years on several record labels (B-Pitch control, Factor City, Natura Sonoris, Record Union).

On the flip we have a remix from El_Txef_A, one of the most prominent electronic producers in Spain. With releases and remixes on Permanent Vacation, Hypercolour, Mule Electronic or his own personal adventure, Forbidden Colours, Aitor Etxebarria brings 'Death Proof' to schizoid areas, providing a remix where lo-fi techno, acid and a mystic spoken word recording converges without being too messy, but keeping a raw and crazy 90s rave feeling. Most surely one of the weirdest bangers of the season.

This year we got 100 releases , we never though that we will arrive so long with the label and also enjoying it as much as we do releasing all cain of artists and music always close to our Minimalistic mental sound. So to celebrate this number hundred we will release 2 vinyl one that was released past month of JSeptember and a second one that is the one you listening now , having inside some of the artists that have released with us. Italian producer Giuliano Lomonte enjoyed a stunning breakthrough year in 2017, with tracks such as 'La Musique' and his Brouqade debut, 'Reflections' immediately marking him out as an artist worth keeping tabs on. Equally as adept at turning his hand to minimal pastures as he is rough-and-ready techno cuts, he returns here to Dana Ruh's Brouqade courtesy of an EP that goes some way to cementing his reputation as a producer of some renown.

Featuring two gloriously atmospheric cuts, the Dramadam EP kicks off with the brilliantly titled 'The Colour of Dramadam'. A deep, dubby techno cut, its not lacking in groove, with its intoxicating loopy vines sure to work a treat on any dancefloor it's allowed to let loose on. A perfect track with which to bring the night toward more peak-time territory, its many melodic flourishes are every bit as colourful as its title lets on.

The B side is no less emphatic. Characterised by a host of squelchy acid tones, it's another vibe-heavy number that keeps the listener second-guessing from the off. More hypnotic sounding than what's come before, it too is sure to prove a popular DJ tool over the coming months.

An EP that compounds Brouqade's reputation as a consistently eclectic and varied vehicle for discerning electronica, Giuliano Lomonte's presence here is very much a snug fit for both parties. All things told, this is top drawer stuff from an artist - and a labe =l for whom we've come to expect nothing less.

The second Intergraded is a four tracker from Hi & Saberhägen, the brainchild of two producer/DJ's from Scotland and Ireland respectively. They first met Midland at a gig at Sneaky Petes in Edinburgh where they booked him to play at the club (where they also hold a residency). Having previously played their music on Anthony Naples 'Proibito' and 'Huntleys and Palmers' he was keen to hear what else they had been working on. What followed was selection of tracks that ended up being distilled down to the 'Light On Leaves EP'. Without relying on superlatives and detailed track by track descriptions, its an amazing record that reveals itself with every listen and one we are really proud to have on the label.

The Berlin based imprint RoundQube Musik gets its 10th release. To celebrate this goal the label's guys have brought together the whole RQM Familien' dropping an eight track double vinyl: besides the usual suspects like Francesco Passantino, Gabriele Carasco, Luca Torre and Sonartek, die Familien' grows with new friends such as the well known Frankfuter producer Matt Star, Jakob Seidensticker (an element of Wareika) in cooperation with Boronas, the Japanese talent Kaitaro, Enzo Pietropaolo and the co-owner of the label I-Max with Blesgroove.

The 87 story continues with SEDEE aka Sebastian Werle & David Nicolas from Mannheim Gemany. After their first appearience on 87 Records 001, SEDEE presenting their first EP 'Zayak". SEDEE, well known for their characteristic sound, firing three different minimal grooves. 'Zayak" (a-side) is an experimental piece which developes a certain kind of deepness. 'Leksikoen' (b1) goes more forward with a huge bassline and cracking drums. 'After Hasselt" (b2) is more deep but also a clubby tune by David Nicolas. Watch out for SEDEE! Derek Carr is smoldering hot at the moment. His every release is being greeted as an instant classic by the Deep House community. So it seems well-timed, then, that he'd run headlong into Love Notes (from Brooklyn), who have been on a not unimpressive run themselves. Perhaps expectedly, this Detroit vibes abound on the record, from the rich strings of Sidewinder (the most dancefloor friendly track here), through the spaced out breakbeat of the title track, down to beautiful, UR-esque closing strains of Indigo. A well curated EP from an artist at the pinnacle of his game.

