MOTHER RECORDINGS welcome SIMION for a new tidy two track EP entitled XTC. This artist has really made a big impression over the last couple of years with releases on labels like Snatch!, Suara, Hedonism, and now he impresses on Mother.

The title track XTC goes first and is six minutes of face melting house with nice gloopy and reversed synth lines tugging you in weird directions. The drums are fresh and the perc sprinkled over the top helps drive things along as vocals pop out of the mix.

Then comes HAUS, a tougher house tune with wooden drum sounds, freaky vocals that are expertly treated and loopy sub bass that really pulls you in. Add some fire vocals that really set things off and you have a sure fire winner.

German DJ and producer ROBOSONIC is back with another of their party starting EPs, this time on MOTHER RECORDINGS. It comes after years of serving up sizzling tunes on labels like DFTD, Kittball and OFF Recordings and across two sweet tunes they really cook up a sonic storm.

PEACH (Original Mix) is first and is a juicy house tune with lovely warm, groovy chords - written together with Jan Weigel. It's a colourful cut with real soul and squelchy bass and is the sort to get the floor filled right up.

ICKE UND SIE (Original Mix) on the flip is another feel good tune, with well swung drums, skipping kicks and well treated vocals that bring a vibe feel. More great chords flesh things out and this is a timeless jam to close out an essential two tracker.

Iconic DJ and producer Paul Woolford has teamed up with singer/songwriter Karen Harding to deliver ‘You Already Know’.

Blessed with a soaring vocal, ‘You Already Know’ flaunts Paul’s vintage sounding chord patterns to create a retro-sounding summer floor filler. The synth-led production follows his recent club-ready D-Mix of the single, which marked the 400th release on esteemed dance label Positiva Records who recently celebrated their 25th anniversary.

Combining Paul’s four-to-the-floor signature style with Harding’s rich and emotive vocal delivery, ‘You Already Know’ looks set to secure a spot as one of this summer’s hottest dance records.

MOTHER RECORDINGS label boss and house hero NHAN SOLO is back with another hard hitting bomb, this time entitled „The Jungle“ and due out on March 22nd.

This six minute sizzler has rubbery, rolling drums and loose bass that will pump the club. The whistle melody catches you hear at first and makes you all day and night sing along. :)
The female vocals shouts flavour to the beats and are sure to get hands in the air. The whole thing is full of charm and atmosphere and is a typically lively house weapon from this contemporary tastemaker.

Hot on the heels of their last outing on the label back in October, MAT.JOE are back on their regular MOTHER RECORDINGS label. This time the hot duo from Berlin delivers again an incredible 2 tracker HIT EP.

The first cut is "NIGHT & DAY", a slick and atmospheric affair with silvery and slithering percussive loops, house and rubbery drums and the sort of emotive vocals that really send crowds wild. Clever effects and lovely, glossy melodies and vocal chants add a summery, humid feel and all in all it makes for a sure fire winner.

The flip is „DANG DANG DANG", a 100% disco jam! Boys are digging deep, expert vocal sample, massive brass sounds really add flavour to the funky groover. This kind of record every DJ needs in their collection to make the lady´s hips shaking on the dance floor. ;)

Kerri Chandler “Rain” is well-established as one of the defining vocal house productions from Kerri Chandler. With Kerri’s unique singing / scatting vocal performance “Rain” has continued to be a peak hour DJ favorite since its original 1998 release as the B side of his Mood EP on Nervous Records.
Danny masterfully brings those elements that have always received the biggest dancefloor response. The B-side is Danny’s edit of the 2013 remix by another equally well-respected leading talent in the worldwide house music community… namely AtJazz.

Bonn return on Polycarp Records with a follow-up EP of their recently released debut album „Forget Forgot Forgotten“. This time they are in good company: Frankfurt’s finest Lauer and handsome Iron Curtis set their hands to the original versions of „Le Jardin“ and „Endless“ and contributed their very own interpretation of the two tracks. ‘Noi No’ LP for Sähkö Splitting at the seams with deviant funk and irrepressible attitude, Madteo’s first LP in 7 years forms a fractal, mixtape-like mosaic of asymmetric techno informed by skewed traces of rap, House, R&B and dancehall. Its 12 tracks are delivered in an enviably nonchalant, freehand style that’s become the Italian-American artist’s ear-snagging signature since 2012’s ‘Noi No’ and ‘Mad Dip Revue’ albums, and also a dozen 12”s and mixtapes over the interim; all of which exerted heavy inspiration for everyone from Andy Stott and Joy O to Demdike Stare over the past decade, making this new LP a perfectly unusual fit for the anything-goes DDS aesthetic shared by label alumni including Mica Levi, Equiknoxx, Iueke and Shinichi Atobe.
Without beating around the bush, ‘Dropped Out Sunshine’ is a straight-up masterpiece of cut-up sampledelia bound to make the club dance differently. Crammed with sawn-off edits that never lose the thread, its wild and effortlessly inventive turns of phrase are anathema to linear club music convention, generating fizzing alchemy from mutually exclusive bedfellows such as dancehall and techno, or R&B and noise that could really only be executed by a producer of Madteo’s calibre. sub-consciously parsing a gripping intimacy, personality and urgent yet elusive psychedelia from ubiquitous media overload.
Kicking off with another *****-sampling zinger ‘1 4 U’ (following his infamous use of ‘Marvin’s Room’ on ‘Noi No’), and ending up mired in the melancholy gauze of ‘The Lies That Bind’, at each step the
album effortlessly resists a struggle to square the nature of artistic expression. SHAZZer Project created by Shazz and Jean-Marie K on their respective labels : Batignolles Square & Electronic Griot. These long-standing friends were left with an ambitious project to reissue Shazz's most outstanding titles over the past 25 years!

