Envee kept us waiting for his album a little bit too long, but our patience finally pays off - "Time & Light" drops later this year! But before this happens, we got an appetizer for you - 4-track vinyl EP with tunes that didn't make the cut, but are too good to be forgotten.
It is widely acknowledged that Envee aka "The Bear" is all comfy in club environment, so it was high time to release those four club bangers on a strictly limited (300 pieces) vinyl "Time & Light EP". Two instrumental deep house dancefloor fillers on the A-Side, and two surprising covers on the B-side. The latter ones you may have already heard in Envee's DJ sets - track ID requests were flowing in, so Envee decided to finally spill the beans and put it all out on vinyl.
Cover photos were taken by Filip Blank, Animisiewasz put all the pieces together, Envee did the mix himself and Eprom Sounds Studio is responsible for mastering. Quality guaranteed!

They say all good things comes in threes, and with the marking of Nachtbraker's 3rd release for Heist, we can confirm this universal truth once again. Maurits Verwoerd comes back to Heist with more dancefloor muscle than ever before, and shows us great development of his sound: while keeping his unconventional drum patterns and love for the deeper side of house, he adds some filtered funk flavor along the way. 'Gotta act to react' drives on a saturated bassline, a hypnotizing guitar lick and some seriously loose hi-hats, but really delivers once those hard to place filtered hits come in. 'Pollo con Pollo' is potentially Maurits' most clear attempt at a straightforward groove, with a lovely dreamy guitar loop running throughout the track. Add his loose sense of arrangement and changeovers, and it's still anything but straightforward. The B- side gets nice and weird with 2 versions of Intermezz(l)ow, the one being a lovely textured interlude and the other a rough drum workout built around the same theme. When we asked Maurits who he wanted to have as a remixer, he suggested he'd do a remix himself. We knew better than to argue with him, and since he is who he is, we're not entirely surprised he came up with a great dubbed out acid-tinged flip of 'Gotta act to react'. This EP really shows Nachtbraker's steady rise and will most likely take him out of the shadows he so enjoys, into headline territory and we're glad to support him in this journey. Having pinned to perfection the sonics of the Adriatic, Croatia's Love International Festival bottles up their blissed out rhythms and sunrise sessions for the inauguration of Love International Recordings, fittingly, with a first release from UK producer Begin.

Seemingly unstoppable, Palermo Traxx Vol 2 is the third release from The Home Current for Castles in Space during 2019. Following the polished industrialisms and eighties inspired grooves of LP “Civilian Leather” and an immediately sold-out 7”, Martin Jensen returns with his final record of the year recorded in praise of a long deceased nightclub called Candy Junction. Recalling the euphoria and positivity of a club night, this towering work shift gears from “Civilian Leather” to full on, futuristic, air cooled dance floor assault. The original plan for this record was to release a white label promo with a facsimile DJ feedback sheet. Straight from 1991 with love. However, as the music developed, it was agreed that this needed a full official release with all the tinsel and trimmings.

Intangible Records and Soundworks presents another classic in the rebound. Seven Grand Housing Authority's "I cant't Wait" comes around with fresh mastering and with Terrence Parker's new remix of legendary "Loves Got me High"!

Cinthie’s we_r_house imprint stands as a platform for more stripped-back, groove led house cuts and across the past few years has released material from the likes of Toman, Revivis, Julian Anthony, Alessio Viggiano and of course the label-head
herself. Here we see the imprint welcome Kevin Over onto the roster, most notably known for his releases on the likes of DJ Steaw’s House Puff, Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse Records and Gerd’s 4Lux amongst others.
‘Try Minus 10’ leads with dusty drum breaks, soft Rhodes chords and soulful vocals before ‘Lunte’ lays down a disco infused feel via funky bass lines, chanting vocal loops, horn stabs and filtered guitar licks.
’20 Dollar House’ featuring Marlon opens the flip-side, taking things back to a more classic house aesthetic via gritty stab sequences, swinging 909 drums, soaring vocals and jazzy piano melodies before ‘Fake 89’ rounds out the release on a deeper

Berlin based duo Evvol will release their second album 'The Power' on their own imprint Mad Dog & Love via the !K7 Collective. A meditation on love, the intimate and personal offering is a product of turning their thoughts inward after time spent considering the state of the world and politics over the last year. "It's about all relationships, including but not limited to our own", they explain, "and It details the intimate powers that bind us together."

Cinthie’s we_r_house has gone from strength to strength over the years with material from the likes of Kevin Over, Carlo Gambino and Cinthie herself bringing the label into the Spotlight for raw, understated and stripped-back house sounds. Here the label welcomes America’s Sam Haskin onto its roster, a producer and DJ hailing from the US House mecca of San Francisco.