Following on from their second release by Russian producer and DJ, Tripmastaz, the fledgling Barcelona based label drops another blistering EP, this time saturated in acidic 303 lines and crisp 808 percussion by German trio, Daniel Varga, Michael Kuebler, and Sascha Hedgehog, aka REWORK. Having released on Visionquest, Playhouse, Items&Things, Meant, Loveyeah and more, the group continue to reinvent their fresh and funky reimaginings of new wave disco and delve further into sonic explorations. Formed in 2000, REWORK released their first EP 'Anyway I Know You' on Playhouse Records. Several years later, Sascha Hedgehog formerly of French Beat-Punk band Les Quitriche, joined the team. Not long after, their first album 'Fall Right Now' followed and club hits including 'You're So Just Just' and 'Love Love Love Yeah' helped pave the way for them further. Their second LP 'Pleasure Is Pretty' was released in 2007 and remix projects with Alter Ego, Chloe, Magda, Losoul, Jackmate, Trentemoller and others followed. Their musical aesthetic has changed over the years from, in their own words, 'cabaret-independent-house,' to forging a distinct sound that combines icy minimal structures with catchy euro-girl vocals, Anglo-French funk antics and a dash of dancefloor melancholy. With 'Acid Control', the trio see themselves in even darker territory than before, making things much more intense. The release is topped off with an Aphex-esque remix from Venezuelan duo Sergio Muñoz and Israel Sunshine aka Fur Coat, which pairs deep, dark driving beats and a rolling groove that will capture both the mind and the soul.

After almost a years hiatus, Simple Records make a return with their first EP of 2013 from Leeds starlet Youandewan. Ewan Smith has been making a name for himself with his deep, dozy and ever so slightly melancholy take on house. He's already slated remixes for Maya Jane Coles, Midland, Dusky & the elusive Gerry Read as well as original EPs for Hype, and Secretsundaze and now makes his Simple debut with a four-track EP titled - 'What's The Deal'.
The EP highlights Ewan's attention to detail whether that be with the pitch-shifted vocal samples coupled with shuffling melodic flourishes in 'What's The Deal' or whether it's a more patient groovier number like 'Just Words' which adopts the less is more approach, focusing on a classy bassline, a few drawn out synth chords and sweet vocal snippets. 'You Don't Know' combines Ewan's trademark vocal snippets once again but this time with Mike Huckaby esque synth licks, this is probably the deepest jam on the ep and Ewan's not afraid to take a nod to those from the D(etroit). 'You Tired' rounds off the EP, and illustrates Ewan's deft touch by combining a heavy, groovy bassline and lush, subtle piano flourishes. Youandewan is only getting going and this EP perfectly showcases his sound. With gigs this summer at Hideout, Unknown and Echo festivals, Trouble Vision as well as several appearances at our very own Aus Music and Simple Records parties, we think 2013 is going to be a fine year for Ewan. Five releases strong and A Colourful Storm is cementing itself as one of the most exciting labels to watch. They've even managed to surprise us with their most ahem, "functional" record yet. Four demented bleeps'n'bloops'n'bassliners with just enough sass, sub and a beautifully complex sound palette to boot. Our pick is the 'Specialist'.

Calling in the favors: Marcel Dettmann, Roman Flügel and Scuba under his SCB Inversion disguise, take apart songs and tracks from Tuff City Kids' debut album - Adoldesscent'. Dettmann, submisses to his new wave and em callings, keeps the song that is - Scared' intact, but mangles it into a fast-paced pogo piece, while Flügel uses his second take of - RMancer' (see the Happy Gerdy remix for reference) to push it into the K-Lauer abyss, before SCB Inversion tones down the rockism of - Nordo' and makes it inherently his own. To complete the picture, you get - Thorarium' by TCK themselves. A previously unreleased track that is basically a remix of a previously unreleased track. Haha!

The Petra Digital label is back with a bumper new release that boasts four originals by Bartaub and then four
remixes by a top selection of contemporary artists. These include Swayzak, Roger Gerressen, Tolga Fidan &
Cesar Merveille plus Havantepe and between them they make for a fantastic and essential release.
Bärtaub is two musical figures that hail from the concrete jungle of Istanbul. Mutlu San's electronic music
productions are blessed by a perpetual, spacious and moving nature, while Batu is deeply appreciated by
house and techno aficionados of the city as being a restless DJ.
Their first tune Atrax is a deeply atmospheric house roller with great chords bringing light and colour to the
groove. Find And Hide is built on a brilliantly programmed drum line that rocks back and forth on its heels and
has loose percussion tumbling over the top as skewed synths bring some freakiness. Raw Land then gets more
gritty with a prying synth riff that is edgy and mysterious as trumpets drift up top. It's an intriguing track with a
real sense of story telling then final original Bender is the most slick and up tempo of the lot, with rubbery
drums and deft percussion all interweaving to groom and hypnotic effect.
The first remix is of Atrax by Roger Gerressen and is a super stripped back and deep dubby house roller which
burrows far into your brain. The esteemed Cesar Merveille and Tolgan Fidan then work their magic on Find And
Hide which is a super supple and subtle minimal track thats alive with synths, hits, bass strokes and rumbling
drums. It's the sort of thing you cannot resist dancing to.
Havantepe's version of Raw Land is an uptempo, quick and slick house number with soft but forceful drums
and chords that bring ever more pressure and tension as they build above a molten acid line. Last of all the
legendary Swayzak flips Bender into a futuristic techno cut with gentle, soul infused pads but busy, electro
styled percussion. It makes for a nice interplay as the drums bounce along and closes out an essential EP.