The SHAZZer Project was born out of the desire of these two enthusiasts to help discover or rediscover Shazz's emblematic titles from his albums or F Communications releases remixed by big players of the electronic music scene. The "A" EP is composed of remixes by French rising stars Folamour & Tour-Maubourg as long as established artists such as Ian Pooley & Oliver Dolar.

Cardiff's best kept secret Chesus debuts on 4lux with a release of his own. 4 strong deep house tracks. Cleverly combining the old with the new, Chesus shows his amazing production skills once again. The single features collaborations with fellow Cardiff producers Kofi Tarris and, of course, The Organ Grinder with whom he previously released the club banger Steam Roller. Tip!

Ross Ferraro is a seasoned producer from Australia that has been making waves as 1/2th of The Posse, - after a Posse remix on the Pulp side of things, Ross Ferraro now presents his first outing as Rosario on the Saft mothership. "Keep On EP" contains three originals and a remix by Adam Feingold's under his Ex-T moniker.

The title track is a breezy affair that combines crazed synth swirls with oddball disco FX and a tight section of drums which serves as the perfect opening track for this overall outgoing record.

"Ex-T's Phunqy Mix" starts off in a more timid way, but as the name suggests - quickly gets more extrovert and freakish. Vocals and experimental sounding blips and blops take over and cleverly come together in an original fashion.

"Lo" revolves around an tribal sounding chant, chord hits and an array of fx, and quickly becomes - while remaining quite stripped down - the most euphoric track in this collection. The chords sit beautifully with the bouncy drums and evolving arpeggiator that floats on top.

"Follow Me" is a silky smooth work with a soothing vocal and piano sample that work as the main sounds. Rosario is constantly altering the bass sound throughout this cut and creating a modern boogie ambience. The trance inducing synths suggest a relaxing evening atmosphere and cause for "Follow Me" to be the perfect farewell cut.

Up steps Slovenia’s Alleged Witches with a trippy, hypnotic four tracker - Initiation Rituals.

A hand stamped, limited vinyl pressing which demonstrates the artist’s ability to create intricate, subtle music that intrigues whilst still moving dance floors.

Over just a couple of releases Kristjan Kroupa has developed a sound which is both singular and versatile, taking in elements on house, techno and minimal without ever really being any one alone. Initiation Rituals sees him take his deepest exploration into the deep, dark, club music which he is becoming recognised for.

A record of detailed, percussive sounds, the release sees Alleged Witches present a package of sounds which is clearly inspired by his fascination with the occult, the strange and the sinister as his name might suggest.

Bakk Heia Records has evolved as an extension of Manchester based club night Bakk.Heia (Back Here).
The label mirrors the party's ethos: blurring the lines between ambient drones, performance, abstraction, hedonism, and dance music.

Johnny Phethean aka Schuttle, born in Newcastle and now based in Manchester, heads up Bakk Heia's debut offering with a 4-track EP, following a 6-track cassette released through London/Paris label Panatype, which ranked highly in Boomkat's ambient charts and received a sterling review from Resident Advisor.

The A side starts with the fractured and angular expanse of 'Grade 1', which gives way to the meditative percussion of 'Speke'.
Over on the B, 'Utensil' delivers a club focused acidic tonker, with 'Grade 2' providing the gentle reprise.

Schuttle's music is as much built for the dance floor as it is shaped for the introspective listener - raw and tender in equal measure.

When Smallpeople went touring Australia for the third time in 2016, we played a gig in Brisbane and had an amazing time hanging with James Hilan, a young gun from the local scene-
a heavy vinyl collector and bad-ass DJ. He took us to the Wheel of Brisbane for our first Vape experience ever and after some good laughs we became friends. When James sent over
some of his deep yet pumping tracks a few years later we were blown away and when we played them out at our monthly residency at Golden Pudel in Hamburg we decided to gave

Taking inspiration from a vast musical sphere, the Munich-Vienna pair Jorkes are widely recognised for their open-minded and passionate approach to electronic music which is translated through their Freeride Millenium imprint and own unique productions. ‘Cross The Line’ will be the duo’s first outing since 2016 seeing them join up with the Italian pair Hard Ton who are known for releases on Wonder Stories, Luv Shack Records, Toy Tonics and many more. Jorkes invite Live At Robert Johnson artist Massimiliano Pagliara and Philpot founder SoulPhiction aka Jackmate for remix duties which tops off this distinctive release highlighting the openness and sensibility of their musical philosophy.
‘Cross The Line’ begins the EP with alleviating pads balanced harmoniously with alluring, heart-warming vocals and gentle keys drifting throughout before Massimiliano Pagliara delivers an infectious remix focusing on hypnotic bass grooves, effervescent drums and undulating pads fluttering naturally with the stirring modulations.
‘Jackmate’s Dub Mix’ deploys low-riding resonations fused with muffled tones and thrilling, shuffling rhythms within whereas ‘Jackmate’s 90s Mix’ focuses heavily on organic percussion rolling throughout with robust musical elements and looping vocals. SoulPhiction’s ’Dub Mix’ completes the pack with a tranquil take on the original laying focus on funk-infused instrumentals and subdued jazz drums.

After making a serious impact with their remarkable 'Swedish Lo-Life' and 'Trans-World Junktion' releases on fellow Swedish label Studio Barnhus, we're thrilled to have them onboard for our 100th release on Local Talk.

Yes, that is correct, we’re celebrating the big 100. Since the very beginning we've covered everything from the deeper shades of house to the jackin' and the gritty club jams, released some slower BPMs and also the uplifting, vocal and organic house.
As you probably noticed - we love it all.

The 100th release main track 'Lajbans' is one of those sublime tunes that is bridging the gap between all styles of dance music and got the MLiR trademark, it's epic and manages to offer plenty of subtle details to keep you locked for the full 9 minute experience.
Accompanied with the original is a masterclass in dub 'Lajbans (Bellaterra dub)'.
You got the versatility of the original carefully stripped back but also absorbing layers upon layers of seductive sonic moods, it's a trip for sure and you don't want it to end.

Following the success of the now sold out Freundchen EP, True Romance revisits the disco anthem with this hot hot hot trio of remixes, right in time for the summer. On the A side, Red Rack'Em puts Freundchen through his cut and paste wizardry delivering a heavily filtered, bass heavy, hypnotic disco version. On the flip, Lauer cranks up the groove and unleashes the pianos for a classy house rendition that oozes sunshine and smiles. Russian producer Phil Gerus's gets gritty on his take, bringing the track on a mad chopped up italo road.

Powering their way through 2019 with no sign of letting up, WOLF Music unleash their next house gem, ‘Strangerinthecity’, from German pairing Kandinsky & Mr. Fries. Six slices of soulful deepness, that range from blissfully Balearic and chugging groovers, to hazy jazz-infused sweetness, crunchy beats and sweeping interludes.

Kicking off the A side a cinematic intro, laced with movie samples and thundering pianos, gives a grand opening for ‘Stranger’ to slide in with its bongo delights, dusty trumpet melodies, psych guitar licks and fluttering Rhodes. Couple that with the modulated vocal snips and it’s a wave of warmness destined to win over any dancefloor. ‘Fallingasleep’ takes the final slot on the A side, a chuggy bass-arp-fuelled interlude with rippling hats, echoing rides and washes of the sea, to lead you serenely into the second half of the record.

On the flip side, ‘Downhere’ and ‘Strollingaround’ sandwich either side of ‘Junkfoodnmusicpt2’, like the juicy pleasures its namesake depicts, encasing it lovingly in two dreamy house numbers. The former is a trumpet laden, smokey cocktail of grooves and the latter a more disco-tinged offering, led by a dynamic bass / guitar combo alongside delicate brass and string tones. The tender filling to this deep-fried delight? ‘Junkfoodnmusicpt2’ – a beatsy trip of glistening, lo-fi, instrumental hip hop that will leave you salivating for more.

Nicewon keeps thangs moving in 2019 with the 'Mood & Impulse EP' from Jeff Swiff. Three new cuts from Jeff, long-side a stellar 'Re-Jazz’ by Donnie Moustaki. Phat drums, crisp hats, snappy leads, warm pads and all that. Four moods and a different vibe- for all hours of the night, with a Digi-Only 5th cut, available on Bandcamp. Esteemed Philpot boss Soulphiction is back on Local Talk with Beehive, a track that champions his own take on house, a sound that is both current and classic.

Beehive is in short a no-nonsense club track with freaky stab chops alongside brilliantly programmed beats.

We're offered two versions of the track, the HiPhife or the Classic mix, both infused with an addictive jack, either version you choose you'll win.

To make things even more spicy we got our buddy Jamie 3:26 returning to Local Talk.
This time he's putting the drum-machine to a serious workout and adding that special Windy City Bump he does oh so well.

Ivaylo is next up on his Bogota Records imprint with a pair of fresh new cuts that come complete with a remix from Hugo LX. Bulgarian native Ivaylo is based in Oslo, and has vast experience of the dance music industry, having continuously proving himself as an essential DJ and producer, most recently his release on Cassy's Kwench Records 'Ae Way'.

He delivers again here with Hausa, a deep roaming tune with a bassline that immediately lifts your energy. It makes for a back room track that is super tasteful and filled with warped synths and deft percussion that gets under your skin. Hugo LX serves up a tripe remix with tiny little sonic details, a spooky sense of late night mischief and neon melodies that really standout.

Last of all, House Moult is a busier, more bristling cut with jostling drums and underlapping bass, an inventive sense of musical warmth and plenty of fresh ideas that are finished with an anthemic vocal that will get the crowd on their toes.

This is another standout EP from all concerned, and another great chapter of Bogota Records.

DJ Yaroze delivers a 4 track ep with some raw late night house tracks and uplifting sample house for the real deep house warriors!

The „Sans rouge EP“ is a return to Greymatter’s sampling roots reminiscent of his early works on WOLF Music. Swiss producer Deetron returns to Music Man Records with Heartwalking EP due out on the 23rd of November.