The second EP of Samuel Rohrer's Range of Regularity album presents two more striking reinterprations. These new remixes provide an intriguing parallax view of the original tracks, using the percussive eclecticism of the parent LP as a starting point from which to journey into sonically vibrant, feature-rich territories. The production specialists on hand for this project include Burnt Friedman and Ricardo Villalobos. Villalobos, has already formed a strong working relationship with Rohrer's AMBIQ trio, lends his talents to both of the EPs. (RoR REMIXES I - AMEL-EP716). Nonplace label boss Friedman, as well, has carved out a unique space for himself within the electronic world, logging several decades' worth of releases that with dub-wise production sensibility, skewed humor, and riots of tone color. Though each individual remix has its own character, they are all united in their ability to provide a quick cure for fatigue with the common 'loop': though not improvised, they are strung together from fleeting phrases that evolve as if they are taking on a life independent of their creators.
Burnt Friedman's own dramatic interpretation of 'Microcosmoism' pairs up his consciousness of deep bass and analog inventiveness with Rohrer's continually transforming sound objects, making for a flowing and wordless narrative that simply dares listeners to stop paying attention. Feeling more like a collaboration in 'real time' than a remix proper, Friedman brings his characteristic 'mad scientist' wit to the proceedings and delivers an energetic piece that simply glows in the dark.
This is complemented nicely by Villalobos' remix of 'Microcosmoism'. It carries the energy level of the 1st EP over to a new disk, while heavily experimenting with feelings of emotional ambiguity. At some points aggressive and at other points merely curious, this mischievous collage of attitudes feels as inspired by the questing jazz of Sun Ra as it is by continental techno. Contemplative keyboard runs, enthusiastic spring-like percussion and malfunctioning machine chatter all coalesce to make this a most fascinating piece of multi-purpose electronic music.

We're all up for gathering friends, moments and feelings, therefore that's exactly what we did in order to come up with the script for the latest episode of "Tzinah on Black" series.
On our freshest release, Tzinah Family is represented by Adrianho with a laid-back afterhours tune, all dressed up in a moody atmosphere that floats on the dancefloor, bringing up lovable childhood flashbacks when we hear "Music through ages".
We're happy to see our crew evolve and grow bigger with the likes of two veteran artists - one of Netherland's best underground exports- U-More and, none other than NG Trax chief shaman - Nima Gorji. Mumbled "Sentences", percussive-rich rhythms and a deliciously sublime low-end dictate the flow of Nima Gorji's trip on Side A, while the odd textures and magic sonic elements are floating in space-time with U-More's "Aurora" on the B-side.
The story of our third V.A. is not finished yet, as Posh111 marks the first appearance on Tzinah Records, his sound guiding us through a thumping bassline and meticulous construction that are giving life to "Neagrade".

Then, the melody comes in and matches perfectly with all the sweet noises around to take you for this experience. Grey Friday is the kind of emotional tracks that drops this style to the next level.

B side opens with Edene, a remarquable Cumsecade's imprint with its rolling minimal loop that goes on and on, very catchy and efficient, that increase more after each break.

Matuss continue to deliver deep and soulful techno via her vinyl only imprint Absence Seizure, which she helms alongside Abe Duque.
Opening with 'Whistler', Matuss delivers heavyweight bass tones, dubbed out drums and obscure synthesiser transitions before 'Zoya The Destroyer' provides eerie atmospheres, crisp percussion and subtle mid-range motifs which sit on top of a melodic low-end.
On the flip side we have 'Stranger things', which sets an ominous tone with murky ambiences and ethereal pads underpinned by a powerful kick, rumbling sub-bass and percolating rhythms to close the release.