Fresh from releasing his DJ-Kicks mix in March of this year and the Storytellers 2x12 with DJ Bone, Heartwalking is a two track EP playing with fast moving and melodic techno. The title track is a high energy cut which tumbles over precise drums patterns and thumping bass. We've got some good news for those hip shakin', booty breakin' lovers of bumpy house music: Fouk are back on Heist. Their new Truffles EP is packed with swinging goodness and comes with a jazzy Hugo LX remix. After a busy period last year, Fouk have taken the time to experiment in their studio, focusing on expanding their sound and releasing only a handful of tunes. Their 'Mating Call' EP on their own label Outplay saw them explore the deeper side of things, while remixes for artists like Joey Negro on his own Z Records alongside Ron Trent saw them show off their production skills with a superb hi tech funk track. Nearly 2 years after their 'With Lasers' EP, we now give you the 'Truffles' EP. The A-side kicks off with the title track and instantly shows you a new side of Fouk. 'Truffles' is their take on what ravey piano house should sound like and it's funky as hell. Meanwhile, 'I'll be down' is about as Fouk as you can get. With their ever so sexy percussion, a moody vocal and synthy sprinkles all around, you hear so much of what makes their music so energetic and inspiring. On the flip, 'Need my Space' sounds like something you'd hear if Pépé Bradock and Charles Webster would get together in the studio: dreamy synth lines, lovely textures and weird electronics over an ever so sexy bassline. The remix on this EP comes from Parisian artist Hugo LX, whose love for soulful electronic music and jazz are perfectly presented in his remix of 'I'll be down'. The second release of the label connected to the well-know party Take It Easy in Milan, comes from the party and label co-owner DJLMP. For his debut EP, DJLMP shows his eclectic vision of the club music, passing throw disco samples, house music and percussive vibes. "Blow Your Mind" open the EP with an epic and dreamy filtered sample. On a2, DJLMP gives his dancefloor and house vision of "Kachi Kachi" by the brilliant In Flagranti. This November sees the launch of Manchester based imprint Music Is Love Records, kicking things off with a four-track release of sublime house cuts in the form of 'Back In The Dayz' by Dutch duo New Jack City.
In true Manchester fashion the labels philosophy is to create a platform for releasing 90's tipped underground house music and embodying a hands on attention to detail with heavyweight vinyl, hand curated artwork and
high grade remix artists set for each release. Local acts, artist friends and up and coming producers will be providing releases from the off with label owners Oli Furness and Angus Jefford delivering remix works on each
under their Music Is Love guise. Arnhem based New Jack City launch things here, they're relatively fresh faces on the scene having formed their collaboation in early 2011, their ethos is heavily focused on Chicago house
music with an old school grit and rawness incorporated.
Title track 'Back In The Dayz' opens the release, utilizing timeless 909 drum programming with a big open hat, off-kilter claps and weighty kick. A subtle sub bass softly meanders around the drums in the background adding a bouncy shuffle while warm Rhodes chords build the track alongside a filtered vocal chop. Classic house stabs are introduced to the latter stages alongside a soulful spoken word vocal about the feeling of house rounding off the old school vibe. Next up is label owners Music is Love's rework of 'Back In The Dayz', adding a sharp intensity to the drums with an insistent snare pattern running throughout and the signature sounds of 90's house, a deep bubbling organ hook brought in, this is a brilliantly contrasting remix from the duo with a clear distinction yet capturing the vibe of the original cut beautifully.
Next up is 'Gimme That Chance', a pacier affair picking up the tempo slightly and embracing a US Garage vibe. Dreamlike synth chords, warbling pad lines and a sonorous walking sub-bass build the tracks body while an
amalgamation of vocal chops are layered, looped and processed throughout, creating an ever evolving dynamism.
'The Golden Age' closes the release with crunchy distorted drums and heavily reverberated synth shots running from the start, the track takes on a darker form than the preceding tracks with a peak-time dance floor approach. The introduction of a warm melodic synth melody in the centre stages adds a unifying house touch, breaking things down before the pumping heavily swung rhythm re-enters and tails out the track.
This is an outstanding inaugural release from Music Is Love Records and a clear indication of the sheer quality to come from this brand new Northern England based label.

DJ Delish lives at the epicenter of East Coast club culture, having cut her teeth on the ballroom circuit as both a DJ and performer. Vive La Musique burst onto the scene last year with the hugely successful "Tabala Mouv". For the follow-up, they present two songs from prolific Congolese talent, Sammy Massamba, taken from his cult self-released album "1990 - Beni Soit Ton Nom". Title track "Azali" immediately hooks you in with its mysterious intro, laden with early 90s keyboards and drum machine. Sammy's funk guitar and anthemic vocal lines turn this unique composition into an infectious afro-pop masterpiece. Label founder Aroop Roy steps up with a customary edit, extending the arrangement and giving the drums and mix a modern-club touch. Sammy describes the second track, "Birika", as a mix of Congolese Rumba, Afrobeat. and Reggae. A mid-tempo bass and guitar groove form the backdrop for Sammy's powerful vocals. An exquisite rumba guitar line completes another high class composition.

The quote is, no doubt, fitting for Niko Schwind, since the Berlin-based DJ and producer consistently demonstrates a deeply anchored love for and close bond to house music, the art form he himself has tamed. As a DJ, he travels the globe, having played in Europe, Australia, Thailand, Brazil, the US and Mexico, and in his sets he creates a feeling of connectedness between himself and others, as well as within the crowd. On Stil vor Talent, Niko Schwind now presents the fruit of his labour in the from of his third album: 'Grippin' World' captivates the listeners with its versatility and coherence, and kidnaps them to a world of sound, made up of elegantly reduced grooves, organic arrangements and accessible vocal-melodies. With 'Perfect Fit', the first single of the album, we are handed an absolute highlight, as Heartbeat's warm voice and a simple guitar-loop form a flawless musical symbiosis, accentuated by a synthetically creaking bass-line. Project Runaway brings together two of Tel Aviv's new breed of talented DJ / producers in a meeting of tripped out, expansive, psychedelic, club music. A name on many leftfield lips, Alek Lee's journey continues following two acclaimed solo releases for the wonderful Antinote crew and new project, Shame On Us (alongside Naduve and Yovav Arzi) for that brightest star, Hivern Discs. MOTHER RECORDINGS launch into 2019 with a dream collaborative release from PAOLO MARTINI and SIMION. Having both released on the imprint previously with solo EPs, as well as a combined back catalogue spanning Repopulate Mars, Emerald City Music and Snatch, the pair come together in fine form blending their rich tech house sounds offering up two slick cuts.

'That Sound' kicks things off with a soulful vocal which glides over a pulsing bass line and rolling tech drums. Flurries of percussive elements add to the infectious groove.

On the flip, 'Hustle Jam' is a genius blend of disco sampling and club focussed house music, filtered horns and guitar grip a hold of you from the first hit, sending you on what is bound to be a dance filled journey.

Following on from 2018's 'Tribeca Tapes Part One' release, Willie Graf & his musical partner Darren Eboli deliver another fantastic 4 tracker on Copenhagen's Music For Dreams Label.

Willie Graff splits his year between DJ residencies in New York and Ibiza (Pacha). In this second outing with studio partner Darren Eboli, the influence is, African, NY clubbing, World mixing Mediterranean and further afield. The duo finds its roots in the past, building a link between the soul of a song and the warmth of a melody then combining them with a contemporary sound.

The opener 'All Is Bliss' sits at the pinnacle of the underground - A powerful, Balearic, disco influenced club track full of Spanish guitar, handclaps, club synths sounds like it was made for Dj Harvey's 'Mercury Rising' at Pikes in Ibiza. 'Ahimsa' is an outstanding track with funky breakbeat, weird Eastern samples, sneaking acid and Kraftwerk like arpeggios.

'La Sirena' is a balearic beach styled mid tempo chugger with chopped up breaks, deep sub-bass, Compass Point styled keys, whispering voices saying 'Let Your Mind Be Free'. If you are a Cafe Del Mar connoisseur and longing for that sunset moment 'Bellatrix' does the trick featuring bits of Spanish Guitar, Flute, Oboe and floating warm pads creating that early 90ties vibe. Another winner from Willie and Darren - and hopefully an album soon.

Robert Steenkamer is known as a purveyor of exquisite house music. Under his Roberto S guise, the Torontonian has released several landmark records. Besides this, he is known as a valued selector in his native Canada. The collaborative releases with Jex Opolis under their "Conga Radio" moniker have received worldwide praise throughout the house community. For his Pulp debut, Steenkamer has created a diverse body of music that touches different moods and genres.

On the A-side, the opening track "Inner Rhythm" is a orchestrated piece of work that uses an uplifting vocal cut and ethereal flute sounds to create a calm and positive dancefloor experience. Also on the A-side "Swizik" is a melody-heavy work where Steenkamer uses fun sequences, euphoric pads and well balanced drum patterns.

The title track is placed on the A3 position and is a genre-transcending cut. The tempo is is low and the beats are dragging along with the well-executed pads and synth riffs. On the B-side, the title track is being remixed by fellow Canadian "Florist". On this remix, Florist turns the slow vibe of the original into a soul touching dancefloor creeper that will definitely gain a lot of support in melodic circles. "Remember When" is a positive work with a snappy bassline and oozing synth sounds. Glass Road EP will be available from all specialized retailers in early 2019.

M.A.D. is a collaboration of the Funkroom DJs and producers Moxx And Digilog.

After having contributed single tracks for YOSHI005 and WWM003 they subsequently announced their first EP together as M.A.D.

Following on from the positive feedback for KRL's 'Third' EP (Quintessentials 62), we had to give the standout track 'Never Leave' the remix treatment. 'Never Leave' is a straight up house track with those beats and rhythmic synths, but with the outstanding vocals of Janine Small it makes it a head turner! The A-side remix, courtesy of Greymatter (Wolf Music, Unique Uncut) keeps the overall vibe of the original, but adds more dirt and bass business ready for club action. The B-side remix courtesy of Quintessentials buddy Loz Goddard (Church, Razor-n-Tape) takes a step into deep broken beat territory while keeping the beautiful vocals. We love both remixes, job's done!

recently received some demos from rising French artist and Concrete Paris regular DJ Marina Trench and liked the personality in those tracks, something really House in my opinion! For this ''Signature ep 1'' (which is her first release) Marina presents three House cuts. I asked New York House legend Kerri Chandler if he felt as strongly as i did on those tracks and if he could bless us with a remix, he accepted, and delivered this Deep and Powerfull version of MTME. And Roman Poncet and myself could not resist and give a stripped down hypnotic interpretation of Cascade under our Fang Moniker. Dj Deep.