Niconé, the versatile musician and likeable style-icon: unshaven and latently bleary-eyed, of course, but elegant and - thankfully - modest at the same time. Over the past years, Alexander Gerlach has become synonymous with a certain playful touch and light-hearted attitude that flows through his music and goes hand in hand with a laidback natural tenor. 2011 saw him release the hugely successful 'Romantic Thrills' album together with his good friend and constant partner in crime Sascha Breamer. Now, two years later, Niconé is presenting his first solo full-length, 'Let Love Begin', on Stil vor Talent. ‚Burnhain' gives a taste of what's to follow and is one of two 12 EP accompanying the album. On the A-side, ‚Burnhain', classic house sounds such as driving high-hats and 90s rave stabs offer a nod to the past, while hitting the zeitgeist. 'Querido', which features Sascha Braemer and the newly discovered vocal talent Yvy, initially drops the energy on the B-side before exploding with Mediterranean life, castanets included for good measure. 'You Are My Best Meowfucker' then pushes us back into the club as a techy rhythm and repeated vocal hook draw us to the floor. The track's twist offers itself in the form of a string loop that lends an oriental edge. Spicy and addictive! Let love begin..

On Paranoia, Oliver Huntemann's prowess and versatility as a producer is evident, from the space age minimalism of 'Magnet', through to more melodic, upbeat productions such as 'The End', in which warm sounds resonate through the listener.

The debut release for the label is inspired from lingering between different realities.
The original cut of Bardo starts the release perfectly with a groovy bass and delayed atmospheric sounds, on point for inner exploration.

Ed Herbst's version brings some of his innate talent as a beatmaker. Forward moving bass, crisp percussions and expansive sounds make this one a must for the the late hours.

On the flip side, Han delivers a tool with layered hi-hats and percussions accompanied by futuristic sounds that create a solid groove to keep you locked in.

Nick Beringer gives us a superb remix of Tamed, raw elements and tripped out sounds all along the track make this a perfect dance floor tool.

The Japanese-inspired Sentaku label pays tribute to its influences by signing Dixia Sirong for its first release. The Asia-based duo cooked up some tasty and hovering minimal house with clear references and sonorities from the Land of the rising sun. Full of funky flavours with some heavy and contagious basslines, 'Araki Murashige' EP communicates Dixia Sirong's distinctive sound to perfection. The four tracks deliver some hypnotic set of beats well-suited to lure the dancefloor into a special astral journey. With this scintillating atmosphere and the multiple layers and textures those tracks make this EP perfect to get the crowd to start moving or for some post-peak deepness!

Mono Recordings is finally back in 2016 with a 4 tracker by Tolga Top and Domi Diewez who make their debut on mono. The two Mannheim natives contributed two huge originlas which are accompanied by two massive remixes by the talented Romanian newcomer Bayt and the mono veterans Bunte Bummler.

Snad aka Shyam Anand is an artist from Chicago of Indian descent. He just moved to Berlin. And this is his first release on Suol.His debut EP for us is a three-tracker and absolute quality. Its title 'Home Away From House' alludes to a musical career spanning three continents and to the 'most enlightened circles', as Snad puts it, 'who still travel the Silk Roads and who take their underground seriously -- wherever they call home'. What this means becomes apparent quickly as the title track drops us straight into a softly stabby, hypnotic little sequence on top of an elegantly subtle combination of a drum machine groove and synth bass. Things build up patiently with luscious delayed chords before rising strings transport us to a beautiful place where the Goa sun shines onto the streets of Chicago. Just like all tracks on the EP, 'Cut!!!' is purely instrumental but it doesn't need words to tell its story. Clever drum programming and cool reverbs are in perfect harmony with a melodic bass riff and a silky, modulating analogue lead that guides us to the end with a smile.

'Deep Looking', the EP's final track, has a solid groove at its centre and some delicious ear candy around it. Syncopated toms and claps join forces with a fast hi-hat pattern to provide plenty of momentum for this otherwise dreamily floating acid house number.

After a first EP of the year from STL, the Solar Phenomena label now welcomes Romania's Romansoff. The Raw Tools label boss hails from Bucharest and has also released his gritty, stripped back house and techno on Creme Organization and Sportiv. Here he offers four new tracks, with one remix from Timedance man Ploy completing the package.

'Halo' epitomises Romansoff's style with its slow, heavy drums and sparse, scattered perc sounds. A lo-fi melody adds colour, while 'Coach Jacket' ups the ante with busier claps and crashing hits laid over a turbulent, unsettled bassline. Increasing the pressure further, 'Graded' grows manic with punchy drums, layers of fuzzy synths and bass and distant cries that are dark and unsettling. Ploy flips this one into a prickly and atmospheric drum track that keeps you on edge and Romansoff's digital exclusive 'Michigan Lake Tapes' is a slow motion workout with unsettling synths and tortured pads that grows ever more unhinged. It rounds out a leftfield house EP in style.