Anyone who has heard the DABJ crew play out over the last year will bound to have heard some of the fire from this. Berlin - Frankfurt based label House Is OK is celebrating its five-year long presence and has decided to mark that period with something special Label's story started with a sticker Homeboy printed in his former hometown, Zagreb, saying 'House Is OK'. Catchy, right It became an underground slogan of the local scene. It didn't take long for people to embrace the idea stating that it's OK to be into melodic, fresh, groovy yet, at times, a bit awkward dance music. Just around the same time Homeboy's Frankfurt based bro's Oliver Achatz and Janis played with the idea of starting a record label. Guess what the logical choice for the name was Ten records, dozens of original songs and remixes later House is OK continues to grow. Literally. What was once a platform for the original three founders is now an international family affair supporting the talented artists from Frankfurt, Stockholm, Alexandria and Orlando. Nurturing the friendly approach this musical family continues to grow. Looking back at the first five years, not only at the music that connected them all but at the bonds that deepened through the production process, House is OK crew wanted to take create a proper reminder and thank the ones supporting them throughout the years. A double 12' pack titled 'Gemišt' seemed like a proper way to do that. - Gemišt' will be released as two separate EPs featuring the original music from Kornél Kovacs, Roman Flügel, Gavri & McQueen, TCB, House Of Life and the label makers themselves. Oliver and Janis deliver tracks under their known names, while Homeboy introduces his new project with fellow Wilde Renate resident The Swift, called Longhair. Croatian artist Ugruv Smek marks his yearlong collaboration with the label delivering yet another smashing artwork.

Hot on the heels! MAT.JOE are back on their regular MOTHER RECORDINGS label. This time the acclaimed Berlin duo serve up two more sizzling Disco cuts that are guaranteed to make a big impact.

- Disco Ballz' is happiness pur and will put a big smile on your face. A genuine House track with a touch of Disco. Straight up funky, 4-to-the-floor with an energetic infinity looped female voice build up to the climax. Pure love for the dance floor.

The flip is - Neva Gone', a more boisterous jam with wipping hats and earthy kicks bounding about with tons of energy below. Another expert vocal sample really adds flame to the fire and the endless filter tweaks really make this one jump out of the speakers, boom! :)

At Heist, we're always on the prowl for exciting new music and we've seriously found it in the form of new project 'Kassian', the brainchild of Joe Danvers- McCabe ('Danvers') and Warren Cummings ('Warren Xclnce').

Both are regulars in the underground and wider reaching London scenes, Warren is a co-founder of Abouttoblow and a previous studio producer at Worldwide FM, whilst Joe came through DJing and running nights in the eclectic world of Bristol nightlife before moving to London.

Joe gained considerable attention this year with his 'Interludes EP' on Wotnot music, with 'Aye Ata' getting played by pretty much everyone from Gilles Peterson to Octo Octa. Perhaps unknowingly, he entered into Heist territory with a Frits Wentink remix on that release. After hearing this release, we got in touch with him and that's when we heard about Joe and Warren's plans to launch a new project together. They already had some tracks ready and when we heard them, it had 'Heist Recordings' written all over it. The whole EP breathes soul and funk with that dancefloor punch you've come to expect from Heist.

The Premise EP delivers three originals, each with a hint of soulful, old-school New York House, but with a fresh style and unique character. Finishing the EP is an eccentric and vibey DJ Nature remix. This release marks the start of a new musical path for the duo and we hope they have a lot more music to share with the world.

The title track 'The Premise' has a special meaning for them: It's named after the London studio/café 'The Premises' where they had their first studio sessions together following a chance meeting at a Peckham party they were both playing. The track is a moody but high-energy jam filled with Rhodes licks, vocal chops and some lovely string work. 'Bad Habit' kicks in a bit harder but finds a nice balance again with a prominent piano, accompanied by some guitar chops and a soulful vocal. The energy is kept high with a loopy bassline and a mix of cowbells and toms... wait for the acid line to hit to really feel this one!

The flip holds two versions of Love 4:2. The original is probably the darkest track of the ep with a heavy-as-hell bassline. The track stretches out over nine minutes with various vocal, percussive and synth elements taking place to support the vibe. The second version of this track comes from the skilled hand of DJ Nature. He's been busy digging in his own archives; recently re-issuing old Nature Boy tracks to much success. Luckily, we've managed to push his buttons with this track and the remix he delivered is classy as can be. He goes for a similar approach in terms of speed and energy, but takes a sharp leftfield turn with a syncopated bassline and some twisted and tangled work on the keys.

Altogether we've got a debut release that has already done wonders in many of our DJ sets and we're super excited to introduce Kassian to the world. Play it loud and enjoy!

Legendary producers and early acid house forefathers Phuture are welcomed to the AVOTRE imprint with a huge remix package of their seminal 1988 hit, We Are Phuture.

By enlisting the production talents of three of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music, Phuture have rejuvenated the classic track with an up to date sound, 30 years on from its original release.

Kicking off the release, techno don, Ricardo Villalobos, adds his unique flair, creating a much deeper alternative to the original, dripping with weighty tones and dense synth interchanges.

AVOTRE label owner Santé also lays his hand to the release with his own take on the Phuture classic. With a slightly lighter feel than Ricardo's efforts, Santé harnesses his exceptional production capabilities to produce another massive remix of the track.
Starting relatively heavy, Santé embraces the original's now legendary vocal, gradually building before eventually dropping back into its heavy foundations.

Finally, Marco Faraone rounds off the remix package with a true to style club weapon.
With each of these renowned producers adding their own unique style to this classic track, 'We Are Phuture (Remixes Part I)' provides a selection of modern interpretations that will appeal to dancefloors across clubland.

Also on the package is German producer and Watergate resident, Sebo K, with a smooth remix.

Kinky Movement - Everything Starts the party of with an offering from long standing group, Kinky Movement. They're no stranger to Myna, having frequented the label over the past years
with both remixes and full EP's. Expect chunky, underground house with hints of classic sounding house vocals - perfect for peak time floors. Kinky Movement's first release was back in 2004 on Tango Recordings. Since then they have gone on to work with well over 50 various labels from around the globe and released over 200 original tracks and remixes on labels such as
Large Music, Salted Music, Swing City, Drop Music, King Street, Moulton Music, Nitegrooves, Jalapeño, Sleazy Deep, and Simma Black. Also, the trio has recently had their music featured on BBC Radio 1 Extra, presented by DJ Monki.

Matt frequented the label a lot over the last 15 years, with some outstanding funk fused house music that always topped many vinyl charts and sold out for us. Now he's back, delivering the goods for us once more. Expect the Matt Shrewd signature sound of chunky beats, live bass and catchy vocal hooks,

On the flip side is a new member of the Myna family, Terry Waites.
He delivers a driving, tech infused house number that still has a deep, underground house vibe & bouncy bassline, topped of with some trippy spoken vocals!
Terry moved to Perth, Australia in the summer of 1997 and has made a name for himself playing at festivals and clubs around Australia, aswell as touringcountries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UK.
More recently, Terry has gone on to produce some massive house tracks and remixes for some of the industry's top underground house music labels.
Terry is also the founder and brains behind the hugely successful promotions agency Soul Project, which has been hosting international and eastern states house acts more than 10 years in venues around Perth. NIKCO - GIVIN IT UP Finishing off the EP, we welcome Nikco to the Myna family. He held a residency in Ibiza and Mallorca for 11 years until heading to Hong Kong to
frequent the Drop club, Oma & Premium Sofa Club.
Nikco has previously released under the alias Bamboo Soldier. His track - Dogz on Crack (original mix) is featured on the 2018 official video for Sonar music festival, Hong Kong.
The past year has seen him releasing his deeper productions under Nikco, as he joins Myna, with a deep, sexy, silky track that oozes quality and classiness... think classic deep house vibes.

ncouraged by the high demand for 'Foundations Vol.1', which saw DJ Spinna and Kai Alce join forces to release the Cajmere classic 'Brighter Days' on 7' vinyl, the second volume of
'Foundations' sees the pair digging even deeper into House music history, selecting a pair of tracks from Chicago legend Tyree Cooper. The first cut on our strictly limited 7' pressing was
originally named 'Video Crash', then re-titled 'Acid Crash' on a bootleg version released around the same time. Whichever name you prefer, this 1988 track hails from an era of creative oneupmanship in the Chicago underground. The story goes that Marshall Jefferson and/or Lil' Louis created a jam called 'Video Clash' in the mid 80s (there's still some controversy about who made it, so we'll say no more). Keen to go one better, Tyree hit the studio to make a track called 'Video Crash' and in the process he created one of the most potent and recognizable Acid House tracks of all time. On the flip side and originally released back in '89 is Joe Smooth's 'Too Deep' mix of another Tyree classic: 'Hardcore Hip House'. A crossover anthem, Tyree's original version paired rap vocals and James Brown cutups with raw House beats. Fellow Chicago DJ Joe Smooth shows off the
flawless, crisp production abilities that would later see him producing for Destiny's Child, New Order and Whitney Houston with this superb, timeless Deep House remix

"Lillo" Carillo is a young Italian DJ and producer with several years of background behind. Born and raised near the city of Naples, he settled in Milan from several years where he immediately fit in the circuit of the main local clubs, getting noticed for energy and creativity behind the dj booth. Simultaneously "Lillo" offers his musical skills by working with several Italian fashion brands for which he is a Sound Designe. In 2014 he released his first remix for an EP vinyl with Editors Kutz vol.4, collaborating with manufacturers which are already known in the world of the "Nu-Disco", as Sleazy McQueen and 78Edits, therefor experiencing a strong success that makes him known even outside Italian territory. After a Winter spent in the recording studio, he is finally ready for his new EP on the newly released "Palm Hands Recording", where you can see all the talent and eclecticism of a young Italian producer, a master in juggling house sounds, rnb, disco and funk.

Reigning vibe-wave don of the City of Roses returns to the SILK chalet bearing four fresh afterhours anthems ripe for repeat rinsing. Midnight takes its name from Body San's special-ordered strain of Nag Champa, and exudes a similar air of nocturnal promise, streetlights reflected in glass brick fountains and condominium windows. Brandon Knocke's knack for Memphis design funk and skymall fusion hits an apex here, flexing a full spectrum of rhythmic reveries: fluid, jazzy, joyous, sensous. Song to song and side to side Midnight flaunts a panoramic rooftop view of leather interiors, fern-accented foyers, and supreme motion software. Midnight is 12 AM, 12 inches of bump 'n' bounce 'n' body euphoria, music for low lit silhouettes unified in emotional response. Somewhere a clock strikes, a ball drops, and day turns to dawn.

New York producer and pianist Eric Maltz lives in Berlin. He produces and mixes his music in a simple, subtle and elegant way and puts his music out on his own label - Flower Myth.
In 2017, Eric Maltz released his first record on Levon Vincent's Novel Sound, including the splendid 'We Have Power', an ode to freedom and celebration of life, featuring the warm vocals of Peruvian Cristina Valentina.
On the brooding rhythmic dancefloor, Cristina's voice opens up and reminds of the power of a meaningful lyric, how a loving message can touch the heart ever so strongly.
Over the past year, 'We Have Power' has become a permanent fixture in the Possible Futures record bag. The two had to learn more about Eric and Cristina. 'Naked Broken' is the first engraving of this newly formed and inspiring musical friendship. A hot groover rooted in a rich NY House tradition, featuring di erent versions for the adventurous DJ.
Eric Maltz & Cristina Valentina played live in Berlin on September 2nd, for The Hot Run! - the annual Possible Futures open-air summer dance, along with Elena Colombi, Kassem Mosse, Sassy J and Tom Trago.

Belgian New Beat and trance influenced tracks by Betonkust, Innershades, Robert D and Deris. 'Familly Matters Vol.1 is a 5 track EP that counts as the start of a new series on the 9300 Records imprint. It's the proper result of combined forces by these trusted beat suppliers and freshman 'Deris'. Each of them delivered their own personal homage to the thriving Belgian nightlife in the late 80's and 90's, when clubs like Boccaccio and later Zillion acquired an almost legendary status. To this day, their iconic neon-signs are still etched in our collective memory. In a decade where serious scandals, that even involved bribery, lead to heavy political disputes and a huge health-crisis (the Dioxine crisis) predominated Belgian media, people were searching for a way to escape reality and these clubs helped them to leave this world behind through music and entertainment. At the end of 1999, a point of no return was reached for the federal government, but a musical legacy was built...

Back in February 2013, shortly after their impressive first release as a label, Music Is Love launched a double VA entitled Lovebox: an 8 track double-vinyl release that included tracks from 8 talented up-and-coming producers on their roster. By innovatively previewing the producers in this way, the label laid the foundations for what listeners could expect for each artists' subsequent EPs. The artists who released on it were not hyped up flavours of the month, but rather emerging talents who sat perfectly with the label's musical ethos - quality and original underground house with a contemporary, dynamic feel. Since the VA, the label have gone from strength to strength and have firmly established themselves as one of the most brightest house labels around in the UK.

Just over a year later and following in the success of its predecessor, MIL return with their second VA and with that, a chance for listeners to hear the new additions they've acquired, in addition to some already known faces. Liam Geddes opens proceedings with Untitled. A deep sense of soul permeates the whole track as a rumbling baseline imbues the beat with an ever-present sense of groove that never lets the head stop nodding. Geddes has really fine tuned and matured his sound over the past year, and this track is further evidence of his quality as a producer. The subtle percussive rhythms, electronic bleeps and synth nuances give this track a natural flow, as Geddes conjures something altogether more hypnotic, dark and purposeful.
Mr.KS, one of the newcomers to the label, outlines his coolly crafted style with track (Music) Makes Me Stronger. Brittle drums and deep warped synths suck you in and out and shape the structure of the beat, while afflicted chord patterns combine with the hypnotic repetition of a vocal sample to give the track a gesture towards techno but with a flow that pulls in house elements. Cassio Kohl introducers himself with a warm, melodic house number; rumbling synths circulate in the background of the track while ticking hi-hats and snares play off against the sumptuous vocal sample, which builds and falls back nicely into its original path until electronic glitches sporadically ease in and move the beat forward.

Jamie Trench has been making some serious headway of late and his track I Want You with Rebel serves a timely reminder of a producer on top form. A heavy, rolling baseline resonates intently, building against murky vocal samples, shuffling snares and off-beat key stabs that grow in presence and intensity - a track that will no doubt prove a high point in any DJ set. Label boss Oli Furness has a raw knack for creating crisp, heavy sounds and Take Monday Off remains on a similar path, albeit the beauty lies in the subtlety of arrangements rather than bigger hitting sounds. Chopped shimmying keys tease, filter and build fluently with urgent hi-hats and swinging drums that flourish harmoniously together, while an understated baseline adds weight and rhythmic groove typically inherent in Furness' work.

Italian heavyweight Tuccillo has released on some of the most reputable labels on the circuit - releases for 20:20 Vision and Freerange is evidence enough of his provenance - and this time he brings his baleric house sound with the impeccable sounds of DubFlanged Gru. Shimmering percussion shakes meander against the bumping bassline while the endearing, muffled vocals that threaten to break out are superseded by breeze-block keys that filter and descend into a chattering groove. Dutch producer U Know The Drill brings things back into heavier house territory with a no-nonsense, stripped-back stomper, the type of track we've been used to hearing on Dutch affiliates New Jack City's material. Heavy snares kick with a punch, and the deep drone-like vocal swings against the wobbling baseline and tapestry of electronic bleeps. Other sampled vocals and glitches weave in with the juxtaposing elements playing off one another to huge effect, ensuring that sheer energy pervades the track.

Jackson Ryland rounds off the heavy 8 track VA - scattering hi-hats and swirling pads build, while the shuffling drums roll on until fleeting chord flourishes and a musky vocal hook bring the track into wistful nostalgia. The elements of track balance superbly and are propelled forward by the intricate drum arrangements and well-crafted hi-hat/vocal combo.
The difference in approach and outcome from each artist results in yet another highly impressive outcome, with 8 high grade tracks that show another side to Music Is Love. The sounds are tougher and the mood is darker, but the premise of the whole MIL concept remains more apparent than ever with this release: sourcing fresh underground talent, curating original electronic music and evolving artists already on the roster.
